Dharitri Infraventure Complaints & Reviews

Dear sir/madam,

Greetings. This is to humbly inform you that in the beginning of 2018 my wife mrs priyanka goswami and myself booked a flat in the universia project of dharitri infraventure pvt ltd. The allotment letter (Attached) dated 1/2/2018 was handed over to us and in the process we paid the initial down payment worth rs 1, 61, 000/- which was 10 % of the total cost of the flat. This amount was payed via cheques and the said money was debited from my account on 1/2/2018 itself.
However, in the next one and half years whenever we contacted dharitri infraventure we were told that the project is delayed due to panchayat election, land mutation issues etc and during that time we were getting repeated phone calls from the organization regarding payment of another 10 %. Due to the unacceptable delay in the above-mentioned project and also due to absolute lack of clarity regarding the status and progress of work my wife mrs priyanka goswami visited their office in salt late sector 5 and at that time it was communicated to us that the project is stalled due to land related issues. Hence my wife decided to request for a refund from them organization and filled up the required form (Please find attached).

However, i came to know that dharitri is going to repay the amount after 6 months. Also, i came to know there will be a deduction of 5 %. Kindly note that the money was invested for a particular purpose which is to purchase a property for our future and the project was stalled for reasons which we are not responsible for. So the deduction of 5 % and taking 6 months to refund the money is pretty unfair to us.
I would also like to emphasize that forr a span of 21 months this money is with dharitri infraventure and the purpose of the said investment is not fulfilled. During this period my wife availed 80 % of the property price as loan for which she had to pay regular emi and also had to pay a significant amount as personal tax. Due to the stalling of this project due to lack of proper permission/land related issues, which we were never informed by dharitri infraventure, we have suffered significant financial loss. By deferring the payment/refund of this sum we are suffering for unknown reasons which we are not responsible for in any way.
Based on the multiple complaints i noted in your website i can sense that they have duped us and may not even pay the money if we don't follow proper legal course of action. How can an organization hold 5 % of the advance payment and also hold on to the money when they already communicated that the project is stalled? Is it legal to hold on to the money and deferring payment by 6 months?
I request you to help me and my family regarding this matter so that we can get back our hard earned money which is important for our future and well being.

I had applied at dharitri infraventure for the post of digital marketing manager on the 22nd of november, 2018. The career prospect and salary offered to me was much better than my present company. My application was selected among a number of other candidates. I went to dharitri infraventure as a potential candidate for digital marketing. I had mentioned in my cv about my physical disability. I have never tried to suppress any fact pertaining to my physical shortcomings.
But i had to face a rather dismal & disappointing experience at the hands of their management. Their office is located at salt lake sector v dn-51 merlin infinite towers suite 805. As i was filling out the application/candidate form their management said that "we do not entertain handicapped person so you can leave our office". This was the most insulting & discriminating behavior i have ever encountered.
