No foreign currency accept at domestic terminal
Hungry since morning and have flight at 1.30 pm...I have no Indian currency. Bad experience...I haven't seen any airport which doesn't accept foreign currency.

GMR sir some problem last night 1:30 a.m. terminal 2 round about near t2 parking one recovery and person and one Delhi traffic police constable outside some taxes waiting and parking issue is sir he is asking both of person traffic police and recovery when person rate 200 rupees parking outside area and harassment to all drivers I am working last 10 years ola company please check this issue sir I am humble request for you

Misbehaved By Ground Staff
We had a flight on 25 Sep 2021 from IGIA ( New Delhi Terminal 3) to Colombo (Srilanka) at 4:15 pm (flight no-Al 281, seat no-20A, 20B, 20C, 20D). Between security checking and boarding gate 7B, we lost one handbag with expensive articles, important documents, and cash. and we realized this after boarding the plane. The in-flight staff was very cooperative.
However, a female ground staff (with a walkie-talkie in her hand) also checking the RTPCR report on gate no 7B was very rude. She misbehaved with my mother and my mom was pleading. Rather than helping us, she was harassing us. She even threatened to de-board us. She was behaving like she owns the flight and her language was very impolite and abusive(Abusive tone: "tere ko to main de-board karaungi..is aurat ko bahar nikal") this was the language used by that lady staff. She harassed my mother that much that my mother lost her consciousness & fainted in flight.
Is this the way to treat your passenger?? I want strict action against that lady staff. And, also I want to know what action you are taking.
I feel like this kind of person should not belong to any industry. I have a deep faith that GMR will help us and take strict action against that lady.
If I am not getting any help from your side then I have to look for other possible mediums to sort this issue.

Extortion by Resa staff at drop on /off area
I had gone to drop off my daughter at terminal 3 of IGI airport.Vistara was gate one as she was going alone went to drop off at gate.It was barely 3-4 minutes a staff wearing an orange jacket with RESA written came took pictures of the car said it will be towed tried to get money from the driVer.I saw this and took his picture.Firstly his mask was down throughout, secondly what was runway staff doing posing as security and lastly why did he take picture of car and went behind to speak to driver.His name is Prithvi Singh and I have taken his picture.

My name is Harbans singh, a US citizen travelled on 10 May on united airlines from New Delhi to Las Angeles. When I was entering airport this person named Lalta prasad sharma working with GMR security stopping me outside airport . He checked my passport and tkt and as u cannot go bk in corona, also he chked my report which was negative. He said u hv made this report its not original and I cannot travel bk to my country . He scared me and took $950 US dollars from me to catch my flight . I was getting late and had no other option but I hd to travel on that date . I would like to request to take action against this guy who might be threatening people and talking money from them to travel bk .

my bag was stolen from my suitcase

I was travelling from dubai to new delhi ek 514 on 13th feb. It was announced in the flight that luggage would come at 7number belt but due to some reason it was not at 7no belt. I asked from reception then they told that there were 2men with all plane luggate in lobby area. I took my luggage when i came home then i was shocked to see that someone has opened my luggage and stolen my new sling bag from suitcase which i bought from dubai. This was really very shameful thing done by the employees. Kindly register my complaint and will appreciate for ur promt reply

On 21.10.2018 we are boarding from delhi airport to durgapur on 5.40 am flight. Mistakenly my wife payel chatterjee majumdar put her hand bag into the airport containing her mobile (Samsung j7) and money bag containing some money along with some id cards. The same was found by cisf personnel and handed over to gmr department with lp no. 69921.
On 12.11.2018 while taking back the articles from your good office it was found the mobile not given to the person whom my wife authorized. Also it was told that the mobile not handed over to them. Although while searching it found the statement was false.
Hence requesting you to please do the proper investigation and return the mobile of my wife.

The cellar wine shop just outside the terminal 3 building (Delhi airport metro express line) building has the very disgusting practice of selling jim beam whisky without its decorated cover. The metallic car shaped cover is always missing. When enquirer, the staffs rudely replies to buy it from other wine shop which is a very bad experience. Kindly look into the matter.

No baby feeding room available on terminal 2 arrival of delhi airport. We went to information desk for the same they told with smile, if people are leaving from arrival what is the need of feeding room. Who will explain them baby can't wait for a second when she is hungry and in that situation how mother will feed them. Proper action should taken for the same.

I had early morning flight from delhi to hyderabad by indigo pnr no o7emus on — 510 dep. Since have to travel from muzzafer nagar to reach airport, i emailed the facilities available at airport and also mentioned in the email that there phone number mentioned on the gmr web site is not functioning. However till he date of my journey there reply was not there inspite of more than 24 hrs. Upon reaching the airport at 1700 hrs of 10-5-16, i looked out for the dormitory (Since it is economical) for my surprise there is no such facility at 1d terminal at all i do not know about international terminal, i seated at ticketing area and there is no provision of drinking water, and ticketing area is with very less ac. Further more the wash rooms were very stinky and not upto the mark. My only question is what for these people charging udf from us when they are not providing minimal facilities to pasengers like water and they wanted us to use plaza lounge whcih is quite expensive. This realy wooried me and when contacted the available staff. He was relcutant to reply and he advised that only passenger coming inside terminal will be helped. I did not understand why the dormitory not provided for the passengers who had to travel next day like me.. Please take some action

Misbehavior by GMR staff at New Delhi Terminal 3

On the 28th November 2010, I was travelling from New Delhi to Mumbai on flight IT 301 departure 1810 hours from T3. At about 1730 hours, I approached the information desk opposite the entrance to the gates (as you exit the retail area), I asked the lady sitting at the desk (Ms. POOJA KHOSLA in a grey business suit) for the timings of the transfer Carts to go to Gate 58. She snapped at me saying that the cart could not be used by me as it was reserved only for disabled and handicapped persons ( pointing at the Manual wheel chairs behind her).
I informed her that chances are that the cart would NOT be full of so many incapacitated people and I would like to use it if there is a vacancy else would wait for the next one to arrive. She did not answer me and refused to give me the time. I reminded her and asked her again for the timings and informed her that I did not need her permission to use the facility, provided there is space available and the priority to use them would certainly lie with people who would be in want of this facility.
At this juncture she raised her voice with a pointed finger saying that she has informed me that the cart cannot be used by me. She then stood up and looked around, probably looking for staff to stop me from using the same. I warned her to be corrected and behave properly and to simply give me the information that I ask for as she is positioned at the information desk and it is her duty to assist. Ms. Pooja Khosla once again raised her voice and shouted at me and aggressively asked me to leave the desk and that she was not interested in talking to me. I immediately called up my schoolmate Mr. Saket Singh who works with GMR in a senior position and informed him about the indecent behavior of your staff both verbally and also sent him a text about the same.
Since morning I have been trying to call the telephone number[protected] which is reflected on your website and have been informed by one Hemendra that the number on the website it wrong, I was given other numbers[protected] and[protected] which is ringing and is obviously not attended.
I am shocked and extremely angry to be met with this kind of humiliating treatment and the behavior of your ill trained and ill mannered, misbehaved junior staff. I have been embarrassed in view of all the public present and I demand that this matter be taken up immediately.
Apart from my professional association with Hospitality and Infrastructure companies, I, in my private capacity own a media company which provides news feed to the Electronic and the Print Media, though I am extremely angry and disturbed with the treatment meted out to me, I am also tempted to use all resources available to me and to take this up and throw this open to the entire media and the stakeholders; but would like to document this incident and write to you before I take up any further action.
I hope that you would initiate appropriate action to ensure that such incidents are not repeated and stop bringing Customers and Guests of GMR to shame. Hence I look forward to hearing from you on this in the next couple of days. I am keen to know the action taken by you.

1)The Passengers wash rooms are being used by CISF security staff. They walk in with their weapons and behave as though it is their right to use these wash rooms in preference to passengers. There is a notice outside the arrivals washroom at T3 stating " wash rooms are ONLY for passengers". But when I complained to the senior security in-charge, he said he also uses the same. They must be provided their own wash rooms independent of those meant for passengers. If not, then please have the signage removed. There is a total lack of discipline by the present security staff and the wash room attendant was unfortunately behaving in a helpless manner as he cannot control the security personnel. .
2) I experienced a cancelled flight by Jet Airways from Delhi to Srinagar on 23rd November 2015. Was at the airport from 8:30 am till 3:30 pm. From the time the flight was cancelled (approximately 1:30 pm) till 3:30 pm there was a complete lack of coordination between the Airline staff and the security staff. All passengers were made to run from one counter to another and from departure terminal to arrival terminal with no direction from either the airline or support from the security staff. The security staff at each gate was waiting for procedural formalities and instructions from their "senior" to be completed before allowing the passengers who had already been inconvenienced for over 7 hours before they were allowed to move from the departure terminal to the arrival terminal to collect their baggage, . Such simple procedures were made to look so cumbersome..Obvious lack of coordination and a system failure. There needs to be a standard operating procedure in such situations.

Kindly give training to your staff at the entrance gate for departure how to see the ticket of passengers would you believe he could not see the date on emirates ticket. It is mentioned just below the time of departure and arrival. This happened when my wife was traveling from delhi to Dubai emirates flight on 2 nd sep 2018 EK 517
When my wife Huma Sherwani presented her e ticket on mobile at the entrance to security staff he could not see the date of traveling. They have mobiles they could have checked at the emirates counter such a pathetic behaviour. I don’t know how to react.

never trust the display boards in GMR airport for flight information

i had booked a late evening kingfisher flight from delhi to bangalore. as usual i reached on time and once i got down the taxi i saw the flight was late by 45mins. as my friend has come to see me off i didnt go in and preferred to stay out for some more time with my friend. once it was time i went in and to my surprise i was told the flight is taken off and kingfisher guys blamed GMR officials for this wrong info provided. when i complained to GMR officials they were not surprised and instead asked me why were you standing out of airport when you had reached on time.
i didnt have any option that night but to have a sleep less night and board next day morning flight.
this is a lesson learnt for me....never believe the information displays at the airport. Govt airports should be far more efficient
