Refund request for online classes

Dear Sir,
I have enrolled my son "Aditya" with Lido Learning using my mobile 9958**5931 and paid total amount in advance for 12 months for total 70 classes (coding) there was cancellation policy with refund, if we discontinue. without classes completed except of only 3, portal showing continue deduction of number of classes. Currently showing total 54 left, . As my son and we are not happy with teaching and we have conveyed to discontinue her classes from immediate effect on [protected]@lidolearning.com because no another option was working. It has been almost 45 now and we are yet to get our refund.
Before my notification to discontinue the classed, after a week, no one from Institute was picking up my call and getting only one reply from Customer Care mail id "Dear Parent,
We apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced in the last few weeks. We are facing a minor setback and are working to resolve it at the earliest.
Your refund request has been accepted and we are working on to process the same at the earliest. To know about the status of your refund request please write to [protected]@lidolearning.com.
We truly value having you as a customer and hope you will accept our sincere apology for the inconvenience caused." I got phone no. of one of Management team members of Lido Learning[protected]Miss Rashi). I have requested her to intervene, but, only got reply that someone from her team will come back to us. Still no one came back to me and even no refund process is initiated by them.
I have serious complain for Lido Learning and cautioning all the parents to make sure to pay only after you have positive experience with their online classes. My personal experience is not that good. These people will call you multiple times at the time of enrolment and arrange demo classes with good tutors. After enrolling and making payment, this may not be true. Secondly, after I discontinue the classes, none of them have picked up my calls or responded my calls, which is very unprofessional approach of Lido Learning.
I hope, with this complain, I expect my refund soon and other people will not experience such bad experience...

I have purchased the course of lido Learning for my child Aakarsh in November 2021 but the service was not good then according to terms conditions of Lido learning i raised a refund request within 15 day of purchase the course was of Rs 36000/- but it has become 4 month i have not received my refund and not even service is delivered to me and my EMI are deducting continuously i am writing email no response from the email and WhatsApp number is not responding even they not call to there customer and not even a number is reachable
No one is responsible in lido Learning
Please don't buy there course otherwise you all will get scammed by lidoLearning

Hello,
I am following since long time for my refund... I wanted to take a class for a friend of mine but later he stopped answering my calls and didnt take any course. But they are not helping, they are saying that they want to talk to my friend. However, if it was all done through my account, they are asking me to contact my friend who is not answering my calls? Whatever it is, my only concern is that if I haven't taken a course, they should refund my money.

Regret to inform you that I am following up for payment of Rs. 45000/- for the classes of 8th std.
As per your terms and conditions it was supposed to receive within the 45 days from the cancellation of course.
From Sept 2021 I am following up for payment now, it is almost 6 months passed. Still it is yet to receive.
Kindly guide us in what ways it will refund and how??

I have enrolled my daughter "Mariyam" with Lido Learning and paid total amount in advance for 12 months. I cancelled the plan and now its been 4 months waiting for refund. Now there WhatsApp and phone number doesn't work.. i am planning to file FIR.

Response and refund issue
I had enrolled my son to lido learning's coding program for 1 year. The amount needed was 19000, we decided to pay it monthly basis via EMI, so the lido learning department availed my loan to zest money without my knowledge. I came to know about it, when I have requested for refund as after 2classes only my son didn't find interest in it. I have request them not to continue but they didn't respond and my money start deducting from my account without my confirmation The counsellor told me to contact him. I wanted to cancel his subscription. Even I have unenrolled online but nothing happened just got a call from Mr.Jay that he will resolve the problem ask for one day but nothing happened.Even after deduction till 5th Jan I have got any link to get into the classes from lido. Fortunately, on 5th Jan I got the link to enter in class, I have joined the class and request metro to share Mr.Jay number as he is not reverting After getting his number, i have texted him many times everyday from 5jan till date but nothing happened and every month they are regularly deducting my money and I have mailed counselor even on ther customer care ids but no revert from them. I wish after this complaint they will be able to refund my hard earned money asap and will give the resolution.

I am taking a coding class for my daughter Kavinaya Dhathri. My registered phone number is [protected], and [protected]. Previously I took 120 classes for 27k. first, I am paid 6k through google pay then a bajaj finance loan for 21k in May 2021 for the No. [protected]. This is made by Kanisk, his phone is [protected]. He tried so many times to take additional classes. But I am opposed to taking more classes. He gave me more tourcher to take classes. i am told many times to kanish because of you i am facing mental and financial problems. But he called me after 2 days and told me he is adding a few more free classes because of her performance. Instead of free classes, he processed the new loan of 36000 again with the help of Naman Arora her phone no is [protected] and another guy his no is [protected].for the no [protected]. After this I told him to cancel these classes. but they all didn't respond. Those are all blocked my number. After this happen i am tried to contact customer care through email as well whatsapp chat also i cancel this No coast EMI i am not getting any proper response from your end while chatting some body told me we are raised refund. but its not getting any details of the refund. 2 days back i.e. on 29.11.21 Naman Arora he called me and asked to give OTP to raise refund process but after receiving OTP she doing same as previous. while chatting i am asked to know the status of refund i am shocked she not yet raised refund. lido people doing play with us to make money fraudly with the name of education.

I enrolled my daughter Kavinaya Dhathri to coding class for grade 5th with 27000 rupees. while we taking we paid down payment and they process with Bajaji finserv EMI about 1910 rupees per month on May 2021. classes are not coming good always login issues. lido peoples always calling they torcher to take more additional class. when we strongly apposed to this. After they called me and told me she is performs well in class we will provide the additional free classes like that then also they he told me free class you no need to pay. his name is Kanish his phone no is [protected]. after this he process 36000 Bajaj finserv loan amount for that additional class. i warn for this to cancellation. But he did not responding after this.

Enrolled for 2 years however no class is available after 6 months
We have enrolled for 2 year online training for VII standard. We were interested for Math and Science class only however they said include English and computer its within the package so we agreed on top of that in the 1st month itself they added extra classes stating its free.
Now in 6 months they are telling your class balance is over. See 2 years commitment they have completed in 6 months. I want the class should continue for Math and Science as promised at the beginning or get refund for remaining months as sales co Ordinator Sipra[protected] promised.

My sel[censored]makant Chaturvedi and I want and agree to enrolled my child in online English classes from lido learning. They are cheating me and they make commitment to teach three year in english subject but they register only 60 classes in English and enrolled in math and science without my consent. At present I have requested so many times to unroll from math and science subjects and register in English subject but they are not responding. Very bad experiences to me from lido learning Fraud company.

Denied my refund request
THIS IS AN OFFICIAL COMPLAINT TOWARDS LIDO REPRESENTATIVE NAMED ABHISHEK ([protected])
I Paid for my son's 6 months tution in advance. Total amount was 25k. While enrolling to the course, I was given full confidence that if I do not like the tution I can request for refund at ANY TIME during those 6 months and only the amount valid for the taken classes will be deducted and rest will be refunded. After 1 month of tution I decided to cancel my enrollment and requested for the refund. But the guy ABHISHEK Who was earlier very responsive have stopped picking up my call. Customer care representative mentioned that they do not have any refund policy and only if done within 15 days of enrollment then only refund possible.
This is a clear case of fraud to get money using false and misleading promises and advertisement.
My kid name is pujit and registered phone number is [protected].

Non refund of amount even after discontinuation of services

I had enrolled my son "Sahil Nanda" with Lido Learning and paid total amount in advance for 12 months for one subject. With their initial email, there was cancellation policy with refund, if we discontinue. As my son and we did not find the learning to be very useful and we have conveyed to discontinue the classes from immediate effect on 3rd September 2021. It has been 1 month now and we are yet to get our refund as against 15 days no question asked money back policy as per the information provided by the Site and Lido executives during enrollment.
After my notification to discontinue the classed, for few days, no one from Institute was picking up my call and getting only one reply from CUSTOMER Care that some one will come back to us or matter is been escalated. I got phone no. of one of the Finance Team Heads Mr. Sivaji of Lido Learning (Mr. Rishabh Arora). I have requested him to intervene as per the recommendation of the counsellor (Mr. Rahul Vaid, a really nice person trying to help us), and he assured me that he would look into the matter. Still no one came back to me and even no refund process is initiated by them.
I have serious complain for Lido Learning and cautioning all the parents to make sure to pay only after you have positive experience with their online classes. My personal experience is not that good. These people will call you multiple times at the time of enrolment and arrange demo classes with good tutors. After enrolling and making payment, you will be of no use for them. Except for Mr. Rahul, none of them have picked up my calls or responded my calls, which is very unprofessional approach of Lido Learning.
The most annoying part is that the ### chatbot communication is dumb. Every day, some Tom, Dick or Harry would take up the communication after the bogus chatbot hands over the communication to the executive. When asking for refund, they would start enquiring about the reason of our discontinuation. I am just fed up answering them and finally heading nowhere. They are very prompt while taking money. But refund is a very difficult Task for them.
I hope, this complain will be an eye opener for the entire LIDO team including the founder Mr. Sahil Seth. Please understand the problems of parents like us and initiate the refund for me along with all the frustrated parents waiting for the same. If things are not resolved, I would have no option but to approach Consumer Court.

Refund request for my son's online classes
I was brain washed to put my son into lido online class. till the time my son joins the follow up and everything was excellent from the Lido side. i have never agreed for any kind of loan or auto depit option. But that councilor has very nicely canvased us and arranged the loan form zest money without out knowledge and concurrence. the councilor told me that you will be receiving an OTP to install the LIDO partner application to make the payments every month through that app and asked me the OTP number. only if i tell that otp only he will be able to allow the app to get install in my mobile. hence i told him the otp without knowing that that is the otp for the loan arrangement from zest money. i have submitted the refund request on Jan3rd 2021 and i have paid all the pending dues to LIDO completely. now no response from them and if i call them simply the customer care staff says that you query has been escalated. someone from our team will contact you. please help me in getting this case resolved as quick as possible as my cibile score is getting affected...
i am totally tired and exhausted of this Lido. please help me in getting this escalated to the higher officials of Lido or now to take the legal action

Same experience happened to me. I enrolled my son for online tuition for Maths and paid for next 3 months upfront on the condition that I can discontinue any time. After two weeks my son lost interest due to poor audio quality and inexperienced staff. I requested for refund.
The sales person who was behind me until I entrolled stopped answering my calls. The customer service email gives same answer everytime. Looks like they have a dishonest business model. I suggest parents not to fal in their traps.

The amount needed was 16000, we decided to pay it monthly basis via debit card, so the lido learning department availed my loan to zest money without my knowledge. I came to know about it when they asked for otp that zest money had sent. The counsellor told me to contact him if i faced any problems or wanted to cancel the classes. After few weeks my sister did not wish to continue the classes and she was not getting any interest in coding. So i wanted to cancel her subscription. So i texted, called and mailed the consellor several times. I could see him online. But he kept on ignoring me. I called the lido contact and they said that they'll call me, but they havent yet. I donot wish to pay for one more class but they are somehow avoiding to contact me and cancel the subscription.

I have enrolled my sons in Lido and have paid 1 lakh . For last 2 months they have login issue and they are not able to join the classes even after multiple escalation there is no response from lido.

I am yet another trusting parent mislead by Lido Learning.
I have my refund approved over an email since early Sep '20, tablet returned in Oct'20 but even after over 4 months gone, no refund has been effected.
Modus Operandi...
1) Sales person convinces you to just to take a trail of the online tutoring concept. All this while they assure customer they will organize trail classes (for 15 Days) and only when child finds these good/useful and parents confirm to academic counsel, Lido will consider customer opting for the service offered. Its told that in case parent/child is not satisfied, they can opt out during trial period and what ever money is remitted to Lido will be refunded promptly.
2) Interestingly, Sales person also recommends taking interest free loan for this course, even if parents can pay outright. This I am realized now had a malafide intent to disassociate Lido's of any liability arising out of fee deductions are concerned. They create separate financial interest through Financer (Zest Money) who are very prompt and religious in deduction EMIs. To my surprise I did not even receive SMS alerts for the EMI deductions.
In my case the trail class never happened and Zest Money started deducting EMIs.
3) When challenged Lido insisted that for refund to happen, customer must take 1-2 trail classes. To be fair I opted for a promoted time lot that Lido later told was not available. I opted for another slot and was told Academic counsel will call us to confirm link/details a day in advance. Instead we got an SMS only 2 hrs ahead of the actual classes. Needless to mention child could to attend same.
Another slot was assigned later but 18-20 mins into session (1st trail class) the Lido App disconnected (though the internet connectivity was perfect).
With bad user-experience I my request for refund was accepted and I was asked to return the tablet, as a final requirement for refund. It's here the nightmare begins for the trusting parents, who get into a vicious phase characterized by below unending events:
- Marketing Rep. goes incommunicado
- On writing to Lido CC, customer get templated response which is so insensitive. Msg. says "Your
complaint is being escalated..."
- On calling direct landline (no. +91 [protected]), a new CC exe. takes the call and
blatantly lies that they will organize a call back from concerned Manager (Shivam, in my case).
I had made at least 8-9 calls on during last fortnight but never got any call back.
- They approve your Refund, issue you a req. no. (mine is – 72860) and then when you follow-up
over call, they track you as a 'Refund case' in their system and 'NO ACTION' at all.
Still hopeful that someone responsible in the organization will read this and call back regarding my grievance. I am contemplating going legal way also...

i very clearly told them that i am not going for any autodepit option or any kind of loan. but they arranged a loan from zest money and got the otp from me that its the otp to allow our lido app to get installed into your mobile. but later only i came to know that its the otp for the zestmoney loan. Also the Zestmoney had never contacted me for any queries before sanctioning the loan. but now they are calling two to three times a day for the emi payment. these two guys have their own understanding and playing with the money of the comman ordinary parents like me. My Son has gone thru around 16 classes after then realized that it is not that good enough as it was during the demo classes. hence we submitted the refund request on Jan 3rd 2021... its been more than 65 days now. i also have paid the pending dues directly into Lido bank account as the lido finance person one time called and asked if you pay the pending dues the case will be closed as soon as possible. everyday when i call the customer care person says the same reply that we are processing your request. also the zestmoney collection agents are keep calling me that your cibil score will get afftected if you dont pay it on time. also they are imposing the penalty on me...
can anyone please suggest me a way how to get this case closed at LIDO. shall i go for a legal action or is there any escalation point at LIDO who really looks at our issues?

I also faced same issue. One girl called me to convinence and told fr emi. They told they will refund emi will stop but still they all are cheating. Emi is deducting no class has done. Which person I contacted in lido she is fraud

I'm also facing the same problem which u all are facing, they neither picking up my call nor giving any response to resolve my problem. my daughter has not been taught proper manner as they promised me. Before taking money I have been continuously called, text and whatsapp to enroll my daughter in lido also they ensured me that my daughter would be 90 percent more effecient from now also they promised that they would teach her from basic. At the time of admission, they confirm through mail as well as through recirding that amount will get refunded within 48 hours without asking any reasons, when ever I am sending a mail to care, lido learning, they are providing a WhatsApp number and repeatedly one reply our support team will contact you shortly,
I thought it is a way of cheating hard earned money of parents,

Hi, my concern is pretty much same, all the history above and points shared by parents moves me, but the thing is, this needs to be brought on national television and is a national news as this is fraud and cheating...
I have the same concern. Refund policy that was conveyed says no questions asked. But we were questioned too many times and are nor sure about the refund status.
I have enrolled my son and since 2 months we can’t get enrolled, all efforts to reach out the team have failed! No refund, no classes! It is obvious Scam company!
This message is to share with you all that @LidoLearning is one of the worst platform for your children. Please I would request you all to not fall into their trap.They trap you in their packages and without my child named Vimarshit, attending a single class, they rewarded my child and promoted him to super batche refering that my child had a remarkable journey with them. And when you request them for a refund they have the worst management. The staff is too rude to have a conversation. Earlier they told that the refund will be processed in 4-5 days then they straight away delayed it to 45 days. Now its been 2 months and i have yet not received any refund. When being called, either they avoid to talk and pass on calls or they say finance team will look onto it. Payback the refund or else I have to take a legal action against you. I have already informed about this case to one of my admistrative officer. I have all the details and recordings saved with me. Process the refund as soon as possible.

I have also faced similar problem with lido learning.. Sales guy convinced me to take lido classes saying I can cancel the subscription if I dont like. It is been 3 months since I cancelled and still my EMI is going on.
Getting same issue, complained Bajaj finserv and keep contacting Lido but no one can respond. Almost 3 months keep detect my emi's.
Same thing happen to me also. Lido learning are cheater.They make money not by teaching but by cheating
