Hello, I came to know about Geeklurn through ads on social media. It offers data science program. Anyone can join who don't have any tech knowledge. They approached me through their sales team. Sales Team called me and told me about the course and also told me to send my KYC documents which I've sent through WhatsApp and on the basis of my documents they had taken a loan of Rs2, 78, 000 i don't know about that they are taking loan on my name...

I am writing to register a complaint against Mr. Kamalapuram Srinivas Kalyan, the CEO of Geeklurn, and Neev Credit Pvt Ltd, the NBFC (Non-Banking Financial Company) acting as the finance partner, regarding fraudulent practices, breach of contract, and negligence. I urgently request your intervention and prompt action against both parties.
In Feb 2022, I enrolled in Geeklurn's data science course, enticed by their "pay after placement" business model. They presented themselves as a scholarship platform, offering to take an education loan on my behalf from their finance partner, Neev Credit Pvt Ltd. They assured that the loan EMIs would be due on the 5th of each month, and scholarships would be disbursed by the 4th of every month. I have attached the brochure, which clearly outlines their scheme, for your reference.
To my dismay, my experience with Geeklurn has been filled with mismanagement and deception. The loan for the course was processed within a two minutes by Neev Credit Pvt Ltd, without conducting proper due diligence on Geeklurn. This negligence on the part of Neev Credit Pvt Ltd, is a serious misconduct and has resulted in severe consequences for me.
According to the brochure, there is nothing about EMI but for scholarship they have mentioned. However, in recent messages and calls, both Geeklurn and Neev Credit Pvt Ltd have asked me to pay the due amount, citing that the CEO of Geeklurn is on the run, and they cannot recover the funds from him. This contradictory behavior and attempt to shift the liability onto me is completely unjust and unacceptable.

Neev Credit Pvt Ltd, as the finance partner, failed to fulfill their responsibility of verifying the credibility and operations of Geeklurn. They provided the education loan at an exorbitant interest rate of 18%, which further demonstrates their lack of due diligence. It is evident that both Geeklurn and Neev Credit Pvt Ltd are complicit in perpetuating this fraudulent scheme.

For the past 1 months, I have been diligently following up with Neev Credit Pvt Ltd to address the loan cancellation and foreclosure. However, they are not ready to foreclose the loan. Their lack of cooperation exacerbates the distressing situation I find myself in.

Furthermore, I have recently discovered that Mr. Kamalapuram Srinivas Kalyan, the CEO of Geeklurn, is currently on the run. It has come to my attention that their office was registered under the MSME (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) category, and they failed to inform the government authorities before abruptly closing their operations. This act is a clear violation of the law and adds to the severity of the situation.
In light of these developments, I urge you to take strict action against Mr. Kamalapuram Srinivas Kalyan, Neev Credit Pvt Ltd, and initiate a thorough investigation into the affairs of Geeklurn. It is essential to ensure that justice is served, and those responsible for this fraudulent scheme are held accountable for their actions. Additionally, I seek your assistance in facilitating the loan cancellation and foreclosure process with Neev Credit Pvt Ltd, as they bear a significant responsibility in this matter.

Enclosed with this letter are copies of relevant documents, including the course brochure, and any communication I have had with both Geeklurn and Neev Credit Pvt Ltd . These documents serve as evidence supporting my complaint. Should you require any further information or assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out to me.

Even the Geeklurn Team inform us to share the details looping Finance Partner so they will pay EMI amount directly to finance partner on behalf of students which I already mail to finance partner and Geeklurn both and mail also attached for the proof and group screenshot where they ask for the details

I've enrolled in this institute for Data Science Program for 10 months on April month. As the one of my sales person was constantly pressuring me to enroll in this program and complete the loan process etc with 2-3 hrs, Mr. Mithun has reached out to me that the EMI will get process on 1st of every month. As the classes will get started from May 2023 onwards on the same month EMI has git deducted, I found something weird so i asked them to cancel the admission and refund the amount or close the loan process atelast but no one is responding to emails and calls are not getting answered by them.

After the week Mr. Srinivas has emailed to all the students to show some faith on the institute we will restart the program etc. But that is also not happening. Now in the news we've found out that All Management People are in the Jail.

Couldn't expect such things are happening in the Education Sector. Kindly help me on this.

I've enrolled for Data Science program in Geeklurn and the fee is 200000, Geeklurn had taken loan of RS 278000 against my name from Liquiloans as an education loan. I've asked them to cancel the admission and refund the amount and stopped the loan process no one has responded to that email. Till today i haven't got any solution on this. Can someone help me here?

I am a student of geeklurn, batch 69. I havd paid an upfrong amounf of 2 lakhs and was promised a scholarship, internship, classes etc. Now i have lost my money, schlarship received is only 3 months, no job, no classes. Waste of time and money. Please help

I was contacted by Geeklurn Solution Bangalore for the Data Science Architect Program
which was a placement guaranteed program. I was being told that they will be paying my
until I get the job and there will not be a single penny which I have to pay before
getting a job. I was regular in the training classes and also submitted all the required
assignment, they have paid my EMI for 10 months and now all of the sudden from 3 months
that is from March, April and May, they haven't paid my EMI with no classes and no
interview scheduled from their end.

Also, they are not answering our calls, they are not available in their office too,
emails are also bouncing back as they are vanished completely. I am trapped in a fraud
where I am unable to pay the loan as I don't have a job and I have a lot of mental
stress because of this situation.

I have been trapped in a fraud and now I have a loan which Geeklurn was supposed to pay.

I am attaching the contract details which I have signed which clearly state that Geeklurn will pay my loan until I get the job.
I can give more proofs of the fact that I am not liable to pay this loan.

I request the loan partner also that please close my loan as I am in suicidal situation
where I have no job and Geeklurn fraud me by saying placement guarantee program.

I request loan partners, Geeklurn team, consumer forum and RBI to contact me asap and give me NOC
of this loan.

I am writing to bring to your attention the fraudulent activities and breach of contract by
GeekLurn Edutech Services Pvt. Ltd. in connection with their Data Science Architect Program Courses. I enrolled in the program in May 2022 for a total cost of
Rs. 2, 78, 000/-. In order...

I have fallen victim to their fraudulent practices and wish to bring their illegal activities to your attention for immediate investigation and legal action.

In my pursuit of a data science course, I came across Geeklurn's website and submitted my personal details. Subsequently, I received a call from Geeklurn's education counselor, Pavan, who extensively explained the benefits of their data science course and introduced me to their pay-after-placement policy. Pavan assured me that I would not be required to make any payments until I secured a placement through Geeklurn, further adding that a scholarship would be provided to cover the monthly EMIs. This information was provided to me in relation to their 24-month program.

Encouraged by Pavan's representation, I initially expressed my intention to join the course at a later date. However, Pavan persistently contacted me, urging me to enroll. Eventually, I decided to Join in december 2022 and provided the requested documents, including my PAN card, signed offer letter, salary slip, and bank account statement. Pavan also introduced me to the private loan distributor, NDX P2P Private Limited (Liquiloans), and instructed me not to disclose Geeklurn's pay-after-placement policy to them.

Following a background check, including an assessment of my credit score, the loan provider requested an OTP and guided me through the loan application process. Subsequently, Geeklurn sent me an agreement to sign. Upon reviewing the agreement, I noticed the absence of any mention regarding the provision of EMI coverage for the entire 24-month duration of the data science architect program. Additionally, there was no clear indication of the pay-after-placement policy. Concerned about these discrepancies, I contacted Pavan for clarification, and he reassured me that Geeklurn would indeed provide the EMI support as initially promised. Believing his words, I neglected to sign the agreement.

Despite the unsigned agreement, Geeklurn sent a link of LMS and classes link and I commenced the classes, which is actually conducted by undertrained teachers and the loan was eventually sanctioned in February.. Geeklurn received an amount of INR 278, 000 with a high-interest rate, and two advance EMIs on the same date was paid by geeklurn since loan application was filled in december. The main issue arose in March when I received an email from Geeklurn introducing new terms and conditions. It stated that from that point forward, I was required to pay the EMIs on my own, and Geeklurn would provide the scholarship at a later stage. This marked the first instance of their breach of promise and their deceptive actions affecting thousands of students enrolled with Geeklurn.

As my loan was sanctioned in February, my first EMI was deducted on March 1st, and I received the scholarship from Geeklurn on March 5th. A similar pattern occurred in April as well. However, the situation took a turn for the worse in May when my scholarship was deducted, but Geeklurn failed to receive the EMI on May 21st, 2023. In an official WhatsApp message, they declared their inability to provide the scholarship anymore. Not only have they deceived me, but they have also played with the trust and financial stability of thousands of students. I come from a lower-middle-class family and am the sole earner, making it impossible for me to afford the monthly payment of INR 10, 734. I sincerely request your assistance in resolving this matter. The miscommunication and unclear terms have placed me in a difficult situation, and I am unable to bear the burden of the monthly EMIs on my own. I seek a fair resolution that upholds the original promises made by Geeklurn regarding the pay-after-placement policy and the provision of EMI support for the entire duration of the program.

Geeklurn Edutech Pvt. Ltd Bangalore has tie up with various finance company and under the name of education loan they are taken personal loan of 2.78 lacs on students name with a very high interest rate. They are fooling students and working professionals by saying pay the fees after placement till that time we will give you scholarship.
But know they are not paying EMI and finance company recovery people are coming home and also sending...

We, all the students of Geeklurn Edutech Services Private Ltd Institute based in Bengaluru, Karnataka write to draw your attention towards the educational fraud happening from the institute in terms of finance loan.

Reason to reach you directly is because police in students’ specific areas are not accepting FIR since it is an online institute and based in Bengaluru and after reporting to cybercrime no action has been taken...

This is to notify you that we have enrolled for the Data Science course with Geeklurn Edutech Pvt. Ltd. through online and we were promised that the course will be of zero cost until the payment i.e., the amount will be debited from our account by the finance provider NDX P2P Private Limited(2, 78, 000 RUPEES) (Liquiloans) and the same amount will be disbursed to the students as a scholarship for 24 months by Geeklurn Institute. They promised us to pay 24 months EMI, They stopped after paying 4 EMIs. We have gone through a mental Harassment as Geeklurn has Absconded from the office location and not responding to the calls or emails. Now, we have come across the reality where Geeklurn is a scam Institute and there are more than 2000 students who have fallen into this scam Hence, requesting you to take necessary action against Geeklurn for a fake commitment and help us to foreclose the loan. Also, they have taken a loan from NDX P2P Private Limited (Liquiloans) on behalf of the students without our consent which is an offence as per RBI guidelines.

NDX P2P Private Limited (Liquiloans) has approved a loan on my behalf with loan application number: CL01853727 and credited the amount to Geeklurn by my consent without guiding me that it can be a scam!. Geeklurn has been closed. Nobody from Geeklurn is responding to me.

On seeing an advertisement, Pay after Placement, I approached Geeklurn for admission in data science course. The salesperson explained to me that I will only need to pay once I get placement which is 100% guaranteed. So when I asked to proceed, they asked me for my aadhar, pan and 3 month salary slip. Once they gone through my details, they asked me if I was a co-borrower in my father's home loan which I said yes and then they revealed that for security purposes, they will sanction an education loan on my name and they will give me a monthly scholarship to pay the EMI. I had a doubt on that but they explained that it is to make sure that we students will be serious about our studies. Only on sanction, I learned that they had taken a loan against my name from Aditya Birla. I wanted to cancel the admission but they didn't allow me and till month of feburary they paid me the scholarship but calssed were not so regular and suddenly form the month of march they came up with various reasons to not pay the scholarship such as attendance, assignments, and all. Upon this many students revolted but they promised us that they will pay up all the scholarships in phases. Now we received a message from Srinivas, MD of Geelurn, that they will no longer pay the scholarship. I am not in a state to pay the EMIs where there is no surety of completion of the course. The Geeklurn was very aware of my financial situation and I will not be able to pay the EMIs. I kindly request to please close the loan by asking the Geeklurn to pay Aditya Birla to whom Aditya birla have partnered with

Geeklurn had taken loan of RS 278000 against my name from Liquiloans as a education loan without my knowledge,
They made me agree to NACH auto debit for emi of the loan stating that the emi will start deducting after the completion of the course.
But on the 7th of may they deducted RS 7722.15 from my account i called them about this they said they will repay the amount 15th of every month. On 15th may I haven't not received the amount so I called the sales person he said that he left the job, now no one is responding calls and emails,

I feel that Liquiloans is also responsible for this scam same as geeklurn, because I haven't received a single confirmation call from liquiloans that they are processing loan against my name.

(This scenerio is for geeklurn )We are the student of Geeklurn Edutech Services Pvt Ltd, and we have enrolled in pay after Placement service, so the scenario is Geeklurn will pay the EMI amount to us and we will pay the EMI to our finance Partner i.e. propelled etc and the legal name is Bluebear Technology Private Limited etc. This is the scenario.But we were not aware about this before our enrollment & from last 4 months we are not receiving the EMI on time & Many o[censored]s were not received the EMI of 1, 2 or three months .

means there are a simple scene Geeklurn has taken the loan on behalf of student and same has give us on monthly base equal to our Loan EMI amount on the name of scholarship Amount.

There is no exit policy after 7 days of enrollment.
Tere are almost 3000 students are there who have facing the same. please investigate

There were multiple advertisements by Geeklurn institute on different onlineplatforms, where they splashed that – “Get Trained & pay after Job offer(100%Job Guarantee).” That’s how I came into contact with Geeklurn Sales executive.This is how, I got admission for their course, where they have forced us to takeloan for them as security amount and promised to payloan EMI in the form ofmonthly Scholarship amount. On calls & Emails the Geeklurn executives haveconfirmed again n again that they will pay the Scholarship amount on 2nd-3rd ofevery month & EMI will be deducted from my account on5th of every month asEMI for loan. They also agreed that if there is any delay in paying scholarship amount from Geeklurn, they will be responsible for Loan EMIs. After provided stipend for 1st month, they have not made any payment from last 2 months, due to which Bank officials have been calling & harassing us to pay the EMI &additional charges. Geeklurn is not responding to any of our calls & emails andBank officials have been troubling us with all the collections call, which is becoming a mental harassment for us. And we are not left any other option except suicide as we cannot bear any more stress due to this. Request you to look into this matter and help cancelling the admission with Geeklurn & thus cancel the loan against it

I took admission for best future but they trap me and else 3000 students with loan which is totally not done my me and there employees call us and said you don't need pay anything geeklurn will handle with the name of admission they sanctioned...

But Liquilons which is given loan on my name sending me EMI messages i tried to contact Geeklurn team they ar not responding, in WhatsApp also they are not responding i akked them about cancel my admission they don't even answered. So i am not paying any EMI. They both Liquilons and Geeklurn are jointly doing this scam by cheating thousands of middle class students and working professionals so please take an action on them and save lifes and career of students.

They took admission of number of students and they said and also mentioned in the agreement that you do not need to pay your course emi until you got placed we will provide you scholarships but now they are not providing the scholarship to all students and not attending our call or mails they just sit back and put all students in debt trap.

I have been asking the geeklurn from starting to now regarding the agreement's details of the loan and Courese both are not provided ... Just a few days back they shared an agreement copy to mail id the Agreement was new to me - I didn't sign and even I was time see the agreement -

Geeklurn education institute bangalore has cheated me by taking 3.6 lakhs loan under my name from Eduvanz finance company. They are not providing any quality education and as per agreement they told we shouldnt pay a single penny. Now they are not paying the EMI as per agreement and also not cancelling the course.
