Photochromic glass quality
I had bought 2 photochromic frames/ glasses one for my daughter and one for myself from pimple saudagar branch pune. The quality of photochromic glass is very bad and even in the summer there is no cooling effect and no transition as mentioned at the time of purchase of frame
The glass provided are of gangar own brand. We paid higher amount as compared to market rate and other competitors assuming we will get good quality. But we are highly dis satisfied with the product.
The owner founder Mr gangar is making money by selling low quality product at sky high prices..The product which is [protected]@ Rs. 1000 he is selling 3 times higher rates.
Based on our experience we feels that we are cheated and must get the full refund of amount from Gangar eye nation.
Take necessary action against the company and provide me with justice

I have been making specs from Gangar Eyenation (Mulund) from 2011. Every time I bring my own frame to make specs. I have really high power, and hence, for better quality I have been trusting Ganger Eyenation for so many years. Even they are aware about this. Unethical Behaviour

I have selected 3 frames worth Rs. 26000/- (Including lenses) from Gangar Eyenation, Sangli branch a few days back on 12th Sept, 2021.
When the glasses were ready and we picked them, one of the Stepper frame worth Rs.5400/- was incorrect as we had selected a different shape of the frame.
The Store people refused to accept their mistake on providing the wrong frame in spite of showing them the bill details and while investigating further, they mentioned that their records of 12th Sept, 2021 is now not available in their system and they have records only from 14th Sept.
The store employee (Rupesh Randive) and the manager tried misguiding me with the other frame costs and tried influencing me in terms of the frame shape and what's suits me more just so that they don't need to accept their mistake. Towards the end since they did not accept their mistake, I had to walk away with what they gave me as the complete amount was paid by me in advance.

Few days back I have purchased one premium specs from Gangar eyenation Bhiwandi Branch.
They gave us one year warranty of Frame.
Now I came to know that all of sudden that Bhiwandi branch got closed .
And there number is also not reachable.
I tried to contact their head office they refuse to help me.
If someone purchased the thing from one location you have to give service to customer ..

Frame of spect defective

I have issue defective frame of spect by Gangar Eynation at Nagpur I have return the frame for repair on at 16.03.2020 but till date not my problem and also my fram return to me I chack and found the shop is not their and land line number also not recheable

Worst customer care at gangar eyeneation airoli

I made a glass at gangar eyeneation airoli, in 2days of receival, I found that the leans was chipped, took it back, the worst set of people to deal with customer and they have a different approach to complaints.they said repair takes more than 20days..I mean u can deliver a glass in a week but when it comes to complaint it takes u 20days..worst product received with worst customer care ..

Progressive Spectacles with crizal glasses

In view of the good experience my earlier spectacles with crizal glasses from your Borivali stores, I googled Gangar Eye nation stores in Pune after shifting here. Placed order in late June 2020 at the Bibwewadi (Kondhava Road) Stores for new spects with crizal glass in progressive mode. The product was delivered in about 10 days time. I made the entire payment worth 26000/- The product however couldn't provide me comfort. I was told to give some time for the brain to get adjusted to the new power, which I did. But the problem continued, while working on computer I used to see double letters. I was asked to return the product for repair and another 10 days time it was returned to me saying that the problem has bee rectified, which wasn't the case. I found that only when I pushed the spects with a finger towards forehead I used to read. This meant that the reading power was not spread on the glass properly. I brought this to the notice, which the store manager accepted and again sent the spects to the workshop in Mumbai. This time the spects were returned with some tempering with the frame as well. The frame was made so tight that it touched my eyelashes and was often blurred with fog generated from the skin closer to eye. Again I was asked to wait for 10 days and my frame was returned without much change. At this stage Mr Anup (Area Manager) came in picture. He was rude and kept on telling me that my reading habits are incorrect. I should not read from multiple platforms in a row. After a long discussion and a wait of about 3 weeks he finally agreed to change the frame and the glasses. I was told that a new frame similar to the one in use (purchased from Borivali stores 2 years back) will be given to me and I will be required to pay the difference in cost of the frame. I agreed tot his. Selected the frame. I was made to wait for 3 weeks and in mid- September I was given the same old frame insisting that its a new frame and new glasses. I was asked my Mr Anup to trust him that it is a new frame and I must give it a try. I visited the store again and tried the product, but the problem persisted. The glasses touched my eyelashes. Vision was not clear. I informed MR Anup about this on phone, but he insisted that there is no problem with the spects. He was rude, he shouted at me, blamed me for not cooperating. I do not think that such behaviour is tolerable to anyone but to a loyal customer who came searching for you and waiting patiently for three months cooperating fully to deliver a suitable product is a classic example of bad salesmanship. The faulty product is still in the stores. I want complete refund for the product which was not delivered.

Faulty Frames delivered

I would like to bring to your notice that, Gangar Eye nation Shivaji Chowk Branch pin code 421301, delivers faulty spectacle frames to the customer, and have to audacity to provide zero value for money.
I did a purchase on 27/09/20 to which expected delivery was 4/10/20, I received a call 2 days prior to the expected delivery stating the product was ready, on arrival to my notice they were giving me the same defected spectacle frame claiming this is perfectly fine and the one which I ordered is yet to arrive .On denying to take the delivery they kept on arguing with me to keep the defected piece as it would work fine. This happened earlier aswell.

i am complaining about eye lenses poor quality

I have made my reading eye lenses on 4th dec 2019 from gangar eye nation (Vasai west branch) worth inr 7, 500/-
Within 7 months of make these lenses got damaged by having multiple starches on it due to which entire lenses are damaged..
If such poor quality is maintained after spending so much of amount then it is really disappointing.

cheating on payment and frame of glass and delivery

My currently spec's damaged so i needed frame and lens very urgently, without spec i have difficulty on vision, when i given order to ganger eyenation they asking 100% payment on advance, not delivered the frame on time, and during delivery it is defective not as per ask which was promised during taking order. I have paid 10000 advance for two order of 17590, one order ready even multiple visit, only one order ready and sales person asking 100% payment even second order not ready, i am ready for full payment of one order for which i am getting delivery, store sales person refused to deliver as he know i m suffering without spec store sales person behavior is rude. I move out without delivery, now i need my money back, as i m going to another shop.

This is to put on record that i use to buy all our family spectacles from gangar eyenation dadar tt stores, for the last 6 years me and my wife would have purchased spectacles for worth over 12 lacs till, but we never comprehended that gangar eyenation was such a big fraud company, the moto is to optimize profit without customer satisfaction the modis-operanda they worked was that every time they checked your eye reading for spectacles glass, they use to prescribe a higher lens reading, we trusted them and order for new specs but when the product was delivered we had serious reading issue, product costing rs 80, 000 was of no use to me, i being non resident could go once or twice a year to their shop, they were well aware that if wrong product given i would compliant only at my next visit, when confronted with their manager arbaz shaikh, he accepted their optician's mistake and agreed to compensate, latter change his mind and fraudulently debited my account with the full payment without any compensation.

eyeglasses defective lens

I have bought an eyeglasses from gangar eyenation, panchsheel square. The sales person suggested a pair of lenses and those lenses are defected, at night the light reflects more than 2 time. You can see 2 lights in place of, for example, if you are following a two wheeler instead of 1tail light 2 can be seen. So much more for 4 wheeler, 4 lights instead of 2. When i approached the shop and contacted the sales person he just denied to correct his mistake and asked for money for the replacement of the lenses. He just said to face we can't help you. Just can change the glasses, when he is the suggesting and misguiding for the glasses.

improper manufacturing of lens

Recently i have purchased progressive digital lens from your panvel store.
I am not happy with the lens what they delivered, it has been made with very narrow corridor, even a 10-20deg angle vision is blur, hence not able to see clearly without continuous movement of my head.
Is it possible to see everything straight? While working on laptop, only small portion of the screen is clearly visible, rests are blur. I paid almost 4000/- only for lens. It is clearly understandable that there is something wrong in manufacturing or they intentionally made narrow vision in progressive lens to sell a little wider vision in much higher price.
In spite of reported this issue to store, they are not willing to take any corrective action. When i started arguing with them, they are not ready to accept anything wrong, repeatedly saying it is new lens will take time to get adjusted.

Purchased my a specs on 20/2/17, 5-6 time lense are coming out, every time they repair but no good results, again same thing happened, now they are telling i have to pay for frame (Rs[protected], on which basis i have to pay when you're frame was problematic. Be warned. Better visit other shop for your specs.
I have paid gangar eyenation old panvel, a fat amount for making my spec. I felt severe pain in using it. On reviewing with dr it was found that the spect was wrongly designed.
Now they are charging me more to correct it. Since last 3 months i am waiting for the spect.
Will anybody accept this???

I am a first time lens user and i ordered lens from ganger eyenation vasant vihar thane west. I asked them to give one trial lenses but they said they don't provide that and when i started using trial lenses provided by them i felt uneasy most of the times and after 7 days it broked even when i was using it so carefully. They have provided low quality lenses and when i went and asked for replacement they were rude towards me and were not ready to provide replacement.

Fraud in providing original crizal glasses

Due to their lack of responsibility and fradulent behaviour i suffered from a high power vision. When i went to gangar eyenation for eye check up. My sight was -7 in the year 2015 but just in the year 2017 my far vision got increased by -10. Now i am facing problem to buy a lens at reasonable price. And also they provided me crizal lenses saying that original lens doesnot have any fogg mark. But the same thinh when i enquired by within my nearest outlet they showed me the yearwise booklet of lenses and brands where they clearly showed me that gauranteed branded products always have a fogg id same with crizal n esscilor.

Cheap quality spectacles sold at exorbitant Price

I brought specs from Gangar Eyenation for me, my wife and my mom. I and my wife have single number still the specs cost 4000+. When asked how it costs so much their sales representative said that the lenses used in spectacles are cryzal n these cost about 2500 and frames of specs cost about 1800.
As for my mom, she has near and far both vision correction, so i had her made progressive glass spectacles from Gangar Eyenation. these costed me about 14000. the frame cost about 2000 and the sales representative told us that glass used in progressive lenses is cryzal special glasses which are very costly but are most durable and help viewing better.
Upon close inspection i found that the spectacles frame is made of cheap plastic and has made in china stamp. And neither did i get a letter or certificate saying cryzal lenses are fitted.
The similar kind of frames which i brought from Gangar Eyenation are available in wholesale market for around only 500 Rs.
When u go to buy spectacles, the sales representatives of Gangar Eyenation are courteous and friendly, but i[censored] have a query or complaint the same sales representatives are rude and dont care what u want to say.
Overal most fraudulent company.
Dont Buy from here even i[censored] have excess money...

Wrong specification for purchase of spects

I gave order for spects at Gangar Eyenation 162 Chinoy Mansion Near Kemps Corner-400036 vide order No. 1D10993 dt 6.1.2016 total order value 12200. The Frame was of CK and 1.8 index glass. Before finalizing the order they retook my prescription and told me that my left eye cylinder no 0.50 has come. The spects was to be delivered at their Girgaum Shop. When I took the Spects from Charni Road Shop on 13/1/16 and wore it my vision of let eye was blur and I told the staff at Charni Road Shop that there is something wrong with prescription. The branch manager of Charni Road Shop told me that it happens when you get cylinder no and it is our policy that within one month if customer comes back and says he is not comfortable with the nos we shall take care at no cost and replace the spects. I requested him to give it in writing. He refused stating that is companies policy we can not give in writing. I was there for 15 minutes. They also called the camps corner shop and the cams corners shop confirmed that they shall replace at no cost on phone to charni road shop and they conveyed this to me. But I was not able to bear the numbers and was having strain I refused to take delivery. I called the branch Manager Bharat Boricha at 11.52 Am on 13/1/16 he told me to get the nos verified from outside and than come and he shall replace the glass. I went to Lawrance and Mayo at Fort and they confirmed that I have no Cylinder no and issued Prescription. I called Bharat Boricha gangar Eyenation Camps Corner he says he wanst only Doctor prescription otherwise he can not replace. He had earlier told Charni Road Shop that the customer can come any time in one month id uncomfortable and now refused. I told him that I am ready to get the no checked from doctor from his panel but he is not ready to give any doctors name.
The Camps Corner shop is negligent in taking proper nos and now not co-operating and refusing to refund 2000 Rs . At his own shop they do not have doctors to check the nos and now insisting doctors no. The very fact that I can not see properly from the specification given by their person is enough that they person has been negligent in prescribing the specification.

poor and irresponsible service

I have purchased a frame costing Rs 3290 Reciept No [protected],
Transcation No 9801 on 26/1/14. The frame was broken on 28/04/14 ie 3
months o[censored]sage. The Boisar dealer refused to exchange the frame and
demanding full cost of the frame for replacement. It seems that gangar
eye nation is selling inferior products at very high value and not
caring customers.

Not giving credit note

I had chosen frame for my mother at Gangar's Kandiwali Lokhandwala store and has given them advance of Rs. 3000/-. Subsequently, during eye checking i came to know that my mother had a cataract and need to get operated for it. Therefore I postponed the making of glasses and requested them to refund the money. However, they refused and on the option of giving credit note, it was informed to me that credit note has to be utilised within 15 days itself. My mother will be getting operated after 4 months. In this situation, Gangar Eyenation has refused to either refund my money or give a credit note which can be utilised within a reasonable period of time.
This is really ridiculous with a shop of such know brand in Eyewear.
The Sales person was Mr. Irshan Shaikh and the Manager of the store is Mr. Mehul.
No customer service and very rude behavious.

I have been suffering from vision problems, ever since I purchased spectacles from Gangar eye nation, Koperkhakrane, Navi Mumbai, they are not ready to change my spectacles glasses, neither I get proper customer service from the store, I have been asking for their manager call back since 4 weeks, visited the store more then 10 times, given my complaint in writing, also sent email, still they don't bother to resolve my problem, instead asking me to pay for other spectacles lenses those can resolve my vision problems, Check the below mentioned statement I sent to Gangar eye nation:
I purchased spectacles on 28/09/2014 from your Koperkhairane outlet, which was collected by me on 06/10/2014, however I was facing issues with the side vision, everything looks like curve(example- pliers), when I complaint on 08/10/2014 your representative asked me to leave the spectacles at the store, they sent it to laboratory, after 2 day they called me, I visited the store, but the problem was not resolved, this happened 5-6 times, eventually they changed the frame stating that due to bigger than the frame I was wearing, I had the vision issues, still the problem was not resolved, on 21/10/2014, the representative informed me that the lenses are thicker than the old spectacles lenses, there is index issue, I had been wearing 1.67 index lenses, the new one is on 1.5, which costs rs. 8800, when I asked why I was not informed about they index issues at the time of purchase, they don't have any answers, now I want compensation of this situation I have gone through, I also spoke with your area head name Vipul, he told me that only 25% compensation can be given on the lenses, but I want either 40% compensation, or 25% on the total purchase amount of new spectacles with proper lenses plus you adjust the amount of the old thick lenses of Rs. 2350, they are denying this, I also requested Vipul for higher authorities call back, but they never called me, please look in to this issue, it's high time now, I already wasted a lot of time and money for the follow up, instead you should keep proper follow up, I am loosing my petitions, gonna go to police station to file a complaint, I will also involve media people in this case, II will just wait till this Monday

I purchased spectacles on 28/09/2014 from your Koperkhairane outlet, which was collected by me on 06/10/2014, however I was facing issues with the side vision, everything looks like curve(example- pliers), when I complaint on 08/10/2014 your representative asked me to leave the spectacles at the store, they sent it to laboratory, after 2 day they called me, I visited the store, but the problem was not resolved, this happened 5-6 times, eventually they changed the frame stating that due to bigger than the frame I was wearing, I had the vision issues, still the problem was not resolved, on 21/10/2014, the representative informed me that the lenses are thicker than the old spectacles lenses, there is index issue, I had been wearing 1.67 index lenses, the new one is on 1.5, which costs rs. 8800, when I asked why I was not informed about they index issues at the time of purchase, they don't have any answers, now I want compensation of this situation I have gone through, I also spoke with your area head name Vipul, he told me that only 25% compensation can be given on the lenses, but I want either 40% compensation, or 25% on the total purchase amount of new spectacles with proper lenses plus you adjust the amount of the old thick lenses of Rs. 2350, they are denying this, I also requested Vipul for higher authorities call back, but they never called me, please look in to this issue, it's high time now, I already wasted a lot of time and money for the follow up, instead you should keep proper follow up, I am loosing my petitions, gonna go to police station to file a complaint, I will also involve media people in this case, II will just wait till this Monday

Purchased so called ORIGINAL PRADA Frame for Rs 13500!
I was fooled and the frame did not even last for a year . It lost colour and broke in less than 12 months time.
It is always recommemded not to buy anything from Gangar Eyenation ...You can be fooled and be given a duplicate frames in the name of originals

Absolutely... I agree, Gangar doesn't live upto its name... Not only with brands but they play with peoples eyes as well... I just got my eyes tested about 4 months back, from Gangar itself... Some how the number was irritating my eyes so I went back after a month to rectify where I was been told to constantly wear the glasses...
But irritation went on increasing whenever I wore them... So finally I went to the Doctor where he told me that the glasses were not upto the mark... i.e. They have a different number...
These people at Gangar (Vashi Sector-17) are not willing to change the glass & make stupid reasons everytime!!
