Recently my pet dog is vomiting then i goto government veterinary hospital Alipur Delhi 110036, But the staff said that you have to purchase medicine and needles from chemist but they never use that medicine. after that they use government supply If they have proper supply why they didnot use. May be their commission is fixed with private chemist. One of the staff told me that one more drip and injection need in evening so he came to my house and give the injection but after taking 500 Rs. for every visit for one week. i have to pay because of my pet's life, but i want to ask is this not a cruelty, if someone didnot able to pay 500 daily + 300 for medicine how can safe our pets please consider it for save the lifes of pets ASAP

Doctor asked us to buy medicine from nearby medical shop

My dog stepped on glass and bleeding so badly so i take my dog to the nearby goverment veterinary hospital(townhall, Coimbatore) for treatment. Doctor asked me to buy anesthesia for my dog from nearby medical shop, he said they don't have stock if I don't buy anesthesia he would only give my dog a septic injection. He didn't bother looking at the wound until i bought him the medicine which he asked. Two gloves and two bandages for 60rs and Anesthesia costs 1500rs for one bottle, but he used 5ml for my dog and keep the extras. And for cleaning up he asked me to pay extra 75rs to the office (he said it was a operation). I spent around 2k for one day in government hospital so, what is the difference between government hospital and private hospital?

Medicine not available for animals and doctor never present at hospital only compounder is present.

Ward 01 dhobgama Pusa Samastipur 848128. I am anonymous from this given address in this address there is an veterinary hospital but when I visit hospital for some medicine for my cow there is no doctor available in the hospital only a compounder is present there and he said " doctor sahab rahenge tabhi koi medicine milega hamlog ko medicine Dene ka allow nahi hai" i visited hospital again after 2 days but again doctor is not present there and I came back after few days I again visited and I found doctor is present but I asked him for medicine for my cow they said medicine is not available and I returned why government opened veterinary hospital of they don't have sufficient amount of medicine for cow. And worst doctors please do any action on this hospital and on doctors. And I know I get no response on my complaint thanks for wasting my time. The complain is for veterinarian dr. ABC a government veterinarian posted in Bhowali, Nainital. He was not able to diagnose my pet street dog's jaundice during the check-up on 4th September 2022 at government veterinary hospital, bhowali and as a result of his negligence my pet died. He disregarded any possibilities of the disease even when the symptoms were clear....

I have been to government veterinary hospital - gunjur varthur Bangalore 560087.
The veterinary doctor by name Dhanuja
Says their is no supplements for dog or pet vaccines from the government and she claims to be so kind and generous that she is getting the vaccine from the private organisations and charging
Money for the vaccination Rs1200.
This is silly and fishy I couldn't believe this so here I'm leaving a notice so that the authorised or responsible person would consider this as a complaint.
And take an immediate action for violating the rules.

Rude doctors
I went with my puppy Doberman, she had an open wound on the side behind her legs . They refused to treat my dog and when I stared arguing they wrote rejected on my papers . This is pure negligence and senior doctors like dr.badane and dr. Ram are doing in the hospital puts numerous lives of animals at stake . We expect empathy and respect for our animals and we shall give back the same to the doctors in service . But few doctors like these people put everyone to shame .

Asking money for vaccine

My dogs are 65 days old, I was taking them to put vaccine. The vaccine should be available free of cost at government facilities, and in private clinics and hospitals only charge for the vaccine.
But in kelambakkam Government Veterinary Hospital - They asked money for each vaccine at Rs.650 and the hospital opened in only one hour.
I really don't know why they ask money for the vaccine and not open the hospital full time. I request you to please take action on this.
We always need your help. I hope, soon I'll get help from you.

Bribe : charging for vaccination fee
As far as I know, a gov. veterinary hospital's fee for vaccination is upto 250 INR but the doctor charges more than 500 INR for every vaacination which is wrong. No one make complain against it I dnt understand these people seriously. Nor they guys (doctor & compounder) have any fear for any random audit (or I would say there is no audit ever happened).
The cost of vaccination outside is lesss than 200 INR and in a gov. hospital becomes more than 500 INR. HOWWWW?????
Just hoping these guys should be screwed and suspended for this illegal practice.
I see so many complains but no actions so far... seriously, this is what we talk about MERA INDIA.. ###!!

incompetence and ignorance of veterinarian.

The complain is for veterinarian dr. Rajiv gupta a government veterinarian posted in bagaha, west chaparan. He was not able to diagnose my pet labrador retriever's parvo - virus during the check-up on 10th february 2018 at government veterinary hospital, bettiah and as a result of his negligence my pet died. He disregarded any possibilities of the disease even when the symptoms were clear.

Free Medicines not available in Hospital

I Went to Government veterinary hospital which is located in Chengalpattu to put vaccination injection for my puppy
.In that hospital they have clearly mentioned that medicines to be sold in free of cost.But they are asking to buy and bring the medicines from medical shop.
In private clinic, they are asking Rs.400 to put this injection
Price of that medicine in medical shop is Rs.380
Is this the difference between Government & Private hospitals...?
Am i a rich guy if i have a puppy...?

I am Manjula from Mettupalayam. My dog has been suffering from stroke and diarrhea. So we went to Mettupalayam government veterinary hospital on 9 th August 2021. The doctor and compounder treated us very bad and shouting at us. They did not give any prescription when we asked. They refused to even tell the name of the injection they gave to my dog. The compounder shouted at us like " why are you people coming for treatment here".
When we asked what food to give for the dog, doctor carelessly replied that give what ever you want. Three days( 9, 10, 11 th of August) we went to hospital. Third day they shouted at us at 12.00 pm that they will work only till 12 pm and not beyond that and asked us to come next day. They work only 3 to 4 hours in morning and not at all evening. We were literally pleading with them for our dog's treatment. The doctor never checked nor even touched my dog. He never stood from his chair. He was sitting in the chair and writing something. No other patients were there at that time. Even then they did not pay attention to what we were saying.
We lost our dog the very next day. Still I am not able to come out from the sorrow. We lost our dog due the carelessness of the doctor and compounder. They did not tell what happened to my dog. They want us to move out of the hospital as soon as possible. We were struggling to get the treatment from them.
Please take necessary actions against them. They are playing with the life of voiceless animals. They neither want to save the animals nor give them any basic treatment. They just chit-chat and shout at people who are already suffering due to their pet's condition. We recorded our entry to hospital in their note. Please take actions against them and save the life of other voiceless creatures.
