Checked in baggage - delayed

My name is Mohamed Asif. I travelled Doha-Dubai (EK844), Dubai-Bangalore (EK568) on Emirates Airlines on 4th December 2008. Arrived Bangalore on the 5th December. I had a checked in baggage with me from Doha. I didn't receive this baggage in Bangalore. One Emirates employee Mr. Globy was there at the airport, and told me to raise a complaint (PIR) and I did so. It was early morning around 4:00 am on the 5th December. Mr. Globy had verbally assured me that he would be in touch with me with regard to the missing baggage till it is delivered at my door in Kerala (around 500 kms from Bangalore). He had shown me two telephone numbers on the PIR to follow up the matter.
Now it is 6:20 pm 8th December 2008, 87 hours since I landed in India, I have not received my baggage.
I started calling the numbers on the PIR since 6:00 a.m on the 6th December, and the stock reply I used to get from the personnel attending this call was that "sir the baggage is being traced, we are not Emirates staff, we are just handlers...". On the 6th evening I used my overseas contacts and within half an hour of passing the information, my baggage was traced in Dubai and was sent to Bangalore by the next flight, which I believe, arrived Bangalore in the early hours on the 7th December.
The handling staff at Bangalore was not aware of this till I called them around 7:00 am on the 7th. When they came to know about the arrival of my baggage, they told me that the baggage would be sent to Calicut Airport (my nearest airport) by noon on the 7th (these knowledgable people were not aware that there is no flight to Calicut from Bangalore) after the formalities. Mr. Globy's assurance was that the baggage would be delivered to my home.
When I followed up this in the afternoon on the 7th their reply was that there is an issue with the customs, and once it is cleared they would send back the baggage to Dubai by EK569 instead of sending it to Calicut as there are no flights to Calicut from Bangalore, and will subsequently be sent to Calicut from Dubai by EK562, and I should collect it from there. They had given me the new tag number as well.
Now they have stopped answering my phone calls, so that I had to use some different numbers to get in touch with them. In the meantime, I received a call from the agent asking me to send an email to a Bangalore address addressed to the Asst. Commissioner of Customs, to release the baggage from the customs.
In brief, I am still to get the baggage.
This, of course, constitutes breach of contract and deficiency in service, which I shall have to bring before a Consumer Forum in Kerala to get remedy.

cabin crew
On the 8-9th of September, my mother and I were travelling Emirates from Dubai to Seychelles. The cabin crew superviser, a lebanese, came upto us and said that he is going to have to make a report about us telling the air-steward to clear our food trays while the crew was still serving. Nothing like that happened. Yes, I did request a steward to clear our dishes and he told me to wait a while because they were still serving. I said ok. Nothing else happened and out of the blue, this guy, the supervisor, came upto us and started insulting us. His parting words were, "I am done with you." Both my Mother and I had tears in our eyes. Please investigate this matter,

Ccomplaint about Emirates
Below mention complain is sended to emirates via e-mail on there customer care offices in new york and regular e-mail address given on there website on march 3 and 5 2008 respectfully, but no action has been taken yet.kindly look into the matter.

Reference : OUR TRIP THRU FLIGHT NO. EK511 (DEL-DXB) CONNECTING WITH EK203(DXB-JFK)
I JAGWINDER SINGH SAWHNEY, my wife, GURPREETA KAUR SAWHNEY, my 6 yrs. son RISHIPAL SINGH SAWHNEY & my infant daughter MANNOOR KAUR SAWHNEY had travelled in the above flight on 28th feb and 29 feb 2008 respectively.
1. first and foremost i would like to bring to your kind notice that we had reached to dubai in flight EK 511 on 28th feb, 2008 afternoon and we were to take the connecting flight from dubai to new york (jfk) at 2.00 a.m. 29th Feb, 2008 in EK203. When we had booked the ticket we had been told as we are having the more than 4 hrs. hault in dubai we will get a hotel facility for rest and food will be served there. but when we reached we had been clearly refused for the services only food coupons had been give on our boarding passes. Even after my wife had requested as i had a suspected angina pain due to restlessness no help had been rendered towards us by EMIRATES staff in dubai airport somehow my wife took me to airport medical center herself and i had been admitted their for 4 hrs and all tests like ECG, BP and more had been done their. then my wife decided and we took a room in DUBAI INTERNATIONAL HOTEL in the airport itself.
2. We had clearly given a request for INDIAN NON-VEG meal(same has been confirmed on your indian emirates customer helpline on 20/02/2008)ur both the flights, when we were travelling in EK 203 to JFK in our first meal he had been served BEAF which was a BLUNDER and this had hurt our religion, when we had asked the cabin crew staff the lady had clearly told that this is the only food we should be eaten if they will be having any food extra with them then only they will change the same, unfortunately they were not changed the food and my wife and my self slept without food in the flightl. Even when my infant baby was thirsty we had asked for a glass of water before 45 minutes of landing of the flight the crew staff had told us that they even did not have water anymore to serve and at the same time they had served juice to a english couples son. The cabin crew staff of 203 was very un-courteous and rude they do not know how to talk even they were behaving as if we are
traveling in flight on their sympathy. In the flight so much of partiality been done as our children were hungry and we had been asked for some chicken burger and juice and they clearly refused and in front o[censored]s they had served the same to ARABIAN AND ENGLISH PASSENGERS FOR THEIR CHILDREN AND FOR THEMSELVES.
I WANT TO ASK WHAT KIND OF CONCERN AND SERVICE IS BEING RENDERED BY AIRLINE TO THEIR TRAVELLERS EVEN AFTER THEY HAVE BEEN TRAVELLING WITH THEIR SAME AIRLINE, IT IS REALLY SHAMEFUL FOR SUCH A ESTEEM AIRLINE FOR THEIR COURTEOUS SERVICE WHICH THEY CLAIM THE RENDERED TO THEIR PASSENGERS. IT WAS REALLY PAINFULL AT THAT TIME FOR US WHEN OUR CHILDEREN WERE SITTING WITHOUT FOOD IN SUCH A LONG JOURNEY AND OTHERS WERE ENJOYING BECAUSE THEY WERE ARABIANS AND ENGLISH AND WE WERE INDIANS. I AM SURPRISED TO SEE THE SERVICES OF SUCH A ESTEEM AIRLINE.
EIRLIER MY VIEWS FOR THIS AIRLINE WAS THAT THIS IS THE BEST AIRLINE WE HAD EVER TRAVELLED IN, BUT I AM SORRY TO SAY THAT THE STAFF OF THIS AIRLINE SERVE BETTER TO WHITE COLOUR PEOPLE OR THE PEOPLE OF THEIR OWN COUNTRY, THIS FLIGHT IS MEANT FOR ONLY ENGLISH AND ARABIANS. AS WE ARE HAVING OUR RETURN TICKETS ALSO IN THIS AIRLINE I THINK WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO TRAVEL IN SUCH A FLIGHT WHERE COURTSEY BEEN GIVEN ONLY ON PAPERS.
Now we will take up this matter legally and forward you the further correspondence through our legal counsultant soon.
Kindly see that no body should be harrassed like they way me and my family has been harrassed mentally ad physically too.
As we are in USA for some months we will be contacted for further correspondence or reply in usa.

This was my business trip to Malta for a conference. The hotel, meetings and conference fees were booked about a month back. My tickets were issued on Emirates from Bangalore to Dubai then Dubai to Malta. My Bangalore flight was to leave at 4.15 am but unfortunately due to bad weather it got delayed by 1 to 11/2 hr. This was something expected from any airlines, which I can understand. My connecting flight had 2 hrs gap, so I informed the Airhostess to inform my connecting flight accordingly. The Airhostess told me that since the connecting flight is Emirates they will definitely wait. Although, I had a boarding pass issued I was worried about missing the flight. My flight landed at 7.40 am and my connecting flight was at 8.15 am. I went running, did my checking and I was at the counter at around 8.14am. The flight was there. I showed my boarding pass and they shocked me by saying that the flight is full. I told them that there is no connecting flight for Malta on that day and I will be missing all 11 business meetings. This will be a big loss for our company and I have to go to Malta. Instead they said that I came in late and I don't have any rights to scream. This annoyed me as I did not reach late it was their Emirates flight which got delayed. I told them that I will sue them for this behaviour. They said that I can sue but they will not take me in the flight. I was holding the flight for 15 mins but they told me to go to the transfer office and then the flight took off.

I am one of the Emirates victim.This month flewn from Singapore by Emirates 405 Singapore Dubai, Dubai to Germany by Emirates 59. To fly with only beautiful Uniform is not good enough.The service
from the Crew was extremely bad, served expired food on board, short of crossant on board. It would be nice if Emirates Management look into it before its too late.The flight smells.I paid so much just to fly, i dont expect to fly in the dirty cabin. I am too dissappointed to have this kind of service in the international
level.I have read lots of comments which the Management did not responded.You dont have to respond my mail, just read and streghten the level of your bad service, that is good enough.

Emirates does not have any customer service details or contact details for consumer complain on their website. Will you beleive this...

i was flaying with my family from jnb to khi on 30th of march with ek762 and my next flight was ek604 for khi and i had my ticket from khi to lhr at 08.00am with air blue ed402 reservation no GRSFCACK but ek762 delayed us and we miss our next flight ek604 for khi and also we lost our air ticket becouse of emirates and we wait so long at dubai airport with small children and our all plan was disturb becouse we was going to lhr attend the weeding after reach khi after long time we waited again for babby troly emirates send the troly wiyh next flight not with our flight which i booked from jhb to jhi than i bought new PIA ticket for lhr at 03.00pm and payed again around 20000.00 ruppees and my children also sick
Emirates — Always make us wait for vehicle in Dubai
Every year at least five times I travel by emirates.last two years when i arrive Dubai iam asked to wait for vehicle to the hotel.MInimum half an hour iam forced to wait.After a tiring journey being a lady waiting so long is a big punishment.I request the authority to inform the staff who is in charge to solve this problem.
