2days Not give current supply to give kattupakkam ,Indra nagar.
Hi sir/madam, I am in kattupakkam Indra nagar. The 3rd Dec 2023 on 8pm the current supply was stopped because of cyclone. It's ok but now 5th Dec 6pm now also not give the current supply for our area and we are all suffering for without current. No water to use bathroom also if you give current then only use motter and electronic gadgets. Plz take action.

Monthly three time fuse fault coming in my home.i have ready to fuse with used private person and spent money monthly around 600 rs it is compared over cost for my Current bill.i want kow that why not happened maintance work from EB line from our Panchayat board.This related complaint given Panchayat President but do not take action...

Repeated power cut problems

I'm from Nadar Uvari, radhapuram taluk, Tirunelveli district 627651, yesterday (24/06/2022) and today (25/06/2022) repeatedly power off and on, off and on..it is continuously repeated..what is the problem of EB, and uvari EB helper pandi கமிஷன் கேக்குறாங்க. Government salary வாங்குறாங்க. அப்புறமென்ன கமிஷன்.இங்கு எதாவது கரண்ட் problem என்றால் power cut பண்றாங்க ok.சரி செய்த பிறகு ஒரு முறை அல்லது இரண்டு முறை check பண்ணலாம்.ஆனால் இவர்கள் பத்து முறைக்கு மேல் on and off பண்றாங்க. விளையாடுகின்றனர்.so please action it

Eb Reading
Last reading they taken on August after that my reading is not taking by them and the amount is also not reflecting in online. Every time I am going to TNEB office and pay the bill with fine. I am in flat and few of the people in my flat having the same issue. Every time they are telling some story for not generating bill. So I am paying late fee because of their negligence. Even Engineer is not ready to take up my complaint. please help me to get my EB bill automatically not like going to office multiple time personally to upload my reading details. My TNEB office is Karayanchavadi, Chennai - 56.

Wire sagging and passing my compound wall

My residence in 52 - A, 21st street, Ambal Nagar, Keelkattalai 600117 has been with problems with the EB wire passing over our compound wall sagging and causing threat.I have informed regarding the same in EB office.But they are irresponsible and their behavior is rude.I just told them to change the angle and keep the wire away from out building but they are not listening to it and I am on the way of construction and wasting my time just because of this issue.
Please find the above details to rectify the same without any threat for household members.

Hi, I was embarrassed to pay my EB bill today.
I am residing in Madipakkam, Only for 680 Units they have charged 2875 rupees. Very Scaring, to use electronic equipment. Government is doing nothing just snatching money from us, more over this amount is paid even after the power cut. We are bearers from both the sides, one side due to power cut we are unable to complete our work on time the source by which we are earning and the from the other side the bill even after this very less time current consumption is very huge money that we are ought to pay. I don't know why people are quiet, accepting every demand from Govt. Please do take some action against all these politics.... We need to change the Govt. We must bring in New generation that are well sculpted with all the basics from a normal middle class life. We vote to bring in Govt. for taking care of our state but never we thought of this exploitation which is happening every year and years on years it has been the same up to my knowledge since past 20 years. Wake up people....

we are staying in Pallikaranai Jeeva nagar 3rd street, we are facing low voltages at night time.Since the transformer is Old which was given for 40 homes but now there are currently more houses. Need new transformer for our area to overcome the voltage drops Kindly do the needful

we are staying in thiruneer malai road, west tambaram, chennai-600045 for past 30 years . from day one we are facing low voltage especially in summer. very difficult for old age peoples. when we conduct AE no respone. Need new transformer for our area. pls do the needful

Frequent Power cuts

There is frequent power cuts happening during both day and night time in Pallikarani area for the past 1 week. The time of power cut seem to be consistent every day (for about 3 hours at night) and when we call the EB complaint number - 133555, we hear the same issue (Its because of trip and power will be back in another 15 mins). They also don't log the complaint and are asking us to contact the AE in person. I don't know what is the purpose of the complaint number then. 3 hours power cut every night is absurd.

Ramapuram - EB complaint

we are staying in Venkateswara nagar, 12th cross street ,ramapuram,chennai-89
for past 2 months we are facing low voltage especially in summer.
very difficult for old age peoples and we find that we are getting only 135-150 volts and the electronics items like fridge,AC are not running. we are very surprised that the EB
department are giving proper voltage for the VIP Areas and houses. So please act on this complaint immediately or if they need any (extra amount or commision) to do their work properly we are ready to pay.

When ever I try the EB number of Kelly's area its engaged. I think they will simply put off the phone it seems. Kindly take necessary action.If any earlier steps to our problem would be greatly appreciated.

sir last few day in over street the power is shut down, timings 6.30to 12 midnight, an it will esxtend to early mornigs.to now also power cut in my street. steet name is periya malayappan street, royapettha, chennai-14.sir pleace take nessary action and slove the problam.if phone to over exchange the dinot pick up the phone.

I live in Pallikaranai, Athipuriswarar kovil street. Most of the people in Pallikaranai are not happy about the activities of the employees of Pallikaranai EB office.
They are not taking meter reading in time. If we ask them to update the meter reading they are not doing it. They ask us to pay the Previous month reading amount. Its a kind of burden to us. since we need to pay bulk amount in the next month. This is happening frequently to us.
And we are facing low voltage problem too. very difficult for children and old age peoples. Need new transformer for our area. please do the needful

Am Muthu and working in private sector, am really very fedup for Pallikaranai EB Issues.
Daily in night time it takes two hours shutdown, I don't understand mainly parents & children are going to take very deep sleep in night time only. But this condition they affected a lots & lots even me & my child also... Please be initimate if any work is going to happen.
Really people are not satisfy Pallikaranai EB working functionality.
Please correct ASAP.

There is no probe response from EB office pallikaranai

Most of the people from Pallikarani are facing following problem in EB office:
1. Most of the time they are not taking meter reading
2. If we go and ask them to update reading also no update
3. if we know any one in eb office you can easily pay bill
4. who is sitting in billing section, taking too much time(taking minimum 10 mins for each customer)
5. one of the eb employee had drinks during office hours and slept in office
These activities will not give value to government officials instead people will ignore one day. Please do the needful

I am residing at 17-D, Teachers Colony Adyar. There is frequent power cut in my Flat, though all other flats in my apartment have power. We have registered so many complaints in person and through phone also.
Specifically on[protected], we faced the same power cut issue and made a complaint in person (complaint No #19) and through phone also. But for more than 4 Hrs we did not get any resolution. While I went back to check in person, the staff who notes complaints is found drunken and behaved unethically. I made a call to the area Assistant Engineer Mrs Pushpavali regarding this issue. But did not get any responsive answer from her also.
I request you to take necessary action or let me know the proper channel for suing a case officially.

we are staying in thiruneer malai road, west tambaram, chennai 600045 for past 30 years . from day one we are facing low voltage especially in summer. very difficult for old age peoples. when we conduct AE no respone. Need new transformer for our area. pls do the needful

we the people living in chennai pallikaranai(kamma kodi nagar).here more power cut during day n night time.iam being a student unable to study n sleep in night time.here many students n peoples suffer this problem.even calls not attended by local EB office.so plz file this compliant and do us flavour....

Low Voltage and frequent power drops
Staying in the puthagaram (Sri venkateshwara Nagar )area of kolathur nearby lakshmi puram, here our area have facing frequent power fluctuation and voltage drops in the night time very badly compared to earlier days, since we are facing the issue in months ago, the problem has reported to AE of the that area office but still the issue needs to be addressed.
We have been told that there is not enough power feed from main substation and number of residents got increased day by day and that was the reason for voltage drop, If any earlier steps to our problem would be greatly appreciated.

their is a frequent voltage drop in my area. this is happening because of frequent power theft in our area.Near my area my neighbours are stealing the power.so voltage drop series in our area regularly.
i humbly request you to take severe actions on those who stealing power in our area.

EB charges are doubling for the past few months, the reason behind is EB meter speed running / voluntarily charging more amount.
Ours consumption o[censored]sage is very less just 2 fans, fridge, tube lights, and rarely using mixi, before the EB bill comes around 600-700 rupees, last two months back it was Rs.1500/- subsequntly paying two times, some moths they EB reader entry person not entered and once we aproached the EB they entered around Rs.1500/- and last month they entered is 2888/- it is unbeliveable amount. and the power goes off twice a day night times.
will the EB higher officials take proper action and know the reason behind.we are suffering lot due to the mistake done from the EB end.
hope may get proper response at earliest

I am form tuticorin buckle puram area some of 8 houses got power cutt frequently thrice in a day. if we complained they never take action. they came after 10 hours, throughtout the night the power supply be cutt off. when the mp's office get started in our area power theft also get started. please do the needful

EB — Power failure
i am staying at maduravoyil krishna nagar, we were experiencing continous power cut daily upto 6-10 hrs especially in night time and this was happening here for past one month. we all here request EB to make an attention to this problem and resolve this issue ASAP. Daily power failure occuring in thamaraipakkam koot road.

During night times there is a frequent powercut in bhuvanewari nagar, selaiyur, when we tried to contact over phone no one is picking up as if they are very .. very ... very .. busy. here power is cutting more than two hours.. 12 to 3... because of this we are lossing lot of money... jalakandapuram, salem dt... please take some step for this problem...
