I have ordered two gowns against which i have received a very cheap saree.
I have paid rs.1180 cash on delivery which needs to be refunded back. The company contact number is not reachable and also the website seems to have issues. The courier receipt has specified the return address as below :
Ph [protected] b-32 silver plaza, vanmali road, l. H. Road, surat, gujrat - 394101.

I had ordered saree from facebook page "desertvila", they also have website, but it is fake, they don't have workable email address or phone no. Address is from california, but parcel had address from surat.
Item indicated had description of "designer saree pack of 3", price of rs. 999. When i sent message to this page, i received auto reply, stating 14 days returns and cash on delivery is available.
I chose cash on delivery for this order.
They shipped the product with courier company "delhivery", courier boy sandeep dhage [protected], tracking id[protected], boy handed over light weight package and asked to give him cash rs. 1178. When i asked him to wait, until i open the package, he said that's not possible. We must pay him cash and call him in 2 hours, if we want this product to be returned. I handed over cash to him. As soon as i opened package, it had only 1 saree, very low grade. I tried calling sandeep dhage 3 or 4 times, he didn't answer my call. When i called him from my husband's number, he answered. I told him to collect this product, he said i need to contact desertvila to arrange return, which is different from his initial words. As desertvila doesn't have any reachable communication model, i conclude it as a fraud company. Email to address mentioned on website are unreachable, phone no. Is fake, address is from california.

Number [protected] is also fake, it has auto forward to another number which is always not reachable.

I also sent complaint by email to courier company delhivery, they provided as following shipper details, which are contradictory to address mentioned:-

When i tried calling one of these numbers, guy said he's commissioner of police, threatening further so that i don't complain him anything.

I am requesting consumer forum to help with collection of rs. 1178 from fraud company desertvila.

Worst service in your website...dont purchase in this website ..its a cheating ..
i have purchase saree for rupees 700... but the saree worth is not even 100 rs ... please dont waste money in this website...
dont believe this kind of website and dont waste money by purchasing in this kind of website...it totally waste of time and money ...
please kindly help me to get amount from this website ... please help immediatly... and help me to deal with this kind of website ..
