I have sent parcel consists of Baby formulae milk. The total value of the parcel was approximately. $150, but as they deliver it in India the customs department has asked for another Rupee 6700, That is equivalent to almost $120.
Please tell me what the point is of sending the milk if I have to pay for it.

Indian Customs have some empathy towards the hard working people.
You should change your regulations.
No wonder why people don't like Indian system.

Indian Government need to grow up, show some leniency towards kids, they are the future.

Hello, I have a placed an order from Nike - order no. [protected]. After uploading the document I’ve been getting a message that my KYC documents are rejected because the delivery address does not match the address in the docs. I am staying in my friends house in Noida and have provided the address of his house along with an electricity bill as a proof. However the documents are still getting rejected. Please help resolve this fast!

Been sending them emails from last three weeks but no revert. Went personally but refused to give my parcel without giving any reason. This is not customs they are thieves.

Someone there to clear the parcel or to communicate? I sent my person to customs office but the person present there did not handover the parcel neither gave any reason to keep it on hold since last one month. The manager Harish or Satish was on lunch for three hours and never came back from lunch to clarify or resolve. What exectly is all this going on with people’s valuables?? Have already somehow ‘lost’ several prepaid parcel in customs of India but won’t let this one go in someone else’s pocket!!
Why you guys don’t you clear the parcels for weeks and then refuse to handover without any reasons if someone takes all the pain to come to your customs office to know!!! ?? What is this monkey business going on??

My friend have send me a mac book as a gift through us postal service on may 8 and it was reached india on may 16 2019 and i thought it will reach to me soon. As custom clearance was done on the same date. Had ordered for breast pump parts from the us which had been dispatched from los angeles on 31st march 2019 for delivery to kolkata (700040), india.

The parts were dispatched via the us postal service with tracking number ua[protected]us.
The product is either detained with customs department or indian postal service. With 12 days gone, i still have no way to track the item or even know for sure if the item is misplaced or lost or on its way.

Hi, i ordered some cosmetics below 2k which was around 1300 and i was charged 500 for this which is against the law as per the conditions laid down under the cth 9804 & under clause 3 (I) (I) of foreign trade. And not just this, i'm always charged even if i'm ordering something just worth 500 rs. Where's the law applied? You have set up the laws and now your officers don't tend to imply by them, so who is it laid down for? I want to register a complaint regarding the custom officer in mumbai international airport.
I was coming back from dubai (Around 6 am, 12th feb passport number - h9721820) after my 5 day vacation and got 2 silver set for myself worth inr 56, 000/-
Since i bought the silver jewellery i went to the custom officer my self. I told them its worth and they still charged me inr 20, 000/- @ 35% import duty. (Please find attached custom reciept and jewellery bill)

Since i was not aware of the rule (Inr 45000 is duty free, and there is only 10% duty), they threatened me if i will not pay they will seize my jewellery.

I paid the amount.

I felt really cheated by the officers.

I am salary based employee and inr 20, 000 is a big value for me.

I would like to request you please look into the issue and refund my hard earned money back.

I'm using korak mahindra bank. They publish as o balance account but when im nothing using the account they charge around 885/per month. I sent multiple emails directly to kotak ceo but no response. My mother who is a fourth time oral cancer survivor, was travelling from kerala to mumbai. She had a mask on her mouth and a tube connected to her belly for feeding. The lady custom officer jumped back with her eyes shot out actually fearing that it was a bomb. How ignorant and stupid is she. My parents had to cam the custom officer down and explained to the other custom officers about her medical condition, who started querying why she hiding her face and the very suspicious tube on connected on outside of her belly. They felt she was going to blow up the airport along with herself and my dad. This ignorance can happen only in india. Disrespect for medical patients, but if it was a film star you would have been drooling and trying to serve the. Do you know how the other airports treat medical patients and patients like my mother or on wheel chair? With courtesy; check it out. This officer whose name is MR Khubi ram become a preventive officer in baggage departments of mbpt who is day and day out deal with Custome house agent and who is take bribe every day from all CHA and not dealing with passenger who come for outside county and behave like big shot man, and he treat normal passenger as with improper manner, he is one of the biggest curupted officer in indian custom and change their duty according to where he want because tell that my relative in income tax department ... I travelled from coimbatore airport to singapore via silk air yesterday night. I have to declare gold and waited for more than an hour, but customs officials didn't come to departure area. Airlines officials also tried their best to bring customs officials for gold declaration. But customs officials declined giving reasons like short of hands to work etc., airport manager from departure cell also tried to contact them, but no use. Finally i have to rush to immigration check and aircraft otherwise i will have to miss the flight.

Next time when i am taking gold to india, customs will be demanding for tax. How can pay double tax for same gold?

I have ordered a shipment of laptop bag worth approximately inr 8500 from australia through fedex. When i received it, they have asked me to pay 9500/- as part of duty. When i enquired about the same the fedex agent told that the customs officer has appraised this bag to be worth 21000/- and thus asking me to pay duty and gst based on his appraisal. I have an invoice and also credit card statement that says i have bought this item for inr 8500/-.

I had ordered the collection on 2 september and it reached india on 18 september. Since then it has been stuck in old delhi railway junction according to the tracking app. Seeing the complaints of the poor services of indian customs, it’s worrying me too. I do not know where to lodge complaint or even get in touch for queries. Do let me know how to go about it.

I had ordered item from US. The item was departed from Los Angles. But after that it stuck into indian custom. Now the shipper and receiver both of not know in which pffice item is. Indian post says item is in US while Us Post says item was departed and stuck in custom but they didn't know office.

I need my stuff back that was stolen by the custom officers and employees. There are various complaints of such sort over here but no step is seen to be taken. I mean, they are so greedy that they would even steal lipsticks from the parcels. I ordered from feelunique.com and all I got in the package was one of the things I ordered. Two of my lipsticks had been stolen by the customs officers, not only this the box was cut open and almost destroyed and was put together using glue and my receipt was also taken out so that I didn't realize anything was stolen. I NEED FPR WHAT I PAID. Indirectly they are stealing people's money and putting them into loss. This is not the first time things of this sort has happened to me if happened once before too. I need this to stop.
