A purchased a worst product of Worst Company name Called Honda Amaze vxmt from Honda Company, The brand new vehicle is giving sounds like 15 yrs old ones n the mileage is 14/kmpl.The worst car in my life .Surely i will log a complaint legally about this worst n Worst company

When the survice man taken the car from home there is stepny inside the car. When they give the car back there is no stpny insise the car.. I also complain bt the manager dint help us.       I have a honda city diesel october 2014. I had a swift dezire after that i bought honda city vx to uplift my status. I heard that honda is a very high level brand but now i have been feeling that it's my biggest mistake. Your service centre quality is below standard. I tried lots of service centre like deep honda bhatinda, sheetal honda ganga nagar, vidhata honda ludhiana, harmony honda chandigarh but no one is up to the mark pls take a look as customer over these service centre. They are treating like we r tempo driver or below that

        My complaint is against the Honda Dealer. Classic Honda Sterling Automobiles Private Limited 14/1, Main Mathura Road, Faridabad (Haryana)- 121003 Ph:[protected] Fax:[protected] Email: [protected]@classichonda.co.in web: www.classichonda.co.in I have had problems with the service, attitude, quality of service and people from the time I took the delivery of my car- Honda City SMT from their Showroom in Vasant Kunj in Nov, 2011 The chronology of events is listed below: 1. I took the delivery of the car on 6th Nov. 2011. At the time of purchase, I exchanged my Maruti 800 with a Honda City SMT. I had a valid insurance with 50% NCB. I had told Mr. Vivek (Sales co-ordinator) and Ms. Monica (Showroom GM) that I would like to transfer the insurance and 50% NCB on Honda City so that I can get 50% benefit on the insurance premium. While they agreed and acknowledged it at the time of purchase, I was not given the benefit at the time of delivery. The 50% NCB and Insurance was not transferred. A whole lot of stories were weaved around that and I was told it cannot be done at the time of purchase and will be done a year later. I know this was not true and they were only trying to shirk the responsibility so that I do not get the benefit. They did not do the necessary of getting the NOC from the Insurance company and were giving me false stories. I followed up with them a few months later so that I can get the benefit in the next premium. Needless to say, Ms. Monica had moved on and there was a new GM, Mr. Singh. I had to narrate the whole story to him. He kept giving me assurance, he will get the needful done. But nothing was done. 1 year had elapsed, my insurance was to be renewed but they did not feel it was important to close on this. I wrote several emails and made several phone calls. Finally they agreed to pick up the 50% cost on their own. It was a bad experience as I could not drive my car for many days without insurance being scared to go on the street. I had to take taxis and autos to commute to work. They were slack in their job and did nothing to the effect till the situation became bitter. 2. SERVICE: They never call the customer and remind of the service due. I had to call them several times to take my car for servicing. When my car was serviced for the 1st time after a month of purchase, I was downright disgusted with the quality of service. The car had ball pen marks all over on the boot and the sides. The dashboard was half polished and half of it was not even touched. One could clearly see that the servicing was only a formality at their workshop. Supposedly, the car is supposed to be checked before it exits the showroom and is delivered to the customer. I called the workshop manager and showed him the condition of the car. He took the car again and got it re-serviced. Not only was a painful and distasteful experience, I had to pay for the petrol unnecessarily and also it wasted my time as I was without a car. 3. SERVICE (yet again): Each time as mentioned, I had to call for service. They do not have an auto reminder when the service is due. My car was serviced almost 2 years ago and in between I made several calls to them to schedule an appointment for the servicing of my car. With fake promises each time, my car was never picked up even after confirming the appointment. Finally I sent my car for servicing on[protected]. The driver, Ravi who came to pick up the car, did a thorough inspection of the car. He noted down the problems and existing scratches. He spent more than 15 minutes on the inspection. I was handed over a copy of the document that was acknowledged by me on the existing scratches and problems. I had mentioned that I need minimum necessary servicing as I have financial constraints at this point in time and cannot spend more than what is required. Despite this, the advisor at the workshop was trying to sell me all the frills so that unnecessary billing can be done. He mentioned about drycleaning the car which I did not agree for. Inspite of that, he drycleaned my car and was adding it to my bill. I had to argue with him on that. He lied to me and said that we record customer conversation and that he can prove I agreed on it. I asked him to play the recording for which he had no response. He harassed me with unnecessary cost and billing and even though I kept telling him, I need basic servicing, he kept bloating the bill and selling me services that I do not require. He was trying to convince me on purchasing the services so that my bill can come to 10k. He wasted 2-3 hours of mine on the same which stressed me out completely. I had been promised that my car would be delivered by 3 pm in the evening. But in reality I received my car in the evening between 7.30- 8 pm. When I inspected the car, I was horrified as there were scratches on the bonnet of my car. These scratches were not there at the time of pick of and looked as though they have been made by a sharp tool. I called the AGM, Mr. Tushar, who spoke very curtly and said he would look into it the next day. Next day I sent the photographs, after which he sent me a picture of the document that was the inventory checklist at the showroom when the car is received. The document had a mention of these scratches. Instead of taking the ownership of the mistake, he kept giving me stories that the driver who picked the car must have forgotten to take note of it. I would know of all the scratches on my car. Does he not realise that? I asked for the CCTV footage as the document was definitely fudged. As it was sent to me after I sent the pictures of the scratches. I am very disturbed by the whole experience as the scratches are in a very visible place on top of the bonnet. Their service is of very bad quality. The rubbing job that was doe on my car on existing scratches looks like a cheap job done with sandpaper. It looks tacky and gives an ugly bad finish to the car. The people are rude and do not know what Customer Service is. Instead of taking responsibility, they shirk it and unnecessarily debate with the customers that is a waste of time and is extremely stressful and annoying. I demand that my car is repaired and the finish should be the way it was earlier. They have given me a lot of stress and bloated my bills despite my having financial constraints at this point in time.           Dear Sir/Madam, Greetings from India! This is to bring into your notice that I am facing issues in my HONDA city. Details of the car & issues is given below: Car Manufacturer: HONDA Car Mode: City City: Noida, India Model Year: November 2012 Version: Automatic, Petrol Bought from: Ace HONDA Delhi Issue: Rubbing Spot on coming seat cover (Company fitted leather seat) Earlier it was on Driver seat and now the same thing is coming on other seats as well. I have registered this complaint after I have received the car from ACE HONDA after service on 18th June 2014. They have seen this issue and acknowledged that this is not a manual defect so they will put this complaint to HONDA through HTR to replace it or for the solution. After one week, I have received their response and they are saying that HONDA is saying NO for this issue and they can’t do anything even this is A MANUFACTURING DEFECT. I request you to intervene this issue as I can’t allow anyone to cheat us and make us fool. In case, the professionalism will not be shown by HONDA then unfortunately I have to highlight this case to consumer court and further on till I will not get the justice. I will also charge the harassment amount to HONDA to not accept their mistake in first level complaint. However I look forward to your positive answer to avoid such actions.             I had bought a Honda City Exclusive in Oct 2010 and since then my nightmare has begun.
            Let me list down my grievances against the product, dealership, service partners and extremely horrible staff that they have (who are expert at humiliating and fleecing the customers)
            I have purchased this car from Emerald Honda and the initial experience itself had been extremely pathetic. I had to follow up for each documents and fight for getting the committed product.
            However, the worst story began when a couple of months back I found some part at the bottom of the car hanging loose and touching the road. I went to Emrald Honda the authorized service center and described the problem. I was told that the space guard (or something like that, as I do not remember the name of the part exactly. But a part that is at the bottom of the car) has got damaged and that I will have to get it replaced at full cost. Now I am the only person to use/drive the car and I know that there has been no such accident or incident which would cause a space guard to break/tear up. I explained the same to the service center staff but I was humiliated and laughed at, as if I am a liar, and very clearly told that you will have to pay the full charges for getting it repaired/replaced. After much efforts to persuade the staff I failed and finally agreed to pay for getting it repaired. Now, how can a space guard get damaged without any reason? Is the quality of Honda city so poor ????? How can a company like Honda have such authorized service partner who hires staff that insults the customers…???
            As if this was not enough, I went again to Emrald Honda your authorized service center in ahmedabad for scheduled servicing, on 4th Oct 2012. And had to suffer yet another round of horrifying experience of rude behavior of staff, humiliation and insult.
            When I gave the car for servicing, I was told that engine oil change is not required as the number of KMs used between the previous service (when the engine oil was changed) and the current service dose not require engine oil change. However, to my horror when I went to pick up the car I was charged for the same. If this is not cheating what is…???
            While giving the car I had categorically mentioned that there is a bubble in the car tyre provided by Honda during the purchase, and It can cause fatal accident and needs to be looked into. However, they did not do anything about it and when I raised this issue while picking back my car they dismissed my concern with utter casualness that the tyres are from MRF and they cannot do anything about it. It was evident that they were not concerned about my safety and interested only in making money through wrongful means. I sought to report this to the senior manager at the workshop and one Mr Nirav Shah came to me and started talking with much arrogance even before I could start explaining my problem. I was sure that my efforts will go in vain, yet I tried to explain him how casual their service staff and approach is, but I was subjected to much humiliation and threatened to be thrown out of the premises since it is tarnishing their image with other customers who were present there. I WOULD LIKE TO REGISTER A STRONG OFFENSE AGAINST THE BEGHAVIOR OF MR NIRAV SHAH.
            Further, I was told that the washing of the car is included in the service package and due charges were taken from me and yet I showed them the washing was of extremely poor quality and there were many parts of the car with lot of mud and dust. I have also taken the photographs of the same in case you require it as a proof. I dared to register this problem with the staff and yet again was threatened and insulted.
            One more example and experience of poor quality of product and service is that my front bumper (below the front bonnet) got dislocated due to a slight touch by a cyclist. I requested them to repair it and they simply refused to do so. The service center claimed that it is irreparable and I will have to get it replaced by paying full cost. My question is..??? is the product so delicate that by a slight touch it gets dislocated and damaged so much that it becomes irrepairable…???? I tried to raise the same and by then it was evident that the staff, especially Mr Nirav Shah was not interested and in no mood to listen to their customers and almost manhandled me and started pushing me out of the premises. And since I had paid my bill, their purpose of making money was solved and were not interested at all in their customer problems.
            Honda has been disappointing, such that they are offering the same model currently with many more features such as sun roof and automatic gear at more then 40% lesser prize then the prize at which I had bought my Honda city. It dose make me feel cheated.
            Honda, has indeed made me miss my Maruti Suzuki Alto (which I sold of to buy a Honda City), which I feel was much much superior to Honda city in terms of value, product experience, durability, reliability, utility and above all service.
            To summarize :
            • Honda city is of much poor quality, durability, reliability, with parts that breaks at slightest of touch (or so I am made to believe by the authorized service center, Emrald Honda ahmedabad)
            • Honda makes the customers feel cheated with frequent and significant price cuts in the same product (which also reduces the ownership value of the existing customers)
            • Honda and the Authorized Service Centers (Emrald Honda, Ahmedabad) are interested only in making money. Quality of service is extremely poor, charges are taking without proper justification or prior intimation.
            • Honda and the Authorized Service Center (Emrald Honda, Ahmedabad) has no regard for customer safety
            • Honda and the Authorized Service Center (Emrald Honda, Ahmedabad) Staff is extremely untrained, arrogant, rude and expert at insulting and fleecing customers.
            I have decided it is enough…. And If the issues are not addressed to my satisfaction, I shall go viral… in fact to my surprise when I shared my experience with my friends who too owns a Honda, all of them expressed similar sentiment and a couple of them who are due to change a car have already decided to abandon Honda and go for other options.

              My name is Squadron Leader Prasoon and am currently posted in Baroda. I booked a honda Jazz from Baroda On September 15 2011 and wanted to get the car through CSD. Cars delivering through CSD is closed for past one year and we were waiting to get the special permission from canteen. We got the special permission last week and when i contacted the dealers they are now saying cant deliver the Honda Jazz through CSD, while the canteen dipo people says the car is still listed in the CSD list and if the company people are ready, they don have any probes to deliver the vehicle.
              When we were requesting for the permission from canteen, the honda car people were saying as soon as we get the permission they are ready to deliver the vehicle. Am waiting for past 8 months for this car and now when i got the permission am not getting the vehicle. Honda is being one of worlds best company and i wonder how can they give such wrong in formations to customers. My permission is for Honda Jazz and cant convert it to the Honda city also. Atleast they should have informed me before i give the request for the permission from canteen.
              My permission is valid only till 45 days ( thats till July 14) and now am totally strucked with a jazz permission from canteen and company not ready to deliver the vehicle. Please do something to help me. The wait was for 8 months and at the last moment we don't expect the Honda to do something like this. We believe HONDA is one of the worlds best and customer friendly company so i look forward to get a positive reply from the company

                I have purchased HONDA CITY VMT (Top end) model, it was supplied with tube less Michelin tyres ( Which is also considered as one on the best tyre company) on 10/10/10 from HONDA dealer Prime Honda, Ghaziabad. Car registration No. UK07AG2356.

                Complain : Within two month of purchase the bulging observed in one tyre. I have shown the same to Honda representative, but their attitude was very negative. After repeated followups, I purchased a new tower.

                But within one month another tyre(supplied by Honda with car) bulged. The approach of Honda and Michelin representative is very negative. They are delaying the resolution and saying that this is not manufacturing defect. How defect can come in 2-4 month old tyres with out manufacturing defect.

                I have registered my complain no. 11100743, dated 19/1/11 to HONDA CUSTOMER CARE ( ) and visited primehonda dealer sermanager Mr. Vikas Sharma ( [protected]) on 19/1/11. But resolution to complain is awaited. Mr. Vikas Sharma is coordinating with Michelin representative Mr. Mohit ([protected]).

                Help from consumer forum will be welcome.

                  I bought Honda City 2 weeks back and my co-passengers side glass has been broken by thief. I sent car to HALLMARK HONDA SHOW ROOM for service and they promised to replace the car in 2 days if i pay cash. I agreed on same. Then after 2 days they said part is still not avilable and another 2 days they will take . Which i said i now need my car back. Even i called Salse man and he promised my to give back my car on 5"th day. On 5"th day i again got call back they another 1-2 day will be taken more as honda still doesn't have part. If honda doesn't have inventory of parts and takes so many days why they commit first to customer and later keep on changing dates. This is poorest of poor service i am having from honda.

                  I am going to post this issue with all forums and blogs and if possible to media also.

                  I am sorry to say that the after sales service of Linkway Honda is so bad that I cannot refer any new customer for a vehicle to purchase from Linkway Honda, Chandivali, Sakivihar road.

                  I booked my vehicle Honda City VAT during end of January, 2010 with a request that the vehicle should be delivered on 14th February, 2010 (Valentine’s Day) It was a surpise gift for my wife on the auspicious day. But all my plan went into the drain when the Sales Executive informed me on 10th February that it is not possible to deliver the vehicle on 14th February. The reason was my loan was not sanctioned. I submitted all my papers to Linkway Honda & they were suppose to arrange the loan from Kotak Mahindra Bank (recommended by Linkway Honda) & they informed me that Kotak will process the loan faster & they will disburse the amount within 3 days. Kotak was sitting on my loan documents for one week but with no results. I contacted HDFC Bank & there service was good & the loan was disbursed within 3 days. I request Linkway Honda Management to remove Kotak Mahindra from the panel of loan department so that such incident will not happen in future. Even Kotak disclosed all my confidential data with other banks which was a embarrassing situation for me & this spoiled my credit history with other banks.

                  I received the vehicle at the end of February, 2010 from your showroom. I confirmed the timing before taking the delivery. When I came to the showroom for the delivery the work was half completed. Polish was not done for my vehicle & they have kept the vehicle down for delivery. I pointed out this to the sales executive who took the vehicle back for polishing & I with my family & relatives was waiting in the lounge area for nearly 5 hours. I received the vehicle late evening & the pooja of the vehicle was done at late night in the temple.

                  I was asked to fill a feedback form in which I mentioned all these problems. But till today nobody from Linkway Honda called up. I never expected this type of service from Linkway Honda. I came to know that Linkway Honda is a ISO certified showroom. I don’t know how you got the certificate (may be corrupted people are sitting at ISO office).

                  My 1st service was due after 1000 kms. I took the vehicle to Linkway Honda for servicing. Waited at the reception for almost 45 minutes. There was 3 major problems which I explained to the representative 1) when closing the glass the full door starts shaking 2) Leather panel on the right hand side of the drivers seat was not fitted properly 3) Polishing was not done properly. When I went to take the delivery nothing was done. The representative informed me nothing can be done it’s a faulty in all our Honda vehicles. Even the car was not cleaned properly from inside & outside. Worst experience on 1st service. I was totally disappointed (please check the feedback form which I have filled at your office)

                  My 2nd service on 27th May, 2010 again the same problem was told to your representative nothing was done. I asked him what is the service that Honda gives. He informed me that we check the brakes, alignment, oils, etc.. etc.. etc… When Linkway Honda cannot wash the vehicle properly which is easily visible how can we trust that the above things has been done.

                  I request all my friends not to put your hard earned money in buying Honda Cars. After sales service is VERY VERY VERY Bad. Honda should stop manufacturing cars if they cannot detect the problems.

                  I request the management to kindly take up this issue seriously…

                  why dont you try Linkway Honda's workshop at Kanjurmarg I was using a Honda City and used to service it at linkway the parts and other things were never an issue...

                    Replacement of Tyre

                    I had purchased a Honda City from M/s ring road Honda new delhi ,india. on 30 september, 2009 and the registration No. is DL 4c nc 4397 and is still under 'guarantee'.

                    On 25.12.09 while driving, one of the tyre burst which was of michelin company. It is very surprising that within a period of less than 3 months, the new tyre has gone away which clearly indicates that it has some manufacturing defect. The vehicle was taken to the Service Centre of the ring road Honda, who have refused to replace the tyre. It is requested that since the vehicle is still under guarantee and the tyre had burst while driving, it should be replaced immediately.

                    i'm yan i bought the honda fix 2007 still have waranrty leaking water in my car. now i been fraser highway, compenny. they said no waranty for my car .now I don't know where i can go to complain my email [protected]@ live.ca
                    I have also faced similar complain from MICHELIN tyres supplied along with Honda Car. They have procured cheap stuff and supplied with HONDA car. Ultimate sufferer is customer.

                    Firm action is required against Honda and tyre company.

                      Dear Mr. Worell,

                      I am writing to you with much of disappointment and with lost of difficulty

                      I am owning a honda city zx since july 2007, (DL 4C NC 1455)
                      I recently had my care service on 1/11/2009 from Courtesy Honda (Lally automobiles Pvt Ltd), Wazirpur , Delhi centre.

                      As my care had run around 40,000 km it was major service which need be done. I had also requested for my battery check up and few other things that i required in my car.
                      The car was serviced and OK status was given by the service centre/

                      But after having the bills cleared when i started my car its battery was not functioning properly with in few minutes the battery was drained out. because of which i got stuck in middle of night at some place

                      But the biggest shock had come today, where my life was also at risk and i could have killed of burned down in my car as, while running suddenly the fuel of my car started leaking out of car due to careless work done by the Lally automobile people, as the engineer had not tighten the locking of the fuel pump with the tank properly. The tank was full
                      I had to get out of the car and stand in a safe place after nearby vehicles alerted me of this malfunctioning in my car.By this time my whole fuel tank got emptied

                      Above that when i went to ask for clarrification the senior most person was not present at the service station and other representative refused to give me the contact numbers of their seniors. I even called your office at OKLHA where your secretory of told that you are unavailible, i asked for Mr lally he was also unavailible & neither they have given me their contact IDs, nor any of the other senior me. i guess no one is willing to have feedback and respond to a customer

                      Now i am afraid that what situation i will be in when i am going to drive my car again, unless i get it properly checked by other service center which are not courtesy by name only

                      hence, after a debate i managed to got your id and thought may be you should know that & hope that is not a regular practice happening by your concern.

                      I would also like you to know from Honda which makes one of the most technologically advanced car, have such after sale service center which not only risk the life of a customer but also does not have courtesy to take feedback from customer servicing their cars. As they never called me for my feedback and was unwilling to have one when i tried the senior people to know about what their centers are doing.

                      This attitude of COURTESY HONDA representative had made me very much disappointed and i will try not to recomend or use your service again.


                      The only thing right was attitued and professionalism shown by your onsite employees specially Mr. Abhay Sharma, who was concerned for my car and me by not only getting my car rectified but having it checked again personally.

                      But i guess if top management is unconcerned the efforts of junior looks like a cover up operation.

                        I made the biggest mistake of my life and bought a HONDA City CAR, not only do they make their cars out of the worst quality of parts and components, and also proud of the fact that they are able to cheat the INDIAN customers for the last 10 years, and they celebrate the same. Also if you try to escalate the issue to the top management you will not be able to do so as their top management will never come in the open and neither do they have the guts to put up their email ids or contact info in their site.

                        I bought a HONDA City Car in Oct 2004, this car was bought not for me buy my wife, she being a housewife wanted a car which she can use for her daily chores, within 6 months of me buying the car for her there were problems in the cars breaking, steering wheel, suspension. I took the car to their service center (ICHIBAAN HONDA) almost every 2nd week, these guys are worst than a road side mechanic, for more than a year they could not figure out what was the problem with the car, they kept changing parts of the car under warranty, but the part they put would not last even for 6 months, and the same problem would reappear, which clearly showed that the service centre could not even find out and pin point the problem in the car.

                        After a lot of difficulty I managed to find out the contact info of the regional service head of HONDA Cars India, he advised me to go to another service centre (LINKWAY HONDA) as he knew that ICHABAAN HONDA has failed and could not find out the defect in the car and rectify the same.
                        Even after going to LINKWAY Honda the same thing continued and none of the problems were resolved for the 4 years I have owned this car.

                        Luckily I had bought the extended warranty of the car from them, which cost a bomb, they changed the rack of the car twice, suspension, etc. in this 4 years but the problems were not resolved.
                        Now that 4 years are over HONDA has wiped their hands off the car, they now asking to change some more parts of the car, the warranty is supposed to be for 4 years or 40, 000/- KMS, my car is now 4 years 5 months old, but it has not yet completed 40, 000 kms, but HONDA as usual has raised their hand now and refuse to change the parts ( again ) under the said warranty.

                        They don’t have a clue as to what is the problem with the car, they don’t have any one who can find out what is the problem in the car, they also know that quality of the parts that they put in the cars are so bad that they won’t even last for 4 years that’s why they do not have any warranty of the car above 4 years even if the car has not travelled more that the 40, 000 kms as recommended by them.
                        The worst thing is that you cannot go to any other service station or mechanic to get your car rectified, as in the city of mumbai the only choice you have is either ICHABAAN or LINKWAY to service your car out of which ICHABAAN has shut down and you are left with just LINKWAY and you are at their mercy.
                        You cannot get any work on the car done from a non-HONDA service station as the company has seen to that their lousy parts are not available in the open market knowing that if they do no one will go to their service centres and also every one will know of the quality of the parts that they supply in their cars.
                        But this is not how HONDA cars are made and serviced in other countries like USA, Europe, Japan, there the quality of the cars and the service that they give is very nice, they know that if they do this in other countries they will be asked to shut shop and the consumers will sue they for whatever they have, but since we are in INDIA they know they can fool the consumers and by the time the consumers realize that they have been fooled by a company like HONDA they will simply pack their bags and get out of this country ( like all foreign companies do in INDIA ) and by that time they would have fooled enough INDIANS and filled their bags with the money they have LOOTED from us INDIANS.

                        DID YOU KNOW THAT IN THE USA HONDA DOES NOT EVEN CHARGE FOR THE ENGINE OIL CHANGE OF YOUR CAR, WHILE IN INDIA THEY NOT ONLY CHARGE FOR OIL CHANGE BUT ALSO FOR EVERY PIN THAT THEY PUT IN THE CAR DURING SERVICING OF YOUR CAR.

                        SO BEWARE NEVER BUY A HONDA CAR IN INDIA

                        The USA is no better on dealing with Honda problems. We bought a brand new Honda in 2013 and boy are we ever sorry that we paid cash for this car. The road noise in this vehicle is horrible and Honda passes the buck to the type of tires on the car. Duh!!! They use this type of tire so how is this my problem? Well, according to them, it is the tire dealer's problem. This translates -- we got your money now, sucker, ergo it is your problem. What a bunch of bull! If you are considering a new car, STAY AWAY FROM HONDA!!!

                          The readers need to know how even a Japanese Manufacturer fails in delivering Quality when world over they boast of being the leaders in Quality (Total Quality Management, KAIZEN, etc etc). My Honda City Gxi model Aug 2005 has been driven only in Delhi for 25, 000 kms and in Chennai 5, 000 kms. In Delhi the roads are good, with no potholes and so sudden jerks are negligible and in Chennai the road speed hardly goes over 5 kmph and so sudden jerks are also absent in this city. I have been driving cars since last 24 years and this is my 6th car. I am also an engineer and a lubrication specialist. I say this to put forth my argument that I know about running and maintaining cars and have a long experience about life expectancies of various parts of a car from havng driven various models of cars which are supposedly "inferior" to Honda, which they claim to be of superb Quality and backed by Japanese Technology!

                          Just after purchase I found a sound in the suspension- left side, whenever the car's front wheels dropped into a trench/ cut/ pothole. I showed it to the dealer/ service centre Ring Road Honda, Gurgaon several times. I was told that this was a manufacturing defect but no harm will come to my car. They said that they have rectified this in the "new City" in Sep 05. Imagine! That means the cars of earlier models than this all have this problem!

                          Now after 30, 000 kms I find the Electronic Power Steering too developing defects and have to be replaced, under Warranty, luckily. The cost is Rs 43, 000/- otherwise. So much for Honda Quality!!

                          And also I have to replace my brake discs and pads for both front wheels. The latter is not even under Warranty as they say to me. But what troubles me that even in a Santro with my same driving style (and braking style) the brake disc life I got was 90, 000 kms and in a Honda, much costlier car it is only 30, 000 kms!!! In all my other cars too I have never replaced a brake disc at 3, 000 kms!!

                          I wish to bring this information to the notice of all readers and fellow Citizens that they should not go by name as in India car manufacturers are taking us customers for a ride and the Quality of parts and Products are really not as expected or as advertised by their high flying advertisements even if they are Japanese. I have a gut feeling that when anybody comes to India the start cheating us and do not follow the standards they would normally follow in US or Europe because there they would othewise be kicked out! It is our fault that our consumer movement is not strong and the laws too are weak.

                          I would certainly agree, my case is even bad, where car met with an accident (car was under warranty)because of poor workmenship. In addition, even after escalating the matter to Honda Siel, the brake fault was not repaired.

                          In addition, in span of 20, 000 KM, all tyres of car have to be changed, brake pads were changed and presently car is standing at Courtsey Honda since last three days for clucth problem; which Honda service center is not able to rectify

                            Dear Sir,
                            doors of my car HONDA City ZX got rusted within 18 months from inside. I have given car for repalcement of doors to Ichiban HONDA and for last one and half month i am suffering from both these entities. all the details of communication with HONDA are attached herewith.
                            Dear Mr. Jim

                            I hope you remember we had a talk yesterday for almost half an hour and your assurance to me that henceforth nothing will go wrong and Ichiban will deliver my car by evening. You were right Ichiban did call me to give the delievery of the car at 4.30 in the evening. I informed them that I will be at there Kalina showroom by 7.30 pm. And as expected the car was not ready I was told that t is getting cleaned from inside and after that they they will wash it from outside. I waited for almost one hour after that I got to see the car.



                            At 8.30 pm when I saw the car I came to know how false your assurance was regarding the service of HONDA. As you must be aware there are some black rubber strips fitted on the window glass from outside. These strips were fitted so loosely that I removed it easily without any trouble. The front windshield is covered by some plastic strip near the bonnet that strip also I was able to move easily. After repeated reminders the alignment of the doors was not as per the original car. I fail to understand why Ichiban called me for the delivery. As Mr. Tiwari (who I am told is service in charge there) was not there I called him on his mobile. Mr. Tiwari first informed me that nothing wrong is there with the rubber strips as little play is always there with these strips. As I am not a fool and as it was evident from the other car standing there it was quite clear that he was talking wrong things. His officers who were present there also told him about the same and alter on at 9 pm he told me that the strips will be replaced and then I can take the car back by 10 pm. As regards the alignment of the doors and the front windshield his answers were “jitna hum kar sakte the humne kiya isse jyada nahi ho sakta hai. Aapko car leni hai to le jaiye aur kuch nahi ho sakta”(we have done whatever we can and nothing more can be done now so if you want take the car or leave it)



                            So as suggested by him I left the car and came back. It seems that your authorized showroom can not make the car as per the original dimensions. And if that is the case would prefer to keep the car with Ichiban rather than taking delivery of the car which is not done properly. After numerous reminders and calls to HONDA nothing is happening. HONDA and Ichiban both are taking customer like me for a ride. For last one and half month I have gone through hell. Ichiban after failing to the meet standard requirements (and that also way beyond the deadline given by them) did not bother to give alternate car to me. And they are clearly accepting that they can not do the work in a better way. Your Mumbai representative Mr. Mungre is not bothered to take my calls and not even reverting back.

                            So I am leaving the car with Ichiban as suggested by them.

                            Ichiban has informed me to take the delivery of my car on Saturday 7th June 2008 ie after 10 days. But as expected when I went there today morning to take the delivery of the car the work was not done properly. I am afraid it was such low quality work done by Ichiban that I don’t have words to describe.



                            It was informed to me that the doors are replaced but the hinges of the doors were not replaced they was rust on the hinges this was shown to the officials of Ichiban when car was initially delivered to them but nothing was done. Alignment of the doors and of the front bonnet was also very bad.



                            Now they have told me to keep the car for 2 more days and will do all the necessary work and will deliver the car back on 11th June. I do not know what kind of service is this. After repeated reminders to HONDA no action has been taken on this.

                            This is further to my email dated May 16, 2008. As informed you via said email I had surrendered my car HONDA CITY(ZX) to Ichiban Auto for replacing the doors on May 18, 2008.



                            As you are aware the matter is pending for almost one and half month. After number of follow up with HONDA 121 Ichiban finally gave me a call and has taken car for replacing the doors. I also had talk with Mr. Sameer Mungre (Area Manager Honda) and I believe with his intervention Ichiban has finally agreed to replace the doors.



                            I have surrendered the car on May 18th with confirmation from Ichiban (Mr. Sushil Sahani Manager sales) that it will be delivered back on May 23rd morning. I had informed Ichiban initially (ie on 18th May) that there is problem in the car bonnet also (which has been replaced by Ichiban 6 months back) and had requested them to take care of the same.

                            Neither Ichiban nor anybody from HONDA gave me a callback in this period. Ichiban as usual did not bothered to cal and inform about the status of the car. On Monday morning (ie on 23rd May) when I called Ichiban they informed that work is not yet completed and will let me know when car can be delivered. Subsequently Ichiban informed me that one of the door was wrongly ordered by them and this has been discovered on 23rd so they have ordered for the correct door and will take 3 more days to give the delivery. Now what is surprising is nobody bothered to check the doors before the order was place inspite of Ichiban and HONDA both very well aware that the matter is pending for more than one month.(Ichiban infact have the snaps taken by them of the doors) It is very surprising to know that on the day when car has to be delivered to the customer it is discovered that one of the major component is not properly ordered.



                            This is not the finish on 25th I received call from Mr. Sushil informing me that now they have discovered that the bonnet also has some rust and so they are replacing the bonnet also which will take 2 more days and delivery can be given only on 27th evening. Bonnet is having problem was informed to Ichiban at the very first instance but they again failed to take care of the same and as usual on the last day discovered that delivery can not be given.



                            I tried to speak with Mr. Mungre regarding this but he was not available. HONDA also has not bothered to give any call from any responsible person. I had informed HONDA 121 about the same but still not received any communication from HONDA.

                            Is there no mechanism by which HONDA can keep there customers happy? Is HONDA not bothered about the mental harassment there customers are going through? I fail to understand this and as a last option writing this email to you.

                            I still have not received my car back its now 9 days that the car is with Ichiban just for replacing the doors and I don’t know whether they will give it back on 27th also.

                            I had purchased Honda City ZX (LXI) in December 2006 from Bafna Auto Pune MH-12 DS 1795. Needles to say the reason I opted for Honda was the excellent quality and the after sales service provided by Honda. However I am afraid that the experience I have gained for last one and half year has nothing to show whatever I had initially thought of.

                            It all started when I had to surrender car for some repairing work to Ichiban Auto (at Kalina Mumbai) sometime last year. It was a nightmare after endless follow up and complaints to HONDA 121 finally after almost one month I got my car back. All this was explained to you as you can check from your records of 121. Quality of work done by Ichiban was so very pathetic that I had to surrender the car again for 3 days to Ichiban (after the intervention from 121) to get the proper repairing of the work done by Ichiban itself. I would like to thanks HONDA as they continuously intervened and forced Ichiban to get the work done. After this horrendous experience I wished not to avail HONDA after sale service again.

                            But that was not to happen. Recently I had to visit Ichiban at Worli as the inside lock of front left hand door was jammed. When the mechanics opened the interiors of the door to our surprise we found out that the entire mechanism of lock is rusted. Not only that door also was rusted completely from inside. Rusting was so bad that the officer in charge advised me to visit there Kalina showroom and get the work done from inside as the car is still in warranty period.

                            Subsequently the car was taken to Ichiban Kalina where we found out that all the four doors of car are rusted from inside. They took the photographs of the doors and requested me to wait for 2-3 days as they will inform the case to HONDA authorities. I got call from Ichiban on 17th May informing me that HONDA has approved the warranty claim and I will have to leave the car at the showroom for necessary work to be done. I informed them that it is not possible for me to leave the car immediately and will surrender it on 28th of this month as I am going out of station for 4 days. However the officials were not sure when they will finish the work and when the delivery can be given and are yet to come back on this issue. They also inform me that the rusting might have happened due to daily cleaning of the car by water pipe. However they are still ready to get repairing work done as car is in warranty period.

                            First of all I fail to understand how a car like HONDA can be rusted with 18 months from inside. Does it mean that the car should not be washed daily? Let me tell you that I have not used water pipe for washing the car and for all these 18 months it is always parked in the covered parking area. The question here is even if I am washing the car daily does it means that it will get rusted within 18 months and that too only inside of the doors where no sensible person will put water. If this is the case then why other outer parts of the car are not rusted. Sadly your officials have no answer for this. Ichiban has told me that they will do the necessary work from inside and if required the doors will be replaced. However I want all the four doors to be replaced. The reason behind this is as you will understand nobody will check the interiors of the doors frequently. This is just by chance that I discovered that the doors are rusted and the very fact that all the four doors are rusted proves that something is wrong with the quality. Instead of replacing the doors if only repairing work is done where it is rusted what if other portion gets rusted after some time. Do I again have to approach HONDA for work to be done and leave the car with Ichiban for days……

                            Secondly when the doors are to be replaced or even if we assume that Ichiban is doing repairing work then how long should it take? All the more when I am taking the appointment 15 days in advance. Inspite of such advance appointment this much of work cant be done in 4 days? Why should I suffer for failure of quality aspect from HONDA. As you can check out from your records this is not the first time I had to suffer because of lapse in the quality of work done by HONDA. I request you to please instruct Ichiban for the replacement of doors and get the work done within 4 days or provide a transport arrangement by giving the alternate vehicle to me. Also what is the warranty that other parts of the vehicle which are not inspected and are not opened any time are not rusted?

                            Sir,

                            My name is Kirti Manek. I had purchased a car Honda Jazz (MH 02 BM 8762) from your dealership Apex Honda and the delivery for the same was on the 6th of November 2009. My car was scheduled for a servicing as it had crossed the required no. of kilometers(1000km). Your driver from the Worli service centre came and inspected the car for any damages or spots and reported to me about a couple of small white spots on the right hand side doors which he claimed would be removed by washing. HE DID NOT FIND ANY OTHER BLEMISHES OR DISCOLOUR apart from the ones mentioned.
                            When my car was returned at around 3 in the afternoon There were three distinct areas that were spoilt.
                            1. There was a large scratch on the right hand side of the car.
                            2. Paint had come off at a spot on the bonnet just above the number plate.
                            3. There was discolouring on the left hand side of the car.
                            On pointing out the 3rd point, initially, Mr. Stevens and your driver said that it would disappear on scrubbing and they would do it in our next service. On further inspection I found the other two damaged areas(scratch and paint coming off) and after speaking to Mr. Stevens the car was returned to be fixed. Later in the evening we got a call from Mr Stevens saying that the discolouring(i.e. Point no. 3) could not be fixed because it was due to bird waste which is acidic.
                            It must be further noted that this particular stain was not present when the car was taken for servicing as the car was thoroughly checked by your driver himself. Further, when the car was brought home we were inspecting the car in the open and bird waste fell on the car on the right hand side near the boot. Your driver was present during the same. I am confident that if that part was able to be cleaned and there was no discolouration there then the explanation given by Mr Stevens is not valid at all. Further, Mr Swarup(Front Office Leader) too spoke to my son and tried to convince him about the same. When my son asked him to give it in writing he at first refused point blank. It is only when my son told him that he will come there personally that he responded by telling him that he'l speak to the senior management. Later my son got a call asking for his email id and he was told he would be given the same letter via email. In the email Mr. Swarup mentions that the bird waste could have existed from before the servicing and wasn't visible as the car was dirty when it was picked up. It must be noted that the car was washed only 2 hours before your driver picked it up from my closed garrage and he had indeed carefully examined it.
                            When I tried to speak to Mr Swarup he responded by saying in Hindi that "Maine toh kauve ko nahin bheja tha" (Meaning:- "I had not sent the crow"). Such was the man's attitude that he was refusing to give me his superior's email or contact information. After a lot of convincing he messaged me your number claiming that he did not have your email address.
                            We had loads of options while buying a hatchback car but we bought Honda Jazz since Honda cars are suppose to be good and there service is known to be exemplory. However I am completely disappointed with the turn of events and the way your people(Mr Stevens and Mr Swarup) have behaved about the whole matter. When the car was taken by your driver it was in a certain condition and I feel it is your duty to return the car in the same condition. Whatever has hapened has happened at your end and I expect you to fix the problem and thus keeping the brand name of Honda and its reputation intact.

                            I am sorry to say that the after sales service of Linkway Honda is so bad that I cannot refer any new customer for a vehicle to purchase from Linkway Honda, Chandivali, Sakivihar road.

                            I booked my vehicle Honda City VAT during end of January, 2010 with a request that the vehicle should be delivered on 14th February, 2010 (Valentine’s Day) It was a surpise gift for my wife on the auspicious day. But all my plan went into the drain when the Sales Executive informed me on 10th February that it is not possible to deliver the vehicle on 14th February. The reason was my loan was not sanctioned. I submitted all my papers to Linkway Honda & they were suppose to arrange the loan from Kotak Mahindra Bank (recommended by Linkway Honda) & they informed me that Kotak will process the loan faster & they will disburse the amount within 3 days. Kotak was sitting on my loan documents for one week but with no results. I contacted HDFC Bank & there service was good & the loan was disbursed within 3 days. I request Linkway Honda Management to remove Kotak Mahindra from the panel of loan department so that such incident will not happen in future. Even Kotak disclosed all my confidential data with other banks which was a embarrassing situation for me & this spoiled my credit history with other banks.

                            I received the vehicle at the end of February, 2010 from your showroom. I confirmed the timing before taking the delivery. When I came to the showroom for the delivery the work was half completed. Polish was not done for my vehicle & they have kept the vehicle down for delivery. I pointed out this to the sales executive who took the vehicle back for polishing & I with my family & relatives was waiting in the lounge area for nearly 5 hours. I received the vehicle late evening & the pooja of the vehicle was done at late night in the temple.

                            I was asked to fill a feedback form in which I mentioned all these problems. But till today nobody from Linkway Honda called up. I never expected this type of service from Linkway Honda. I came to know that Linkway Honda is a ISO certified showroom. I don’t know how you got the certificate (may be corrupted people are sitting at ISO office).

                            My 1st service was due after 1000 kms. I took the vehicle to Linkway Honda for servicing. Waited at the reception for almost 45 minutes. There was 3 major problems which I explained to the representative 1) when closing the glass the full door starts shaking 2) Leather panel on the right hand side of the drivers seat was not fitted properly 3) Polishing was not done properly. When I went to take the delivery nothing was done. The representative informed me nothing can be done it’s a faulty in all our Honda vehicles. Even the car was not cleaned properly from inside & outside. Worst experience on 1st service. I was totally disappointed (please check the feedback form which I have filled at your office)

                            My 2nd service on 27th May, 2010 again the same problem was told to your representative nothing was done. I asked him what is the service that Honda gives. He informed me that we check the brakes, alignment, oils, etc.. etc.. etc… When Linkway Honda cannot wash the vehicle properly which is easily visible how can we trust that the above things has been done.

                            I request all my friends not to put your hard earned money in buying Honda Cars. After sales service is VERY VERY VERY Bad. Honda should stop manufacturing cars if they cannot detect the problems.

                            I request the management to kindly take up this issue seriously…

                            I have recently done the paid service of 25000km for my Honda City at Classic Honda Delhi and today while driving towards my office there was an unpleaseant noice then I called Road side assistance, their executive explain of default Brake Pad, I am surprised that it was not looked by service station.

                            First of all Classic Honda has taken the service too casually and then they explained me that I need to pay the repair charges.

                            So I want to know was it my fault to pay those and secondly I have already suffered a lot beacuse of this service station therefore want Honda to take strict action against them.

                            If my car is covered under waranty then ikt should be complete, had this problem occured in the routine service I would not have complaint but out of sudden it came then it is Company Problem...
                            Dear Sir,

                            Please note that I had bought a CRV from Mr. Shri Jamshed Pesi Cama in September 2011 and I want to transfer the car to my name which requires the custom clearance certificate and the bill of entry.

                            I have been following up with Mr. Sushant Sawant and Mr. Rishikesh Potdar of Linkway Honda, Saki Vihar Road, Andheri (E), Mumbai-72 regarding this for almost 3 months now but we still have got no response from him. Every week we get false promises that the work would be done in the week but still the same remains pending . We did not expect this kind of service from Honda dealers and the company itself

                            We have also attached a letter from the RTO regarding this matter. This is a government requirement and you need to adhere to the same, if you are not able to provide the certificate then please write to us so that we can inform RTO accordingly.

                            We do not want to accelerate this small matter and write to the president /directors of your company and request your support to close this matter at the earliest. Await your immediate reply.

                            replacement of power window control panel

                            In newspaper it was informed that the defective control panels of door will be replaced for the 2008 and 2009 model honda city cars. I went and enquired in the dealer at coimbatore and they were not aware of that. please do the needful.
