Delay in Loan Disbursement
We were working with HDFC officials Praveen Kumar ([protected]@gmail.com), Krishna (krishna.[protected]@hdfcbank.com) for Home Loan. As a account holder of the bank I did not expect such a poor experience. We had to request the bank multiple times to provide right guidance on documentation - 3 different people claiming 3 different set of instructions. I have tried bank website complaints, request a call back- grievance redressal- all to no avail. For past 45 days odd so we are being told- next 7 days. someone fell ill - next 7 days. Rain- next 7 days. It's ridiculous that bank calling everyday to give loan in just minutes is taking months because of an inefficient mechanism in place. We want to withdraw our loan application and move on to another bank but a few originals are also with the employees. I hope this gets their attention!

NOC for co-applicant name change is taking forever causing financial loss

I have an ongoing Home loan with HDFC Housing Development Finance Co bearing the account number[protected], my father expired on 31st Nov 2020 who was also the co-applicant for my flat at Riverside, HIlands Greens, Batanagar, Maheshtala, West Bengal 7000140, now i submitted a written application to HDFC Housing office at HDFC LTD., Merlin Estates, 25/8, Diamond Harbour Rd, near Janakalyan School, Kolkata, West Bengal 700008 on 04/03/2022 requesting for NOC and change of co-applicant name .from my father to my eldest brother . Since 04/03/2022 i haven't got any update neither through email or phone about the status of my application . It has been over 2 months it is pending and due to this my flat handover is delayed .
This causing financial loss to myself to due HDFC delay in producing an NOC which i think should be provided maximum within 2-3 weeks time.

Foreclousure Charges on Home Top Up Loan
My Name is Sagar and My loan Account Number is[protected] I have been charged 2% plus GST on My Top up Loan on Home Loan which is completely unprofessional and looting kind of behavior from HDFC Ltd. When My loan was Sanctioned it was clearly told me that there will not be any foreclosure charges on top up amount and now I understand that i have been charged the same.
I am holding your DSA code also I have given many loan to HDFC and in return I see this kind of Behavior,
I am going to transfer all my customer loan to Other Banks because of this bad consumer experience.
Moreover I am your customer since last Seven years with regular payment of EMI and at the End if I see this kind of behavior. I am never ever going to take any loan from HDFC in Future.

Worst experience with hdfc ltd, home loan

My name is Jai Prakash Sharma, Having Loan A/C #[protected]. I’m one of the customer who is exploited & completely frustrated by HDFC Home Loan Services & Support including HDFC Sec-18 branch service. Below are incidences:
1. My Loan approval it selves took more than 3 months and that too, no regular updates were there from any of your executives or partners. I was very unfortunate that my case or loan approval was via your partner SMC Investments. There I dealt with two great person in this world a) Chandra Shekhar Kumar Singh & Harish Sharma. Initially Harish was dealing with my case, where he visited me and collected documents on time and in between he get lost without any update with his personal reasons. I wasn’t having any update in between where my files are etc & to which stages. Once fine day after a month or so he requested his good friend Mr Chandra Shekhar Kumar Singh, who update me the status as he is also chasing Harish but having no contact. So he will start fresh and after then few exchange of emails and then finally got the loan approved. I got the intimation & mail from HDFC that I can get the 1st disbursement any time in Dec’15. I applied loan in Sept’15 and got approval in end of Nov’15. Absolutely great service.
2. After that no follow-up’s for next steps on disbursement. As customer I may not be knowing the process, one day I called your call center and they updated you have to submit all set of originals documents etc along with some notarized documents etc and for the same SMC folks will help/get it done for me. When I said I don’t have any clue that from where these stamp papers and notarization has to be done and this should be get done by the partner SMC Investments. But Mr Chandra Shekhar Kumar Singh stated to me that these are basic formalities which customer need to arrange by him selves. He can only share the format etc, rest all running to notary has to be done by customer. My concern – if customer has to done all these then, what the …. SMC is there for? Just for commission. I arranged the notarized documents by help of some of my friends and spent around Rs 600/- on stamp papers. I my self filled whatever I could based on documents shared on stamp papers.
One fine day Mr Harish appears and said, that he was stuck in his personal problems and now he will help. He came to me and I explained all above. He said that I don’t have to arrange the documents he will get this done for me. He said Chandra Shekhar Kumar Singh don’t know and he is not a customer friendly guy. I asked him that I already spent my money & energy on the same. He said leave that (all my spending gone for a toss). Now since the stamp papers I purchased were printed with the format share I can’t use them for any other purpose too. He arranged again all papers. This delay another 15 – 20 days. Finally I got a mail that now I have to visit Sec – 18, Noida branch to collect Cheque. I visited and there they sold me another policy where they said it’s covering/protecting your home loan in case of any misshap.
3. Great, but when I got the policy on the policy no where it’s mentioned about any loan number, which could give me a confidence that this policy is liked for protecting my loan repay. I’m seriously thinking to take this to consumer court.
4. Finally I get my loan 1st disbursement done on 07 Dec’15
5. Another awesome experience, was yesterday & today which seriously was (no words). I got a mail for my 2nd disbursement check will be ready by 05 Jan’16, go and collect. I called your call center 4 to 5 times on 05 Jan’16 and they kept responding “We are closed”. HDFC have only one contact[protected]. Then today morning I called call center and they said visit Sec-18 branch today. I visited your branch exactly at 5:20 PM on 06 Jan’15. Branch main door closed. There were no one to hear or allow the exception of 5 minute to let me in the branch. I came from Greater Noida and that’s not near by to Sec 18, it’s 25KM away and I hire taxi to come but no one listed there. Some how I got access to a gentleman name Ajay & the person sits on reception, requested him with all due respect but both of them said there office timings changed from 9:15 am to 5:15 pm. Why will they extend days for me. I understand HDFC is into great customer service, they don’t understand the customer’s pain. When I requested to talk to the Branch Manager, no one let me speak to him, all said he is busy. When I asked the contact number no one shared. Luckly one gentleman share his email id as [protected]@hdfc.com, hence I thought, let me approach. I sent him a mail and awaiting revert. Not sure, if any of the HDFC back-end team, knows customer service or it matters for them. Unfortunately I have to come back.
Now please let me know what should I do?
1. No one at HDFC taking ownership of loan approval delay
2. No one at HDFC takes/bothers the loss of my spending (money & peace both)
3. No one at HDFC cares one’s customer onboard, just sell him anything
4. No one at HDFC bother if customers comes to collect the cheque from whatever location, if he is late by minute, let him suffer.
Please share your thoughts and help me escalate to your higher authorities.

Based on my recent experience as an NRI Home Loan customer (LAN#[protected], let me tell you that HDFC Customer Grievance Redressal is "COMPLETE JOKE".
The whole idea of HDFC to make it seem to the world that they care for the customer by having the Grievance Redressal Cell on their internet Home page. However, the underlying goal is to give the customer a typical Indian bureaucratic style run-around their system; then revert with a cut & dry standard response citing HDFC company policy non-sense; the funny part is the verbiage of the response in no way will directly address the grievance posted by the customer.
Finally customer gets frustrated, bangs his head against the dream "HOME" wall and gives up. HDFC has handled the grievance successfully...LOL.
Here is what I got when I posted my grievance. Don't be surprised you get the same ride and don't increase your blood pressure brooding over this nice set-up by HDFC.
1. A standard e-mail saying "We would like to share with you that HDFC Bank, under an arrangement, sources home loans for HDFC Ltd. The loans are then sanctioned and disbursed by HDFC Ltd. You are henceforth requested to be in touch with Aditya Rao ([protected]@hdfc.com) for resolution of your query/complaint."
2. Emailing Aditya Rao will never get you a response directly from him. I am not even sure if he really exists. Seems to be a another black box email ID that HDFC uses to make it apparent to the customer that they have assigned a dedicated person to redress the grievance. I am sure Aditya Rao's email then get either auto forwarded to a bunch of guys at HDFC who apparently are Aditya Rao's clones.
3. Finding no response, customer will need to find out that there is complaint page where s/he needs to posts the complaint.
4. There is no acknowledgement to the complaint you submit online. Then, some local HDFC customer service guy with no designation or location will respond to you grievance in one of their standard templates by just changing the amount and loan number details. Basically, telling, go screw yourself and listen to what we say.

help me how can i do complain against these guys to do fraud like this

1 - I was looking for a home loan above 50L. Somehow I received a number of HDFC manager named ( Rajesh Zalte ) I called this person and explained him that I have been getting a home loan from axis bank over 46L. And I am expecting somewhere close to 50L every thing was been informed to Rajesh. Setting up an expectation that I am looking for a loan amount of 50L Rajesh gave me a number of one of his colleagues named ( Sandip Ingavale ) next day Sandeep comes to my place stating we will get all the process completed today and I did explained him the same thing again saying I’m looking for a loan amount above or close to 50, 00, 00 he said I will put your file for 51, 00, 00 rupees but now as I have received the sanction amount of 43, 00, 00 only where in I have already received 46, 00, 00 as a sanctioned amount from axis bank even after explaining all the situation to the HDFC manager Rajesh and Sandeep both said that they will get close to 50, 00, 00 but was not been done hence I am requesting for a refund now The manager is saying that you can speak to Sandeep about it and Sandeep says he can only give me 50% of refund and rest I will need to bear myself I request HDFC bank to give me a call and my refund should be initiated as soon as possible there are few more incident that has happened which I could not explain over email so please do give me a call back my number is [protected] I am expecting a call back as soon as possible thank you

Yes same case is with me.My home loan renovation account number is[protected].My loan was sanctioned on 16th june 2022.But manager not disbursed till 23rd june.So i complaint against him on customer care.When i complaint against my manager, he changed the head of my renovation loan to topup and threatened me go in court. You can do anything with me. Customer complaint will come to me.There is no top management role. I m only top management.He told me all complaints will come to me nothing u can do.Please escalate my complaints to higher authority if someone can help me in this matter so that i can got my renovation loan not the topup.
