This is how home center india cheat it's customers.

We ordered a bedframe with a hope of good quality but pathetic service experience with homecenter bigbrand people..
Because of the bedframe quality loopholes the bed frame didn't survive even a month and then they talk about improper maintenance and not considering the 1year warranty period.
This is what we chose ur brand for? Complete dissatisfaction.
What all things covered under warranty?

Sent 4 emails but no one cares for replying on time. When we got a call from the team for delivering the news that
Replacement can't be done because of improper maintenance. What is improper handling in a month time? Is it a 100/- purchase. When i asked the rep to escalate the matter and let me talk to the supervisor or someone higher in authority he just said sorry u need to mail to [protected]@homecenter id and someone will revert. Is this the way they make the customer feel like he just keep waiting for the reply?

It's not a 100/- thing it's a furniture and they are making the customer responsible for the cheap quality.
Our last bed furniture we sold off after 20 years and this one didn't service even a month.

Disappointed big time...

    I placed an order with home centre, bangalore on april 29th (Order#[protected]) for a total of rs.2984. Cancelled the order on april 29th as the order was not ready for pick up on specified date as promised over email communication.
    After multiple followups, they partially refunded the amount (Rs.419 on april 29th, rs.548 on june 17th and rs.419 on july 9th), i had to literally call them for each refund. Its been 3 months since i have cancelled the order and they are not bothered to refund the other half amounting to rs.1598.
    The customer care is so poor in service that they disconnect my call every time i call them.
    Purchased 1 sofa set on[protected] from home centre trichy pay made by hdfc debit card;discount was offered if payment is made thro' hdfc card; but till date no discount is received by me

      I have an issue with the leather sofa purchased from chennai home centre which is under warranty.. Placed a complaint.. Two people came to check accepted that there is a manufacturing defect took some pictures and left. I had a cal from the start gentleman who was totally in careless language said its a natural tendency off leather to be so and nothing can be done and he didn't allow me to speak answering in his own loud tone... My sofs is under warranty and i expect either repair or replacement.. And i am extremely upset the way the person spoke.
      I have reached to this portal mainly for the way the person spoke.. Thats not the way to deal with a client... I have spent a lot of my money believing their marketing techniques.. And i don't deserve this...

        I have purchased a product from mall of india noida store. I have been misguided by them. I was ready to wait till 30 april., 2019 for the combo offer on the table. They told me it will not come and made me buy it on 19 april. Offer has come today is 27 april. I want refund of 6000. I am not that rich. U have cheated me. The staff is highly misguiding and their online toll free executives have just one answer to everything we can't do it we can't do it. That s all they know.

          I am writing this mail on behalf of my client. Mrs Rupal Kothari.
          We had brought a Bed & dresser from your R-Mall Ghatkopar store.

          Received a damaged dresser in Dec 2018, till date i am waiting to get a replacement for the same its been more than a month now...and i am still waiting
          Your team randomly calls when they are at the door. My clients house is closed as of now as they dont stay here & i need to organise a person to be there when your team reaches the site ...

          i Received a call on 25th Jan morning that the material will reach site in between 2 to 5 pm, which did not reach.. again today your team calls that they would reach site in an hrs times.. This has been happening for last 3 to 4 time atleast. i am highly disappointed the services provided by your team...& lack of commitment..

          Looking forward for you to sort this at the earliest...
          The only request i that i need 1 day advance notice of the delivery ..

            I have placed an order on 14th nov. After not receiving it in 2 weeks, i registered a complaint. They cancelled my order. I asked them to return the refund in my account and they asked for the credentials also. But i have not received my refund. I have called them more then 5 times, sent messages on facebook and over email also but no positive response. The only response i get is we will look into this. Its been more than 2 months now.
            I call them every other day but they are not doing anything.
            Sir, I am facing the same issue, refund pending. Did you receive the refund to your bank account ?

              Payment taken twice online as well as at the time of dilevry chasing from almost 3 months no proper response. Nor seniors come on call no response to multiple emails sent

              I had purchased glasses online from home centre website
              The total bill for my order was 3193 out of which 2000 was paid in advance and 1193 was cod.
              But the delivery executive asked for full amount as cod and i paid him 3193 cash.
              Also confirmed with customer care on call they said that this happened due to some technical error and i will get my refund of 2000 which was paid in advance.
              Please refund my 2000 back.

                We bought sofa 3, 2 & 1 seater from lifestyle store Visakhapatnam homecenter shop got damaged 3 seater and the quality of sofas delivered is not same as the ones displayed in store. I have bought on 01.12.2018 got delivered on 14.12.2018 since then complaining . I have been complaining for refund or credit note for taking a different product but they are not responding and saying that they will replace the three seater only that too after 31.01.2019

                  I have bought vertigo sofa 3, 2 & 1 seater from homecentre visakhapatnam store on 01/12/2018 got it delivered on 14.12.2018 the ones delivered were not exactly of the same quality on display in store and the 3 seater was delivered in damaged condition. We have asked for credit note for taking a different product from their store but they as the quality of product delivered was not same as displayed in store are saying that they can only replace the damaged one that too after 31.01.2019.

                    This is regarding my sofa fabric which is not good. Thread are coming out from many places and from one place foam is coming out. Man come from your company who came for survey, said we will change the fabric or replace it but i was waited so long for reply but you people didn't revert. On 2nd of dec i called on your toll free no and your telle caller said it will not repaired because it's customer miss handling. How could you say like this. You people are simply cheating your customers. You people know your fabric is not up to the mark and you are not ready to admit not even that you people not even think to revert to your customers. This is the last time i am mailing you people, if i will not get quick n appropriate revert on this i am going to mail your top most and i will drag everyone from local store manger to the entire survey team and secondly just send anyone again for survey who had idea of sofa or fabric.
                    If problem will not resolved i will file a case in consumer court and their your fabric quality will definitely check.

                      I had ordered a stool from home centre on 13th november. They sent me a message on 16th november saying they regret the delay in delivery.
                      Again i mailed them for the status on 19th november and yhey replied the same saying they will find out the status.
                      Its 30th november today and still the item is undelivered.
                      I just hopee they refund the amount.
                      No communication from them yet.

                        I had purchased cot and bed at life style, Visakhapatnam in august 2018 brand as home centre for Rs around 45000/-. After a span of 20 days they had delivered damaged part, by assuring to replace with in 3 weeks. Despite my repeated telephonic calls to their executives and mails to home centre, they have not responded so far.

                        I have received mail from home centre on 24.09.2018 assuring to replace shortly, last such mail I received on 08.10.2018 .

                        Though I had mailed them for suing the matter to Consumer Forum for refund the amount for poor service and poor response.
                        Hi facing similar problem bought sofa on 1.12.2018 got damaged and poor quality please call if possible to [protected] Sai Chaitanya

                          Bought a sofa set under exchange scheme from home centre, seawoods, invoice no [protected]. After twice delivering a damaged set got the sofa set delivered 15 days late. Last 15 days now frantically following up for collecting my old sofa. Call center no absolutely unresponsive and callous.. Call center persons never call back after promising a call back neither responsive to resolve the issue.

                            I have paid 78, 840.00 on the spot and booked 2queen size coats with mattress and a dining table with chair and one bench on[protected].
                            And they offered that it will be delivered on[protected]. Still they didn’t delivered all on time.

                            On 22nd they called me and said that we are not able to deliver in 21st and it will be delivered only on 31st August, but its not happened on 31st august too. They delivered only dining table with chair, bunch and one queen size coat without mattress. Rest of the things ( two mattress, one queen size coat) they said that, it will be deliver on September 5th. But till Now they didn’t deliver products with I paid on the spot .

                            Yesterday[protected] they are telling that remaining things will be delivered only on September 13th.

                            And today[protected] they've delivered only 2 matters, remaining things we don't know when they're going to deliver.
                            Yesterday they promised to deliver product on[protected], but still they didn't deliver it.

                            The Homecentre unit which is located at 2nd and 3rd floor, Adarsh opus, Richmond Road, Bangalore, is irresponsible and they gives fake promise to the customers.

                            Homecentre is not at all a good shopping place.

                                Bought 2 and 3 sofa sets worth 96k from Homecentre, (Viviana Mall, Thane) which broke within 5-6 months. After repeated follow-ups I was given option to upgrade to another sofa of best quality (as mentioned by them). After paying additional 38k, I was given this 2&3 seater sofa. Now after using it for 14 months, spring of one of the sofa has come out. Upon reaching out to service centre I was told that no repair will provided by Homecentre as it is out of warranty. My concern is that whether such expensive product just have shelf life of 13-14 months ??
                                However when it got it repaired from local vendor, I got the chance to see material used in sofa. Wood, material used inside was of far inferior quality and that I never expected from brand like Homecentre. I see can now see the patchwork done. Looking excellent from outside but disgusting quality material from inside which anyway would not last for more than an hour.
                                However that's the lesson learnt, NEVER EVER BUY FROM HOMECENTRE
                                Please don't buy any electronic goods from the Home Town Marathahalli. I brought a TV and it took around 4 days to delivery and after that also they never did any installation. One of the worst service.

                                I am planning to cancel the purchase and would like to buy somewhere else around that area.
                                I have bought a sofa from Homecentre visakhapatnam facing similar issue
                                Third class service of home center. Staff are pathetic, useless. we have purchased bed from home center which is damaged within 3 months only, also they have given us warranty, now they didn't stick to their words they have just flipped.Wood material used inside was cheap and nasty. I have to take follow up from your team every time.

                                We spent so much of money for this kind of response. And this is such a branded company Home Center, My foot...Fraud company and staff.

                                U should close your shop this better for you. Don't mess with customer.

                                  I ordered a dining table set from m/s homecentre, in orbit mall, hydrerabad.
                                  Invoice no 1214634 dt. 13.08
                                  2016.
                                  The vendor assured the delivery on 29.08.2016.

                                  The phone numbers provided on the invoice are [protected], [protected], [protected]. No numbers are reachable. Citing this, once again visited the shop. Even after repeated requests and follow ups, the delivery schedule is not provided by the vendor till now. The purchase was made on 13.08.2016. Request your kind assistance to solve the complaint.

                                    Mansion Bed with mattress was ordered and paid for on 2nd August'15. Matress was delivered end-Aug but bed was not delivered. After chasing the store and support centre we were finally told at the store on 3st Aug that the bed will not be delivered and the money will be paid back by check in a weeks time after submission of my pan card which I had submitted next day. The mattress was also picked back in the next week. Its over a month and the refund has not been released and Im be told to wait for one more week every time I chase on this. Person we have been speaking to is their store concept manager (Dikshant +91-[protected]) at the DLF City Mall, HomeCentre Store. If things go wrong internally the least you could offer is early intimation (instead of customer having to chase the same) or compensated by offering similar discounts on the second best option being chosen. If this much cant be done even for a customer who is repeating the third time during the same season, there is something seriously wrong with your customer centricity.

                                      Below is the email sent to the Homecentre - Lifestyle customer care team on March 17, 2103 with no response as of yet.

                                      Dear Sir/Madam,

                                      With regret I have to admit that my very first experience with a known retail store like Homecentre has been very disappointing.

                                      I had booked a 3+1+1 Radiance Sofa on 26th Feb 2013 & got the same delivered on 06th mar 2013. The serial no. on the delivery form is GUR/5377. At the time of delivery, it was noted in the presence of your delivery staff that one single seater sofa had a slighlty damaged leatherite on the side. I mentioned the same on the delivery copy of homecentre & insisted upon a replacement of the damaged product with a fresh one.

                                      Since the 07th of March, I have contacted your customer care dept. over half a dozen times with the only assurance that the damaged product will be replaced but no information as to by when the replacement will take place. Also the legs fitted on the 3 seater sofa are of different size making the 3 seater sofa higher by 2 inches in compared to the single seater ones, which is looking quite awkward. I revisited the showroom to check on the height of the entire sofa set, shockingly all variants of the Radiance sofa (Single seater, Two seater & three seater have the same height. I am really not sure if homecentre is only commited to sell products but not on the quality of the products sold or after sales complaints.

                                      This will probably be my last complaint to Homecentre with an expectation of immediate resolution, failure to which may force me to approach consumers forum.
