Franklin Templeton Mutual Fund Complaints & Reviews

Despite various mails and calls, unable to stop Mutual fund SIP and regular deductions are ongoing from my Salary account.
This is going on since January 2023.
They do not allow termination or stoppage of the SIP from the webiste.
They have a button but it is not working .
Have raised the matter to their team, they have acknowledged and send to their back end team but still my money is being deducted.

Franklin Templeton declared IDCW for PRIMA FUND in June 2021. They claim that they have transferred the dividend amount to my bank account but nothing has been transferred. I have sent complaints to their email address but they donot respond. Here are the details:

I have sold all my units from a folio and was supposed to get the amount in bank in 3 working days, but its been more than 10 days, and i have not received amount yet. i tried to contact customer support via call and email, but did not receive any proper response all they are saying is to wait. when i asked for the reason delay they are saying that they dont know.

As advised by you i had submitted following documents for your kind perusal for redemption/transfer of mutual fund account in my favour as legal heir of my deceased wife ms rupa dutta, having account number:[protected]Total-1000 units), way back in sep 2018 in your new delhi branch (Had been following up since 2014). The units were purchased by my wife dr rupa dutta, who has expired. A copy of death certificate is enclosed herewith.
1. Affidavit for transfer of account in my name.
2. Indemnity bond.
3. No objection from my daughter as other alive legal heir.
4. Attestation of signature by our banker.
5. Copy of death certificate of my wife.
6. Pan card copy.
7. Kyc number.
I had requested you to kindly accept redemption request and transfer the mutual fund account to my d-mat number (Icici direct, account number: in[protected][protected]) or redeem and send cheque to my account (Cancelled cheque is enclosed) as per your convenience. However i have not received any information from your office. Kindly peruse my long pending issue and revert back with current status.

Today 31 july 2017, On filling my SIP application for my daughter, for a one year SIP, to her DEMAT account, the office at Dalamal chambers Nariman Point Mumbai 400021, refused to accept the cancelled Delivery instruction slip in original which I attached.
I mentioned that Reliance MF accepts this and HDFC MF does not even ask for and demat documents except what is written in the application.
they kept insisting on the DEMAT MASTER list.
this client Master List is a very important document having all details of the demat holder and if this is misused not only will the demat account be compromised but there could be frauds committed in my daughters bank account as well, as all details of mobile, birth-date, address and other details are listed .
this master list of DEMAT account should be discontinued given the security threats involved with this all these details given.
for all FI statement issued and send by email, due diligence is taken to open the attached email statement which is very good for security reasons.

you are requested not to given you Client Master list and such practice should be discontinued as conducted with HDFC MF.
even they do not wish that investors talk to their seniors to sort this out and therefore I am writing this to bring awareness.

I had opened a debt fund with foliono:21039506 in franklin india on 10th oct with amount of 5 lakh rupees. Due to some transaction limit i had just sent 2lakh ruppes on that day. The amount got credited to them on 11th oct. Boz i was not able to send the whole amount they said they can not allocate any units so they will send my money back to account. I called them 20 times till now but they r not sending the money back to my account. Then on 26th oct they told me they had already sent my money back to my account on 17th oct. They gave me a reference no of city bank and told me to check with my bank why the amount not credited to my account till now. When i checked with idbi bank they said there was no transaction made on that reference number. Then i reverted back to franklin templeton for the same and they are giving me different different complain number each day. Its almost a month now and they are not taking any action on this. I want my amount to be credited to my bank account asap.

I have initiated redemption of funds on 28-Mar-2017 which is yet to be disbursed. (Txn No. FUL4927502)
I have called customer care at least 15 times since then. Today itself I made 7 calls, but nothing, absolutely nothing seems to be moving.

On Aug 1st I purchased Franklin India Taxshield - Direct - Growth Fund worth 135000 Rs. And I have entered my HDFC bank account details while purchasing the mututal fund. And if purchase amount is more than 100000 Rs we have to send via NEFT. (account details where provided by in mail by them after purchase). But in HDFC bank, there are restrictions in transferrign amount to newly added beneficiary. So I have to do two neft transactions....

I redeemed RS 6, 00, 000 on 11 April from Ultra Short Bond Fund - Direct Ac#[protected] but not credited to my bank. When I called on 16, I was told that they used Maheswari instead of my name and it was rejected by the bank. They told me that the error was already noticed and remedial action would be taken on 18th.
Issuing transfer instructions with wrong name is totally unacceptable. The rejection would have been known on 12....

I wish to publish my bitter experience with a renowned American mutual fund company Franklin Templeton, whose chairman’s name appears in the list of billionaire’s club published by Forbes. However the Indian arm of this company does business in a most unethical way cheating the investor’s their hard earned investment. I lodged my complaint with SEBI as well as Ministry of Finance, Govt. of India, but they are reluctant to take any action...

I have subscribed the SIP of Franklin Templeton mutual funds india, with the quaterly amount of Rs. 1500/-.
On 12th of Oct'2009 my account has debited with Rs 1500 with ECS mode favoring Franklin India but no NAV is credited to my mutual fund account till date after hundreds of follow-ups. Franklin had issued the letter that their was insuffcient amount in your bank saving account whereas my banker Oriental Bank of Commerce has issued me the letter stating that amount is credited to franklin account with transaction ID's also.
Submitted the latter to franklin india lot of times but their is no response till date.

I have invested Rs 10000/- in Franklin Templeton smaller company mutual fund (NFO) in year 2006 through Kotak bank, Parle point.Till date I have not received any statement of investment from Franklin Templeton investments.I do not folio number for redemption of investment.My date of birth is 25th August 1966 and Pan card noAFDPK7480C.Please send me acoount statement on given address.
