We bought home security system comprising of two motion sensors, 3 door sensors, a keypad and a hooter. It's been more than 2 months since we made full payment and requesting for installation. First few weeks, the sales guy said he has ordered for the material, which is yet to come. Then he said, the sensors were broken while transportation. Finally he delivered something and when installed mother borad is not working. Still it's not installed. The sales guys are so irresponsible once the payment is done. Till the payment was done, he was behind our back. We had to follow up calling him again and again to get the appointment for installation, but nobody turned up on that day.
Really pissed off with the service.

I've purchased recently (installed about 3months back) Eurovigil's "door video phone" security system apart from door lock and cc tv's (7 numbers). The "door video phone units are malfunctioning and for the past 2 weeks I have been calling their call center several times but still no action has been taken -
1st complaint number given - not recorded

Dear Sir,
It is a well-known fact that irrespective of the country, all human beings believe in God. Hence, when you contact people at places of worship, they start believing that it is a good omen and mostly accept proposals. A beautiful sales strategy adopted by The Chennai based marketing group does this and once they bag a contract and hand it over to the implementation (installation) group, they think that their job is over. HOW LONG THIS STRATEGY WILL WORK AND HOW DO YOU EXPECT YOU CAN REACH CUSTOMER SATISFACTION?
The above is not a storey but reality. When I was at a worshiping place, EUROVIGIL Chennai based sales agent, Shri R.BalagI Territory Executive, met me and briefed about all the products on[protected]. I was also in need of a specific system considering my age and health. I am 66+ years old and my wife is 61+ age. I am a retired Senior Executive from Bharat Petroleum Corporation and well aware of the quality of Honeywell products. We are living in a first floor of our house and every time for the visitors we have to come down and open the door-lock in the ground floor. Hence I enquired about the electrical lock which can be operated from the first floor of the hose without coming down, and he said, it can be installed in our house. When I was told that the products are from HONEYWELL then I gave an appointment for the very next day.
He with his immediate superior Shri S. Karthikeyan visited my house and discussed on various possibilities. As a sales person, apart from my immediate requirement, they also suggested other security systems. I PLACED AN ORDER FOR ABOT Rs. 50000/- (US $1000). The payment clause was that 50% payment immediate and 50% on delivery of components. Accordingly they took they took the entire amount in just two days[protected] &[protected]
Then the question of installation whose baby it is? I had to follow up every day and each day I used to get a new excuse. They even started not attending mobile calls. I started sending SMS. Since they did not have alternatives, they started giving one or other SMS excuse. To my surprise, the territory executive Shri Balag sent an SMS that he had resigned.
Now, I have left with the alternative of contacting Shri Karthikeyan. I was told that he is the head of Chennai Operations. He had extended the dates more than ten times and now he has come to the extent of returning the money for the component which is yet to be installed and which is my immediate and most important requirement. Does senior executives of your company book orders without knowing the limitations/availability of the products and their capabilities?
I am surprised and after giving as many extensions as possible I am writing this with a heavy heart. Really I am questioning your organization whether is it the way to treat senior citizens. Till today I might have spent at least 50 telephone calls and 50 SMS. Who is going to pay me the cost as well as compensate for the peace of mind I have lost in addition to the 1000$ I had spent?
Eurovigl’s new Sales executives continue to haunt the religious place and last week[protected] I met Shri Karmegam & Shri Antoney and sent a message through them to Shri Karthikeyan. But I am yet to get a message from him.
Shri Karthikeyan gave me a dead line as August 31, 2012 but till today, it is September 11, 2012 and not even a telephone call. This is the Chief Executive style of operation of EURVIGIL.
I hope that the incomplete job will be completed at the earliest and give peace of mind to me.

1. Is Eureka is also an inefficient organization? Collect the money and l let the customer suffer? After getting the amount leave the customer in lurch?
2. Does Honeywell close their eyes and just collaborate with in-efficient organizations and does not bother about their image.
I hope and wish that you will do the needful to meet my immediate requirement or cancellation of the order and return the full contract value. There should not be any situation of not meeting my requirement for which I contacted the above said people.

DEFECTIVE MATERIAL

This is to inform you that I purchased one unit of Eurovigil security system from your company by paying a cheque of Syndicate bank,Shyambazar Branch, No. 490852 dated 28.07.09 amounting Rs. 10,865/-(Rs.Ten thousand Eight hundred Sixty Five only).
As this commodity is defective since installation this is not working properly. I informed your representative repeatedly. After observing your representatives masterly inactivity I booked complaints though your service phone (Complaint No. 82245472, dt 05.12.09, Complaint No. 82403420,dt 10.01.10). But no action has been taken.
I wish to draw your kind attention in this regard and requesting you to replace/repair this material to make it functional.
Hope you will take an urgent measure within four weeks of receipt of this letter so that I will not be forced to appeal to appropriate authority to redress my grievances.

I too have a similar problem where the Eurovigil system hasn't worked for even a month properly after installing it about 10 months back

I purchased Euro Vigil door phone one month back. It took them one month to install the system. Installation is so shabby that wire is hanging from the pillar where door camera is installed. Their marketing manager Mr Manoj Saxena tried to justify the shabby Installation. He was in no mood to give a solution to my problem. He insisted that this is the best quality of the Installation that Eureka Forbes can provide. Now I am not sure if I will get the Security for which the system was purchased from them. Photo of the Installation is not getting attached, but is with me as proof
I had installed a Security alarm system on 18.04.2015, by paying Rs.37, 390/-(Rupees Thirty seven Thousand Three Hundred and Ninety) it had worked for four months, from August 2015 on wards it is malfunctioning, the complaints are not attended, One technician Mr. Badri came and stated that the system to be replaced afterwards he had not taken any action to replace the same. Whenever I complained about the security alarm system they forward my complaint their water purifier division. During last week of December 2015 one Mr. Manju(technician) came and stated that the system to be replaced, now he is not responding to my calls.
