I lost my Phone worth 40k inside Gold Gym Palam Vihar (Spanish court) premises. When asked to search through CCTV, they dont have CCTV, lockers. They promised big but did not kept it.
The Owner lies and doesnot keep his words. I am facing huge issue as I need transfer from Gurgaon also. He is not at all cooperative.

Terminated without any reason

Hi Team,
Golds Gym Jabalpur terminated me on Dec 10th without any valid reason. The owner is not responding since the day. They haven't provided me the valid written communication of termination.
Kindly assist in filing the compliant against Gold's Gym Jabalpur (MP) for uncooperative behavior with the valued customer on floor.

I have renewed my gold gym membership in month of Nov 2019, but in March 2020 due to covid they have close the gym without any information they have closed the vashi Navi Mumbai branch and not compensate for the same.

Gold's India - Mulund Branch - Denial to extend membership & refund

Hi Sir/Madam,
I had taken membership in Gold’s Gym – Mulund Branch ( Mumbai, India) on 8th October 2019. However due to the pandemic the gym closed in later half of March 2020 & opening again from tomorrow ie 25th October 2020. The main issue here is the management is insisting the members to renew their membership in order to get the benefit for the months lost due to pandemic. And if someone chooses not to renew then they are not allowed to enter the gym.
So in short I have paid you 18, 000 for just 3-4 months? Since the gym was a new setup, it was fully operational from December only. This is what we should expect from a brand like this? I don’t see any values or ethics in this brand if this is a collective decision from the top management.
If you are going to give me reason of losses due to pandemic, the gym subscribers have had their part of losses too due to this pandemic. This Is not an accepted way of handling clients from a respected brand like you. If you cannot extend the membership then issue a refund for the pandemic period.
Awaiting a satisfactory response from your end at the earliest.

I had taken annual membership on 2nd March 2020 @ 13000 INR, from Gold's Gym Indiranagar, Bengaluru. Due to corona the gym was shut down on March 15th and then after 2 months I was informed that gym is closing permanently. I used my membership only for a week, now they aren't giving refund, Please look into this and help me get back my refund

This is regarding membership and joining issue. I mr. Abhishek chavan had taken membership of your golds gym in august 2019. During august 2019 period there was an offer (Fitkit). I enquired about it at the lower parel branch, india bulls wherein the offer was only till 31st august 2019. Later your staff (Mr. Shiv) called me 2-3 times to join membership during which i discussed regarding my unavailability during the immediate weeks as i had a plan outstation. On this he had assured me that i just need to book my membership before 31st august 2019 to take the benefit of the offer and i can join the gym later. On this, the staff mentioned 5th august 2019 on my membership card.
On 3rd august 2019 i visited lower parel india bulls branch stating that i am out of town so cannot join at least for 2 months. So enter the joining date once i return back.in absence of shiv the present staff communicated that we will do the needful during your joining time.
On 14th november 2019, on my visit at gym and request for updating joining date as i had not attended gym even for a day, mr. Shiv refused to change the joining date.
I have not visited the gym even for a day and have incurred loss. This is not at all suitable for a reputed gym like golds gym. I therefore request you to kindly look into this matter and do the needful at your earliest.

golds gym fraud

This is in regards for the FRAUD, all the members of the gym(including me) have come across.
I had joined the branch (got the membership - Golds ANNUAL Membership) on 8th of MAY 2019.
Just after a month from there, the gym turned up as closed, stating some electricity related issue & notified us that it will remain close for 3 days.
This closure period kept on extending from Owners side.
Till date the GYM is closed & there is no update on it further.
We came to know from an official from other GOLDs GYM branch (Kalyani nagar - Pune) that the lisence of Viman Nagar branch was already terminated 6 months ago.
We find 2 parties responsible for our loss.
1. The Franchise owner of the Viman Nagar Golds Gym Branch
2. The GOLDS GYM CHAIN ITSELF
If the license was previously cancelled, still the owner was considering the new applications & providing the receipt with GOLDS name.
Also GOLDS GYM Franchise is responsible as the GYM premises were pretended to be GOLDS BRANDED in-spite of license getting cancelled.
I have attached my original receipt of the membership I got on paying a sum amount of INR 11, 500.
Also have attached some other photos of GYM premises - refering to closed status.
Kindly look into this case & refund or re-imburse me/the affected us in the best possible way.
If needed, I can/will cascade the details of the affected list of people.

I have enrolled my self on 18th september 2018 by paying 10000 for 1 year
And join jim from october onwards at your andheri east branch marol.
As municipal people have distroyed your jim in marol and your branch no more there in marol and i am not able to attend jim in any other location, so i had requested for refund but nobody responding on email and calls.
Please take this on priority and accept the refund request.

membership transfer

They gave us the provision to transfer the membership in any other centers of them in india, despite of having valid reasons and yearly package they are not transferring the same and instead of processing they are ignoring our mails and calls.
They misbehaved on phone and disconnected it in mid of the conversation
Such a cheap and unacceptable behavior of that guy (Himanshu from golds gym thakur village kandivali east mumbai). It happened in last week of july.
Remember body is built by discipline, consistency, determination and proper instruction, but not by a overrated gym like gold's gym. There are hell lot of other gyms who are far better than the gym like this

I have been in ganeshguri gold's gym from the last 3years. The members are very friendly. I get a good ambience. But over the last three years i have faced these problem, which you usually dont find in a world class franchise. Steam does not work most of the time through out the year, geyser have been switched off since last week, sometimes water line stops working. Floor trainers. Helpers are hard to find, only assists specific members.

Mr pardeep doesn't know how to talk he doesn't have any manners i don't think such people should be hired. I was wish something could be done about him. This is not the first complaint against mr pardeep i read may complaints about him. I hope you guys hire good trainer who have manners and know how to talk please gold gym sec 14 take action against him. Or this going to be my last week here and i would suggest everyone not join this gym.

I am member of golds gym phagwara punjab dist kapurthala. My complaint is regarding time at 11:00 am the staff starts saying that now gents time is over you may leave the gym its ladies time from 11:00-1:00pm.. This rule is only in this gym not anywhere else we also pay proper fees to the gym and we have full rights to stay there so please see to it

Jp nagar gold gym is very unprofessional.
1) the manager "rudresh" hires all his relatives and friends and because of which those who are hired they keep on hiding from doing there work as they can't be questioned by upper management.
2) trainer "puneet" is one of those relatives/friends of his (Rudresh). This trainer (Puneet) always gives excuses of why is unable to provide the pt for that particular day.
For eg: he will say - i'm in meeting
3) and because of above reason once the membership of pt expires then this manager and trainer asks us to pay again. (Manager is not ready to listen that trainer was not available because of which membership got expired. Only because he is his relatives/friend)
Important note: please research about this manager rudresh and check with whom you are taking pt. The trainer should not be the manager's relatives/friends. Or else your it will waste of money without getting any result.
Suggestion: don't join gold's gym jpnagar branch-560078

This is regarding gold gym gurgaon haryana branch mg road sector 14
I took membership for a year with gold gym sector 14. I was a member of gold gym since january2014.
1. This is the first ever gym iv joined in my life.
I was not given a introductory trainer no one guided me to understand the importance of personal trainer. As I was not guided or convinced I dint hire a trainer. So I used to workout according to a workout card or classes at the gym. I was given a diet chart in four month after I complained to director. The reception and head trainer are highly uncoordinated . I understand and i am educated to know about healthy stuff but they should have guided me about protein content in a diet if a person is training in a gym.
2. I experienced anterior knee pain in both knees in mid May after workouts and I asked head Trainer Mr Pradeep, he jus told me to reduce cardio, no one checked me or guided me.I saw a doctor subsequently got interferential therapy took a month rest rejoined gym .
3. I again got pain after 15 days workout . I asked gold gym physiotherapist she dint even had courtesy to listen to me.
I saw a sports doctor and and he asked me which low class gym i had joined y the trainers din't guide me or checked me. He told me i have tight muscles further advised xray . After 2 appointments after seeing xray and all he advised me to exercise as i had tight muscles and told me stretches exercises before and after workout . I asked 2 trainers to guide me how to workout . They told me I can exercise on machine and in 2 days I got severe radiating knee pain. After those 2 days I left gym. I had to leave my job as a dentist which required more of standing.
4. I saw 2 more doctors got more blood, imaging tests and diagnosis . After having 8 weeks of painkillers and over a month o[censored]ltrasound therapy my pain wasn't settling so I consulted some good trainers from delhi they visited me n guided me that you don't have to workout in tight muscles it causes injury which happened with me. They guided me of ways and helped me in some relief.
5. None of the gold gym sector 14 trainer guided me about anything . The GOLD gym trainers are highly unqualified with lack of basic knowledge. None of them guided me not to workout in tight muscle it will give injury.
6. If the head trainer would have guided me in may i would have not got injury. Even the physiotherapist at gold never guided me.
7. Highly unqualified trainers physiotherapist this is not expected of a brand name like GOLD .
8. It's December and iv been suffering since August and inspite of painkillers and being under multiple physiotherapy modalities i am yet to recover of acute knee pain.
9. I had a talk with Mr Pradeep in December and he tells me he can't check tight muscles i should go and tell if i have tight muscles did he teach me how to check tight muscle . His trainers and physiotherapist lack knowledge and he expects me to know . My doctor checked it for me . His physiotherapist lacks knowledge how can he expect me to know . This is the first gym i joined in life they should have educated or guided me. Isn't GYM ALL ABOUT MUSCLES. PLZ tell Mr Pradeep to Google .
10. If any of the trainer or physiotherapist would have guided educated me I would have never had injury . Even after 5 month of physiotherapy presently also I am under physiotherapy. I have to limp to walk I can't walk much I can't sit for long in a position I can't even stand for long. My life has become a hell . I have wasted my money joining this gym . I have ruined my life my future my career . Joining GOLD GYM is the biggest regret of my life.
11.Please look into this matter and hire some qualified trainers with some knowledge . Otherwise brief new members who have no knowledge not to join this gym and risk there lives . Join at own risk. Please if you cant improve the scenario shut down this gym to save lives. This is not expected of a brand like GOLD.

I faced similar experience while working at gold's Gym. Its hard to believe how uneducated trainers are hired in such corporate training centres. Totally miserable!
