Today on 22/05/2023 I visited cspdcl office to submit my electricity bill by cash. I offer them the rs2000 note n they just said this can not be accepted here n when I try to understand ki why it is not acceptable then they just said just don’t argue i[censored] have other currency note then pay or be ready to pay fine accordingly.

    Light is not there from yesterday's evening ie from 6 pm . After repeated complaints behaviour of cspdcl members are irresponsible, rude and neglecting the complaint . Making customers fool by giving customers irrelevant excuses by saying that "line man is sleeping, it's raining we can't do anything, we don't know anything" etc

      This complaint is in regards to my electric connection with service number [protected] from A.E. CSPDCL TULSI NAGAR, KORBA, CHHATTISAGRH. There are several problems related to their bill amount and meter reading. for instance, reading four months (Feb-May) as per your bill was 0. Next month (June) it went straight up to 10000 units, which is way more than the cumulative average consumption of he past four months. Since, then the bill amount is increasing tremendously by Rs. 30000 every month and current outstanding is Rs. 134000, Even after several complaints this situation wasn’t rectified which clearly shows the negligence by CSPDCL workers. I seek a reduction in the bill amount.

      My एनर्जी बिल for last three months is not coming whereas online बिल amount came in mobile. I paid the bills. Please रिलीज the bills for my records.

        Present reading was for 42 days

        causes hig bill.

          Billing is not done on time, as well we get less time to pay the electric bill. And the recent bill is not a mistake but a big blunder. Show the careless work of cseb and their worker/officers who are least bothered of their work only joined for the sake of salary. Shame on such people and the related department. Reading taken is on/ by 13th of the month, whereas last date for check payment is 12th and cash payment by 15th. If any wants to do check payment, they need to pay the fine. Why???
          And this not taken for the first time. From last four months we going through this irregularity is there any to sort out this???

          see the date of reading...it was taken on 13th September 2017. and see the date of payment. cseb department has reached 2022, great...

            Dear sir i had made a sbi upi transaction for cspdcl bill pay. Rs. 1480 but no payment up was received on bill and the money was debited from the account at sbi. The details of the transaction are as follows: date of transaction:-28/07/2017 transaction id upi/[protected] amount:- rs.1480 bp no. [protected].

            Kindly look into the matter and arrange to return the money back into account at the earliest.

              Security deposite

              Why cspdcl is adding security deposit in the monthly bill. I don't understand why they are in need of SECURITY DEPOSIT.
              They say that it will be returned when the meter is surrendered. Secondly, there is no upper limit to that deposit. Third, they do not adjust the outstanding amount the next month, instead add the penalty while keeping the SD. Why will they keep the money and impose penalty of late payment giving us the least interest...

              1. I Khushbu Kispotta( resident of Namnakala Ambikapur) have completed my Bachelor degree last year and currently preparing for competitive exams. 2. I was studying in my room (6th April 2015 ) and suddenly a CFL blasted out and scattered all around me. I thank God again and again that its pieces did not touch my eyes and my body but only scattered around me. Fuse got burned and was thrown away to a distant place mobile charger got burnt away. 3. I thank God again and again that its pieces did not touch my eyes and my body but only got scattered around me. 4. At that time I was alone in my home; my parents were out of station. 5. If anything would have happened to me or my house who will take responsibility of it. 6. When I moved out of my house I saw the high voltage wire topmost in the transformer was broken away and was falling in my campus wall. 7. I could see a large crowd gathered around my house. I was sitting outside of my house and after around 1 and half hour few electrician from electricity department came to fix the problem. 8. The transformer is just 4 steps away from my house within my campus and high voltage wires passes above my house. No safety is being provided against this hazardous thing. Earlier also we have suffered many times because of this and have made complaints but action has been taken. 9. From many years this transformer is in our campus and no compensation has been provided since . I request that compensation should be given to us against this hazardous transformer for the years it has been placed in our campus and the consequences that we have suffered because of it. 10. So, I request you to please remove the transformer from my campus immediately. Early action from you is very important. 11. I thank God that I was saved from a major accident. If anything would have happened who would take responsibility for it. 12. Sir, please I make an humble request to you to urgently remove this transformer from my campus area.                 I had requested to State Electricity Board, RAIGARH for new electricity meter connection in my flat no. 206,on 01/11/2008 for DOMESTIC 5 KW Connection and applied for the same. I have also the original application with me.

                THE Electrical Contractor also verified the connection on 10/11/08
                But the Raigarh electricity board did not put the Energy meter
                So I had put temporary line connection from my neighbor for painting walls for my newly purchased flat after March 2009

                And on 1/05/09 the electricity board put raid and charged Rs.67242 which was excessively wrongly charged amount, and the bill of
                Rs 67242 was given to me on 09/08/09
                And I paid the bill under protest on 24/08/09

                I also appealed to ELECTICITY CONSUMER FORUM BILASPUR on 01/08/09. The Grievance Redressal Application serial no is LT-94, dated 01/08/09

                The FORUM also found that the amount of 67242 was charged wrongly ,that was against the law and act of state electricity board and they had also ordered the raigarh electricity board to correct the bill, and to make it around RS[protected]/- legally.
                The order no is 111,put on Electricity Board ,Raigarh on 31/08/09 and also reminded to Electricity Department Raigarh on Dec 08,May 09 and October 2009
                But till now they have not corrected this thing

                First of all it was not my fault, because I had already applied for NEW CONNECTION, but the Raigarh electricity Board was too lazy to do it, and then they did the Checking and illegally put ACT 135 (THEFT) and charged a large amount,
                but this act is PURELY under ACT 126 because of taking line connection from neighbor, and Bilaspur Electricity FORUM also agreed to it absolutely.

                I am suffering from this problem since long time, and 1 year has been passed, but my problem is not solved yet. It has become a serious issue now
                So I request you to help me to get my bill corrected for which the Raigarh Electricity board charged me illegally
