Consignment number lp[protected]gb stuck at kolkata ems since 24 july 2020 without any update on the tracking website, over email or on phone. Repeated phone calls unanswered for over two weeks.

Sir,
I am rohan and i purchased a nerf toy model for my brother from taiwan and it reached the kolkata ems centre on 28th oct 2019 and it was forwarded to the customs and reached the customs on 31’s oct 2019. And the status is 'custom hold awaiting presentation ‘. There has been no updates after that and, its been almost 2 weeks, i dont know what i going on but, i know that it doesn’t take much time for a small item, and its not something illegal,
If it needs to be opened for inspection or verification i understand and im fine with it,
Please try to handle it nicely avoiding damage and repack nicely.
If i need to pay some extra duty, i will pay, and please release it soon, it was supposed to be delivered a week ago.
Please tell me know how long will it take, and please ask me about it if there are any confusion, there shouldn’t have been any problem for a kids toy,
I expect your helpful response. And appreciate your time.

Dear sir,
This is regarding my shipment no. Ee[protected]th,. It was a package sent on 09. Oct.2019 with details as below:
From: ms. Rinku sahay (Bangkok, thailand)
To: mr. Rajesh pradhan (Rourkela, orissa)
The online status since 14. Oct.2019 shows that it is currently at kolkata foreign ems, with the next office as ced kolkata. The remarks mention:
Retention reason : awaiting presentation to customs commissioner.
The parcel contains handwritten letters, handmade cards and a small pencil.
Can you please update how long does it take before the parcel can be cleared from the customs and sent out for delivery. Happy to answer any queries from your end to expedite the process.

Complaint marked as Resolved Thank you. The issue is resolved.
The parcel was finally delivered today, although late - after 12 days :).
But i am just glad it was delivered.

retained by customs for unspecified reason
The package has been "retained by customs for unspecified reason". The package has reached kolkata foreign ems on 24th april 2019. And since then there has been no updates. Upon complaining, they seemed to ignore my plight and responded by saying that "by auto status update process :-"item bagged at mumbai india on 16/04/2019". It has already reached kolkata foreign ems on 24th april 2019. Please do the necessary actions from your end, kolkata foreign ems. And why are you holding items unnecessarily and keep on tormenting and harassing customers.

I have sent a parcel to my friend (Patiala, punjab-147001, india) on 1st nov, 2018 from bangladesh ems. Parcel was reached in india on 8th november 2018 since then the parcel was not delivered to my friend, please help to release the parcel. My bangladesh ems number ee[protected]bd. I have sent some urgent ayurvedic medicine to my brother in law a journalist at singapore on 24.04.18 which i have been tracking but its lying @ foreign ems (Otb) thereafter no tracking details after 25.04.18 - provided all details along with the parcel - can i know the fate of the same when usually reaches within 7 days from the date of dispatch

I have sent a below 2 kg consignment gift box to kolkata on 23/04/2018 from duba. The consignment is left dubai soon, but when reached kolkata customs its held up for no reason.
Status says that

Please help me out for releasing my parcel which is stucked in kolkata custom I have purchased the item from TOMTOP.Com the product was shipped from Singapore in the name of Srijon Dey, Dimapur, Nagaland and the parcel was reached in India on 25/04/2017 since then the parcel was not delivered to me, please help to release the parcel.

Hello Sir,
I'm wating to receive a parcel from China through EMS company The number of the parcel is EA[protected]CN. It is been hold by customs for unspecified reason from 13.05.2017. Nobody has contacted me for inquaries or explanations. I'm afraid it got lost already and a seller doesn't want to refund a payment since the parcel in this country. Please help me to solve this problem, Ive got only 7 days, otherwise my payment will be released to the seller and I will got nothing instead.

One of my order bearing number: 68582777, vide consignment no: eh[protected]sg has been shipped from singapore ems (s02) on 01/07/2019, received by mumbai ems speed post centre on 03/07/2019 at 08:58:01 hrs & receive item at office of exchange (inb) at 14:28:01 hrs on 03/07/2019 & transfer from office of exchange (inb) on 03/07/2019 at 15:51:14 hrs by air to kolkata foreign ems & still stuck there. Kindly arrange to deliver the shipment with necessary applicable charges as soon as possible.
