Dr. Annapurna Pathak Complaints & Reviews

One would be highly unfortunate to come across a doctor like her during the most beautiful phase of ones life (Pregnancy). She is highly unprofessional and passes very personal remarks in her interactions with the patient. Every single time i would share my condition with her (She being my doc), she would rebuke and blame me for the same, saying that now a days girls don’t know how to be a mother, scaring me by giving all the negative possibilities...

My wife was pregnant (our first child) for 8 months 2 weeks (2nd week of Jan 2018) and then this unprofessional Doctor Annapurna Pathak backs out at the last minute saying that she has to visit a relative's marriage in another state and she will not be available for the delivery which was due in 2 weeks. She could have planned this together months earlier, however, she ditched us at the very last minute and told us that she will refer another doctor. During 8th month 3rd week (3rd week of Jan 2018) she forcefully made my wife get admitted to the hospital on Jan 16, 2018 (4 days before her journey to the other state) by making a normal white discharge sound like a big complication, then we got stuck at the hospital. My wife experienced no pain and told the doctor that we wanted a normal delivery, but Dr. Annapurna insisted on Caesarian just because she wanted to leave the town for her relative's marriage. She shouted every single time (very rudely) at my wife whenever she came to see her at the hospital for check up and made her cry so many times, didn't diagnose properly, didn't even let the nurse give any food to my wife from dawn to dusk (just because she was aiming at C Section). The RMO (Hospital doctor) told my wife that we should wait and things are in favor of normal delivery, C section is not required. My wife was harassed and shattered and we had to go for C Section. Moreover, she gave general anasthesia instead of spinal anesthesia for no reason or rhyme which was very shocking. Dr. Annapurna Pathak has also passed personal remarks and has been extremely unprofessional and rude towards my wife.
She just wanted to trick us into this before her journey so that she can earn money. I would highly urge any lady NOT to go to her for any treatment as she is capable of tricking people into her unethical direction leading to helpless situations.
