This is to inform that we are facing fluctuations in voltage during night or very low voltage due to which not even the fans or even a night bulb works properly which results in our discomfort & we are not able to sleep peacefully. This problem has occured multiple times since the beginning of summers (from March) & has caused us a lot of trouble.
I am facing the mentioned issue even right now when I am filing this complaint & I & my family members are not able to sleep well. I am pretty sure that other residents of my locality are also facing inconvenience because of this issue. I request you to please look into the matter.

    Recharge payment for kesco smart meter

    Hello sir/mam

    I have a issue regarding recharge payment for kesco smart meter acc no. 12754698

    I recharged my meter account with Rs500 at 10:08 am on 2 june 2023 through your merchant site billjunction.com via sbi net banking
    But the account did not reflect with the desired balance and the amount was also deducted from bank account

    Kindly look into the matter

      Kindly check my problem and solve it as soon as possible .

          Regarding Prepaid Meter

          We got a new meter connection last year in March 2021 (Genus Prepaid Meter, Load = 3 kw) for the apartment (A2-6/95 KDA Residencies, O -Block Kidwai Nagar, Kanpur).

          1.) We have recharged that meter couple of times in a span of 1 year (total
          = 6500/- till date). First time recharged for 1500/- which lasted around 3
          to 4 months, second time for 1000/- and the balance displaying as 350/-
          only, lastly...

          I recharged prepaid meter with 1000 and 1000 rupees for two times. money has been debited but there is no voucher code when i click on the link provided what to do? I need a refund for it. I called complaint customer care number no one received it. I even mailed it but there was no message back. My prepaid meter hasn’t been recharged due to the unavailability of voucher code but the money has been debited from my bank account

            I am consumer of KESCO. Have a power connection & load of 18.5 ho, acc. no. 34111521 and consumer name Ram jiyai. Till date no one has come for meater reading (MRI reading), while my last bill(September) was generated on 09sep2021and it was of duration 33 days.
            Sir I have very humble request that my meater reading should be on time and generation of bill should be on time.

                  As usual, I had made the above payment online. So, no amount was pending.

                  The same bill date now updated on 8 April, 2021 with the new amount.

                  This is completely unethical and wrong behavior. We are facing unnecessary trouble because of that.

                  I request senior officials of Kanpur KESCO to kindly intervene in to this and correct the glitch immediately.

                          This in reference to the electricity bill payment dated 17.10.2020 through kesco.co.in website.

                          The amount was deducted from the my account and not credited to kesco.
                          Same has not been refunded till now.
                          Kindly do the needful on priority .

                          Message from the bank for your reference-

                          A/c XX6584 debited by INR 4417 by EFT/ATM txn on 17-OCT-20 22:01:44. Now Clear balance is Credit INR 9447.24 If txn not done, call [protected] or SMS ADCBLOCK to [protected] to block all digital channel txns-eOBC

                              I have issue with the billing amount which is increasing every month from last 3 months. The consumption of the months is 163, 148, 140 that is too high. My normally bill amount is just 150-200. I have 2 fan, 3 LED bulb of 7watt same equipment using from April May june july and from August it comes with 800-900 bill amount. Please do the needful.

                                  This is a complaint against electric department nemaed KESCO.
                                  Last month I got the message with lumpsum amt. Of 21000/- which I paid on the very next day .
                                  And this month I didn't received any message of the due which should be submitted.
                                  There is no fault from us then also penalty of Rs. 708 is charged .
                                  And after depositing the bal. With penalty Today in the morning then also the connection has been disconnected .
                                  The complaint no. Given by kesco are not receiving any call, I'm trying from last 2 hrs.
                                  Hence, it's a humble request to please help me out .
                                  Either messages shall be sent on time, so that I can submit my dues on time .
                                  Or else the meter should be converted as it was earlier .
                                  The consumers are very anxious from smart meters .

                                      I have paid my KESCO bill of cunsumer no.36950081 in name of Rajani Katiyar on 14.06.20 viya KESCO app.it was failed due to not known reason.then talking to my bank consumer helpline for debited amount they told us to repay my bill amount and not to wait for this payment.then I paid my bill on 15.06.20 again to avoid disconnection KESCO policy for not paying bill on time.
                                      After that I have waited for few days to resolve my problem as told by KESCO customer help no.but till date my first payment not updated on KESCO bill site nor it is returned to my original account.please help.

                                              I had purchased a flat in the sales tax road, kanpur approx 1 year back from mrs. Anu kushwaha (Builder - rama group),

                                              Till now we are facing electric meter issues and informed her several times but no strict and judicious action had been taken.

                                              Electric meter connection is not given as promised - in-spite from temporarily connection - lights are given to sub-meter and money is charged for it.

                                              Government had passed ruling that there will be separate connection for each multi-user but her employee rishi told today that he will install single connection and then distribute the load. Now, he is configuring the same and not hearing our complains regarding multi-point connection.

                                              They had put even govt rulings and jurisdiction at stack, and seems that they will do whatever they want.

                                              I had already applied for a new domestic connection of 5 kva on 8 sept, 2018 and send several emails (To email id's :[protected]@kesco.co.in, [protected]@gmail.com) asking for the status information but received no response till yet.

                                              Also, visited kesco for details - they sometime say:-
                                              1. We don't have smart meters for multi.
                                              2. Some documents are pending from your builder side.
                                              3. Your builder haven't applied for any multi point connection, he had applied for single connection but now single connection cann't be given and he is not applying for new multi-pointy connection.

                                              Note: now the single point connection has been provided and is well set for builder - how??

                                              4. Who are you - you should talk to builder regarding this as we know builder not you.

                                              After hearing such meaning less reply - finally concluded that there is something going on among them - so finally mailing you my concern.

                                              Please help us in resolving our issue because now we are loosing hope that there will any improvement till your good offices intervention.

                                              Hope for a prompt and judicious action from your side.

                                                    Sub: high voltage problem in our building
                                                    We wish to inform you that high voltage problem (More than 255 volt) is happening in our building bearing address 117/354 l block navin nagar kakadev since 6 month back. There is a single point connection with three phase. A transformer was installed by your office for single point connection with 54 kva load since two years back. Direct line of 11000 are falling on transformer. There are no tapping in transformer so that the voltage of 220 volt may outcome from transformer.
                                                    Many of electric equipments have burnt due to this issue in several times. The blast in transformer have also occurred several times in our building which cause fear amongst us. We have also informed this issue to line man and other officer of your office but no corrective action was taken from your side.
                                                    Now we are again requesting you to take corrective action to reduce the voltage in proper mode so that the loss and fear may reduce and we could live properly. We are paying all the dues timely then why we all are suffering from high voltage problem? Please also compensate the loss of electric equipments amounting rs 5000 to the connection holder.
                                                    Please take corrective step to solve our high voltage issue.

                                                      I beg to state that power cut on18.02.18 at 8.30 am of khas bazaar sub station area patkapur kanpur is still continue and i have been told that "fault nahin mil raha hai kam jari hai," electric supply is abandoned and nobody is looking into this matter due to this we the people are suffering and unable to do our routine daily work pl. Quick action.

                                                        I am smt babita singh and residing at flat no.: 1 b, divya dham apartment, plot number: 107 d block, shyam nagar kanpur.

                                                        Since last 8 to 10 months my flat is lying vacant. No one is residing in it. Electric consumption is "nil".

                                                        In electric consumption details, the metre is being shown by your department as "metre appears defective" or "under disconnection.
                                                        But the electric bill date 9th feb 2018 it's sent for rs. 3111/-

                                                        In view of the above.

                                                        I am requesting you to

                                                        • please do corrections in my present wrong bill against my zero consumption for the bill amount of rs.3123/- present bill dated 09-feb-2018 so that i may submit my electric bill by on-line/ by net banking.

                                                        • i had repeatedly submitted my request since last 3 months and getting correction for the payment for the same, again wrong bill is sent to me.

                                                        • please do necessary instructions for corrected calculation for zero electric consumption for future months also.

                                                        • please enquire and replace the meter if, it is showing the wrong reading for the electric consumption.

                                                        • whenever any person will reside in my flats and consumes the electric, then i shall inform you.

                                                        • i am enclosing the copy of wrong bill sent to me for the month of january 2018 along with the necessary details of my payment history, consumption history and connection details.

                                                          Sir maine electricity bill by mistake 2 baar jmma ho gaya hai jiske karan mere a/c n. 16702204 me 1371/- rs ki advanced payment ho gayi hai. Mere a/c se do baar payment ho gayi hai jise 1371/-rs mai return chahta hoon. Sir kya mere according ki gayi second payment mere account me return kar sakte hai aap so please refund my money to my account. I request so please reply to me. Please.
