From first service giving problem. Informed several and sent mail to honda.Failure bike sold to me. They solves one issue and remaining issues. If you have a problem, please visit once again.
Lot of mail sent them saying received failure bike. But no response.
Today (24/6/2021) given service at Pratual automobiles pvt ltd. Now they are saying bore and other components need to replace. Estimation Cost Rs.20, 000/-. Please do the needful.

      मैंने 11-11-12 को हौंडा शाइन खरीदी थी जो की अब तक 540 65 km चली है, हमारी बाइक का no = up 41 s 67 04 है, मैंने बाराबंकी शोरूम से लिया था हमारे बाइक के इंजन मई प्रॉब्लम आ गयी है, शोरूम में दिखाया तो कहा की इसका इंजन बनेगा, जबकि हमारी बाइक ज्यादा नहीं चली है फिर भी इंजन बनेगा बताया, तो क्या इंजन की कोई वारंटी नहीं होती है, तो कृपया कंपनी से आग्रह है की हमारी बाइक का इंजन को वारंटी पीरियड में लेते हुए इसको बनवाए

        I have a honda shine bike about 35000 kms ran, all my paid services in stipulated time promptly, recently more than three times serviced for one problem, ie blocking fuel or engine and suddenly block the speed at 50 km to 70 kms speed, lastly serviced on 11/07/2015, but no improvement, so again tried within 3 -4 days of service in the same dealer, till date no remedy, problem is present

          No smooth pick-up

          My honda shine has undergone a single servicing and driven around 650km now. Problem: Every initial drive of the day, I experience hiccups in pick-up upto 3rd gear. It tends to lose the pick-up when clutch is released at slow speeds. It becomes worse when I have not driven my bike for 2 days or so. Please tell me the solution or is normal to happen at this phase of engine life....

          Dear Sir, I am using Honda shine bike since 2009. I got problem in my bike's speedometer in this month, when I see the speedometer that was not working, when I went to the mechanic to resolve this problem, he told me that the meter varam of your bike is not working, and in that case you have to change the liner plate, because the separate meter varam is not provided by the co. and local made meter varam (which is available in the market) is not working properly. So if you want to resolve the problem you have to buy liner plate which cost is nearby Rs. 670.00 and local made meter varam cost is Rs. 20.00 only.             Hi, Respectfully I want to say that I have purchased a new bike CB-Shine form Shyam Honda Annpurna Road, Indore Dealers and I am facing many problem from new bike in sense mof dealer service and bike also. I have faced the Battery problem in bike, Battery is not able to charge from begining and I am also facing problem in Rear break of bike, it is not proper as in new bike and dealer is not taking any responsibility for this. They are saing that I can not do anything for this, it's have to you and own risk. Dealers is also showing their irresponsibility for completing RTO papers, after 25 days I din't receive Registration Number and they are saying that you have to wait 1 month more for this. I am so Frustrated from Dealership service and Honda bike issue also, so please give some resolution for this or take proper action on dealers who is not taking any type of responsibility.               HONDA SHINE BIKE — re: service at their centres

              hi,

              I owe a Honda Shine model 2009 Self-Disc. I am giving the bike for servicing in the Honda Fortune Motors and iam so unhappy regarding the service at their centres. They are not at all responding and taking any measures to rectify the troubles suggested by the customers. My bike is 16,000 kms old and is having a list of troubles.
              1. Visor got broken once
              2.Having problems while changing gears
              3. Daily for starting we have to give choke
              4.Chain sprocket got damaged
              5.The tail lamp assembly vibration problems
              6. Bike vibration at speeds of 50-60 kmph
              7. Less mileage at about 45-50 kmpl .
              8.Bike making heavy noise

              So i request u to take some necessary action to get the toubles right.

              i buy a new honda shine bike from amar honda roorkee but the dealer donot have sufficient machanic staff,parts&infra structure for servicing bike so we are helpless for servicing the bike by untraind machanics.i have informed about this problem to the manager but the complaint does not entertained.

                i have purchase New Honda Shine 125 CC Bike dated 25.10.12 from Shyam Honda Annapurna Road Indore.
                and Sales person name is Varsa Sharma. his service is very poor she said i have done Teflon in bike but when i see the bike in which time bike looking was very unshine and tyre was looking very old because not washed.
                than Varsa sharma told me very ruffly and said i done teflon you can go.

                so What is this i have pay Rs.350/- for teflon but no teflon no washing.
                what is this. where is Honda service.

                dear sir i was purchased honda shine bike in august month of this year at pavan honda dealers in eluru west godavari dist andhra pradesh., my vehicle number ap 16 ce 0580 total k m to still date is 3200. my native place vijayawada, krishna dt a p. nearest honda servicing deler is mitra honda in vijayawada city my bike 1st servecing is completed in mitrr honda with the help of consumer forum due some mistakes of their side. my bike is again given to mitra deler for 2 nd servicing on 06 11 2012 with the complaint of heavy sound from engine and self motor problem. on the same evening my bike was discharged without rectified the coplaints and their said again coming for show room for that problems on 09 11 2012. that day also not rectified and again their said coming for showroom on 16 11 2012.that day also i am going to mitra deler and handedover to my bike for these 2 problems.17 11 2012 evening my bike was handed to me but the problems was not rectified and also incresed. i ask to servicing manager his replay is we r changing the gpd wheel and gear thats all if the problem was not rectified we r not responcible for that. in these time my valuble time and more money was gone but the problem was not cured. please help me sir for control the big noisy and self motor problem . my mobile no [protected]. mail id [protected]@gmail.com

                    This is to bring your notice that ,I have took a Honda Shine Bike at Vizag Jupiter Honda Showroom at Dabagardens showroom .

                    I have taken to the authorized showroom for replacement of Petrol tank which got totally damaged in accident,According to sevice Manager and staff told me that it takes ten days for replacing the new one .however even after 25 th day i did gent response from them and they seems to be verry irresonsible in rendering and solving customer services .But till date I have not received any reponse please consider my complaint and do the needful as i am unable to ride the bike.

                      I have booked honda shine bike on 14.01.2010 at Jagrut Honda, Ratnagiri - Maharashtra.
                      They told us Teflon coating is compulsory for every customer. Please inform me whether customer has choice to do or not to do teflon coating. There is waiting period of 1 month. What is the reason behind 1 month waiting.
                      There is arogent service from Staff members of above mention dealers.

                        Dear sir,
                        I have purchased Honda shine bike no.TN36X5823 on October 2007 at dealer of The Noble Honda,Gopichettipalayam, Erode district, TamilNadu . Nearly completed 2 years, I am facing problems of less milage(45Kms) and More vibration at the time of riding above 40km speed. I can not drive even 55km speed. This complaint i am insisting since from 1st free service, all free services over and done one Paid service also. Last time I complaint Costumer care office,Pune and left vehicle at Gobi for service. They kept vehicle 2 days for checking.
                        That time they shown 68km milage in test drive and told thereis no problem in engine or some else. But I am doubt on engine problem. But they are not hearing my words. Since from the purchase i am getting maximum 50km/Litre milage. At the time of last service they committed, if the problem continios they ask me to come any time. But I am not confident Gobichettipalayabm showroom. Because they are not Identified correct problem so far. I am doubt this may be Manufacturing defalt. So I am going to leave my bike for further checking at Gobi on 5th October. Pl take to my vehicle to Erode showroom and Clear my problem sincerely. Otherwise it is a big Torture to me and getting irritated at every time of riding my bike. I tested other 4 bikes in Gobi all good. And all costomer and local Mechanics are telling Honda Bikes are good. This is happening to me because of bad service peoples or they are hiding my bikes major prolem. Please check my bike with chief mechanic and solve my problem. Since I am recommanding Honda bikes to my friends circle.

                        Honda Shine — Poor performance

                        Dear concern,
                        Sir unfortunately I took a Honda Shine bike at 26th August, 2009 I was glad to buy it but it is not giving me satisfactory result. There is a major engine problem in my bike, there is loud engine sound in my bike and it is not running smoothly it is good at speed up to 40 but after that it create vibration, I can't ride it above speed of 40. I drive other Shine also but there is a change in riding. My bike is in warranty period and has achieved 10500 k.m. I have extended warranty also. I have taken all free service from dealer and I have informed to dealer so they have changed some parts but still problem is not removed. I am so upset. When Shine came into market it was so good and smooth that’s why earlier I was convincing to my friends and to my relatives for buying Honda Shine but due to this situation I just say that don't buy Honda Shine. Pick up problem also there in my bike. Please take quick action for me I will be highly obliged to you. I have purchased it from Modern Honda, Airodram circle near airport kota (Raj.)

                        Honda — poor service and poor bike performance

                        Hello sir,

                        i give a hats off to ur dealers with their service centers especially to Druvdesh honda for their POOR, no actually VERY POOR SERVICE. i had a complaint about my bikes engine head leakage and asked em to fix it and after the service i asked them if the problem was fixed or not and the said yes it's been taken are of, but yet again the problem is still there making it's mark QUOTING ' NO HONDA SERVICE CENTER IS GONNA FIX ME'..........
                        I tken honda shine bike last 8 months back in gopalapatnam, vishakapatnam.from starting onwards facing problem with gareshifter till now problem not resolved.And engine having lotof sounds.please resove my problem

                          I puchased HONDA SHINE BIKE (DL-4S-BE-8033) ON 26/08/2007 from BHASIN HONDA (Raja Garden New Delhi). and bike was regularly serviced at Service Centre (Rama Road New Delhi). In Aug'08 SERVICE CENTRE (Rama Road New Delhi) told me that there is an engine smoke problem as a result they changed the cylinder head of engine in warranty. After this engine overhauling, within a period of 1 yr the SERVICE CENTRE told me again this engine smoke problem on 21/08/2009 during routine servicing. Then I handed over the bike on 25/08/2009 for again engine overhauling.
                          Within two yrs of purchasing new bike this engine problem has occured twice which indicates some manufacturing defect in the engine for which company is completely responsible.My two yr warranty also ends on 26/08/2009 and i am sure that this bike will continuously give problem in future also.So i request you to look into the matter and do needful to replace this defective motorcycle. As of now my bike is in the SERVICE CENTRE (Rama Road New Delhi). kindly take immidiate action and inform me accordingly.

                          ENGINE PROBLEM
                          I puchased HONDA SHINE BIKE (AP11AJ7821) ON 10/10/2010 from Autofin Motors (HImayathnagar Hyderabad). and bike was regularly serviced at Service Centre (Hyderabad). In Jan 2011 SERVICE CENTRE (Himayath Nagar Hyderabad) told me that there is an engine Sound problem as a result they checked the engine in warranty. After this engine overhauling, within a period of 1 yr the SERVICE CENTRE told me again this engine sound problem on 08.02.2011 during routine servicing. Then I handed over the bike on 10.02.2011 for again engine overhauling.
                          Within 1 yrs of purchasing new bike this engine problem has occured twice which indicates some manufacturing defect in the engine for which company is completely responsible.With in 5 Months warranty and i am sure that this bike will continuously give problem in future also.So i request you to look into the matter and do needful to replace this defective motorcycle. As of now my bike is in the SERVICE CENTRE (Himayath Nagar) kindly take immidiate action and inform me accordingly. If not i will take Media support regarding this issue.

                            Where I am finding there is Clatch plate problem as I am not comforteble with gears, due to witch there is constant vibration in engine also in the pickup of the bike As per advice of the dealer I made 1st servicing at Piolt 2 Wheelers Pvt. Ltd. Chembur Mumbai, Where they have charge me Rs. 182.22 for Engine Flush and Oil charges of Rs. 109.33 on 19-may-2008 by Invoice no 3197/2667. I am requesting you to help me getting rectify this Problem

                            I would like to say that please find out responsible person and tell him to select qualified engineers for service station, so that we (customer) get proper solutions for our problems. put written complain to Honda Pvt. Ltd. The same poor service engineer or not trained service engineer are working at service stations.
                            so if possible take steps on this.
                            i have milage problem & back side break problem is not perfect work after 3 services. than no any answer from service center.
                            i have not getting proper milege for this bike only...
                            Better go to consumer court like the way i have did ..
