I want my car
I booked i20 June 20th and paid half amount and today is the delivery date I took a personal loan and went to Anna nagar branch and asked manager (SASI KUMAR) where is the car, he said the car is stolen please wait 3 or 6 month but the car parked inside of the building only, and I said I'm going to raise a compliant, he said do whatever you want. I waited full day infront of the office. Again I ask very politely to the manager pls give the car I took a personal loan, he said that's non of my business car is not here I can't do anything. Worst and very rude behaviour. I want my car if they don't who gonna pay my loan interest???

Fog in headlights

My new i20 car TN 12 AL 2589 gets fogged on the driver side headlight. I raised this issue during the car service at Kun Hyundai Avadi. The service advisor (Sathish) accepted that it is an issue and told that they will get the issue resolved. After having the car for a week at the service centre, he told me that the problem is resolved and to keep the headlights on for an hour, if the headlight gets fogged again, which is ridiculous.
The fog completely blinds my view during night travel and I'm unable to drive the car more than 50kmph. When asked why just one headlight gets fogged they ask me to adjust with what I have.

Misinformation by KUN Hyundai Ambattur
My car (VIN : MALA851CMEM128186 & TN02BA1001) was picked up for general service on 24 March 2021 at 9.30 am and should have reached the KUN Hyundai Ambattur ### by 10.30 am. I was committed that the car will be returned by evening. At 5.30 pm, the SA informed the work has been done and the cleaning will be completed in another 30 minutes. However, the car was not delivered on the same day as committed. But in the Hyundai Care app it's mentioned as 'Vehicle was delivered'. Why was I given the wrong commitment? Why misinform that the vehicle was delivered while the car was not returned until 25 March? If the car was delivered as mentioned in the Hyundai Care app, to whom it was delivered?
Any part missing or replaced without my knowledge and permission and any damage done to the vehicle in the period it was not delivered to me, KUN Hyundai ### will be solely responsible and accountable

Poor Service

Hi there,
I had serviced my car (i20 Sportz) recently in Ambattur Service Center.
I wanted to let you know that i'm not happy at all with the Service provided this time around.
After the Service i experienced lot of issues with my car.
The door lock is not functioning, AC cooling is not there and even wheel alignment wasn't done.
Even to take delivery I had to follow up with the Service engineer and the delivery was delayed by a day.
Also the previous time when i had serviced my car i had to pay extra (Rs 1500) which the executive said it will be discounted in the next service, but even this wasn't done.
I'm really upset with the service and the money paid for the service was not worth it.

Not giving the delivery of the Vehicle as promised

I have booked creta vehicle on 10/12/2020 by paying Rs 21000 as per kun hyundai Ambattur sales executive instructions . After several remainders they are not delivering the vehicle.im fed up with their approach.

Dear team,
The vehicle no. Tn-10-ar-9345 (Elantra) was given for service on 17.09.2018 and taken delivery on 18.09.2018 evening through a driver mr. Surya of kun hyundai, ambattur, chennai. On checking the vehicle by us at our hotel premises, we found that the rear seat cover was toned by somebody, when asked the driver mr. Surya, he said that to contact mr. He promised us to replace the seat cover immediately, but it was not attended by them sofar and it was escalated to the higher authorities & one mr. Gajendran, service manager for the same. We request you to kindly take necessary action against the complaint and do the needful without any delay.

poor customer handling & response time

I have bought creta from kun hyundai purasawalkam & it been delivered last week. The executive response was very poor after the final payment. I have to do multiple follow-up after making the payment & submitting all the documents. Every time i called the executive the response is not satisfactory & the response time is really bad.
And post delivery is the response is really pathetic. I already have 2 cars one from honda & other from mahindra the customer service response is way far better than hyundai. After experiencing the service response i felt that my decision of going for hyundai is not the right choice.
There was delayed, the vehicle was delivered without the number plate. The number plate was fixed after multiple follow-up. Now when i am following up for the temporary rc copy initially they said it will be take 1 -2 working days to get it delivered. Now its been 2 working days & there is no details shared by the executive. When follow-up he said he would need additional 2 days.
Not only this when is vehicle is delivered, the executive has shamelessly asked for money for the driver to get back home. We have to give him rs. 500. My question - is hyundai not paying these driver money for delivering the vehicle. It sound strange.

Hi I have given for car service at kun hyndai with all the issues in details and called more than 5 times to tell about the coolant leaking issue. They said they will check and finally when the car came after service, the issue was still there. Now when i resent for service related issues, they are again charging around Rs.3000 and finding more faults now in the car. Is this the way the name of a big brand being spoiled. I could have left outside but beliving the brand i left but this is the issue

cOMBINATION SWITCH QUALITY ISSUE

I own a Hyundai Santro car. Registration No: KL 35 A 8571. I m facing Headlight not working issue in my vehicle. Actaully the issue with the combination switch which located in steering bar. 4 times I reported the same issue in Hyundai service center(Popular Hyundai, Vyttila-Palarivattom bypass). First time they cleaned the unit and three times they replaced the combination switct unit in warrenty peroide.. Same issue is repeating after every 2~3 months.. One month back only it was rtepaired by popular hyndai and now issue reproduced. I need a permanent solution for resolve the issue at the earliest .
My friends also using same vehicle, they also faced same issue,it was repaired in warrenty. but the quality of this part is not good, you can check the same in your records (KL07BM1221-James,KL39C9032-Joseph,KL07BP8536-Jefry)

Hyundai — quality issue
hi am vidyalaskhmi bought a car from hyundai .. letter H from hundai logo fell from back of the car.. when i asked them to replace it which will cost them just Rs.400 they were not ready to do it.. i really felt bad about their service..please do the needful

NIMBUS HYUNDI GZB- ILLEGAL CHARGES AGAINST SERVICE & MISS HADLING OF VEHICLE PARTS

I’ve Hyundai santro Xing Reg.no- UP-14AM-0737, VIN-MALAA51HR7M172414, ENGINE NO-G4HG7M213512, purchase date 19.09.2007. My vehicle total run 46592 km only.
Saturaday( 27th March) I’d faced problem with vehicle that at the speed of 70 km per hours suddenly vehicle engine stopped functioning & that time vehicle break also was not functioning. I’d stopped vehicle through hand break. I was on the way of Meerut –Delhi highway at nearby Ghaziabad & than called to Hyundai on road service. They’d responded to me after more than 3 hours through Nimbus Hyundai Meerut road Ghaziabad. They told me that vehicle having a problem of engine sensor & it’ll be rectify in workshop. They’d not provide any help me for vehicle breakdown recovery, highway to workshop, when I’d reached there they’d not responded any emergency case. They treated vehicle as a routine service vehicles. After spend three hours at workshop they told me that vehicle having a problem in engine sensor than after sometimes they told me that vehicle having a problem in crank & crank bolt not opening after trying to open bolt two hours, so they’d braked crank & it’ll be replace and total estimated bill will be charged near Rs 20000/- It’s having a cost of crank, sensor, seal & labor charges etc.
They never clear me till now that if crank bolt was not opening why they’d braked crank without my approval & why I’ll pay for this Rs 20000/-. It was mistake of workshop or company manufacturing that crank bolt was not opening.
Than IInd problem faced again:-
I’d recd my vehicle from Nimbus Hyundai gzb as on dated 30th March after crank, sensor change and routine service & I'd paid total amount 17000/-.
That time I’d remind to customer care Mgr Mr. Prakash that my vehicle clutch is very hard after work done by you they told me that It’s due to work done in engine & it’ll be normal within two or three days but after running of vehicle one week position was same. From Next day I was on the way I’d faced new problem in engine that at the time of gear change vehicle giving low pick up & missing in engine and high vibration in gear 4 & 5. Problem was intimate to Mr. Prashant at same day. They told me that Please come with vehicle we’ll check & rectify same.
I’d handover vehicle at gzb service centre for rectification & same setting done within 15 Minutes but in evening same problem faced again.
As on 17th April, I’d again handover my vehicle for rectification of problem but today they told me that vehicle required servicing of clutch plate & total estimate will be 5000/-. Attitude of Mr. Prakash was totally wrong with me & they told me that you’d done my complaint in Hyundai customer care against crank problem and you’ll face continue problem in rectification of engine problem.
I can not understand that at the time of crank & sensor change they’d not done this work and never told me that vehicle required clutch work . when they’d done engine work & I’d already logged complaint against clutch problem and vehicle already carry by him three days for repairing & checked vehicle during the period crank& service done?
Now question is that why I’ll pay for this work when Nimbus already received payment of 17000/- against engine& service work. I’m very busy person and I can’t run with vehicle again & again at service centers.
As per my knowledge Hyundai is No 1 in customer care but it’s shown how they’re maintaining customer care satisfactions.
Till now no rectification recd from hyundai customer care or Service centre-Nimbus Hyundai.

I'm newly buyed grand I10nios Nov13th and My car no:TN12AL 1062 .Nov 22 nd only number fixed and Nov24 I traveling friend marriage while returns I found car number plate missing I asked new number plate in show room they asking Police FIR copy but police not taken the complaint and they said it show room fault with in three how it will miss and they not properly fixed kindly resolve the issue

Car number plate missing I buyer newly grand I10 nios Nov13 and my car number :TN12AL1062 Nov 24 th I travel my friend marriage and return I found my car number plate missing so I complaint shoe room they said need Police FIR copy but police not given FIR so kindly resolve the issue

RATTLING CAR AFTER 1st SERVICE
My i10 Hyundai had gone for its 1500 km first service. A door came back rattling, my pioneer speakers were removed and not replaced correctly, screws were missing ..... I know the labourers working in the service stations cannot afford new cars, but for goodness sakes do not take your social economic class frustration on my car!!!! I am waiting for the next service to take the pants of the guys and girls who answers the telephone!! What KUN-t Hyundai - you guys don't know anything about cars, customer service and trust. A bunch of money-making crooks and un-professional tarts!!! Please take care of cars as these are bought with hard-earned money and some have the privilege to buy cars!! Respect that!! YOU KUN-t workers!!!!!!

What else you can expect from KUN... I waited 2 hours in KUN service station after very tough serach on there location... No surprise no one came to attend me...
I think they are planning to close the business.. Or workers are not paid well so they don't work.
Hyundai.. If you want to save your brand name... Cancel the agreement with Kun.

Yesterday i have given my car (i20 active) for 1st servicing. They have handed over the vehicle to me at 8:00pm.
Today morning i have found a crack on main glass, immediately i have called KUN service provider and informed him.
They have told me that it will be claimed under warranty but process willl take two to three days.
Iam at KUN ambattur now. Getting service from KUN is a SIN.
Yesterday i have given my car (i20 active) for 1st servicing. They have handed over the vehicle to me at 8:00pm.

exorbitant bill/repair work carried on without customer approval/consent
Dear Sir,
This is to bring to your notice the issue that I am facing with Hyundai dealer – Kun Auto Co at Anna Salai, Chennai.
My car met with an accident 9th Aug 08 and subsequently I visited the above said dealer for my vehicles repair work on 11th Aug morning. Based on evaluation of the work and considering the long weekend I was promised that my car would be delivered to me on 19th Aug EOD.
Since my car was covered under comprehensive insurance coverage the dealer said (Mr. Ramachandran – Body shop in charge) they will take up the claim related formalities with the insurance company's surveyor the same day. I was initially told that based on the damages/depreciation calculation I would be asked to pay Maximum of Rs5000/- as rest all would be borne by the insurance. I also made it a point that beyond Rs5000/- I would not pay anything more.
We kept following with the dealer on a daily basis on the status of work and approvals from Insurance etc for which we were given positive responses.
On 18th Aug 08 when we checked the status the point of contact Mr. Ramachandran was on sick leave and now we had a new contact Mr. Guna. When asked to him on the costing that we had to pay the next day he said they are yet to ascertain the exact cost but informed that we might have to pay Rs10, 000/- (a sudden double in amt than what was promised) when we protested and asked for the reason he said only mandatory items that are required have been replaced. This was our first shock.
On 19th Aug 08, when we called Mr. Guna, who informed that the car would be ready only the next day as the estimate would be sent to insurance for approval that evening. When we demanded the reason for delay he agreed to deliver the same day evening.
We received a call at 3PM from the dealer to inform that the total repair charge is Rs36, 000/- out of which we had to pay Rs14000/- while rest would be borne by the insurance (this was the second shock).
We protested back and said we will not take delivery of the car unless the issue was sorted with insurance and them as they never took our approval or consent to do the work up to this cost limit.
But since we needed the car urgently I had to pay the difference and took delivery of the car 0n 21st Aug.
The point I am making here is - Exorbidant bills are raised on customers by un-necessarily replacing spares that could better be repaired and fixed on vehicles that come to the dealer with insurance claims.
Please respond to my issue as soon as possible and advice me on the solution. Should I file a legal suit for my refund and also for the compensation for the mental agony and loss of time & energy I suffered due to whole episode.

Engineer — Insurance Charges without approval

Myself, Anil Chiniwal is receiving dues statement from SBI cards.
No single payment is due from my side. But SBI is cahrging as activation of medical policy from Royal sundaram Rs.2924, without my approval. And also they have renewed my card without my approval & they charged for nenewal also, for which they had told that card is life time free. Now they startetd harrasing me by calling and asking for the dues charges against the card (this includes the late payment fee and card activation fee etc...). In sept 07 they sent a person to collect the amount by saying that only Rs200 is due amount..
In order to get rid of this pain of SBI Credit card i settled the amount Rs.200, on the SBI stamped recipt he has written that i have NO DUES with the credit card, but again the recovery cell calling me and asking for the payments.

2.However, it is with great anguish and disgust that we have to write to you again that the work done by your Service Centre was shoddy and temporary and that very Veh AC has again gone faulty on 08 Aug, 08 within a period of 45 days only. It depicts poor workmanship and supervision by the workers as well as Control Staff.
3.May we request for requisite corrective action to repair our veh AC on priority please.

The local i.e Hyundai Customer care office for southern region located at Chennai is hand in glove to these activities. may be the staff's get some benefits from the different dealers.
I comment this because when the issue was taken to these people who are suppose to help the customers by coordinating with the dealers I could observe a different attitude and neglicence in taking up the complain and doing a follow up.

I fully agree with you I left my car for servicing last week on 2nd december 2008 to the same kun auto anna salai, it was a regular service but they took 5 days for the repair, as I am a busy practitioner I asked them to send a driver to pick up and drop my car back, when my car came back from service there were so many scratches and bums in my car I was shocked to see my car in a pathetic state, so I called them and sent the car back they kept the car for anther two days and did nothing when it came back.I was so shocked to see the same again but I had to tame down as I need my car back and also I don't know what else will happen if I were to give back.I am very upset now will all the damage to my car

This was at the same Anna Salai branch and the complaint is now with the headquartes of KUN at Ambattur.
I have made it very clear with the KUN folks, it time to act and compensate lest i would take it to the consumer court.

This is the worst service center in Chennai..as far as i concerned.Dont try for this service center in worst scenario also...
Kun hyundai, ambattur service center is really not good...I had given my accent for service ...with two complaints...but niether was attended and I was charged full...even their drivers mishandeled vehicle in theer premises and my vehicle got new scratches...overall not a good station to take your vehicle...
I fully agree with you. I had to visit several times KUN Hyundai Service Centre - Ambatur for general service or some small repair works. Every time, after delivery some damages/scratches/dents etc were observed. Pointing out on these issues to them yelded no result. Buut I do not know which of the Hyundai service centre in Chennai provides better service. This is a authorised servece centre of Hyundai make cars. I also do not understand why the company (Hyundai India Ltd) does not have any control on this service centre?
I gave my Hyundai Santro for service at the Kun Kottivakkam, My car was ok and had no shock problems, These guys suggested that I change my Front shocks as they are bad, I told them am ok with that and asked them to change only a few other things, After delivery I see that I have a bumpy ride now, My front shocks are bad...Probably they have screwed it up just to make more money outta me

it is not possible for any stone to come to the heat exchanger side and take a 90 degree turn to damage it unless it is a magic stone.
I reasoned out that the cleaning boys put the water hose nozzle and damaged it and if not renewed at their cost I would approach consumer court (even the fins in adjoining areas were all bent badly)
Next day, my car was ready with a new condenser.
Iam an engineer by profession. so, i was able to counter their defences.
I wonder, how many got cheated by these service centers?

iam late to come across these things, already i have sent my vehicle to dsc hyundai where i have come across same type of looting.i left my car for replacement of drive shaft on the right side which they said would cost me 17-18000/- rs.now my bill is 25000/- & they say i have to replace the left one also which is going to cost another 25/-.if not replaced the right side shaft will be worn out in short period for which they cannot be responsible.what is the solution for these kind of day light roberries.Ameen.
Absolutely agree. I have an accent CRDi which I maintain very well. Last 2-3 years I have been maintaining with KUN Hyundai. It is easier for me to leave the car there (annasalai) since it is closer to my office. the car always comes back with an 8000 bucks maintenance bill which are just regular replacements of filters and oil and maybe an occasional wiper blades of sorts. But when the car comes back, in a week's time it would develop problems. And it would be a nice fat bill. Drive shaft seems to be their favourite item!! I changed them at 22500 for the left one. And now right one is gone. Each one is soon after a routine service. Just a coincidence I guess!! Phew! This time I also felt one of my front discs are not working. They said the front shocks r gone and I need to replace all four shocks and then they see if the suspension has any problem. Wow! I checked with a local mechanic - there was nothing wrong with the shocks. It was the right side brake disc which was not locking properly. What a customer can figure out they couldn't. Or they were planning to rip me off more money. Plus a couple of times, when I got the car back there were like umpteen number of scratches and they threw their hands up in air saying we can't help. And for a total paint job they quoted 74K. I guess they feel we all live in a different planet! And the last one for which I do not have evidence - my pioneer speakers went conked when I took it from service. "Sir, it was like that only when you gave the car - morever we can't even play the system when you have removed the stereo head" was the response. I felt they had changed my oval speakers with ones which are in bad shape from another car.
Anyhow. It is too late for me to now cry about all this. I have decided not to give at KUN anyway from now on. I would also tell this to all my friends. However, all service stations of Hyundai seems to be almost the same. Is Hyundai Motors listening? Or should we start buying the good old Suzuki which doesn't rip us like this? where should we all give our hundai cars for a service ? Company authorised service centres are our holes. Neither we cannot trust local mechanics. Moreover OEM's has to be availed only from Service centres, because duplicate spares are more in vogue in GP Road, chennai.as well as in other parts of the city.

Kun Hyndai service staff are so unprofessional. I went there for repairs last year to get my car repaired. While I gave it for servicing and talking to the service manager, I saw a mechanic using a thin iron wire/rod to open the window as he forgot the key inside. I should have taken a video of it but forgot. I reported this to the service manager who promised that he'll ensure it is fixed properly. But ever after that, whenever the window is lowered and raised I get a sqeaky noise.

My car has got a Noice at front area, where i was not knowing from where the noice is coming,
for this reason i have given the car to Kun, Initially the service advisor have tested on drive and informed that there is a problem in suspension area and confirmed there is NO PROBLEM AT STEERING COLUMN.
But after 3 days the service advisor have called me in phone and informed that Suspension is good and noice is because of Steering column. And he had informed and advised me to change the Steering column. As i am a lay man and not aware of where the noice is coming i informed the advisor to change the steering column.
When i have received the Car on 15/11/2012 and driven yesterday the NOICE STILL CONTINUES AT THE SAME PLACE.
I dont know why the hell Steering column have been changed and i have been charged more than 6000 Rupees for No reason.
Moreover i have asked to adjust the Radiator which have been misplaced from the bracket, WHICH HAVE ALSO NOT BEEN DONE.
UNDER BODY CLEANING have not been done...

hyundai i 20 — repair delays
i had given my car i20 to amit motors,distt kullu which is authorised hyndai service centre two months ago. the car is still not repaired for want of electrical fuse box which is not a very uncommon spare part. i want compensation for this unusual delay inspite of repeated visits, tele calls and emails. Fully agree. This thirsty for money. They would go on adding service which are not warranted at all and with all those wrong advises to raise bills. This is sheer cheating.
I have been associated with KUN Hyundai, Ambattur Indusrial Estate for more than 8 years. For my first car, generally there was no problem with KUN Hyundai's service; but during the past two services of my second Santro Xing car, I got bad service from them. Each service bill at an interval of 6 months cost around Rs.9, 000/- Few days after service, the car started to create troubles. For which, I had to pay another bill. I had to waste my time, energy & money.
Now they have appointed inexperienced people. The old experienced guys are OK.

After the flood at my area on 1st December-2015, my car I-10 got affected. Water entered up-to / below the bottom seat cover. As an abundant precaution I did sent the car by towing truck to Hyundai authorised centre at Ambathur, M/s Kun Hyundai Limited on 17th December-2015. Service centre gave me ack saying Flood-B(Water up to seat level) and assured the vehicle would be made ready within five working days once insurance inspection would be over.
On follow up, the centre confirmed that Insurance was over on 28th December, since then i have been follow up regularly. At one stage the reply was that under chasing wiring hardness to be replaced and order had been placed.The service engineer confirmed that once received within five working days, the vehicle would be delivered.
The same reply I was getting it till april 2016. I visited the workshop on 19th April, and to my surprise found that my vehicle interior corroded out side paint spoiled due to scorching sun.The dash board, seat covers are fully discoloured due to scorching sun. Most of the body area started corrosion including the interior of windows panels. Battery is lifeless. I am sure the air conditioner would have gone. The mere look at the the vehicle and the way it is left unattended to it is most unfortunate and I lost hope of getting the vehicle back in usable condition in the near future or otherwise besides my expenditure on damages caused/ happened due to flood, and a huge amount may be equivalent to the cost of vehicle as of today, more so, happened due to damages caused, leaving the vehicle for more than 4 months in dum yard/ scarp yard due to body corrosion/ seat cover /dash board damage due to exposure to open sun without attending to it.
I sent an email to Kun Hyundai and Hyundai Motors India Ltd. Then Manager started talking and confirmed the wiring part would be received on un urgent basis, and repair would be completed.
Recently last week service engineer confirmed that the Battery gone out of recondition level and the Car Stereo also got damaged. I understand tow hat suspension also needs repair due to rust /corrosion. Still I have not received the vehicle.
I strongly feel M/s.Kun Hyundai having the responsibility to keep the vehicle in a protected atmosphere to contain further damage to Battery, Seat Air Conditioner, Car Stereo and Body Corrosion, till the receipt of spars from Original Equipment / Spars supplier, failed and left neglected the vehicle in the yard for rotting on the scorching sun unattended to for more than six months, the Hyundai Motors India Ltd also jointly and severally, responsible for not supplying the spars in time, resulting which my car got more on consequential damages.

Most of the body area started corrosion including the interior of windows panels. Battery is lifeless. I am sure the air conditioner would have gone. The mere look at the the vehicle and the way it is left unattended to it is most unfortunate and I lost hope of getting the vehicle back in usable condition in the near future or otherwise besides my expenditure on damages caused/ happened due to flood, and a huge amount may be equivalent to the cost of vehicle as of today, more so, happened due to damages caused, leaving the vehicle for more than 4 months in dum yard/ scarp yard due to body corrosion/ seat cover /dash board damage due to exposure to open sun without attending to it.
I sent an email to Kun Hyundai and Hyundai Motors India Ltd. Then Manager started talking and confirmed the wiring part would be received on un urgent basis, and repair would be completed.
Recently last week service engineer confirmed that the Battery gone out of recondition level and the Car Stereo also got damaged. I understand tow hat suspension also needs repair due to rust /corrosion. Still I have not received the vehicle.
I strongly feel M/s.Kun Hyundai having the responsibility to keep the vehicle in a protected atmosphere to contain further damage to Battery, Seat Air Conditioner, Car Stereo and Body Corrosion, till the receipt of spars from Original Equipment / Spars supplier, failed and left neglected the vehicle in the yard for rotting on the scorching sun unattended to for more than six months, the Hyundai Motors India Ltd also jointly and severally, responsible for not supplying the spars in time, resulting which my car got more on consequential damages.
