I purchased ford ecosport last year 2021 and I got good year tyres with it but after one year one tyre have bubble issue. After complaining to good year customer care and got a call from his representative and asked to verify tyre to one of the good year outlet shop. They told me car hit in pothole so that your car’s tyre got internal cut and that’s why it is not in warranty and they are providing 30% discount on purchasing new tyres. I told them how to decide to tyre’s cut from my faults? I never hit the car in pothole, it can be manufacturing defect….one more funny thing, outlet owner told me if you purchase tyre from my shop then I will give 100% unconditional warranty. I am totally upset from Good year as well as outlet….

I have purchased new tyre from Shri Laxi Tyres Showroom Tugalpur market, Greater noida, during the purchasing they said your old one tyre claim amount will be credited within 15days from the dated 24/03/2021, Tax invoice no.6352, to till date they didn't pay, whereas so many phonecalls and followup with the above said vendor and due not receiving response from supplier then we register complaint in Goodyear customer-care portal on website against our complaint no. E[protected], dated 09/06/2021, then one new person contact with us Mr. Uday Delhi they had given assurance that your payment will be done within a week. But after that he has also failured and misleading to me and said again and again today will be done your either tomorrow will be done but still we are waiting the for the our one small claim amount. So think on it and resolve to this with payment.

I purchased a tyre from gud year number 2316 which blast while I driving my car on road please raise my complaint and arrange new tyre agaist this one as par your warranty policy.

In only 5000 Km, my Car's 2 tyres have got defected with cut on each tyre.

And there is no replacemnt.

I have bought new two pair of good year tyres for my i20 car but facing issue and have a bad feedback.
Need my tyre to be replaced
As again and again my car's tyre getting punctured
Even my car is not running
Please explain me the reason other wise I have to raise a consumer complaint.

Please revert back and resolve my issue

I'm very happy for sending me message from your custom care phone no.Very surprising, i registered th complaint on 27th Oct & company send me the message on 10 th Nov informing inspection of tyres on the same day without mentioning any stipulated timing may be company is taking me for granted &thinking I will be waiting for the whole day at Dealers shop Ashoka Wheels Nasik Road hoping your technical man who is so arrogant &mannerless, he didn't even knew how to talk to ur esteemed (?, that is what I suppose every Good Year customer is for the Company)Let me explain you the whole thing what happened with me to you, on August 2018 i purchased 2 Good Year tyres & on Oct 2020 when I inspected it found while driving the vehicle was running on one side totally imbalanced due to bent Good Year tyres.During Covid 19 in Lock down i couldn't use the car for almost 8 months.The total running of the after purchasing 2 brand new Good Year tyres was hardly 18000 km, when ur technical assistant Mr Saurabh inspected the tyres straight way jump to the conclusion there is no manufacturing detect &the purchaser is sole responsible for the damage of tyre rejecting on the ground of total replacement warranty can be availed &granted within the 2 years from the date of mfg & ignoring the fact that this vehicle is not used during lockdown period & th only fault of mine is I didn't complained within warranty period which is next to impossible because the dealers shop was closed during this period.Im surprised how you can send me such message of inspection of tyres when u had already rejected my request&insulting me through your technical support Mr Saurabh, u made me fool once so don't try to make me fool again because you might be knowing u can make people fool sometimes but not eveytime.

Bhavsar - i have ciaz delta - registration number gj 27bs 2840 - purchased 06.01.2020 - having company provided tyre - present meter reading 40800 - while lock down in march 2020 had puncher in rear left tyre then i replaced spare wheel and kept old tyre as spare wheel - last week when i saw my old tyre then having air in tyre - in lock down period not drive car - please find refer attached tyre photographs for your reference.

Request you to help me out to solve problem.

My car has running of around 3600 km total. I changed my tyre and use new stapny provided after 2000 km. While travelling in city new tyre got busted in a week. I complained Goodyear customer care they assigned spokesman nearest to my area. After duscussing the issue with him and sharing all photos he promised me to provide replacement after seeing my total running and tyre condition. So I send my broken tyre by transport to nearest tata service center which is around 200 km from my area and he eventually rejected my claim made by tata service team on my behalf. When I called him again he said he is going to arrange 50%claim in next 30 min and never pick my phone again. In addition to loss of tyre he make me to loose extra 500 rs for transport and my time also. I was going to cover the same in my car insaurane but believing him I decided not to claim it there.

My car tyres are expanding. Its a complete waste buying your tyres. I have not travel more than 20000 kms and all of my tyres except stepney are waste. There is no major wear and nothing that look suspicious. Still they arr increaseing in the size

I have purchased the new car from the showroom and has run 30000km.
But the problem is the tyre grids are ok but very thin wires are coming outside in 4 tyres. And pressure is decreasing. I am helpless as there is no authorised dealer near my location.

My self darshan pawar i bought new good year tyres for scorpio it's in warranty and tyre got burst/side cut dealer took 3 weeks to arrange an engineer for the inspection.
After calling your call centre finally i myself have arranged an engineer. Finally, your engineer arrived for the inspection. Now he is saying that you won't get a replacement coz it's your fault. How could be it's my fault? (It's a new tyre)

Kindly look into this matter and let me know so that i will start the further process of consumer court.

My self jitendra kumar and i have brought new tata nexon xm modal car one year back in which company provided good years tyres from last one year. I have not found any query regarding tyres but last month front left tyre was damaged due to air bubble occurs in it which i came to acknowledge to the authorized dealer of good year at ahmadabad (Shah patel tyres) but i have got very irresponsible feedback from good year engineer and showroom, 15 days ago my car was punctured and now after repairing the same i am unable to use it due to air bubbled
So my question is that is this the way you treat your valuable customer i want proper solution of this matter otherwise i have to be involved in legal action if good year tyres provides us this type of facility and if things not shorted out immediately then company has to replace it with new one at any cost.

I have purchased new skoda rapid from sagar autotech pvt. Ltd with goodyear tyres. Within 10 months and around 5000 km, my tyre got damaged by itself while running and finally i shown my tyre at service station, they said its not manufacturing defect. How come it is not manufacturing defect that tyre got damaged within 5000km when the manufacturer give warranty for 40000km. This shows the quality of the goodyear tyres. They forced me to buy the tyre with own money, but just reduction 30% of price. The price of tyre in the online shows to the price of the showroom price (After 30%). That's mean the goodyear warranty person still cheating the customer with the price. Please understand my issue and help me.

We have purchased tata tigor top model petrol on 7th of this month from wasan motors borivali. I got invoice of 6th of november, don' t know why.
On 9th of november, in just two days my left side tyres get cut. When i complaint about this to showroom and service center they had given me goodyear tyres customer care number where i had logged complaint. As per executive schedule, he met me in one goodyear tyres shop in kharghar. And he refuse to give replacement of tyres by giving reason cut is not comes under warranty. I was like, wth is this. Did i cut it by knife?
If you are new car owner, you may understand that we people even doesn't drive car with maximum speed. We maintain speed in between 40 to 50 km.
I my accept his reason if my car is one year old. Someone from that showroom told me that tata have used low level quality tyres of goodyear which we even dont sell. Wth is it.
This is sole responsibility if i come across any accident because of tyres.in photos also you can see that 1 cm tyre cut is now 2 cm. And day by day its increasing.
Tata motors or goodyear tyres must give replacement to me.

This has the reference to my several complaints regarding bursting of tyre of newly purchased car. The car has not run even 300 kms and less than 1 month old. On contacting the car dealer I was told that the warranty of tyre is covered by tyre manufacturing company. I approached the tyre company and lodge my complaint for replacement of tyre. After many reminders the company executive called me at a place in Ghaziabad and after the inspection he told that the claim can not be processed and rejected as per the policies of the company. After inspecting the Tyre he stated that the Tyre had busted due to impact and was ruptured at two places from sideways. In this connection I would like to mention that prior to the inspection I had approached to the dealer of car manufacturing company as well as one of the authorized dealers of said tyre company at Noida. The authorised tyre dealer told me that he could have replaced the said Tyre, free of cost if it would have been purchased from him. As the said Tyre was not purchased from the dealer and I have no warranty in lieu of damaged Tyre, the Tyre is liable to be replaced either by dealer or by Tyre manufacturing company. On contacting car dealer, he said the warranty of Tyre is covered by the manufacture. On passing this information to the individual who had inspected the tyre, he stated that if I am holding a warranty certificate, the same could have been replaced by him too. I have purchased this new car from Prime Honda, Vaishali, Ghaziabad and no separate warranty was available to me. It is surprising that tyre manufacturing company is maintaining dual standards. Is the company is passing on substandard Tyre to car manufacturing companies so that the company is not held responsible if it is damaged. Otherwise what is the cause that the same Tyre is replaceable under all conditions of damage but not if it is company fitted Tyre. My new car has not done even 500 km when the Tyre got damaged and I have not made any accident or over speeding. The Tyre got busted while driving through a road side crater/dig which is surely due to manufacturing defect. I have not encountered such problem with either of tyres, tubeless or otherwise. It is also sad that Tyre manufacturing company is passing on responsibility to Car Company and Car Company vice versa. I am approaching consumer court for claim in lieu of damaged Tyre and compensation for harassment.

I am Hiren Thakkar - Ahmedabad - mobile no :[protected] I have purchased Goodyear 4 tyres and tubes on date : 19/10/2014 (Sunday) from V J Tyres - Drive In Road - Ahmedabad on very next day that is on 20/10/2014 1 tube and tyre was brust due to leakage of valve tube and i have complaint to v j tyre and credied tyre and tube to v j tyre please do needful for replacement of tyre and tube further yesterday 23/10/2014 the same problem is arise valve tube leakage in 2 more tyre the same is informed to v j tyre on phone . i have faced too much difficulty in a festival days. there fore you are requested to do needful for replacement of tubes and tyres as early as possible.

In reference to the above my unsolved negative reply complaints, I am very sad and depress to get this type of reply from your engineer Mr. Vipul Barot Cell No – [protected] for both tyres. His reply is looking like suspected & Cheap.
I want to focus following points on your kind information.

1. I am holding Honda City Car ZX Model and purchased from Landmark Honda by paying Rs.9,00,000/- on date[protected].
2. I am using it for my personal use and 90% using in Ahmedabad city, and I am holding 3 cars.
3. I have use this car for 25,000 Kms only in 2 years.
4. I am very surprise to see that your good year tyre both is getting on rejection position, its M.S.Bar is also come outside of Rubber Portion and Rubber-Belt.
5. Both the tyres are badly damage and in worst position without my driving fault.
Your engineer Mr. Vipul says that our Radial Belts are getting rust problems and moiusture problem due to atmosphere effect.
6. He is using technical word and technical foolish argument with me like Nail Trade Cut & Neglated through Cut.. I don’t know this type of language, but I am very sad to hear this from your engineer and reputed as well as huge tie-up of company.
7. Now I hope and expect full replacement of my both tyres and reply favourable answer from your company within 7 days from this mail and letter dated

After 7 days I will inform my Honda City Car Company for this type of Poor tie up company and also take action with Consumer forum & (CERC) & Gujarat and District Grewances Department of Gujarat also, because I am innocent in this case. By the way moisture and rust problem is not man made problem.

So, I hope your early and favourable action in this regards.

I purchased a tyre for my car approx 2 months back which has developed bulge and has lost shape. There is no cut on the tyre which speaks of manufacturing defect. When approached, the dealer gave me a number an SMS number 56767. Despite trying hard for several days, SMS never goes on this number. I also logged a complaint on the goodyear company website almost 10 days back. Nobody has contacted me either at mobile or given email i.d.

I donot know how such an old company with an acclaimed global profile can go so indifferent towards after sale service and their consumer concerns.

For sure, they need to look into complaint redressal services more promptly in ever rising competitive world.

I had purchased SKODA OCTAVIA in janurary 2010,after the delivery of the car i checked my car's extra tyre(stephny) at home. the tyre was in empty air condition.i told about this to the sidak automobiles karnal, they check the tyre the new tyre ws bleeding air due to high pressure leakege in tyre.they complaint to good year company, after 10 days good year service man came to the visit & made a wrong behave with me & said that the tyre is puncture & then i told him that how it can be puncture i never used this tyre & its brand new. after a long talk he was agree to give claim my complaint he given me a letter of company & told me to change the tyre from any of the dealer of good year, but every dealer of good year is corrupt, i called kurukshetra,kaithal,karnal & other cities but every dealer was saying that he is not the proper dealer of company. they were ready to give me new tyre for sale purpose only, but they refused to give the tyre against my complaint.i called many times to customer care, but they have only talkies not any action. if i m suffering from that condition due to my new tyre problem, old tyres complaints check hoti bhi hongi yaa nahi. please resolve my problem. i shall be thankful to you for this

Respected Sir,
I am the owner of MAHINDRA LOGAN CAR MH-43-V-7131.

The tyres are of Goodyear company.
my one tyer is blast in running of car and i purchase the tyer 15 days before blast its a new brand tyer, the tyer blast on bombay-pune express highway smooth road and this is a manufacturing defect.
i told the dealer as the same froblem he is not giving me positive responce he said its not my folt,
alredy i spoke with your goodyear co. excutive He told that he is not free he will look after 15 days if he got free,

I am not satisfied with quality of Goodyear Tyre and your company services.

I need that immediately tyres of other company are provided.I am mentally and financially harrassed from last 2 months.

If immediatiately my problem is not sort out I will register compaint againt GOODYEAR not only in CONSUMER FORUM but also in COURT.
