He contact me for rental my house. Then he told that he didnt want to see house and he agree all our demands and he is willing to send advance when i already give my husband number he always calls my phone and later he ask my google pay id and told me to send one rupee to his account later he send the same amount to my account after that he ask me to send large amount but luckly i dont have sufficient balance later he stops his offering and i enquir about him finally the result is shocking and i saw the fraud news about him... God saved us i hope not others will fall like this fraud keep aware

    Since 1year 5months staying in same house in November 2021 owner got changed.
    Building consists of 3floor we are staying in 2nd floor. New owner staying in first floor.
    During agreement he clearly spoken about rent and other things as 2nd floor having solar so he raised Rent for us. Now he removed solar connection and asking us to pay same Rent and without informing us he removed solar connection and taken connection to first floor.
    Now he is asking us to vacate house immediately.
    And usually my wife will go office at 6am in the morning and she will cook food like chapati at 5:30am for this he called me at 5:45am in the morning to Stop making sound of chapati.
    Even for machine stitching he usually call and stop making noise.
    This happens regularly with owner.
    Since new owner came we are facing issues and now he is saying this is my house I can do anything of my wish.

      Hi i am jayaram. We have a house at tenali and given for rent. Tenant person using as shop (Sri sai jyoti timber, chenchupet, tenali). He is not giving rent since my father was expired in the year 2015. My mother suffering with diabetes. We can't put her alone at home. So, we have shifted to akividu (West godavari) and staying with grandma. Daily, we do make a calls to him for rent, he says as will give.. Will give... Will give but we didn't receive single rupee. Even, not vacating from my house. We have waited for 3 years till 2018. I went to police station for the same issue. They told me as we don't look on these type of issues and if anything happened, will see. To whom do i need to contact? Please help on this as soon as possible.

        Hello all,
        I stayed in 10/764, babu nagar, 3rd main for past 4 years. The house wner not refunding the whole amount properly, every time they deducted huge amount for painting cost (Painting charges = 7000rs) and said that cost of 3000rs each day.. So they cheated and doing illegal amount on trnasfer to us.
        They used very costly painting without our knowledge.
        Totally they decuted 13, 000 rs for painitng itself,...

        Please be carful on going and staying in the house, my stomach is firing and am sure this amount defi not give her family good wealth and health (Even 1 month rent deducted as vacatted less than 10 days).. They dont have any fruitful heart.. Ateast poor people do some consideration, but rich people they make more money from this way (Blood suckers)

        My curse will definetly make lot or worst in future,.

            Myself Raju Santra, tenant of House no.2065(F.F), Sector -46, Gurgaon, facing problem with electric sub meter. As per my consumption my daily unit should be within 6 to 7 maximum, but at present it is showing 24 to 30 units per day. I have no AC, Water pump etc. We are only 3 members including 8yrs child. Where as my Land Lord mr. Raj Singh(as per agreement) using ground and basement with AC, Water pump is consuming 2 to 3 units per day. Also note that Mr. Raj Singh are 5 family members and 4 of them stay at home for all time.
            I request him to check the sub-meter, but he is not interested to do the same and after this he has asked me to leave the house.

            However I also wish to leave the house but before that I wish to know how is it possible to consume 2 to 3 units per day by using AC, Water pump, Freeze, Washing machine, fans, lights?

            Please guide. There are many people who are being fraud by this system.

            Hi,

            I'm a previous tenant, do not believe house rent at 162/5 & 162/6 at Alwarpet, because these flat owners are very fraud & they do not provide water & drainage facilities. I have already experienced in this & I don't want others to suffer.

              Sir, I am a student residing in narketpally, nalgonda district of Andhrapradesh.Its a very small village without basic facilities.House rents in this village are very very high. Because many students have to stay there to study in various educational Institutes in and around that vilage, people are demanding high rents.
              Singe room(12ft*10ft) -1800RsIf 1 person residing.extra if more people resides)
              Single Room with good flooring- 2000Rs
              Double Room(ordinary) 3200
              Double room with good flooring 3500

              these rates are excluding electricity bills.Electricity bills are also very high.With a fan and light, even with a meter, electricity bill would be 250Rs.(No one understands why). If no meter, they would charge according to the goods available

                This is to bring into your notice that our fully furnished house have been occupied by our tenants. This is K K Raju father of Anoop Raj K, We have given our fully furnished house for rent during May 2010. We have also given an agreement of 11 months. During March we have told the tenant in order to vacat our house, because we have to conduct our sons marraige in Chennai. Inorder to vacat, we gave away the advance amount to him, so that we tought he would vacat the house. But now, till July, the tenant have not yet vacated our house and he did not pay three months rent, also did not pay the latest EB bill. Actually, we only finally paid the EB bill.

                We have given a complaint to Nungambakkam Police Station on 8th July 2011 morning. During evening Police called us and also the tenants to Police Station for a compromise. But at that time the tenant came and gave a stay order (till 22nd July) to the Inspector and he left the place. So the compromise did not happen and now we are out of the house.
                Please understand our bad situation and help us.
                Thank you.

                We humbly request you to please help us to vacat the tenants from our house.

                  Acquired land with various places and always fighting with the neighours. He is an ex-police men and he has been suspended for months in a bribe case.

                      Flat Owner not refunding security deposit

                      I was staying in F-79A, 3rd Floor, Gali No.- 12, Laxminagar . I have vacated the flat as per the notice period but now the land lord is not refunding my security deposit. I have the photocopy of the rent agreement and it shows the security deposit as Rs. 2500. Please help in getting my money back from my Land Lord.

                      I am a resident of royapettah since 24 years, from the recent past of 2 years ther is a tremondous rise in house rent in our neighbouring streets such as muthu street, ayya street, etc. and the house owners are not giving any bill for the rent collection. The electricity bill for the house also is very high such as Rs 6/unit. My house is a 300 sq.feet , for that i am paying Rs 4000/month and the electricity bill for 50 units is Rs 300. I dont think the counslor of our area has not taken any action to stop this. I am a greaterful cader of D.M.K, if this situation continuous there is no chance of coming back in ruling .If action has not been taken, I have no other choice rather than going to Deputy C.M.

                          Hi,

                          I'm working in S/W Company in Pune. My native is TN. One Year back I got a Flat for Rent in PUNE (Bella Vista Impress, Near Datta Mandir, Wakad, Pune-411057).I and my friends took that flat for rent of Rs.12000/M.And we gave Rs,1800 for maintanance,brokerage of Rs.10,000 to that apartment Manager.Our flat owener is in Mumbai. We also put bond for 11 months. Now the bond date was over.Owner asked us to extend the Bond and he said the rent amount was Rs.14,000/M. This was too high for 1yr. Apart from this, the flat manager asking Rs. 7000 as brokerage for extending the bond for this year. This was the illegal, cheating, fraud, theft things he had doing. In that flat there is no proper security(robbering the diesel, petrol from the vehicles while parking inside the apartment), water problem,no power backup, no proper maintanance,roberring the electricity from the flat for their construction and operating the lift and those things. Please, check this, and take necessary steps to the manager. Don't select this type of cheating Apartment manager. Be careful for those who taking homeor flat for rent in pune.Especially in Wakad,Hinjewadi and near to Phase I and Phase 2.
                          Pune Government should take care of these activities of managers.

                            Sir,
                            I am Manas Patra, a software engineer rented a flat in Mumbai, with proper agreement. Now, due to my father's illness I am moving back to Kolkata and given one months notice to the landlord. But the landlord is saying they are going to deduct 2 months rent from my deposit i.e. INR 30,000- from my deposit of INR 75,000- since I have stayed only for four months in the flat. The agreement clearly says either party can give a notice of one mont to terminate the agreement. There is no clause that talks about minimu 6 months stay. Please suggest, what to do in this case.

                            Dear Sir,

                            I am a software engineer by profession, working for M/s Accenture India Pvt Ltd, and am currently located at London, UK.

                            During the year 2007 while I was staying at Bangalore, I entered into a 11 month agreement with Mrs GN Parvathi Bai, Mrs GN Padma Bai, Mrs GN Narasu Bai and Mrs GN Rukmini Bai residing at No.10, CK Chennappa Garden, 2nd Cross, Lalbagh Road, Bangalore-560027, for renting their apartment located at Flat No. 709, Cassia Block, Brigade Millenium, Puttenahalli, JP Nagar, Bangalore.

                            I have not physically met the owners whose names are stated in the agreement document nor have I visited their location stated above. The apartment rental agreement was done through a broker at that time. On behalf of the owners of the Apartment, one Mr Parichay, Mr Panduranga who are believed to be related to the owners and who own a saree shop "Prasiddhi Silks" on KH Road, Bangalore, always interacted with me and handed over the keys to the apartment etc.,

                            My original intention was to stay the entire 11 months of thte agreement, however due to office needs, I was asked to relocate myself at UK after 8 months of stay at the above apartment on rent. I have been paying my monthly rent regularly.

                            Once it was certain that I was unlikely to return to India in the near future, I decided to invoke the clause in the agreement which stated that either party can give a month notice and terminate the agreement. As per this clause, I sent an email to Mr Parichary on 11th Feb 2008, stating that I will vacate on 11th March 2008. I also made calls to Mr Parichay from London informing the above details. Also called him from Calcutta a week ago, stating that I would be arriving on Bangalore and vacating the house.

                            When I went to return the apartment keys to Mr Parichay on 14th March, he passed me on to Mr Panduranga, and inspite of visiting their shop at KH Road 3 times till this moment on 15th March, they have not returned the security deposit given to them (10 months of advance @ Rs.13, 500). They are also harassing me stating that they will not return any money whatsoever, or they will cut 45 days of additional rent, for no reasons whatsoever.

                            My current problem is that I have to fly away to London UK tomorrow, and I will not be here. I don't know what to do with the keys of the house, and I do not know how to get my security deposit back.

                            Under the circumstances, I am trying to file a FIR with JP Nagar police under whose control the apartment would come and put a new lock in the apartment, so that the owner who also has a key, does not enter the house, and break structure/fittings and claim damage as if I have caused the same.

                            I request your good self, to advise further course of action, in getting my security deposit.

                            Even I am facing the same problem.I was staying in a house for rented accommodation with 3 of my friends.I got transfer to bangalore and vacated the house .But my 3 friends were staying there only.Now they also have found out a new house and moving to that.We asked for the advance back.But she is telling that they have to get new tenants in order to give back our deposit.Totally we paid 60000.At the time of occupying the house she told she will return back the amount at any time you all vacate.Now she is telling so many excuses.

The metet of the power is combined for me and other tennante.                             hi, i am tanushree chakravorty living in house no c-9/vijaynagar, north delhi.i started to live in a girls private hostel in north campus in october2008 and signed a aggrement to live till april 2009.i submitted 5000 thusand as security money.i was told to inform one month before i leave.i was even told that i will be fined two hundred ruppes per month if i leave it before the agreement date.as i want to leave it in march a month before agreement they are asking me 1200 rs for the six month i lived there or threating me they wont refund security.i cant affort to give that much amount.

                            I m the resident of kaushik enclave burari delhi-84. living with my mother, two younger brothers, my old grandfather and grandmother and my father is posted in maharashtra. few weeks ago the lane between our two homes was made, as the way opened for moving around, there is a lot of people moving up and down through the way. even our neighbors supported those rowdy elements and took up a fight with my elderly grandparents and threatened them of serious consequences, as on that day i was preparing for my MBA exams, i was at my friends place and my mom for security reasons shifted with my grandparents leaving the other home empty which is just the next one to my grandparents home. on 28th the robbery took place at my place. we lodged a complaint in police but there was no action taken against our neighbors and now we want a permission from MCD to put up a gate on that open lane so that for security reasons we can close it in the night. as i have mentioned earlier right now i m studying and my parents are alone in the home so kindly listen to our plea and grant us the permission.

                            Read your case which is simlar to mine. I got into rental agreement with one Mrs Vasantha Kokilam in Jun'08 to rent her flat no 201, Syndicate Bank Colony, Banerghatta Rd, Bangalore.
                            She made me sign a min 12 month lock in period (I have to live out the 12 month stay in the flat), else deposit will be forefeited. I told her that I was not comfortable with this clause, to which she said that she is flexible to accept special situations because of which I may not be able to live the 12 month period.
                            Due to death of my mother-in-law and my father in law being 80 yrs old without any body to support at Chennai, me and my wife decided that its better for us to move to Chennai in Aug'08.
                            I gave an advanced info to the land lady that aI would be shifting out and she played along saying that 'do not worry...pls do as is better for your family'.
                            I moved out in Nov'08 after having a verbal settlement with the landlady and her husband in person that I should return the keys, they will look for a new tenant and maximum within 1-2 months they will return my deposit of Rs1, 50, 000/=.
                            I have made numerous calls to her and till now (May'09) she has been tellign me 'next month..next month I will return your money once I get a tenant'.
                            Finally on 02 May'09 I caled her up and confronted her to return my money back as it has no relation to a new tenant coming or not.
                            She has not gone back to the clause in the rental agreement of 12 month lock-in and says that she willl not return my money and that I should call her up and distrun her.

                            I have problem with a landlord who is refusing to return my deposit money.
                            within 3 days of making the payment, I told him I will not take his house.
                            that time he said, he is out of station and back after a week.

                            I am also facing the same problem. I have deposited 2 months rent as a security. I was there for around 9 months and As per the agriment i have given one month notice to the landlord 10 June 2009 to 10 July. But landlord insist to leave on 30 June 2009 so that he can give to other tenant. So i have vacated on same month and i have given the key to him. At that time he told me that he will return the 2 months deposite after 10 days, but when i have asked for number of times but he is refusing tho return the deposit saying that you have not given me the one month notice.

                            i am looking for few information here if someone can help me.

                            i got shifted from Mohali (Punjab) to Ludhiana (Punjab), here i took the rented accommodation with the help of consultant.

                            It was a duplex Kothi which has open space in between first floor and ground floor, so at the time of taking the house, consultant and landlord promised to close the open space and built the drawing n dinning area for us with in 15-20 days time.

                            they asked me to sign the agreement where they have not mentioned the same it was general draft.

                            Rent has been decided on following terms, i will pay Rs 5500 till the time they complete the work and after that Rs 6200. again its not written on agreement.

                            its been four months now, they have just completed flooring which they should have done 3 months before and we lived in dust and now they are denying that we can not make drawing and dinning area, nor they have placed hook for fan, rallying and door. more over their servants are using that floor to go to second floor, since there is no other way, when i asked why they are using my floor to go to second floor, he said my mother has already told you about that, matter of fact, his mother never said such thing, why would i allow when i am paying rent. so my privacy is gone, now he is saying its your choice if you want to vacate you can..so i said yes.

                            i have been delaying his rent so that he complete his work. now he is accusing me for delaying the rent.

                            when i told to consultant about it, he is favoring landlord saying you don't pay rent on time and he has completed his flooring work, fan hook, rallying, door, are small things, about privacy you can see, if you want to vacate you can.

                            landlord is asking for full monthly rent of rs 6200 saying i have completed flooring for which i promised.

He now is asking me I have to pay him one month extra. He is not picking up the call and saying that he is busy. He is working in Ludhiana for Indian Oil Corp. Being educated he tries to give me all sorts of excuses saying that he is busy with the work and does not have time to settle my deposit.

                            I had taken an individual house on rent for security deposit of 70, 000 at J.P.Nagar 1st Phase.
                            I was residing with my friends. We all are software professionals working at different MNC's.
                            We had a Rental agreement that if we are vacating the flat within 6 months of stay then we need not
                            pay for the painting cost.

                            For the past 3 months we have given the notice to our landlord that we are vacating the flat.
                            He says that he does not have money at this point in time ( Everytime we tell him that we are
                            vacating the flat ) .

                            As per him -: we need to stay there till 11 months and if we try vacating before, then we have to pay
                            3 months rents Whereas this clause is not mentioned in the agreement.

                            What is the validity of making an agreement if the landlords are so easily neglecting the clauses
                            highlighted in the agreement.

                            I don't know the appropriate process of getting the money refunded when I have the agreement .

                            Kindly let me know a feasible process that I should approach to get my money back.

                            I have an rental agreement saying before vacating the house, i should inform them 2 months in advance and they will reuen the secuity deposit on the day of vacating.
                            Now i informed them 2months before, when im asking them to return the deposit, she is refusing to return the advance asying she has no money and will return only after 3 months and i have no hope that she will return even after 3 months.

                            I am Prashant, a software engineer rented a flat in Pune Kharadi (Owner: Sandeep Shinde), with proper agreement. Now, due to my job location changed I am moving to Mumbai and Left house with giving one month prior notice which was a precondition to leave house as per agreement. On faith i left that house But now the landlord is saying they are going to deduct 5 months rent from my deposit i.e. INR 36, 000- from my deposit of INR 25, 000- since I have stayed only for six months in the flat. The agreement clearly says either party can give a notice of one mont to terminate the agreement. There is no clause that talks about minimu 11 months stay. waited for about 3 and half months and landlord never came back to refund the security amount despite of my several reminders to him.
                            Please suggest what to do in this case.

                            I was staying since 15 Nov 2008 to 15 March, 2010. For first 11 month owner was done agreement and he has not extended it after 11 month. I was noticed him 1.5 month before leaving the flat. For notification we were made phone call to him. Now after leaving home we asked for returning the deposit that time owner is talking very arrogantly and saying that we will refund the money when we will get another tenant.
                            Is it by the rule?
                            What action we should take against him?
                            He is relative of one of the politicians.

                            i am a student residing at Bagalgunte , nagasandrapost , bangalore-73. as tenant , since 30th sep 2009 i am paying the rent on regular basis without fail . since the day i came to this flat (1BHK) i've always faced water problem though i was promised to have 24hrs of water supply as per the agreement made between me and the landlord which includes the water bill . But since the day i stepped in to the room i never had the water facility on regular basis (2wice a week they provides water ) after making so many calls (even my call cost me 50 to 70 rs and more per month by asking him daily to provide the water) .
                            Now recently when after getting fed up with all this (since its affecting my and brothers education and living ) i asked the land lord regarding the problem , he is asking us to pay 50rs per day for water . whien asked to return the security amount so that we can change the room ( where there is good water facility ) he is not ready to pay the amount saying he will only return after he gets a new tenant .
                            in such situation i see no option because the owner is some kind of goondas character who holds many building around in this area and have police influence as well.even if asked properly he threatens uses abusive language oftenly .

                            as i can not stay in such situation (not only many of the tenant of the same building where i live are about to leave and facing the same problem) but i am helpless to get my money back ,
                            If there is any way out please HELP ME to recover my money so that i can get another place .

                            I am girl staying in a PG in Gurgaon paying Rs. 5500 as rent and have deposited Rs. 5, 000 as security. Last week my PG owner painted my room without my permission and shifted my stuff without my consent and when I seeked an explanation from him he started shouting at me. He then painted the almirah and asked not to put anything in it before 24 hrs but, I was having office the other day so I after confirming that the almirah is well dried put some of my valuable stuff in it (as he does not allow us to lock our rooms) and went to the office. In my absence he again check the almirah and when found it locked he called me and asked me to vacate the pg by the evening (he literally ordered me to vacate and refused to answer when I called back), I suffered whole day from big tension. When I came back from the office I intimated him that he should at least give me 15 day notice period to vacate, he agreed on the ground that he will deduct Rs. 1000 from my security. And, now he is very adamant for deducting my security just for putting my stuff into the almirah. Beside this he also giving me mental tension and making my stay even worse. This is not the case with me only but happens to most of the girls so please help. What action I should take against him?.

                            I also stayed in DEVCHAND VILLA PG. I also faced the same problem by him like the above girl faced. Basically I belongs to south and I was unable to adjust for the food habits here over. I had took permission from the landlord while I was joining that I will cook my food by my own, for that he also agreed and joined that PG. Afterwards when I was cooking he started keeping rules that you should cook breakfast before 7.00 AM and dinner after 9.00 PM for that also I had agreed. After that he insisted me to pay amount for using gas for that also I agreed and paid him the money. After paying the amount for gas one day myself and my friend had cooked chicken for that he claimed a penality of Rs 500/- from each saying that u didnt took permission for cooking chicken and he started arguing with us saying that I gave permission only for cooking rice and vegetables only. In this way always he used to irritate us everyday.Totally 30 girls are staying in that PG amd he is earning in lacs per month and he is not paying any tax for this and moreover he always show torture to all the girls and have fun.

                            Mainly his funda is that "Divide and rule". Woh hamesha ek ke barey main doosrey sey chugli karta rahta hai and unn logoan main jhagda kardeta hain and he will just have fun.

                            If he wants to increase the rent of the room first of all he will share the thing with the members if they agree its ok orelse he will give mental torture to them like anything and make them to leave the PG by themselves.If the person is having some self respect upon themselves means they will vacate orelse they will just listen his words without vacating.

                            There should be strict punishment to landlords or house owners, who refused to return money deposited for security.

                            Punishment & Penalties should be much harder than violence, corruption & goondagardi.
                            The government is talking for punishing Kasab & others.
                            But who will punish these house owners, who are not afraid of government & police.

                            Punishments & Penalties by Government & Police should be much stronger & much more than violence & money theft/forfieted by owners.

                            Governments should lock their houses.
                            It's amazing how there is no clause to protect the "aam Aadmi " from fraud in the hands of these greedy landlords.
                            In my case the landlord takes up College students as Paying guests.Never has he made any of the girls or their parents sign any document. He wants all cash. Doesn't give u a receipt. The best- he refuses to return your deposit when you leave without completing the entire session. Wants deposits early but when it comes back to returning money he's not ready to make a commitment on the date or the amount.

Every time he said that come tomorrow, next monday and so on... Now he doesnt pick my call. Really he is insulting me everytime. Please help me if someone can help. Never take a flat on rent in BDR Tower, kundanbagh, Begumpet, Hyderabad.
                            I also had similar problems. I stayed in Mr. V Nagesh's house in Kadugodi, Bangalore (behind Noorani masjid) for 2 years with rent Rs 10000 per month and security deposit of Rs 40000. I gave him one month notice per agreement. Last day he came to see house and put lot of logics and false statements to take away Rs 20000. He was blaming us falsely for damaging paints etc. He is a pure lier. Many facilities he promised to give me after we took rent but never followed it. The water quality is so poor and the water is not available many many times. Please do not take this house in rent. Nagesh is a fraud and extremely money minded landlord and never cares for tenants.
                            Hi I have a similar kind of problem wherein im not able to understand what should i do. I hav been staying in this house since Apr'12. I got this house through a broker and had paid him Rs. 27000 in total which included 1 month rent of Rs. 9000 in advance plus Rs.9000 security deposit and Rs. 9000 as brokerage fee. Now that i have given the owner one month notice and vacated the house today they are not willing to pay back the security deposit to me. They are saying that the broker had given them only Rs 9000. I spoke to the broker and he is saying the owner have to return as stated in the agreement. I cant understand what should be the right step. Can I file an FIR for the same?
                            we took a 2 BHK house on rent at Rs 6000 per month rent and a deposit of Rs 30000 in Aug 2012.The house has extreme water supply problems though we are charged a fixed amount per month as water bill.Now, when we want to leave the house in May, 2013, the landlady is demanding separate painting expenses of Rs 6000, though the house agreement we made and signed by both parties has no mention of any deduction like painting expenses or 1 month rent deduction.According to the agreement, we are liable to pay only damage expenses if any.The house is in perfect condition with no wear and tear.
                            Please suggest what actions can we take to get back our total security deposit.Can we approach consumer court or should we lodge a police complaint?
                            I came across ravikumar and his brother saranesh the most menacing and greedy persons I have ever seen.
                            They both are black tamilians.
                            House owner's name is RaviKumar.
                            He has built this illegal building kempammadevi nillaya, at dead end of Kundanahalli Colony, 2nd Cross.

                            Infact ravi and his brother saran are one of the harsherst landlords of first degree.
                            The issues I faced:
                            1) TAP ISSUES
                            The kitchen/bathroom tap was faulty since the time I rented the house. Very little water used to come.
                            Owner after much persuassion(probably 3-4 months) used to repair/open the taps and clean it by putting a wire in it and it used to work
                            for a week and then again same issue for months.
                            The owner excused that the previous tenant had damaged the tap. But later on I came to know that since the time of construction itself
                            the tap and entire pipeline was faulty and previous tenants had a lot of problem with this and now I am having.
                            The owner never bothered to spend to permanently repair the tap and always asks tenants to pay for repair excusing tenants are going to
                            benefit from it and not the landord.

                            2) PARKING PROBLEM
                            The landlord showed me his parking space of 4 bikes and assuared me of parking space and I will never face any problem. But later on I
                            saw the landlord has promised so to all his 9 tenants in building so one can imagine how much problem all tenants faced. In that space
                            the landlord also used to park his own vehicles and tenants used to hardly get any space.

                            3) DIRTY WATER
                            Most of the time water coming is dirty and cluttered with rust and soil. When questioned landlord on this he always assuared to clean the
                            tank but never ever cleaned and the dirty water used to cause various skin problems.

                            4) SWITCHING OFF STARICASE LIGHTS AND STOPPING WATER SUPPLY IN AFTERNOON AND NIGHTS
                            Inspite of assuaring us 24 hours water supply the landlord used to stop water supply often and also used to switching off staricase lights
                            and passage lights after 8 pm.

                            5) IGNORING AGREEMENT
                            landlord never used to honour rental agreement and when he used to get some high rent paying customers he used to get either the
                            house vacated by tenants or force the tenants to paying renewed increased rents and always say he never believes in such agreements
                            and it is his house and he can do whatever he wants. They never respects ladies and is not bothered whether the house is rented by ladies or not
                            and are just interested in money and asks ladies to vacate the house midnight.

                            6) PET ISSUES
                            landlord had some two street dogs as pets and they used to defacate near the doors of tenants houses and landlord never used to clean
                            them up saying it is tenants responsibility to keep landlords house clean and his dog cannot be blamed as it is an animal.

                            7) GUESTS PROHIBITED
                            More then 2 guests were prohibited and landlord never used to allow guests to stay in night citing excuse of increased water usage.
                            If the guests used to stay the landlord used to stop the water and electricity to house. Also in case of bachelors if the house is rented by boys
                            then they cannot bring in their female friends and if house is rented by girls then they cannot bring in their male friends in house.

                            8) PAINTING CHARGES
                            To lure the customers while renting the house the landlord did not mentioned about deducting one month as painting charges in
                            agreement and assuared that he will just deduct for any paint spoiling part/damages. But while vacating the house landlord forcefully
                            deducted one month rent from deposit citing all petty excuses though he used to hardly paint the house fully while renting.

                            9) Refusal of Refund of Deposit
                            While vacating the house I had packed all the goods in auto and was about to move after collecting the deposit amount expcting the
                            landlord to refund the deposit honestly. Landlord refused to refund the deposit citing the excuse that he will return deposit when new
                            tenant comes. We had a big quarrel and I was about to call police when landlord agreed to return the deposit.
                            While vacating and moving out the goods the rooms becomes dusty as usual. Now the landlord started all the his tantrums. He deducted
                            4000/- for not sweeping the house and giving. Landlord deducted this extra amount apart from the one month rent.

                            So just remember this landlord RaviKumar.
                            He has built this illegal building kempammadevi nillaya, at dead end of Kundanahalli Colony, 2nd Cross.

                            Avoid this as much as possible.

                            I have similar problem. I was a tenant of Appasamy krishna hospital, 100 feet bypass road, Velachery first floor office space. Landlord collected advance 50, 000/- . I given 3 months notice to landlord when i ask money to the Landlord he shouted at me showed me a inflated bill. He even charged water bill for 3 months as well as 1500/- per month as electricity bill even i used only 250/- month and taken 1 month advance rent. When we argued about this He locked his compound gate that time my car was inside his compound. We suddenly call the police they reached within 5 mins and come forward as middle man between me and landlord. So we got half of the money.Anyway Landlord Dr. Durai raj played a very dirty game to avoid paying remaining of money. I never see such mad man in my Life.

                            i have logged police complaint for the same. police called him and he says i am not at my place and giving reason. i have to leave india in a week i gave him 30 days notice period but he gave me big hand during last 4 days of my vacant. he has also cheated other tenants in the same way.
                            I am Pradeep Agrawal, rented a flat in Mumbai through a broker[Ashish Patel [protected]] in July 2014. Flat Address is [2102, 59-C, Panchratna Apartment Malad West]. Broker promised to give proper agreement and took brokerage fees INR 20000 including brokerage of one month rent(14500) and INR 5000 for agreement and document, but The document seems from notary(may cost 500 rather 5000), which he actually handover to me after 2 month of possession. Document has no details of owner and broker in it. As per doc owner name is Pinky Singh.
                            Due to income tax rules I insisted broker to provide owner pan card details, in PAN Card owner name is [Pinky Atul Singh], PAN Card Number is AODPS8886B, Her Father Name is [Atul Gopi Singh].
                            She/Owner has Bank Account in PMC Bank Oshiwara Branch Account Number[protected].
                            Here I am expecting INR 5000/- which I paid extra to broker.

                            I paid 50, 000 INR deposit via cheque and first month rent as cash and remaining month rents in post dated cheque in advance. As per agreement either side has to give one month notice period, which I gave on 10th December 2014 and I vacated the flat on 10 Jan 2015. In the document owner address and contact number is not there and he never share the same with me. Owner mentioned his address as same address where I was staying, so I could not sent notice in written or through email/SMS to the owner. I gave notice to broker on 10th December and handover the key to broker on 10 January. I sent messages also which I don't have now in my sent folder. Broker is continuously making excuses regarding refund and I have no whereabouts of owner, I got owner husband contact number recently from society but he never picks my call. Owner's husband name is Jay Soni [[protected]].
                            Here I am expecting full return of my security deposit INR 50, 000 and almost 3 month of interest in that amount.

                            In September Society asked me to pay 5000 refundable deposit but while leaving they told me that they have adjusted in pending NOC charges of owner and you should contact owner. Actually as per the agreement all maintenance charges should be paid by owner. So Here I am expecting return of my deposit INR 5, 000 either from society or owner.

                            I paid INR 483/ for Previous electricity bills which were pending as owner did not paid them before my possession.

                            I gave notice to leave the flat as soon as I came to know that the other flat in the society has rent in the range of[protected], but owner was charging me 14500, which was not acceptable to me. I am not asking any refund here, as per document I have to pay the same.

                            Even after handing over keys owner put the rent cheque in the bank, which I cancelled fortunately. They have my advanced cheque and can misuse them, I have to cancel them every month which cost INR 55/-

                            There intention is wrong and they might want to suppress me as I have no support, they might be thinking that I will forget all things one day due to weak system we have. So guys I need your advice and support to fight this issue harder, We all must fight for right and truth.

                              non refund of security amount
                              we had taken a house floor on rent in bangalore, Jebanbhima nagar in october 2007 from the owner Mr. shankar rent amount of rs.5000 for two people this like a pay guest but it not pay guest and REFUNDABLE Security of Rs. 40000, ( 30000 paid by me + 10000 by room mate ) and due job reason room mate vacated the house after few months by that room mate ask for advance . he ha dnot paid since i was staying still. so 5000 adjusted in next month room rent rest 5000 added in my advance that means 35000.
                              from the day he left he was keep asking to bring another person .i ahve told him that i did not have any friend s to join here so you put tolet board for house since he was given as paying guest .

                              after couple months ;ater he did not get any person then he started asking me pay full amount 5000 ever month then i did not agree for the same .
                              then the landlord sk to vacate the room . i had vacate the room sept 2008, and after repeated calls and reminders, the owner is now not returning our security and threatening us in the name of some police officials that he will have us behind the bars.

                              now i am planing to file a case consumer court please help us in the matter

                                1. advance paid by me for house to the owner ( through cheque)
                                2. cheques given by owner as refund of advance while vacating the house.
                                3.cheques bounced.( he cheated me with use less cheques)

                                I paid rent advance through Cash. No receipt was taken. When I vacated, he did not refund the advance. I lodged a complaint to the nearest police station. There, the police cop advised him to refund the same. He gave a PDC for the advance with some rent adjustment. Further, the cheque got bounced later. The cheque was bounced with the reason " Account is closed". What should be the course of action on him..

                                  Dear Sir,
                                  A charity NGO which helps blindpeople getting sight has been cheated by a house owner in chennai who has taken rental advance of Rs.3 lakhs through cheque but not returning.

                                  The charity paid the money to Mr Ramakrishna Puroshot, Mobile-[protected] and [protected] as advance through bank cheque with a confidence that the agreement will be done later.

                                  when the charity went to occupy the house for office, they found the house is not ready as committed and hence have to take another space to start the work. And now this man is not refunding the money to the charity.

                                  what can be done to this kind cheaters?

                                  As this man is not paying back the staff have to sacrifice the salary to recover the paid amount as it's official money which can not be accounted with out occupying the office.

                                  Any help would be appreciated.

                                  Can you please advice what can be done in my situation.
                                  i took a rented house on 5 july 2008. since then i was paying my rents and other charges regularly, but there were too many problems in that house i.e. water and electricity problem. now i shifted my house in the month of december 2008. i was telling my owner to make the agreement but he made it after 4 months and that also in local language which i cannot understand. actually rent which i was paying was Rs2700/ but in agreement it was written Rs3000/ without my knowledge. so i didnot sign that. now i shifted to another house. but my owner is not returning the security deposit of Rs 20000/.                                   Recently, I stayed in a house in 6th Block Koramangala. When I took the flat the owner and his family was always smiling and happy. The name of the owner is Prashanth Reddy (Bldg no 22, 17th A Main, 6th block Kathalipalya). His phone number is [protected]. The owner said then when u leave the house you need to paint the walls of the house.

                                  When I was leaving the house the owner asked me to paint the doors & grills as well. When I said that you didn't said at the time of giving the house he totally disagreed. Finally, I had no option to paint the doors and grills as the owner was not giving the deposit amount. After that also the owner deducted 500/- for electricity bill and 400/- rs for cleaning the room which my painter already cleaned. For giving the deposit cheque the owner made me run after him for 5 days. Everyday he use to come next day at a partilcular time. It was a painful experience for me.

                                  Hence, request you all to please don't take a flat owned by the above mentioned owner and at the mentioned address.

                                  How to complaint about my lanlord who is refusing to pay back the Deposit amount back even after vacating the House. Somebody assist me. He is simply dragging us behind him without refunding the Deposit amout which we paid in advance while leasing his house for Rent.

The landlord has taken 19,000 as security deposit, but when my husband wa snot comfortable stayin gin that PG, so he vacated teh PG. The landlord never handed over security deposit of 19,000 to my husband. Instead he threatened him saying you can complain anywhere you want but he will not return the money.
