Selling milk packets for 2 rupees more than printed MRP.

Since few days, i have been observing that, all resellers for Milk Packets in Nagri Nivara zone 1 & 2, Goregaon (E) are selling milk packet (mostly under big brand names likes: Gokul, Amul, Aarey etc) above than the printed price on the packets.
On asked about, some of the shop keepers revealed that, its Milk manufacturing company's fault that they have revised the prices but are not packing the...

Shops charging more than MRP printed on the pack
We stay in Ghatkoper East & use Gokul Milk. The MRP printed on one litre pack of milk is Rs 28/-. However the Aarey shops & petty vendors charge Rs 29/- & the milk men who delivers door to door they charge Rs 30/-. On further asking them, they said this is the same everywhere & all milk men charge the same. Then what purpose does the MRP price serve ????...
