High house rents is a major concern. The landlords and brokers are increasing the amount without any control. Government isn't doing anything about you and we are suffering. Owners are charging 45 to 50k for a 2bhk and 65k to 1lakh+ for a 3bhk and on top of that 10 month rent as deposit and brokerage of 1 month rent. These people aren't even willing to negotiate, as a result of which middle class people are suffering.

I have rented a flat in Arvind sporcia Apartment Rachnenahalli main road March 2021 and vacated by his request 28th July 2022. I have given 80k as a security deposit. After vacate he is saying maintenance charge is 47k so could not return the money. You have used sofa, mattress which is not clean now so cleaning maintenance charge around 50k. I don't know whom to approach. Kindly help me to get my money....

Here I would like to write our very bad experience with rental house where we lived only for a month and had a huge loss of Money and peace. The first thing we lost trust by house owner after agreeing rent of 15k per month and deposit of 60k he said no other hidden charges and we transfer him the deposit, but big disappoint came after he came up with rental agreement with pre-rent for a month, apart from painting charges and 2 months’ rent...

This info is not a complaint but rather a concern, I am a software engineer currently in the wedge of shifting my house but thinking whether I should accept my landlord (10% increases in the rent as per the agreement) and continue or should I find another place.
