This is regarding unethical behaviour of a traffic police officer, dressed in khakhi, deployed at Old Zoo Chowk at Jaipur, on 26th March, 2023, Sunday at around 1 pm. We are residents of Dehradun and went to Jaipur as tourists on 25th March, 2023. Since our car bears Uttarakhand number, our car was stopped by a traffic police officer at old zoo chowk on 26th March, Sunday. He asked us to bring our vehicle to a side and told us to pay challan....

Hi,
I was coming from gurgaon to jaipur. On nh48 i had speed of 96kmph. Near daulatpura traffic police interceptor has stopped me and charged 400inr on overspeed limit. They shown me speed of 96kmph of my car which was overspeed.
As per new rule on nh speed limit increased to 100kmph.
How traffic police was not aware and no signboard has been changed. Need action and refund of my money....

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against the behaviour of traffic police officer in Jaipur. On May 23, 2024, at approximately 9:27 AM, As I was going to my office i.e. Union Bank of India (Govt. of India) situated at Opp Dwarka Dass garden, Near SFS B2 bye-pass, Mansarovar Jaipur, when I reached at traffic signal at Mansarovar metro station the traffic signal was already showing red signal, so I stop there as per rule. Due to high temperature and heat wave, I along with many other vehicles shift under metro pillar shadow. Then Mr. Kajod mal arrive there with high aggressive manner and abuse us in very shameful language and scuffle with me (You can see whole incident of cameras on traffic signal from 9.25 to 9.30 Am dt 23.05.2024). When I asked for the reason why are you shouting on me then he again abuse in shameful language and asked me for driving licence and RC and I show him all required documents. Then he asks me for giving 500 rupees as bribe and warn me that give me Rs 500/- for settlement otherwise I will seize your vehicle. I refused for giving bribe then again, he became aggressive. I was requesting for my vehicle as was already half an hour late for my office. I was issued a challan after 1 hour (Challan No. RJ[protected] by Traffic Police, Flying Squad No. 1, at VIPKA-M-6, Mohan Nagar, Gopalpura, Jaipur, Rajasthan.

He mentioned many penalties in challan (Challan copy also enclosed) During this interaction, the officers in question not only misbehaved with me but also used abusive language. This behaviour is highly unprofessional and unacceptable. Such conduct from law enforcement personnel is deeply concerning and undermines public trust in the police force. I request you to investigate this matter thoroughly and take appropriate disciplinary action against the officers involved, specifically your officer Mr. Kajod Mal. It is crucial for the police force to maintain decorum and treat citizens with respect to ensure a harmonious and just society. I have attached a copy of the challan along with Driving license and RC of vehicle for your reference. I look forward to your prompt response and appropriate action to address this issue.

Sir, I am writing this complaint to put light on the unethical behaviour/Rude/Foul language used by traffic constable at kanta, jaipur. I had parked my scooty just for some sec and stopped to buy vegetables nearby my scooty. The traffic constable with his tow team, unnecessary towed my vechicle and when I stopped them they started misbehaving with me as well as with my mother. I went to the home last day from office and one of traffic police officer at Nandpure red light malviya nagar has trying to stop me forcefully by luck i save my self to fall down on road where so many vehicles passed behind me which can easily paas the vehicle over to me.. it's my humble request to take action against him..

Iwas travelling from Delhi to Jaipur in my car and was charged Rs 2, 000/- by traffic constable w/o receipt for wrong turn on MI Road on 13-10-22 crossing. The signal was green but there were two lanes and it is not clear to any non local resident to differentiate which lane for right turn though some people were going straight from right turn lane the constable did not stop. Perhaps he had seen Delhi number plate and wanted to extort money. This shows the city cops in bad light as Jaipur is one of the most visited place for tourists around the world.

Hello sir today at the location durgapura bus stand on red light i stopped my car i am with my wife, kid and sister inlaws. After signal became green i crossed the singnal and took a right side turn. But suddenly they stopped my car the two female police constables stopped me i ane my wife both have tied seat belts also after that they were accusing me for crossing signal at red light but i didn't crossed any singnal at the time when it was red. And they allowed to go cars along with me. One of the female constable were saying that timer could be wrong. And after that Mr. Nemichand HC who is head constable there have made a challan after very much request he gave me a challan of no parking instead of red light crossing but i am pretty sure i didn't crosssed red light they are doing that only because they want to complete thier target's. And it's 2nd or 3rd time when a policeman stopped me even for crossing green signal.

I am posted as Deputy Commissioner, State GST, Jaipur, My office is situated at Zonal Kar Bhawan, Jhalana Institutional Area, Jaipur.
With utter shock I have to convey that on[protected] when I was going to my office by my office vehicle No. RJ41TA0501. The traffic constable deputed at Bajaj Nagar Chouraha Red Light intercepted my vehicle even if we had not disobeyed any traffic rule.. When my driver asked the reason for the same, he told my driver to show his license, R.C. etc. The driver showed him all the required documents and politely asked him what he had done against the traffic rule, the constable has no answer instead he told that " tere ko pata nahi hai ki taxi chalane ke bhi niyam hote hai " when driver asked " Sir mujhe nahi pata aap bata dijiye mene konsa rule toda hai" then he asked " tune driver ki vardi nahi pahni hai " when my driver told him " sir mujhe pata nahi tha me ab vardi banwa lunga, mujhe jane dijiye, Madam late ho rahi hai" He started talking like "Gadi idhar laga" All this incident took place at Bajaj Nagar Chouraha itself which created traffic mess up and public inconvinience, when I interupted and told " abhi hume jane dijiye hum aage se dhyan rakhenge, hume jankari nahi thi" the constable annoyedly told " Madam me aapse bat nahi kar raha " and he made us stand there. The behaivior of that constable ( I don't know his name as he was not wearing his warrant/identitiy card) was very rude and harassing. Sir my humble request is to stop this harassment by traffic police and look into the matter.

Traffic police on jhalana road Mr. Surendra Singh and sub inspector Mr. Babu Lal has ask to stop the car even we haven't broke any traffic rule and ask us show licence then we showed licence to them they asked to show papers in which they found that our pollution control has expired on 20th July. Then they asked to give them 200 rupees and ensure that we are not recording the scenario

When they asked that if we are recording the scene I said I am not but I should

And they both were completely focusing on us and not controlling traffic and observing other people following traffic rules or not.

fortunately My other friend has recorded the scene.

We were going for a office meeting and they got us stuck in such situations and misbehaved with us.

I really expect the enquiry towards these monsters who are stopping anyone on the road which is not even a place for traffic police to stand and stop the vehicles, they themselves are not following the rules

Many traffic signals at Sikar Road from Alka Tiraha to Sun and Moon Chouraha are not properly working. Bulbs or traffic signals are not working leading to chaos and chances of accidents.

Please look into the matter.

जब मेरी गाड़ी रुकी थी तो कार के आगे ट्रक था जिसमे चारा भरा था जिससे मुझे लाइट नहीं दिख रही थी।तब मैं ट्रैफिक पुलिस के हाथ के इसारे के अनुसार कार चला रहा था और वो आगे बढ़ने का इशारा कर रहे थे।

जैसे ही मेरी गाड़ी ने रोड क्रॉस किया दूसरे ट्रैफिक पुलिस वाले ने गाड़ी रोक ली और मेने पूछा की क्या हुआ हैं। तो वो बोले की ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस दिखा दो और चले जाना।

जैसे ही मैने ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस दिखाया उन्होंने ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस रख लिया और बोलने लगे की तुमने red light मै गाड़ी क्रॉस की है इसलिए लाइसेंस जब्त होगा। मेंने रिक्वेस्ट की, की मेरी कोई गलती नही है मैं तो ट्रैफिक पुलिस के अनुसार ही गाड़ी चलाया हु उनसे पूंछ लीजिए पर उन्होंने मेरी एक भी बात नही सुनी।और धमकी देने लगे की ज्यादा बोलोगे तो अभी 2, 3 चालान ओर बना देंगे।और लाइसेंस लेकर चले गए और हम उनके पीछे पीछे घूमते रहे। मेने कहा की ये तो जबरदस्ती है तो वो बोले कि जबरदस्ती है तो है तुमसे जो होता है वो कर लो।और श्रीमान आप भी जानते हो की इतनी भीड़ में कोई रेड लाइट केसे क्रॉस करेगा। हमने बोला की चालान बना दीजिए पर लाइसेंस दे दीजिए हमारी कोई गलती नही है चाहे तो आप सीसीटीवी कैमरा चेक कर लीजिए।फिर वो हमसे बदतमीजी करने लगे की तुम्हारी औकात नही है तुम हो कोन जो सीसीटीवी देखे। और बदतमीजी करने लगे। और हमसे रिश्वत मांगने लगे की अगर यहां ले लोगे तो ठीक है नही तो कोर्ट के चक्कर लगाने पड़ेंगे।
मेने पैसे के लिए मना किया तो उन्होंने कहा की तुम्हे जो करना है कर लो लाइसेंस नहीं मिलेगा ।
और धमकी देने लगे की तुम गाड़ी लेके चले जाओ नही तो अभी पुलिस बुलाके गाड़ी को बंद करवा दूंगा। श्रीमान मेरी पत्नी और बहन और भाई सब परेशान होते रहे लेकिन उन्होंने हमारी एक नही सुनी और जबरदस्ती चालान बना दिया और लाइसेंस रख लिया । उन्होंने किसी ने भी ड्रेस पर नाम प्लेट नही लगा रखी थी।और जब हमने नाम पूछा तो बोले अब ज्यादा बोल रहे हो तुम चुपचाप चले जाओ यहां से।मेने बोला की मैं आपकी शिकायत करूंगा तो बोले की कही भी कर देना हमारा कोई कुछ नही बिगाड़ सकता और हमे वहा से धमकी देकर भगा दिया और जबरदस्ती चालान पर साइन करवा लिए।इस घटना के लिए श्रीमान आप सीसीटीवी भी चेक कर सकते है। श्रीमान मैं दिल्ली रहता हु।अब मुझे driving licence के लिए बहुत परेशानी हो रही है।

श्रीमान जी से निवेदन है की इस मामले की जांच करे। और ऐसे रिश्वतखोरों के खिलाफ कार्यवाही हो।

Sir, we pay taxes and do not live for free in this country.
After paying a hefty amount on taxes and having a hole in your pocket, you go out to have a good time or fr anything with your family/friends/gf...btw, these people have known you for years and respect for what you are.
Suddenly, you get stopped by a traffic sipahi and he starts talking in an abusive language. When you ask that you don't even have proper uniform, how can you cut my challan, hw becomes more furious and starts abusing you loudly and warns you that if you ask questions like that, i will seize your license. After having all these abuses, you again pay a minimum of 1000 rs to government and move on easily.
But, while coming back, the thought which comes in your mind is,
What my kids/friends/gf must be thinking about me after such incident?
Should i burn this bike here only due to which i had to face such abuses?
What am i paying those taxes for when i cannot even get the basic thing .i.e. repsect from the people who are living on those taxes?
Shouldn't i stop paying taxes from now on since its all is in vain.
Be it narsi lal or rajesh kumar from jaipur traffic police, the whole country has the same problem nd its really sad to see that such officers go unpunished while we, the people of india, loose our respect to such 12th pass people everyday.

On date 08 Mar 22 I was driving on Road no.-12, Vishwa Karma Industrial Area, Jaipur-302032 from Chomu Puliya to Harmada Puliya.
I crossed at four-way cossing when it was just about to become Yellow light along with other vehicles. A traffic policeman especially stopped me and intimidated me to raise a challan for Rs.1000/-. I repeatedly told him that I was not at fault. Again he intimidated more by chanting the names of civil actions such as Court, Police action etc. He indirectly pointed me to give him a bribe for the same. Finally after a short discussion he issued me a challan of Rs.200/- against the false and self-calculated offence "Parking in no parking zone".

I was on cab service duty to a Flying Pilot Rajkumar Sir serving in Indian Air Force and presently in prestigious task and national commitment "Operation Ganga-Ukraine Russia War".
He felt too much shame on such policemen who are so much biased with the traffic rules-regulations, policies and the common people.

I am a poor person and my daily saving income rarely exceeds Rs.200/- per day after COVID. How can I feed my family with pride having such a Traffic Police Administration.
Kindly resolve my issue and let me get back my valuable money earned after 24 hrs hardship.

this is to bring to your notice that there are young boys in our locality (Saryu marg/Teuram park/Ryan Int. school at V.T. Road in Mansarovar) who ride bullent and avaneger bikes with silencers removed, thus making loud heart-wrenching noises and tease the girl living in PGs and Homes nearby by making cracking sounds close to them continuously. This happens in every evening after 7pm.
This is highly deplorable behaviour and Public Nuisance to all but none of authorities seem to be acting on this issue.

Please take note.

I am outsider of jaipur.. My mistake was crossing red light.. They caught me for my mistake... One lady caught me and asked me for my driving license.. She was in her official dress, but due to giving anyone my driving license i asked her for her official id politely, due to my securities concern.. It is totally fair to ask traffic officer for their id's.. But she started yelling on me & threating for no reason, & refused to show her id & said i'm dressed up and i cannot ask her for her id.. She was totally illiterate officer..
This is very important to ask for id to the officers before paying any chalan.. It can be fraud or unauthorized person..
Other officers show their id's then they gave chalan.. Ask to collect for office..

Today my wagon R was lifted from national handloom, Vidhyadhar Nagar jaipur. When I reached jhotwara center to collect it, they offered me Rs300 in place of challan of Rs 580.
I agreed once and called my father but suddenly they changed their mind fearing of any complaint and cut the challan for Rs 580. My wife and daughter were with me.

M delhi se jaipur meri car se aa raha tha, meri car ki speed 79km/hr thi. M nh-8 highway par tha. Kunda se jaipur ki taraf approx 2 km ke aage speed checking ho rahi thi.
Vaha par meri car ko rukwaya gya aur muje bola ki apka over speed ka chalan katega.
Mene bola ki yaha to nh-8 highway h tab unhone bola ki yaha speed limit h jabki vaha aaspaas koi village ya ciyu nhi thi.
Aur usne muje bola ki ap 1900 rs de do to ja sakte ho fir apka chalan nhi katega. Aur usne ye bhi batya ki chalan 400 rs h.

Mene usko bola ki m chalan hi katwaunga apko 1900 rs kyu du. Tab usne muje bahut daraya ki tu life ki sabse badi galti kar raha h, tujhe puri jindgi yahi sochega ki tune itni bagi galati ki h.
Usne ye bhi kaha ki ab tu jindgi bhar vehicle nhi chala payega aur tera kabi bhi licence nhi ban payega aur ye licence kabi bhi vapis nhi milega.

Sir please inko apni duty ke liye strict kiya jaye.

In jese polic walo ki vajah se bharstachar panap raha h sir.

मैं राजस्थान सरकार की एक gazetted senior अफ़सर हूँ और यातायात नियमों का पालन करती हूँ ।कृपया ड्राइवर सीट सहित फ़ोटो भेजने की कृपा करें क्योंकि केवल नम्बर प्लेट की फ़ोटो लेने से यह पता नहीं चलता की गाड़ी सड़क पर ग़लत तरीक़े से पार्क थी । 9/7/2019 को मैंने सब्ज़ी ख़रीदने के बाद अपने ड्राइवर को सब्ज़ी की दुकान पर बुलाया था और मैं सब्ज़ी वाले के साथ गाड़ी में बैठने आयी उतनी देर मैं गाड़ी में बैठे ड्राइवर ने बताया कि policeवाला फ़ोटो खींच के लेकर जा रहा है । मैंने तुरंत ही उक्त police वाले से बात की तो मुझे बताया गया की आपकी गाड़ी का चालान नहीं किया गया है ।
मैंने उस वक़्त सड़क पर ग़लत तरीक़े से पार्क क़रीब 8-10 भी दिखायीं और चलती गाड़ी में मोबाइल पर बात करते लोग भी दिखाए जिनका कोई चालान नहीं किया जा रहा था । बल्कि मुझसे कहा गया कि एक ऐप है जहाँ मैं फ़ोटो खींच कर डाल सकती हूँ ।
निवेदन है की गाड़ी में मेरा ड्राइवर बैठा था । गाड़ी पार्क नहीं थी ।
इस तरह से आम जनता को परेशान करना बहुत ही ग़लत है ।
यदि चालान किया ही था तो पैसे उसी वक़्त ले लेते...यादगार पर बुलाने का क्या मतलब है.. यह तो बिलकुल परेशान करने वाली बात है । उक्त policeवाले ने अपना छोटे से नोट पैड भी दिखाया कि मैडम आपकी गाड़ी का नम्बर नहीं लिखा है ।

Drivers do not stop at the junction of patel marg & new sanganer road & junction of vt road & new sanganer road respectively even if the light is red. This becomes impossible & life threatening for people to cross the junction when the light for them is green. There are heavy vehicles & trucks on new sanganer road and they continue driving at high speed without bothering whether the light is green or not. Also the two wheelers in general do not stop at traffic light at all at various junctions in jaipur. I had made a complaint earlier too but nothing has changed till date. Request please look into this matter as this is a serious issue and can be fatal. Also at the goliyawas circle at vande mataram marg firstly there is no light at night and motorists drive on wrong side. As it is too big, the wrong side vehicles come to notice only when they are in close proximity. Please thus look into this as well and take some measures to avoid any untoward incident happening.

I was stopped at round about at sindhi bus stand for not wearing the seat belt while coming back to delhi from jaipur. The person who stopped me ask for 600 rs against the fine of 100 rs for the same. When i objected to it he tried to threatened me saying your license will get suspended or you have to carry all documents to main office and that will take 3-4 hours at least.
Finally he took rs 300 from me (Bribe) before returning my license.
Can senior traffic personnel can take a note of such illegal activities by their people and take actions against these corrupted officers?

I got fine by police for not wearing helmet just infornt of my house in the colony in SFS, Mansarovar. They fined irrelevent amount 500rs instead of the 100rs that is actual fine according to the traffic rule and regulation under 262. I want to the department to take action against my complain and I was righteous judgement for my complain. I got wrongly fined by the police men and I got humiliated and threatened by them they will going to confiscate my vehicle. I had my original linenece with me and helmet with me but they confiscated my lincense and fined me with excessive amount.

I have submitted my challan money in cash at yadgar office ajmeri gate and have received my driving licence from officers at present there. After 10 days when i checked my online echallan status it shows that matter sent to court and your challan is due. This is fair corruption in traffic department.

Traffic police shri chand hc-985 (Hc[protected] cut the challan no 20180c[protected] for not giving bribe rs 100/-. I have denied to give bribe rs 100/- since all vihicle douments were completed but he cut the challan with reason "person sitting in the back sit was not wearing helmet" as well as sign on challan himself. I was alone when he cut the challan.

I was standing on a bike on a traffic signal without helmet, I know that is a mistake, no issues if they caught me but I have issues on how they work. They were three people only was one working and other two were gossiping and on the signal were I was standing there were many people who were standing without helmets but when I told them catch all of them then he replied I don’t know about all. And the other 2 said we are only three people, where we will keep an eye. I agree but three people can catch at least three vehicles not running behind them but on the signal atleast. People were going freely in front of them. Even there is a girl standing on a scooter without helmet he was not catching her. This is injustice. Girls are totally equal. This is not equality. And one of those was not speaking properly. Don’t have manners to speak. When I asked him speak with manners he said to me that you are not gazetted and when I asked them that you will not speak properly with public he said no. Don’t ruin your career and asked me to go. They gave me a threat that don’t ruin your career. They speak with manners with officials only. Public is nothing to the system. Public is like garbage pickers to them.
