    Our vps has down on aug 28th 2020 after wards we continuously followup, but still they did't solve the issue. After one week they told your data was deleted unfortunately. We requested many times for backup data but they are not responding, still my money is there account. We loose our clients also.
    We sent many mails for our backup they didn't respond. We met heavy loss.

      I had this hostgator india - baby plan for the past 5 years. I usually renewed it annually. But this time when it was due for renewal i was on a trip where i had no internet connection. However, when after around 15 days of hosting expiration i decided to renew it as the websites it hosted were all suspended. When i logged in to my hostgator account to renew the hosting, i found out that that the hosting was deleted and there was no option for renewal left.

      I immediately called the hostgator customer care[protected]. The representative first told that your hosting is deleted and recovering your files and databases is not possible now. After i insisted he told me to add inr 1180 (Inr 1000 + tax) and than they will provide us a link to the backup. He also generated a ticket (Ticket no. Cba[protected]. However, i again went out of town for 6 days. I returned and added the amount on hostgator account and called up the customer care to proceed with sending me the backup link (S). However, i was surprised and shocked that the files and databases both were deleted and nothing could be done now.

      I have 2 concerns and i think hostgator india were unethical in many ways:
      1. When the hosting was due, i received an email with a reminder and mentioned the date of deletion to be march 09, 2020 (45 days after it was due for renewal). How can you delete it before that and that too within 15 days.
      2. The ticket was generated on 14th of february and i added the amount on 19th. When the ticket was open and not yet closed, how can you delete the files and databases? Should you not wait for my reply. Who deleted the files when the ticket is open and only 5 days were passed.
      Isn't this an unethical practice?

      I have been left in a very strange situation as the hosting hosted 3 websites (One of me and 2 of my clients). I am escalating it in a very faraway hope for finding a solution. I will also post this on social media platforms like fb and twitter so that people may come to know of your unethical practices. I am in a huge loss now monetarily as well as in time. I am being looked down upon by my clients. Even if the files and databases were not deleted finally i would have survived anyways. When someone was ready to pay and the ticket was still open, the files should not have been deleted.

      I would be requiring hosting for the rest of my life but i would never go with hostgator again.

      I also have a chat transcript of the chat held with customer care representative (Rayan p) on 14/02/20. Also, i also have the calls details of my calls held on 13/02/2020 and 19/02/2020.

        Hostgator India big cheater. I purchased VPS hosting plan from them and migrated my website to them. After that, my website was totally broken and all of the plugins were stopped working. My live site i.e. CBSHOP.IN stopped to load. The support team also failed to solve the issue and advised me to contact with developer. I immediately cancelled the hosting and moved back to previous host and my site restored nicely. They have clearly mentioned that Website Migration is free and they offer 45-day full refund guarantee. But they refunded me after deducting Rs.5900 as migration charge. The information of charges are totally hidden on their package pages. Hostgator India is the biggest fraud in this world.

          We have purchased server in december 2018, i getting continuously " 503 service unavailable " error since december, as well as when my money back guarantee period is running, at that time i have complained regarding this problem, but them technical support members have told me, " this is temporary, don't worry this problem will be solved in short time " and i had not returned my money back.

          I m sending all time screenshot to them, and whenever we failed to send screenshot in 48 hours, then # support team changed my ticket status to closed. So it's become my duty to send screenshot continuously,

          Madarchod, support team don't understand our problems, still today problem not solved. This is proper white cheating, i want to do anything anyway to close this company or blame or penalty or cheating award or etc.

          In 9 months, baby born but still today, hostgator support team (Madarchod / bhosmarina) members can't solved my problem.

          Congratulations!!!

          hostgator is cheater and fraud company
          I had paid for domain name registration & 1 year website hosting package which I cancelled within 24 hours, while domain name registration fee was refunded, website hosting package is not refunded inspite of writing mail to customer care.

            To escalation authority,

            On 1st august, at 1, 00 pm my application for which database is hosted on hostgator under domain name www.oranesoft.com, stopped working,

            I checked on hostgator plesk panel, which showed the message "server is unavailable" for my main database. The other databases were working fine.

            I called up hostgator support and was told that there is issue in server, which is being rectified and they have received similar complaints from other users also.
            She also told me that the problem will be rectified in an hour.

            I waited till 4.30 pm and again called up the support. This time i was informed that the issue is being rectified and issued me a support ticked.

            At 6:45 pm, i received a email from abuse team saying that the database has been suspended by adminstrative team.

            I called up the hostgator support and was informed that i need to reply to the abuse team, so that the database services can be reinstated.

            I immediately replied back to the abuse team, requesting them to reinstate the services, so that i can make changes in database as per their standard.

            Today morning, the i found that database is still in the same suspended state, so i call up hostgator support, who informed me that she had a talk with respective team and they will get back to me by email.

            After some time at 9:58 am, i got a email from abuse team stating that,, the services has be restored and i should make advised changes.

            I checked at 10:15 am again on hostgator plesk, but there was no change in the status of the database.

            Again i called hostgator support, who told me that it will take a hour or so to start the database services.

            In regards to the above, i have certain questions to raise.

            1. How can hostgator suspend a running database without first informing the customer about the suspension, for whatever reason. I have a live ecommerce site using the database and such suspension has already caused trouble and affected the business.

            2. why i was told that there is server problem, which is being rectified by admin team and will be solved in an hour, whereas the problem was something else.

            3. why there was a 6 hour delay in informing me about the database abuse and that too only when i called support.

            4. when i replied to the abuse team about the reinstating the database in evening, they did nothing till i call in morning

            5. why after confirmation email about service restoration of the database, it has to take 1 more hour.

            6. i have a live ecommerce application using the database. Since the database is not working, i am not able to fulfil my orders. Suspending any live database without informing the customer is unprofessional

            I hope you will understand the situation and will look in the matter

                Hi,

                I purchased hosting on 22nd nov 2018 and they didn't sent me server information. I contacted their live chat person and they said you can cancel order and refund will be processed.

                I cancelled it but they called me to ask reason. I said i didnt receive server information so kindly cancel it and i will purchase from other hosting company. They insist to stay with them and they will send the server information in 60 minutes. I said no, process the refund.

                After 15-20 minutes, i got another call and surprisingly she said, we sent the server information on same day so we can not cancel the order. I checked inbox spam and trash. They didn't sent me information at all. And still they didn't sent till date.

                They have a 45 days money back guarantee and now they are decline to give refund and trying to pass the 45 days. I contacted them many times but now they are not responding.

                Kindly help as it is big amount for me and i need refund as per their policy. I do not want their hosting plan now.

                It's been 25 days now, Generated tickets, contacting them on call, but still they have not done anything. I think they have decided that they are not going to give me refund and eats my money. They are sending same reply in ticket and closing it in 2 days even if i reply to them saying I didn't responded so tickets are closed.

                  I have taken multi domain account, in just one month most of email accounts got deleted, when i chat with support team, they always say to wait, but after waiting 2 days no body gave solution so far, and more ever the company is fraud, so please dont buy hosting package from this company, else you will go mad...

                    Hostgator india- Never ever host a website with these people. This is not a sister concern of hostgator Us. Its a big lie. They dont even have a proper support system. They have support team working from US. They have to wait for every single thing to get done by US. Call center people does not know any thing about hosting or servers. My site hosted in their dedicated server down for almost two days. Nothing happened. Never ever thought to purchase server or hosting from them. Bloody host.
                    100% correct.. Their only reply we are escalated your ticket.. not solution..

                    Very very bad experience. dont buy their server.

                      Hostgator promises 99.99% uptime but it doesn't seems to keep that promise anymore. I am really facing big downtimes with them. I've paid for 3 years and it's just been a year and now they are having lots of downtimes. I faced more than 5 downtimes with hostgator in a single month only. Buying hosting from hostgator is a waste of money please don't. I think somebody should complain to DMCA as well to remove this company from India.

                        I purchased a reseller hosting on 29th April for my primary domain aimsgraphics.in but I am not able to login to WHM Panel since then. I escalated the issue to the concerned team many times, but there is not response, no ETA commited. I am stuck, as I have few more issues in the panel. I am not able to access phpmyadmin, when I tries to access Wordpress Admin, it starts downloading php pages from there. Lot of issues are there, and no solution is there.                           Hi Team, I took enterprise plan for hosting from HOSTGATOR.IN for windows shared hosting. I started pitching customers to book through my website air tickets and paid 1 lakh to the air ticketing company and also spend on marketing for the same . But on sunday 26th Oct there server crashed which is still not resolved i called them alot of times they always say it will be ok but they can't give any time limit . i Wrote a email as well to them that i will go legal if i face major loss. they didn't responded to it just an automated ticket is opened against my email. My website www.setstay.com is still down and i pitched for funding as well to some investors which got refused due to website down issue . I am facing loss more then 13.5 lakh and they are just telling me that they can give one month free extension as a compensation which is nothing against my loss. can you help me to recover my compensation and the get the problem resolved ?

                            I want to complain against Hostgator India (hostgator.in). They have cheated me our their services for dedicated servers.

                            I have purchased a dedicated server from them with 24*7 support. But they are not giving any support and also cheated me with the offers given before sale. They offers me with 5 ip's and gives only 2. Moreover my websites are not working and showing the default page owned by these people and even no one is listening and giving any proper response.

                            I want to complaint against them want the claim for the damages caused to me for there misleadings.

                            Hostgator India — Sites not working - support team not give answers to my questions

                            Hello, I ordered a shared hosting on Hostgator india, and today all sites are not working. so i contacted the support team they are not give any good response or not give me answers for my revenue loss. i asked one question then answered another, means not relevant.
                            Hi we are having Hostgator reseller plan and my websites were hacked I contacted Hostgator support and they said it will take 24 hours to solve the issues we waited for 24 hours but we didnt got any response from the support team them we called again they said within 2 hours it will be done and they will reply back now its more than 48 hours no response from support team. At last we have to fix some of the websites and still we are facing errors my Ticket ID is - MYG[protected].

                            I don't know if this post will work for us but as I found www.consumercomplaints.in listed on Google to lodge complaints I am using it against HostGator, hoping it will reach a few ears.

                            We have a reseller account with HostGator and we are hosting around 300 website with them. For the past one week our clients are facing various problems like disk quota exceeded or bandwidth exceeded etc. We were initially told by the HostGator support team that they are migrating us to a better environment at GPX data centre in Mumbai. Following are the details of their email received on 21st October 2015.

                            Dear Customer,

                            We have been alerted of some issues on the server polo.websitedns.in which hosts your reseller hosting plan for "yournamedns.com". To ensure that your services are not adversely impacted, we are scheduling the migration of your package to a brand new Dell server in a new datacenter in Mumbai called GPX. GPX is the first datacenter in India to be an Uptime Certified Tier-IV datacenter, which is the highest level of certification possible. You can find out more about our new datacenter here - http://goo.gl/wHFfBk and here - http://goo.gl/Nc82qd.

                            Maintenance Window
                            We will be using a maintenance window of 12 hours, during which your websites will face a downtime o[censored]p to an hour. The maintenance window starts on Wednesday, October 21st at 8PM IST and shall be completed by Thursday morning 8 AM. During this migration, your website and your customers’ websites will face intermittent downtimes o[censored]p to an hour. You will not be able to access the cpanel during the entire downtime.

                            Changes you need to make
                            Important: Please make the changes described below immediately after our maintenance window ends (post 8AM IST, Thursday October 22nd).

                            To which we were given a support ticket #NRV[protected].

                            It has been more than a week now and non of our issues are sorted. Moreover HostGator being located in Chennai we do not have physical access to them. The support team only keeps repeating and promising to fix the issues but each time we call a new attendant has to be narrated the entire story only to get another waiting period an so on.

                            HostGator is the most irresponsible and worst in support when it comes to hosting websites. We are losing our company name with our customers and may face legal action as well.

                            Finally we decided to call GPX in Mumbai only to learn that there is no one hosting with them by the name HostGator!

                            What can we do in such a situation? Need help.
