This is regarding operation of too loud microphones by local clubs *Vivekananda Seva Samiti' and others. The microphones run throughout the day making day to day activities very difficult. This along with honkings from high traffic in the area results in a constant loud noise. This is especially difficult for children and elders in the area. Request your assistance to kindly ask the clubs to stop the microphones especially around the residential...

Noise pollution in residential area

This is to bring to your notice that there are loudspeakers (and illegal horns) playing very loud music publicly, far above the permissible limits of 55 dB, in my locality today, 223, 12, 2023 from 17:00 hrs. Repeated calls to the local PS (Narkeldanga) in Kolkata (700009) and to Lalbazar (100) have not given any results. I am forced to bring this to your notice in hoope of some redressal.

Loudspeaker noise from neighbourhood houses

I live in Garia station, Panchpota area. 2 houses just beside our house plays disco at very loud volume everyday at random times. I am a student and this sound disturbs me a lot. Especially during the exams it harms me.
My parents have request them not to play such loud sound, but they were very rude and also threatened us that they will not allow us to live here. We are newcomers at this place, so there is noone yet in support o[censored]s.
I have already encountered several bad people here, so I am not getting the courage to go to the local police station in the fear that those bad people may have contact with them and we will fall into more trouble.
My parents have request them not to play such loud sound, but they were very rude and also threatened us that they will not allow us to live here. We are newcomers at this place, so there is noone yet in support o[censored]s.
I have already encountered several bad people here, so I am not getting the courage to go to the local police station in the fear that those bad people may have contact with them and we will fall into more trouble.

Wrong chalan case
5 days back, suddenly we received a message from the Kolkata police. It was clearly stating that our bike registered number: WB01AU2679 has been fined for wearing no helmet at the narkeldanga more. we were shocked because we haven't gone over there till the date we purchased our bike. then, we checked online to view the image of the scene, we were shocked again because tour bike was not there at the spot. A scooty, ( Suzuki Burgman ) was there at the spot, registered number: WB01AU2676. the traffic sergant noted down the number incorrectly. we called at the police station, ( beleghata ) a lot of times but they didn't receive the phone. so please help me out. we can't negotiate/tolerate anything for these kinds of miscommunication.

Intolerable noise of construction in residential area
This is to seek your help regarding excessive and intolerable noise made by construction of flat in Kasba Bakultala Area (just beside Downtown Guest House).
The noise is continuous starting from 5:30-6am till 8-9pm. It is surely above 45db of permissible limit.
We are not able sleep, work and it affects the health of ill people.
Please help as soon as possible.

Noisy and rude neighbours
I reside at 144 Kabi Mukunda Das Road, Misme Apartment, near No. 3 Rail Gate, Kumar Para and I want to complaint against my neighbour Mr. Ashok Kumar Singh and his family who live right below my apartment. Since they have moved in from February 2021 they have been annoyingly loud. They play unbearably loud television and music even at odd times of the day. They talk extremely loudly and make uncomfortable noises till late hours of the night. I have spoken to them thrice and have also written a letter of complaint to my building's commitee but they still continue to cause a nuisance everyday and they are extremely rude to every resident. It is becoming very unpleasant and depressing for me to live like this. I have exams to prepare for and since the past one year I haven't been able to live peacefully in my residence because of the unbearable noise. I suffer from insomnia now because of constantly having to deal with this situation. Please help me with this situation because I cannot keeping living like this everyday.

Loud music playing till 2 am over Loudspeaker
I live in Mangalik Co operative Housing Society Baghajatin Panchasayar Kolkata and there is a playground with party club right next to the complex and they are ruthlessly playing music on top of basic human rights for us and we are unable to live in our houses due to this leave apart the fact that we are working from home. Several calls to local police station seems to go all in vain. I have also personally walked to the club guys and told them to keep it low but they are not listening. We only ask to keep the decibels low so that we can live in our own houses at peace and they can also enjoy. Kindly please someone help us

Noisy neighbours playing loud music
I stay at Misme Apartment, near 3 number rail gate, kumarpara and I have been preparing for my exams. I have papers in just a few days and my neighbours in the next building are so loud when they talk and
the most unbearable part is when they are playing really loud music sometimes at odd times of the day and I can even hear sounds from their television. The man talks so loudly on the phone standing right in front of my window till 4 am in the morning. I have so many papers to write and it's very difficult for me to concentrate or even rest. Kindly see if something can be done about this. Thank you.

Noise Pollution in Kadapara

I am a resident of Rukmani Parasmani Apartment, 92/1B, Narkeldanga Main Road, Kolkata - 700054 (Police Station: Phoolbagan). The nearby slum dwellers have installed loudspeakers at various junctions on the main road and adjacent streets and are playing music throughout the day. Also, there are temporarily wedding area setups in the area with loudspeakers and bands playing even at 11:30pm. I have tried contacting the pollution control board but they have not been reachable. Many elderly people, patients and students are getting seriously disturbed because of this including depravity of sleep, negative effect on mental health, etc. I sincere urge the authorities to look into installations of loudspeakers, maintain approved noise pollution level and also curb playing of any music/bands post the approved time limits.

Still no avail. The music, so to say, continues. No action taken so far. Two months since I wrote this but still loudspeakers remain in the area and are used to play loud music, even post midnight! Seriously disturbing!

My name is Subhadeep residing in behala, kolkata, west bengal under the jurisdiction of Kolkata police. Today on 23 oct 2020 at 10:27 a.m. I was travelling to Exide via PTS when I stopped by a cop & asked him which way shall I proceed to reach Exide. Instead of helping me out he asked me to park my bike & show him my DL & RC. When asked he told me its a routine check so I did what I was asked to do. When I showed him my e-documents through digilocker he simply denied to accept them & kept enforcing me for original documents. When I told him about the new guidelines under motor vehicles act 1988 he said he will issue a case upon me for lane violation & even threathened me that he is capable of seizing my bike for no reason. Atlast he took 200 INR in cash from me saying its a spot fine but did not give me anything in writing about this fine. Then he told me I must leave then & next time I should carry proper documents in order to avoid penalties. I am seriously annoyed with the irrational behaviour of these corrupt cops of kolkata. They are nothing but a shame for the state's law enforcement. The ministry of road transport & highway has clearly mentioned the rules about digital documents but still kolkata police is enforcing on original docs just to empower corruption. Hats off to you guys...this is the least we can expect from you being a citizen under your jurisdiction.

I am getting threatening and abusive messages from a no [protected], and is being done by arnab dey.. i have given 5 written complaintsfor which i had to visit 8 times leaving behind my 8 months son but nothing working out. the police says he is just threatening . he keeps messaging me day n night and then an honourable person suggests me to change my no. even after repeated complaints no one is taking action and i m scared about my n my sister's life which he has been threatening for. also showed d police the messages being sent which clearly say that he is following us and is not scared of any police as his uncle will take care of them. still no action. please help i[censored] may.

Misplace of Core i5 Processor from EMALL outlet and non-cooperation of the shop owner

My father purchased a computer in 8th November, 2012 from Touchstone Infotech (Mr. Hemant Baid, Proprietor). In August 2013, some problem aroused in the CPU (within warranty period). We contacted Mr. Baid. After inspection, he advised to check the computer for any software problem. If the computer was still non-functional then there must be a problem in the Mother Board. He also told that he will take the responsibility of sending the motherboard to the service centre. Mr. Baid had shown how to remove battery, RAM and the motherboard previously. So, according to his advice my father went to Touchstone Infotech Shop with the Mother Board keeping battery and Ram at residence. Mr. Baid removed the COOLING FAN from the Mother Board and handed over the cooling fan and the motherboard to my father (without any protective cover) and told him to go to the service centre of ASUS for repairing the mother board.
On 16.09.2013, we had received the repaired Mother Board and went to 6, C. R. Avenue (Touchstone Infotech) with the CPU cabinet and other hardware articles kept with us as stated above and the cooling fan. Mr. Baid was not present in the shop; his Staff asked to hand over the INTEL i5 PROCESSOR for assembling that we did not have in our possession.
However, my father distinctly remembers that Mr. Baid had not handed over any other articles except the fan. We are common people we had no idea about the processor and where it is kept in the CPU box. The Staff asked us to go again to the service centre to collect the processor as the centre had forgotten to return the same. He also told that processor will not be returned by them as it is the costliest part of the CPU. The service centre showed us the receipt issued by them at the time of taking the mother board for repairing and subsequently taken back at the time of delivery of the repaired mother board. It was clear that they had taken only the motherboard without processor.
The assistant of Mr. Baid admitted that the processor was taken out by Mr. Baid and Mr. Baid also agreed to it. The i5 processor was misplaced in that shop due to their negligence, but they don’t want to check once again. Even Mr. Baid is not providing any co-operation. If this will be our social condition where shall we go?

As i am a student i, shamefully want to bring into your kind notice that on 14 June 2011 at 1.30 pm, i just stand my bike at a place of Esplaned region kolkata where neither no parking zone sign Bord was there, neither my bike stand was alone , i parked the bike where lots of vehicle were parked & just went to ATM for taking out money, just after 2 min when i came out from the atm, i found that my bike was toying by one police van. i went there & told the Sergent that's its my bike. he told me come to new market police station & we will relive your bike in spite o[censored]n toying other vehicle standing next to my bike , i trusted him & went walking in that hot day all alone,, & went to police station, they made me sited for along 3 hrs & after that told me, that i have to pay fine of 560 rs..& when i asked whats the reason for that. they said that my vehicle was parked in no parking zone & also harresed me. its very shame ful for police department that they are carring their wrk not for safety of people but to fill their pocket.
so my question is.
1.why they charged me 560 rs. in spite of charging 100 rs.as penalty.?
2. while training given to police , they are also taught how to use slang & abusive language to the people.?
3.if police will treat us like gundas & helpless ,then how could we trust them for any help & how can we believe in them.
4. whats are the steps taken by the commissioner of kolkata, to stop all this corruption in their department.. & if not so then we should take our responsible for every thing & think that police are coward & can only cheat us in a uniform?
5. lastly i remember our those freedom fighters & jawans, who died for this safe , safety & corruption so that the people of state should live safe & secure, but inside these police are making scratches on jaw ans works & pains.
is there any educated person who can help me to give provide the above answers,or all police & inspectors are uneducated & only take admitted to police for filling their pocket
so, its my request to all the citizens of India & the person who is reading this complain letter that please try too fight against these corruption made by kolkata police & don't give any value & respect to them until they become loyal to the their work & citizens & also stop filling their pockets which they are doing with yours sweat.

Robbed unscrupulously on the roads of Kolkata

I would like to draw the attention of Kolkata Police through this column. Yesterday, I had to travel from Baisakhi in Salt Lake to Ultadanga. I was going towards the Bus stop, when I was suddenly stopped by a woman. She was asking me to donate money for Lord Shiva's puja. I refused to give her any, when she suddenly opened a wooden box which had a snake in it. The more I was showing reluctance to give money, the more was she bringing the box of snake closer to me. Soon I was surrounded by 3/4 other women who were also carrying small wooden boxes having snake them. They did not let me go untill I gave them a hundred rupee note.I am very afraid of snakes. I am feeling extremely bad to have been robbed in this way. Since I was in a hurry, I could not do anything. Although it makes no sense to go to the police station for recovering 100 rupees, as it would involve a lot of hassle, but still I would request Kolkata police to take action against such type of women, who can be seen very frequently on the streets of Salt Lake, Kolkata.

i am a defence personal and residing on my colliges house at tollygunge as my colliges is posted at other place so he told me to reside at their house that is at ground floor. My problem is from ist and second floor they are washing thier corridor/balcony and the dirty water falling to my balcony and when ever i walk out of my house that water falls on me. I asked many times to stop this but they are not agee on that. same thing i told to my friend who is away frm kolkata. he is unable to come now due to service excigencies . it is very difficut to survive in this condition.
please advice me. OR is there any provision/rules to stop this type of harashments.

Subject: Deficiency in service by negligence in not registering my car, wrongly
registering it on someone else’s name.
This is regarding the mistake done by your dealer: Concord Hyundai, NH-6,
Manashadanga, Jubilee Math, Via Bankra, Howrah-711403, West Bengal from whom I bought my car. My car been registered by this said dealer who mismanaged and made me undergo a lot of trouble in regards to my registration process which has not been done till date.
I bought a car, a Hyundai EON ERA+ from your Concord Hyundai, Howrah on 17th June
2012 bearing the Chasis No: MALA251ALCM057032 and an Engine No:
G3HACM046667.I paid an amount of Rs. 3, 50, 000 for buying this car.
To my extreme distress, the registration of my car has not been done till now by the said
dealer who completely goofed up the entire process of my car registration. (One Mr.
Anirbon Ghose([protected]) was working with the registration issues of my car). I took
my car insurance from Bharti AXA General Insurance Co.Ltd. However, I have not
received my RC book from the dealer and when I received the insurance documents
from Bharti AXA, I was shocked to find out that the car details which the insurance
company has (My chassis No: MALA251ALCM057032, Engine no- G3HACM046667)
are totally different from the car details that the dealer has wrongly in his records(My
chassis no-MALA251ALCM07681D, Engine no: G3HACM063982).
Clearly, since the car details existing in the insurance company’s records did not match
with the car details given by the dealer, my entire process of registration got held up till
date. I found out that in your company’s records, my car has got registered with some
other owner’s name because of the blunder committed by your dealer by wrongly
registering my car with someone else’s name(one Mr. Raja Das, Ph:[protected]).
Unfortunately, the Bank from where I have taken the loan for the purchase of this car
has been equally irresponsible and has not verified the documents thoroughly before
approving the payment to the dealer.
However, the reckless dealer is responsible for all this chaos and I am extremely
shocked and disappointed with all this. Your company dealer too is very apathetic in his
approach towards the whole issue and is not taking any responsibility on this regard
even after 5 months of purchasing the car and I am still making rounds to his office.

Hey, I have been cheated by the same guy whose name is Amarpreet Singh and email address is [protected]@yahoo.in. He posted an add on Ebay about iphone 5 and told me to contact on his email address and said that he has a safe process other than ebay to make the transaction for the phone.
The mobile number used by him is - [protected]. He told me to deposit the half the money in the following account.

But since I saw this forum, I know I have been cheated.

Ladies feel unsafe while passing by Ratan Babu Road. Glasses and Bottles are everywhere. And now a days, they even challenge Para Residents. Drunkards frequently indulge into fights with the para residents, as they lose control over their body and mind after they are drunk. Continuous fowl words and abuses that these drunkards remarks on the road are making the residents near the road lose their self-control as well. Few residents are planning to vacate their premises, to get some mental peace. After a hectic day in school or office, the kids and senior neighbors and myself, wish we could have some peace and relaxation. Ladies are conscious to face the locality outside their door, because of the drunkards who don't think twice before passing a fowl comment, or to make a body contact intentionally with them, trying to hit their private part and get amusement out of it. I understand after a hectic day of laborious work like rickshaw pulling or load shifting, they want some relaxation, but their relaxation because of this country bar is making our survival difficult on a day to day basis.
A remarkable revolution in the city has given me the courage and hope that our issue will be answered and resolved. After witnessing the development in different sections, initiative like Beti Bachao, Kanyashree Dibas for privileges to girls, Clean Kolkata- an attempt to root and boost our culture, I request you to help our small area with a fix so that life becomes as beautiful and democratic, as it was before the Liquor shop existed. We are very happy to use better and developed roads because of our honorable government, but the drunkards are hindering our regular life. Ratan Babu Road is known for Udyan Bati where our beloved RamKrishna Paramhansa has taken his last breath, but gradually it is being known for these drunkards as an unsafe place to visit.
Me and a long list of people who have encourage me to mail you the letter, are looking forward a helping hand, to realize once again that we live in a democratic and republic country.

Cheaters doing in favour of Reliance Life Insurance Company
This is to inform you that one call from mobile no [protected] naming Mr. Abhishek Roy, a staff of reliance life insurance company was received on 10.10.2015 wanting to know whether any loan require to me or not. i was informed him that i have taken from icici bank personnel loan just 1 month ago for Rs. 6 Lac with the EMI of Rs. 14142/- pm for 5 years. He convinced me to accept another loan of Rs. 8 Lacs with EMI of Rs. 13800/- pm from Reliance Life Insurance subject to the condition that one insurance of Rs. 80000/- to be paid immediately and the loan to be disbursed to your account within 10 days. as per his talking, i agreed and after 1 day he sent his representative namely Mr. Ashok Roy (mobile No [protected]) collected the cheque and got signed the document from myself. After collecting cheque, Mr. Abhishek Roy from his mobile no [protected] informed me to tell lie as directed by him to IRDA verification callings. he informed me that he is top level officer of reliance life insurance company at salt lake college more and he has the right to grant internal loan based on reliance life insurance policy bond not informing to third party and he is entitled only a commission from RLIC. So that, i have replied lie details to IRDA verification and finally the policy generated by him. on receipt of policy on dated 31.10.2015, Mr Abhishek has sent another person bearing contact no [protected] to collect original policy bond and Rs. 11600/-in cash as 1% processing fees of 8 Lac loan being Rs. 8000/- and Rs. 3600/- for medical settlement. i have also given to him to get the loan on urgent basis since my building construction work is going on. Upto 10.11.2015 when i am not getting the loan amount in my account, i am telling him to cancel my policy to get the amount return back on urgent requirement assuming that the possibility of loan does not existing. Later that he is not picking up my calls and avoiding me. Finally i have cancelled the policy from Patna Reliance Life Insurance Company office into free look period stating the reason and with non-submitting of original bond paper.
I thank RCIL for releasing Rs. 73208.53 in my account in the first part and Rs. 6791.47 in the 2nd part on 08.12.2015 after online complaining on 27.11.2015 and sending the recording calls to them on 04.12.2015 against full premium given for Rs. 80, 000/- rejecting Rs. 11600/-, which is provided in cash to them.
On 10.10.2015one call received from [protected] at 12.54 PM in the name of Mr. Sandip Roy stating that the loan of Rs. 8 Lac from reliance capital have been sanctioned in my favour. To get the loan in my account, i have to submit Rs. 24000/- in their senior accountant's A/c No.[protected] in ICICI Bank in the name of Mr. Sushil Kumar Jena within 3 PM to credit the loan amount fully to my account.
Afterthat, on 12.12.2015, RCIL replied me to take assistance from my local police Station for cash mis-appropriation of Rs. 11600/-.
All the related activities are being performed in favour of Reliance Life Insurance Company and Reliance Capital Company.
So, in this context, you are requested to lodge a FIR to get a proper investigation from your end, so that, this type of fraud-ness /corruption may not be happened in society performing by the frauders / cheaters of caller of mobile No. [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected] in the group of Mr. Abhishek Roy & cheater’s Saving Bank A/c No.[protected] in ICICI Bank in the name of Mr. Sushil Kumar Jena and to take necessary action against them to return back cash payment of Rs. 11600/- at earliest.

There is a Sri Hanuman Temple at Narkeldanga main Road (opposite Lake District Apartment). The area is called Kadapara. Every evening, particularly, Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday, full blast loud spaeker si switched on at this temple and it continues till midnight. Various complaints have been made at Phoolbagan Police Station over phone but no action as yet. Even e mails sent to the Police Commissioner did not result in any action....
