Non-CTS cheque issued as Full & Final Payment.
My name is Jayant R.B. Last week I am in receipt of Regd. post containing Full & Final Payment Cheque from Golden Tree Plantation Ltd., ( instead of Rs.85, 000/ just Rs.1, 100/) with a letter stating it is full & final payment.
So I have deposited the said cheque but they have refused to accept it, mentioning it is a Non-CTS cheque.
So once again they have fooled us.
Can anybody guide me in this matter?
Can we register a complaint against GTPL for issuing a Non-CTS cheque that we can not encash?
Or there is any other way so we can get at least Rs.1, 100/- per Tree invested with such cheating company?

I am ninad patil. My father damodar patil have baught one unit from the GTP in the year 1995 and i have steel wait 17 year to return my growth amount but GTP is not gave my money
and i have invest 550 Rs and GTP is give written document to 85000 Rs is return in the year 2010 but GTP didnt gave the amount...and now company told me that u will get only 1100..whats to do?..pls do needfull

ph no:[protected] the Maturity Period was 15 year as my mother Baught it in march 1996 now after the maturity period they suppose to give us Rs.85,000/-
However, they denied to give us the cheque of that amount which was been promise to us when we baught it. and they are making stories like forest department has not give them permission to cut the tree which was been planted by our money in theire farm.

i read in 1st jun guj samachar page no 6 the advertised publish by company[GTPL] that all tree holders submit their original allotment letter, acknowledgement slip and receipt of amount which can you invest in company.i am in puzzle that we submit all original documents then we have nothing to produce for claim.in past company cant give any response to investors so what's authenticity of this advertise so give me suggestion or advise what to do?

Recently came to know that GTPL has started releasing the cheque of Rs. 550/- (Only invested amount) and nobody is replying in a proper manner at their office in Paldi, Ahmadabad. they are just talking verbally and not issuing any letter or press release in regards to claim just to fool their investors.government must take action against them.

I HAVE 5 UNITS OF GOLDEN TREE PLANTATIONS LTD. IN RESPONSE TO I HAVE SURRENDERED MY UNITS ON[protected]. THE REALISATION OF A TREE EXPECTED BY THE COMPANY WAS RS 85000.00 per UNIT. AT THE TIME OF COLLECTING MONEY FROM THE INVESTORS. HOWEVER THE COMPANY HAS ACTUALLY PAID ONLY RS.1100/UNIT. AFTER 17 YEARS. THIS IS HIGHLY UNJUSTIFIED AND UNREASONABLE. THE COMPANY HAS OFFERED EXPLANATION THAT IT WAS SOCIAL WORK AND THEREFORE REALISATION WERE LESS BUT THE COMPANY HAS NEVER MENTIONED THAT THEY WERE DOING ANY SOCIAL WORK IN THE OFFER LETTER ISSUED AT THE TIME OF ACCEPTING MONEY. THEREFORE VERY SERIOUS MATTER MAY COME UP BEFORE AUDITORS BEFORE CERTIFYING THE BALANCE SHEET OF THE COMPANY. EVEN S.E.B.I. AND INCOME TAX DEPT. WILL CATCH THE COMPANY DIRECTORS FOR THE BLACK MONEY INVOLVEMENT IN THE ABOVE PAYMENT TO INVESTORS. I FEEL THE COMPANY HAS TO FACE LOT OF LITIGATION IN THE YEARS TO COME.

Today I have a telephonic talk with Ms. Shobhaben of the Co. and she told me to submit all the original documents with slip and bank pass book xerox to them and they will pay Rs.2200/- within 15 days from the submission of the paper. The amount will be credited to the bank.

My father was taken 8 unit of GTPL. And we forgot also about GTPL but one day I found a document and I called to him for know status about plantation but they reply you got 1100 rs for one unit. I was surprise that sag value only 1100 how possible. They replied me we also not got value of sag . They are totally fraud. I asked to him you sold sag wood if I want they say yes and they give price is unbelievable. They sold sag wood so why they not give are money?
