Dahisar Toll Naka Complaints & Reviews

Fees are collected at Dahisar Toll Nake which people are ready to pay, however, the roads around the toll naka are badly damaged. This not only increases the time in traffic and spoils the vehicle but also, causes a lot of issues or delays to ambulances, ladies, small children and old people in vehicles. The road quality is worst not only in monsoon but the entire year.

We are not ready to pay the toll as it is obviously used in a wrong way by the authorities instead o[censored]sing the money in maintaining the roads. On 17th July 2024, I was forced to pay the toll and while I asked for the reason, I was told by Mr. Santosh Jagadale (supervisor) to file a police complaint or a case in court but he will not allow any car to pass through the toll without paying the fees despite the road conditions. He also called the police on me to pay the toll.

Our demand is to repair the roads and only then collect Toll charges.

We were travelling by uber from Bhayendar to Andheri, the toll attendant stopped us and said it's blacklisted and we have to pay 40rs cash. We argued that the screen hasn't showed our cab number yet and he should scan with the machine, he started getting arrogant that its showing on the inside screen and was forcing us to pay the cash toll. The cab driver had to pay by cash since the cars behind were honking. As soon as the car started moving ahead, the Valid toll message came on the screen and cab driver called his owner and confirmed that the toll staff scammed us forcefully. Following is the toll receipt and fastag deducted message.

Today 19th June 2022 at 16:02 we were crossing dahisar toll Naka and heading towards mumbai. At lane 09, the attendant asked us to pay cash stating insufficient balance in my fast tag account. Since we were in hurry, we didn't think twice and paid him rs 40. When we reached home, I saw the message on my mobile about rs 40 being deducted from my fasttag account and the remaining balance was more than 500rs. Also, the receipt given at the toll didn't had any vehicle number mentioned. I am surprised to see so many similar complaints on this forum however no action taken yet.

On 18th while going to Mira Road 40 rs was deducted by auto detection and at the same time one person manually put the detector in front of the fastag sticker and the deduction reflected after sometime at that time my car was parked in Mira Road I crossed the toll naka after 12 in the night. Yesterday my car was full day at Mahalaxmi but still 40 rs is deducted I have all the msgs received please look into it attaching all the msgs

Toll personal had scan Fastag and said scan is not working and hence asked to pay Cash.

I had paid cash to avoid behind rush and trafic by trusting toll empolyee.

When I checked fastag message then its relized that Dahisar check naka had taken double charges for same time

My Vehicle No. MH04-EH 5266 crossed toll naka today i.e. Tuesday 05/05/2022 at 10:01AM and the toll fee of Rs.40/- was deducted from my fastag account balance. While I am in Office in Goregaon at 14:26PM I received a message stating further deduction of Toll Fee of Rs.40\- from my fastag account.

The same incident has happened last Saturday as well. I was in Delhi and my vehicle no MH04-EH 5266 was parked at my residence and still the toll fee of Rs.40/- got deducted from my FastTag account balance.

In the late night of 17/03/2022 I was travelling from Mumbai to Valsad. Following are mail received by me for debit amount.

1) debited for Rs. 40 for transaction by Vehicle MH47Q0339 at Toll Dahisar on[protected]T23:42:43.

2) debited for Rs. 75 for transaction by Vehicle MH47Q0339 at Toll Khaniwade Toll Plaza on[protected]T00:39:26.

3) debited for Rs. 65 for transaction by Vehicle MH47Q0339 at Toll IRB Charoti on[protected]T01:17:37.

4) debited for Rs. 40 for transaction by Vehicle MH47Q0339 at Toll Dahisar on[protected]T01:41:56.

5) debited for Rs. 75 for transaction by Vehicle MH47Q0339 at Toll IRB Bhagwada on[protected]T02:05:23.

If you would see item no 4 i.e. Dahisar toll debit at 01:41:56 is wrong as at that time I was travelling between Charoti and Bhagwada Toll. My car No is MH-47-Q-0339. I request to refund the amount debited wrongly.

It's strange but true.

I happened to pass through Dahisar Toll Plaza today at 2.17 p.m.and they swiped Rs.40 off my account.

What is strange is in just 4 minutes from then another message pops up ... stating Rs.40 is deducted from the same place. Here is the message 👇🏻

This is something that needs to be thought about. What kind of a system is this ??
And if it's happening with many then am sure we are smart enough to understand what's the collection that's been received by them for no reason.

1stly we don't need a toll at such a busy place, it's the biggest inconvenience to daily commuters, plus time waste, fuel waste and the roads are in super bad condition, apart from that metro work is also getting disturbed due to that

2ndly why would you raise the fees from 20 to 40 rupees without providing any kind of service, no lanes are divided, it can be a biggest cause of minor accident which can damage the individuals vehicle, who's responsible for that, the road is on pot hole.
Ambulance and other services are getting late due to that, it's a very big concern and I would request to close the toll tax with immediate effect, public can file complaint in consumer court as well because we are paying for it .

Today while returning from Virar to Borivali I have experienced a Massive Traffic Jam of 51 minutes started from Daras Dhaba Upto Dahisar Toll. There was no traffic Cops aligning the traffic. Toll Management was typically busy in collecting the toll completely ignoring the fact that the Jam has gone upto 2 kms.
This has become a routine at Dahisar Toll.
Either Stop the Toll to free up the traffic movement or make alternative arrangements to ease the weather traffic

As per traffic rules if traffic is more than 100 mtrs than toll nakas should release the vehicles immediately without collecting tolls but the same is not happening.

As they are illegally charging money against the rules.
Even after heavy traffic they have charged toll which is wrong against rules.
And I have heard the toll naka is scrapped in 2014 then why they are still not closed and why they are charging money illegally.
Please shut down this toll naka it will be good for all people travelling.

My car no is MH 04 FR 382 and i having monthly pass of Dahisar toll naka plus i have fasttag for my out of mumbai tours.

Today on 10 th march i got a message in the afternoon that my fast tag is debited with 40/- inspite of i am having monthly pass openly deployed on my wind shield . I know this is purposely done to extract unauthorised money frim the car owners as it is very difficult to find such transactions.

On 24/02/2021 while crossing Dahisar Toll from Mumbai to Mira Road, I asked to scan Fastag for toll. Person scanned and said that their is no balance in my Fastag account and asked to pay by cash. I paid the cash through transcation number [protected] via lane no. L01. At the same time I gat message from HDFC for deducting Rs. 40/- .
This means they have collected toll for 2 times for single journey.
I can produce Toll receipt and SMS from bank as a proof.

On 24/02/2021passing through Dahisat toll towards Miraroad, asked to deduct toll through fastag. Person with hand held instrument scanned Fastag and told that their is no enough balance in my account and to pay by cash. I paid the cast by transaction number [protected] through lane number L01 and HAPPY JOURNEY at the end of receipt.
I also got message on my mobile about deduction of Rs. 40/- through HDFC.
This means your instrument is faulty, or your person is telling lies, or you have got a method to collect maximum toll.
Please guide me if any way is available to get refund.
I can produce toll receipt as well as SMS from HDFC.

It is surprising that Mumbai being a financial city, and does basic infrastructure. every day there is a traffic Jam at Dahisar toll naka because it does not have Fastag working. and even after several complain from many commuters government does not seem to bother.

I request authorities to look into smooth functioning of dahisar toll naka. It causes lot of inconvenience to travellers . It's a big reason for traffic jam. A lot of time is wasted.
Also fastag can be implemented which can save time

Please close that toll since its to muvh traffic fue to that and also roads are not repairs so why tolls are paid

I need to complain about this. Ive been reading everywhere about fastags becoming compulsory. To my amuse, i just drove past the dahisar toll naka and when i pointed out at my fastag sticker they says that it doesnt work here. When i asked them isnt it compulsory? They dint answer. Again when i asked them they answered sayin its only compaulsory at national highways and not here. Rubbish excuse was provided. One of the major toll naka thats always creating a nuisance and they dnt have a fastag. All mawalis working there, instead of being people centric they are worst. Im sure they are making much more moeny than they shud. And who gives them permission to extend the toll booth. This is a radar for fraud and nuisance and still nothings been done. Just hope and pray that the dahisar check naka closes at the soonest. The check naka is a complete nuisance to everyone and i strongly believe the local corporators should close it and provide some relief to the people traveling daily town side. I don't even know what is the money collected used for, the roads are as pathetic and so is the traffic.

This exemption is applicable at all toll plazas on all the highways operated by the national highways authority of india. Please note that the toll tax exemption is valid only for the vehicles modified for the use by a disabled person. Section 2 (18) of the motor vehicle act, 1988, defines such vehicles as “invalid carriage”. So, your vehicle’s rc must show the vehicle registered under the invalid carriage category.

But sadly your officials manning the dahisar toll plaza, keep harassing and demanding toll from differently abled drivers who drive specially designed vehicles, as they are is not are updated about this and state that is not it updated in their records or rule (Gr) book, although this road falls under the road transport and highways ministry of india

Secondly some of these officials keep passing rude remarks or jokes on seeing a differently abled driver which is quite unacceptable, infact if this continues further i may be forced to take the legal course of action seeking a hefty compensation.

Why you people are sucking our blood by unnecessarily collecting toll from us?
For what reason you are collecting it? As we never use flyover yes we use road way but whats its condition? Everywhere there are potholes! Why don't you give us any discount such as one way toll or minimum charge on confirming address through aadhar card or driving licne?

It has been observed that people at the dahisar toll naka while collecting or giving money to ladies try their best to touch the female. Touching the hand while taking the note or pressing the money into your hand while returning. Today one of the person returning me money actually put his hand into elbow level inside my car. This feels very weird to complaint again n again where no one is interested to solve people issue. Today while entering Mumbai, as usual we faced huge traffic jam at Dahisar toll. When we approached toll booth and told that we were beyond yellow line. The toll employees started arguing by saying the traffic is not becoz of toll but becoz of Octroi naka. Its ridiculous and unethical the way they tried to put blame Octroi naka when the actual traffic was held due to toll booth. Tejas bhadre is the emplyee name. What is the point of makeing yellow line rule if its not getting followed. Please take action such employees.its shamefull to face such jam and face such employees everytime while entering mumbai.

I am staying at bhayander and everyday we are facing huge traffic jam at dahisar toll naka. Nowadays due to rain all roads are in pathetic situation and full of pot halls and still these people taking toll charges. This is really not acceptable.

Today when we raise our voice against this, all the toll collection people fight with us and put barrel in front of our car. They fearlessly said 'kisi ko b leke aao hum nahi darte and sare minister bhi aake chale gye khuch nhi kr shakte'.

Please do something, its really high time to take against this dahisar toll naka. During peak hours situation get worst. Normal people now really fed up.

This is to inform to the government bodies like municipal corporation to look into the matter of Traffic Jam at Dahisar Toll Naka.
This has become a night mare for office going people and other living in the vicinity of Mira Road , and Kashimira locations.

The Mira Road , Kashimira locations are becoming residential HUB and soon will become next Mumbai due to the rapid progress of Building construction.Due to this the population is increasing , the private vehicles and public transport buses are increasing . People are suffering a lot due to the traffic Jams.Office goers , School children , College students and many others are facing this problem due to the Toll Naka.The traffic comes to halt at the toll naka and the making a huge line of vehicles on theWestern Express Highway.

This causes lot of frustration and time waste and money waste.

Municipal corporation and government bodies should look into this at the earliest and resolve the issue so that the traffic movement is smooth and easy.
