Mixing of Oil & Coolant in the Engine
I purchased a Wagon R on 16th December 2005. Regn No. KA03 ME 7492. Everything was fine till late January 2010. The car suddenly was getting overheated and we took it to our regular service centre M/s. Green Cars in Bangalore on 20th March 2010. They detected that there was mixing of Coolant with oil inside the engine. Though we were not very comfortable with this issue we got the vehicle repaired. The Green Cars people confirmed that they had checked everything and replace the Engine head gasket. The cost was around Rs. 8000/-. Things were going fine only till the car crossed another 700 kms. The car developed problem again and we rushed to Green Cars. This time we were told that it was a major problem and 2 litres of Engine oil had mixed with the coolant. When we requested for talking to some senior official in Maruti we were given the phone number of Mr. Kannan (Regional Service Manager - Karnataka). My Husband spoke to him and he in turn spoke to Mr. Krishnamurthy of Green Cars and then told my husband that he will investigate the issue and revert back on 21st March. Since 21st afternoon my husband has been trying to reach Mr. Kannan and he has not been picking up the phone. In the mean time Green Cars have come up with an estimated cost of Rs. 39,000/- for the repairs. The first car in the family was a Maruti 800 and this came in December 2000. As per my view no car can develop an engine problem just after four years. We sincerely doubt the workmanship of Maruti as a Company and their Service Centres. Because of this incident Maruti has converted an Ardent Maruti lover to a Disappointed Wagon R Owner. May I request the Company to resolve this issue free of cost as an Engine Problem just on completion of four years could be only due to a Manufacuting Defect as my car has been maintained in a very good condition.

Scracthes done during body cleaning
Hi,
I gave my car Maruti wagon R or the service as it was having the gum marks on the body. It was due to the Decoration of the car in marriage. All the palces where flowers were attached by cello tapes were having gum marks. Car was given for the service specially for removing of all those marks. But during removal of those marks the service people had made scrathes on the complete body. at the time of delivery it was not informed also, by chance we noticed those marks and after complaining they agrred to remove those marks. they had tried but still we are not satisfied with service.
During service front NO plate was also broken which is also pending for the replacement. They refused to repalce it as they are not having this part in stock. Stil I am having that broken No Plate.
I having photos also.

Regarding delivery
I have booked the vechile on 22nd jan 10 in dindigul,PLA Moters. that time he was comitted for delivery with in 15 days but after lapses of 30 days they are giving any information regarding delivery.

I had similar experience. I had booked Wagon R in Sagar Automobiles, Bangalore. Paid 3.6 Laks 28-Jan-10. He promised me, to deliver the vehicle in 8-15 days. He didn't. Then I had to cancel the booking at the cost of 500 Rs from my pocket. These guys will be very polite before taking money. After that they'll neither receive your calls nor call back.
I would suggest you to wait for the K Series engine vehicle.

Non-delivery of Wagon-R after taking booking amount
I wrote this letter to the Customer care at Maruti [protected]@maruti.co.in
I planned to buy a Maruti car & zeroed on to Maruti Wagon-r (Duo) Passion Red. I enquired about the price at different outlets in Bhopal (My Car, Jeewan Motors, Satyam Motors) all gave the same price:
On road price minus- Rs.25000/- minus Rs.2000/- corporate discount.
But, My Car (Bhopal) Pvt. Ltd. (Authorised Maruti Dealer); 2, Malviya Nagar, Opp. Old Vidhan Sabha, Bhopal-03 promised to give me Teflon coating, 9 accessories as free gift.
As always happens, I thought I will buy the car from My Car Pvt Ltd & the executive came & filled up the booking form on 26-12-09 & took the post dated cheque of Rs.5000/- for 30-12-09, accordingly promised to deliver the car on the[protected].
All these days, I kept chasing him & he kept me under the dark that I am trying to arrange the car from Vidisha, Hosangabad, Indore then he started ignoring my calls, finally when he picked my phone to my surprise he informed me that the offer on the car has reduced from Rs.25000/- to Rs.18000/- & when I got angry he gave me back the cheque on[protected] to which I spoke to Mr.Sourabh Garg (Owner of My Car pvt ltd) even he declined to help.
Looking at the series of events, I am on the loosing side, due to the false commitment being made by your dealers, who befool the customers. If I were told by My Car pvt ltd in advance that they do not have Maruti Wagon-r (Duo) Passion Red then I would have bought it from Jeewan Motors or Satyam Motors, but, they choose to block my money & kept me in the dark to take up the business & only when I got infuriated, chose to return my cheque.
I have been a admirer of Maruti cars, but this event has shaken my beliefs, I urge you to look into the matter & directly deliver a Maruti Wagon-r (Duo) Passion Red from your factory & give me a reasonable discount in price for the cheating done by your dealer, before I choose to take some other course of action.

I DR UMESH PATEL BOOKED MY WAGON R VXI MODEL BRISS BLUE TO STYAM MOTORS, HOSHANGABAD ROAD, BHOPAL. My Car (Bhopal) Pvt. Ltd really doing very bad with his customer. I also brought a car from them. but when-ever i try to get service from My Car (Workshop) Pvt, each time they give excuse and take extra charge. when I try to complain with customer care manager, she talk very rudely..

Promising and then denying the schemes
Dear Sir/Ma'am,
I have booked a Maruti Wagon r through CSD to Morden Auto @ ambala cantt. on 18th of Dec 2009. Onthat date the representative promised me to deliver the car on 26th Dec 2009.
Later on 21th dec 2009 that representative said the colour (passion red) is not available so pls change the prefrence. then we have opted for the silky silver.
now on the day of delivery the people deined that we don't have any car for delivery...
Due to mass shut down in plant from 22nd Dec 2009 till 2nd Jan 2010.
And the GM of Mordern promised that we will provide you the car under the same scheme after 07 th Jan 2009...
On 8th Jan 2010 while delivery he denied with the statement that the scheme is over and I can not extend the same.
But I would like to know that If they were aware of the fact of Mass shut down than how they can promise.
And why should a customer suffer of any communication gap or miscommunication among the staff of the Maruti.
I am lossing Rs. 10000. on account of the scheme change. earlier it was 28000 now it is 18000.
Kindly intervene and provide me with the adiquate justice.

Front Left Shock very noisy and Bumpy
Maruti Customer Care Manager,
I have a long pending issue with my WagonR Reg: DL9CL 3041 since more than 8 months. The Front Left shocker is very noisy. I have also visited Maruti Service Station MSSD at C-1 Naraina, New Delhi many a times but the problem persists.
The service team does some hit and trial methods every time and after few days the problem still persists. The car was under warranty but Maruti couldn’t repair it. Now it’s in AMC and the problem still persists.
I want you guys to look into this matter, as I have visited the service station for 6 times for this issues. Please find the details below when I have visited Service Station in past year.
Problem: Left shocker very noisy, bumps on road
Please note: If the problem not rectified this time then I have too knock the Consumer court doors. Also, please increase the AMC for further 2 years, as I found this Car has got the technical issues.

Poor Response to Problems identified during Servicing.
Dear Sir,
I had taken my vehicle, Maruti Wagon R for servicing & attending to needed repairs to M/S Standard Auto Agencies, Jabalpur during August’2009.
A Job Slip cum Demanded Repair Explanation Sheet, S.No.4214 was prepared with all jobs listed and other details.
The Vehicle was delivered to me on 23.08.2009 where I found that the Central Locking System which was listed as not working in the Job slip was not attended too.
On enquiries it was learnt that due to some problem of non availability of Qualified Mechanic from M/S Nippon, the OEM of Central Locking, the job could not be attended however I was assured that since I come from Katni about 100 Kms from Jabalpur, M/S Standard Agencies shall arrange to send the mechanic to Katni and get the required repairs done and make the Central Locking operational.
On various occasions I did try to contact M/S Standard Auto for pending above said repairs on some pretax or the other was not attended.
Finally on 25th October’2009 I was informed that one Mr.Subhash, Qualified Mechanic for Central Locking shall be visiting Katni & he shall attend to the pending repairs.
Till evening I had to stay home to avail the services of Mr.Subhash who had some other engagements in the city. When contacted every time Mr.Subhash did assure that he shall make a visit to my place for attending to the Central Locking.
At 8 pm Mr.Subhash did wrung up informing me that he shall not be able to make it for want of time & he shall definitely visit on 27th Oct’2009 and attend to the fault.
Mr.Subhash on his part was trying to diagnose the problem without even having a look at it to which I objected and requested him to have a look at the machine prior to concluding. Mr. Subhash even commented that the equipment is no more on warranty to which I told him that the Central Locking is not to be operational only during the Warranty and the required repairs are to be carried out irrespective of warranty period.
This was also reported to M/S Standard Auto on 25th instant.
Even till today there is no trace of mechanic. When contacted M/S Standard Auto are not very supportive on the subject on the pretax that the Central Locking Mechanic is not their employee and hence they are helpless. They have of course again given a date of 7th or 8th of Nov’2009 when Mr.Subhash is expected to visit Katni and once at Katni he may visit my place also for the pending Central Locking repairs.
Further the Music system was also not attended to.
The state of affairs do not speak well for the after sales service

Insurance Claims
I have been a customer of maruti insurance from the day i bought my car way back in sep 2005 always renewed on time and with maruti insurance only, no claims for 3-4 years
Today I left my car for repair as met an accident on Sat where by damaged the front door of driver side and back door,panel and tail light along with dickey door. The surveyor just approved tail light and tail panel stating that i was lieing and the way he talked made me feel instead of you I should have gone to other general insurance co where my agent would have helped me out with surveyor and settled things for me rather then beliving in your so called hassle free insurance and claims procedure, I am really very much disappointed

POOR ATTENTION AGAINST COMPLAINT
SIR, I am using maruti wagonR ,i made a request to rohan motors ghaziabad (mukand nagar) for low mileage performance,they asked me for 280/- as a fee for mileage test.iagreed, and asked for pollution test before mileage test so that i could come to know the exact status of my car.They asked me the procedure about how i analysed the low mileage,after that they they denied by saying our pollution machine is not working,but on otherside the technicians were going through pollution test for other cars,my car is in warrantty perid yet and is having some simultaneous problems like,some piston voice in engine,voice of some bearing on A.C running,sound from front suspension under jerks,broken roads on very-very slow speed for which i dropped the car, but after a week day time sound was there again.i request u to take it seriously and get the job done efficiently.i am dropping the car to your rohan motors now. as per the repairing job should not be done temprarily as before,as my warrantty will expire within 2 or 3 days . thanks CAR REG. Irresponsible Attitude of an authorised dealer of maruti Kavisha motors
Dear Management Team,
This is my formal complaint / feedback on my extremely bad service experience / irresponsible attitude of KAVISHA MOTORS, BALUGANJ, AGRA (UP), when I had given my vehicle(Regn No. UP80 BH 6520, Maroon Colour Wagon R) for second Free service,
I had handed over my vehicle on 16th Aug 2009 at around 2:30 PM to KAVISHA Motors for Servicing and they asked me to pick up my vehicle at 4:30 PM same day, I had told them the problem I was facing in my vehicle like Wiper was not working, Mileage was below 10 Kmpl Though company claims that 15 Km/l in city condition and 17-18 km/l on highway, and general service like washing etc and meanwhile I went away to finish my general work in market since I am a service holder and I didn’t have time to sit hours at the workshop to get my vehicle repaired in front of my eyes which also doesn't happen. anyway, when I came back around 6:00 PM to pick my vehicle to all my shocked I found my vehicle parked outside in same condition as it was given, after inquiry from security guard I came to know that Motor was not working so they could not wash the car but what about other malfunctioning, anyway guard asked me to come tomorrow.
Next day I reached there all the way from village that is good 15 KM from the service center and I contacted Mr. Suneel namvanshi (Supervisor) and he said "kal motor kaam nahin kar rahi thi aur aaj bhi nahin kar rahi hai ...to aap parson aana" (motor was not working and even today its not working, come day after tomorrow). I asked him atleast get other things fixed and get it clean by a cloth then he insisted that they can not do it now and come day after tomorrow only then I asked him please call your manager I want to talk to him once and Mr. Sushil Kumar Bhardwaz came and asked me to wait for 2-3 minutes, and I waited there but dear mr. Bhardwaj did not turn up even for an hour later I inqquired and contacted him and he said "mai abhi doosare customers ke saath busy hoon... aur aapki to vaise bhi free service to vo to aise hi hoti hai... jao kahin baahar se wash kara lo" (I'm busy with other customer and as this is your free service so this will be like this only get it done from outside). His tone was so harassed and unprofessional that I could not take it. when I told him that I will complaint about him for his bad attitude then he said "jao compliant kar dena... mujhe koi fark nahin padta" (go and lodge a complaint, it doesn't affect me at all).
This was a highly unprofessional and irresponsible behavior shown by Kavisha motors who claims to be an authorized dealer of Maruti. I do understand that repair works of motor take time and I was ok with it. but what is the meaning of mentioning that this the free service so we will not do it. is this is the case that free services are to be treated like this then why Maruti Company is providing it, is it just for feelgood or just to delight the customers?.
I hold 3 other maruti vehicle (2 maruti 800 and one Maruti Alto) in my home only, I chose this vehicle becasue I firmly believe on quality of maruti products but these small things makes me disappointed and the belief goes away. does it make sense that I will travel 30 km (two-way) just to get wash my car which will cost me more than 150 bucks and my time.
now my sincere request to management is that Mr. Bhardwaz should apologise for his unprofessional behaviour otherwise I will take this issue to consumer court as I'm deeply hurt, and I mean it.

i lalit arora owned a wagon r lx 2001 reg no DL-2CS-1221 in my father name.today in the morning i went to ur authorised dealer in the name of magic auto LOCATED AT 68/3 NAJAFGARH ROAD, MOTI NAGAR for washing purpose only.When i handover the car to ur service advisor mr kuljit singh at that time my ac is working properly.After washing when they handover the car to me, i switch on the ac & i noticed that at that time ac is not working, i went back to workshop & show the car to the technician after checking technician said that ur ac pipe is burst.I am totaly strange, in the morning ac is working & in the evng pipe get burst how can it happen i cant understand, i think somebody has changed the pipe or whatever but i found my ac not in working condition. i am totaly disappointed & disatisfied with the answer of service advisor & managers.At the time of opening the job card he has not told me anything, .
the service advisor has not checked the car thoroughly. pls look into the matter as soon as possible

Poor response from Maruti Udyog
Hi,
I hv purchased Maruti WagonR from "Manan Autolink" Ahmedabad in the month of April, 09. Since that day I have lost my peace of mind. Response of Maruti is pathetic. Vehicle is not giving expected mileage. Though company claims that 15 Km/l in city condition and 17-18 km/l on highway, my vehicle is giving only 9-10 km/l.
Have escalated this to regional maruti office and requested them to get my vehicle checked on 7'th day of my purchase but they newer responded positively. I'm continue facing the same complain even after 4 months of purchase. Gear box is not working properly from the very first day. It is very difficult to change the gear especially reverse gear.
The interesting part is my vehicle break down on city road on 6'th day of my purchase and I waited for 2 hrs after calling the maruti service centre for break down service. No body turned up and finally I had to find a mechanic at my own to get my vehicle back in working order.
Even the contact number given on maruti's website was not correct which I highlighted to Sr. Manager level person but !!!
So after going through all my experience, my sincere advice to all of you is that if you’re thinking of buying a car, please don't go for Maruti. All the claims of Maruti for customer service are falls and better go for Hundai, GM or any other reputed brand.

Clutch Related
Hi,
I drive a Wagon R, done 120, 000 Kms. and this vehicle has given me excellent performance. However now I am facing problem of extreme vibration while i put the vehicle on first gear and leave the clutch. I guess i need to replace the clutch ? The last overhaul of clutch happened at 66000 Kms. There is also a bit of missing in the car engine during idling and have shown the same to Maruti Authorised dealer. After thorough inspection and replacing the spark plugs, testing the car with new ignitors the problem still persisted. Can u please suggest how can i get rid of these two problems ?

Bad Behaviour and Wrong Complaint Diagnosis
I am an Owner of Wagon-R and gave my car for repairs to Saya Motors. Faced some bitter experiences while dealing with Service center. DGM of the workshop misbehaved and when complained to Maruti, they told service advisor to resolve the matter.
It seems that blame was put on Service advisor who has nothing to with the complaint. He can not change attitude of his senior.
You can see the series of communication which i had with Maruti regarding this. Finally I had to write a satisfaction mail so that service advisor can get relieved from the matter.

This is to bring into your notice the Poor Service which your dealer is providing to your customers.
I am an Owner of Wagon R Reg No. DL2CP 2296 who went for 80000 Kms ( at 82000 Kms ) service at your dealer M/s Saya Automobiles with few other problem like central locking not functioning and abnormal noise coming from Engine Compartment ( From Left Side Belt Area ).
Service Advisor told me in the morning that it is coming from Alternator. I gave my consent for repair of same. In the evening when I went to collect my car, I was told that noise is from AC Compressor Bearing and it can not be repaired. Whole unit has to be replaced which cost Rs.28000. I was suggested to drive it till it is running. Even I was not interested in spending so much at this moment. I took the delivery.
Next day, a huge sound came from engine and vehicle stopped. After 5 minutes, I tried to start the vehicle. It started and I reached home. In the morning, I again visited Saya and told them the problem. Same advisor looked into it and said it is from water pump bearing.
So, three different reason for same noise.
1. Alternator
2. Compressor
3. Water Pump
Doubtful about the diagnosis capability, I thought of escalating it to GM Workshop. But managed to meet DGM Mr. Deep Chand.
Not at all good experience dealing with him.
I told him that I am from same industry, working as service engineer and I feel that its duty of workshop to diagnosis the problem at one go.
He replied " Wo to idea se bata diya tha"
You would agree that Customer do not give their vehicle to use " Idea " on vehicle.
The argument continued and finally he said " Kya Bakwaas Kar Rahe Ho aap ". ( Matter already in knowledge of Mr. Rajan, Service Engineer, MUL )
That was enough for me. I went there to get the vehicle repaired and not for insult. My fault was, I wanted to escalate the matter so that diagnosis is done in proper manner. In return I got the above statement of Mr. Deep Chand.
I decided to leave from there, but advisor came and apologize on behalf of Mr. Deep.
Just imagine, A junior apologizing on behalf of senior.
Anyway, gave the vehicle to him and collected it next day morning.
Again in evening, while crossing over a pothole, vehicle stopped and did not start on CNG ( CNG Installed from M/s Saya Only ).
Went to workshop on Sunday.
Got it rectified, and when time came for making payment I gave my debit card. The nice lady who collects payment for CNG said " Rs 150 ke liye card nahi chalega"
Sir,
Its my card, I use it for Rs 150 or Rs 15, she is nobody to decide. ( 2% of 150 is negligible but I am concerned about the Practice being adopted )
Somehow, she agreed but said 2% extra will be charged.
Now this not expected from Maruti.
You are No. 1 JDP company and your dealer still adopting this old 2% extra thing.
Retail shops, food joints, hotels, nobody charges this extra. They need to take up with their banks and negotiate for this. When other can do it, why cant your dealers.
Anyways, I made the cash payment and took the delivery.
This is the whole series of event which I wanted to share with you. Vehicle is running fine, but hope you will pass this message to your dealers to be more customer friendly ( Be it a JDP or Non JDP Customer )

I purchase wagon R, 22/05/2008 from Amar cars Pvt.Ltd., Gorwa, Vadodara, Gujarat. I have insurance of Bajaj Allianz through Amar cars.My car was damage from both side but the insurance agent told us that I can claim only one side of the damage and 50% charge I have to pay. Is that any rules, that only one side I can claim. So please inform about that rules because accident will take place so the damage will be both side not a single side, so why I not claim both side. Missing problem
Sir,
I have purchased my Maruti Wagon R LXI DUO on date 13.12.09 from Tanya Automobiles LTD. Meerut. The engnion no. of my car is 4591403 & chasis no. is 766502. Previously I have owned a Maruti Alto LXI & replased it with the Wagon R. So u can say that I am a loyal costmer of Maruti but my loyelty diminished after purchasing my new car wagon R.
Till first service the car was working ok but after second sevice when I got my car on date 04.05.09. I fill it with the petrol & the LPG gas from company authorised petrol pump & was moving on my local tour the car had started giveng missing problem on LPG gas then I shift the inginition to petrol the car was running properly. after returning from my local tour I give the car to the Service station ( RAJ SNEH AUTOMOBILES - MEERUT ) and complained about the missing problem. in the evening I got my car from the survice supervisor. he said that the LPG gas was not pure that why the car was missing we have cleare the LPG Gas tank & now the car is running fine. but when again I filled the car with the LPG gass again I have faced the same problem. As the car was missing heavilly and was not running properly, then I again go to the service station & complained about the same. The service supervisor again told me that the car will be delivered to you in the evening & in evening when I got my car the service advisor told me that the all Spark Plugs were not work properly. So we replace all the Spark Plugs & now your car is ok.
Then I take my car from him & go to my home. Next day when I was coming to office from my home again the car has started giving the same problem.
Now the problem is this when I run the car on petrol it works fine & when I shift it to LPG it starts missing & it's very tedious to drive. Now from previous Ten Days I am running it on petrol.
I have also enquired about the LPG supplied by the Petrol Pump & the result were satisfactory as some of my friends are also using the LPG gass from the same petrol pump as there is only a singal petrol pump of LPG in Meerut.
So my suggestion for Maruti is that the service stations are not providing proper service for the LPG Vechile's. Or if there is any Manufacturing/Part problem then please ractify it because people like me can be saved in future because it is very expensive to run the car on petrol that's why people are purchasing the DUO Version.

Complaint on Battery
Ratan True Value Cheated as they sold me vehicle with a Local battery fitted in my car which was detected after 15 months by a Authorised Maruti Service station in Panvel during Insurance claim.My complaint is Basically we buy Car from Maruti true Value because they Check the car thouroughly and sell off the car with high Cost as they change the parts which are Local and not good for Life of Car.But in my case this was not true they had fitted a Local Battery (Dinesh) into my car which is absolutely wrong.

Noise problem on the Car
Dear Sir,
I purchase Maruti Wagon R Car in August 2007 and since then this car has run only 17000 kms but this car is giving a different kind of noise. I had sent this car to check the problem to Vipul Motors, Mathura Road, Faridabad twice during last 2 months. First time they changed the bush of the sockers while on checking the bush were found to be OK and 2nd time they returned the car without doing any thing. The Noise problem on accellator and stearing still remains there.

Excuse for non delivery.
I have booked a Maruti WagonR LXI with full payment. After asking for 20 days delivery I went to take delivery only to find that the colour chosen by me was alloted to some other customer on "Out of Turn" basis creating great mental agony to me and my family.
I am still to wait another unexpected days for the delivery of my car.
This has ruined the reputation of Maruti by this particular dealer in BUISHI YADA, Itanagar, who ( I am told by disatisfied customer) is always involve in such dirty practice.
After this I am sure that our next family car is sure not going to be fro, m MARUTI because of the frustration and trauma caused by the unethical handling of the dealer of MARUTI.!!!

I am regret to inform you about the harassment made by your dealer named Banalari World Cars, Shillong. Few facts are furnished for your information and necessary action.
Three months back I have booked a Wagon R LXI (Petrol) vide Job quotation No. and date BWC 07/08 dated 06/03/2008 with the said dealer and as a token of assurance I have paid Rs.5000/-. But due to non clearance of papers from my employer’s part there was some delay in getting the vehicle. In the mean time I set mind for the Duo version of the same car and made a verbal request to my employer and the Sales Manager of the said Dealer. But my request was rejected by my employer as I am not entitled for Duo and the same was intimated to the dealer well in advance. Now when I am ready for the payment of the earlier booked vehicle they refused me to deliver the car showing the reason that car cannot be delivered until the Duo is sold. Even though I waited and they always made me visit the showroom for the last one and a half year, now again they are saying that the Duo is sold but I will be loosing Rs.2500/- as the same was given to the Duo customer as a discount which is not at all acceptable and is nothing but to harass me for no reason.
This is really unfortunate that they are representing a giant organization with this kind of attitude and deteriorating the reputation of the company to a great extent. Thus I request you to give this matter your immediate attention and give me a favourable solution.

Clutch problems
My name Praveen Daniel, I purchased a Wagon R (KA 04 ME 5870)from RNS motors in April 07. The Car was in Excellent condition till March 08. Now the car is giving me clutch problems at 13500 kms. When showed to Sagar Automobiles in Bangalore, they just adjusted my clutch and gave it back. I have given my car atleast three times to service the same.
I checked it up with another local machanic and found that my cluth plates is gone.
I request the authorities to please help me in fixing my clutch.
Sagar Automobiles is a good dealer, they have serviced my 800 & Wagon R, for some time, but i dont understand why are they not fixing this problem.

Poor service by Kalyani Motors
Hi
I had a very bitter experience with Kalyani Motors, car services.
Yesterday I gave my car for second Free service. Before giving it for service, vehicle was good. After this service, mileage problem, remote locking is not working. When we tried to call the same person who took the vehicle for service, no response from him. Inturn he referred for one more person like government office and finally no response from that person also.
I am fed up with their service. If nothing works out before today eveining, I would like to take this issue to Maruti Udyog, customer care centre.

I fully agree with this complaint on remote locking not working soon after the servicing. I took this seriously with Kalyani Motors within 1 week of servicing. I had a similar experience with the head light during the same servicing. Ofcourse, I got it replaced, but needed some serious complaining(not in writting).
As these accessories are not covered under warranty, I suspect some service centers try to make money on such failures.

Service Center spoil my car
I gave my new Wagon R for the first service to Qutub Automobiles. Soon after that in my 1 month old car, I started developing problems like Power Steering not working, Wheel alignment, Car shampoo vanished, Race problem, knocking problem and so on. I regisered the same with the service center and Maruti helpline months and have been following since last 4 months but there has been no resolution provided.
I want to sue both the parties as it is an authorized service center.

there is no complaint but i want to know that...my friend drive my car(wagonR) in different way like change the gear 2nd to 3rd at the speed of 60km/h and from 3rd to 4th at speed of 85km/h and he says he is right and this is the correct way. he do this two times and my car is 4 month old & ODO reading is 2450km.

I am very disheartened and disappointed by the service provided by the above mentioned dealer.I am bringing this in your notice so that anybody else do not go through the pain i am going after buying the car.
I dont have a single complaint, but a list of complaints which are as follows :
1. On 3/08/09 MR.MANOJ NIGAM (manger of T.R.SAWHNEY) called me to deliver the car. when i reached the showroom MR.NIGAM told me the keys
of cars is lost and I cant deliver the car today.After two days I will deliver
to another car to you.When I say plz. Show me that car and MR.NIGAM told me
that car is lying in BHAJANPURA stock yard our other branch and you can go
there and see the car.after that they deliver me below quality car.the details are given below.
2. The car manufacturing date is FEBRUARY 2009, but the tyre manufacturing date is AUGUST 2009.
3.I can garuntee you that the so called new car is a DEMO CAR.
4..The A/c grill is broken.
5. Car lock is tampered.
6.Seats and roof are shabby and dirty.
7.First day itself the car's alingnment was out.
8.Some trick has been done with the Mileage meter also.
9.. The showroom manager is not showing us the Delivery Invoice.He is playing with us.He does not want us to know that when the car was delivered to their showroom.
As the car's alingnment was out the very first day, we went to Badli at T.R.SAWHNEY's Workshop, the General Manager named Mr.Taneja told that the car and the tyre's manufacturing date differs, which i have mentioned above in my first point of complaint.
We have been mentally tortured and harrassed by the showroom manager named Mr.Manoj Nigam, as daily he promises us that he will negotiate out, but till date we have been fooled around.He misguided us at every step.The date given to us for the car booking was 18/07/09 but the car was delivered on 12/08/09.
Kindly, look into this matter and advise as i am helpless and i think that my money is wasted, which i have earned with so much difficulty.Please provide me with some resolution otherwise i will have to knock the door of the consumer court.

T.R.SWAHNEY .This is my very bad and worst expiernce to buy the maruti

SUBJCT: - COMPLAINT OF VEHICLE “WAGON R LXi”

Dear Sir,
I have purchased above said model of your prestigious company from your dealer “M/S Vipul Motors” Noida on 20th July 2007 at 4.30 PM.
But I am sorry to inform you that from the purchase date of this vehicle to till date I am not satisfied from the performance of this car.
After getting my car from Vipul Motors, when I was driving my car to Ghaziabad I feel that there is “Heavy Bubbling” in the left side front wheal. I made a call to the Supervisor of Vipul Motors and told my observation about this car, firstly he replied that this vehicle is new and you feel that, but when I pressed him then he told that check the air pressure in tyres.
“HAD THE VIPUL MOTORS DONE PDC BEFORE HANDING OVER THE CAR TO ME”!
I checked air pressure in tyres that was found OK.
FIRST FREE SERVICE OF MY CAR AT “ROHAN MOTORS” GREATER NOIDA
I gone to above said dealer on dated 08/08/2007 at Mileage “969” at 9.00 AM, I told under mentioned problems to Supervisor Mr. Yatish Malik, (Job Card NO: JC[protected], he assured me your problems will be checked and will be removed as per company policies.
My Complaints observations are as under:-
1. Bubbling in Front Right Side Tyre.
2. Gear Problem in 1st, 2nd & Back.
3. Skidding of car on Speed Breakers.
4. Play and Loose of Gear Lever.
5. Sound in Shockers of Front Wheels.
I got my car at 5.00 PM on same day. When I asked him what was problem then he told me that “Wheel Balancing and Alignment” was out and we had done it again, now no bubbling in your car and we had also adjust your clutch and overhauled your “Gear Box”. I had made the payment of Wheel Balancing also.
I drive my car and feel it is better then previous one.
FIRST RUNNING REPAIR SERVICE AT “ROHAN MOTORS” GREATER NOIDA
After driving 15 days I found same problem is occurring again, I contact again in Rohan Motors on phone, they told me come with your car we will check and if there is any problem we will rectified.
I again visited Rohan Motors on Dated 07/09/2007 at 9.00 AM (Job card No: JC07007510, Invoice No: BC07007494 Mileage 2541) and told my same Complaint to Supervisor Adviser Mr. Mohd Umar. Same reply as by Mr Yatish Malik.
I got my car at 5.30 PM on same day and driving of my car is better then previous one.
SECOND FREE SERVICE OF MY CAR AT “ROHAN MOTORS” GREATER NOIDA
I visited Rohan Motors on Dated 24/10/2007 at 9.00 AM (Job card No: JC07009737, Invoice No: BC07009625, Mileage 4969) and told my same above Complaint to Supervisor Adviser Mr. Mohd Umar.
I got my car at 5.30 PM on same day.
SECOND RUNNING REPAIR SERVICE AT “ROHAN MOTORS” GREATER NOIDA

I got my car at 1.00 PM on same day and I found washing was not up to mark and I told my observation to the staff of Regent.
FOURTH RUNNING REPAIR SERVICE OF MY CAR AT “REGENT AUTOLINKS (P) LTD” GHAZIABAD
After driving 20 days I found problem is occurring again, I visited REGENT AUTOLINKS (P) LTD on Dated 28/03/2008 at 10.00 AM (Job card No: JC07012571, Invoice No: BC07102898 Mileage 12727) and told my under mentioned Complaint to SA Mr Vivek Maheshwari.
1. Fuel Tank Meter is not working.
2. Clutch and gear lever check.
3. Vibration on slow speed.
4. Breaks check (Condition of breaks is like Hydraulic not Pressure)
5. Full Dry Clean.
After listen & when I pressing hard him to write my problem on job card, he shows all my problem to another staff of Regent, he told him “WHY YOU COLLECT THE VEHICLE ON RUNNING REPAIRS, AVOID THEMS”, when I asked him what are you telling then he said this is not for you. He go for test drives with Mr. Vivek and me and he drives my car so rudely and jump from speed breakers, when I object about all these then he told me that he was doing check up the car. After driving my car he told that your car is 100% OK.
He gives me car to drive and when I drive my car and I try to feel him that there is bubbling in front wheels and gear lever is too loose causing sleepy of gears and on speed breaker on slow speed first front right types crosses breaker after second front left wheel.(Time is very less). He convinced from my observations.
At 12.00 Noon I got SMS on my mobile that your car is ready and collect your car. I was surprised that all my complaints were rectified before in its minimum time to occur they e.g. Fully Dry Clean and Car washing at least 1.30 hrs jobs, Fuel Meter job at least 2 hrs. Wheel alignment & balancing at least 45 min job, Breaks adjustments at least 45 min job, in nut & shell it is 4-5 hrs jobs which they completed in 2 hours.
I reached Regent at 1.00 PM and I inspect my car, I found that no work was completed as per my complaints; fuel meter was not repaired, Car washing was not again up to mark.
I meet Customer Care manager and lodged my complaints to him. He visited with me and inspects my car and he ordered to repair my car.
As per your Service Booklet up to till date my car will go workshop only 3 times but till date my car is visited workshop for repairs 7 times and it’s ready to go workshop 8th times.
Today there is same problem again occurs.
I have purchased new car not second hand and if in each month I will visit workshop for the repair of my car then why I spent Rs. 3, 60, 000/- !!!
If you’re Dealers are not capable to satisfy your customers then please suggest me what a customer will do!!!
Please tell me what the suggestion for me is!!!
“MARUTI UDHYOG LTD” has a branded name in world and cars are soled on the brand name of Maruti not for Dealers name. If your dealers are defaming your goodwill then what is your action!!!
After 1 year warranty period of my car comes end and after warranty period no dealer will allow me to enter in their premises and if I entered then he will charge a heavy amount to repair. Then what is my option!!!

But I am sorry to inform you that from the purchase date of this vehicle to till date I am not satisfied from the performance of this car.
After getting my car from Vipul Motors, when I was driving my car to Ghaziabad I feel that there is “Heavy Bubbling” in the left side front wheal. I made a call to the Supervisor of Vipul Motors and told my observation about this car, firstly he replied that this vehicle is new and you feel that, but when I pressed him then he told that check the air pressure in tyres.
“HAD THE VIPUL MOTORS DONE PDC BEFORE HANDING OVER THE CAR TO ME”!
I checked air pressure in tyres that was found OK.
FIRST FREE SERVICE OF MY CAR AT “ROHAN MOTORS” GREATER NOIDA
I gone to above said dealer on dated 08/08/2007 at Mileage “969” at 9.00 AM, I told under mentioned problems to Supervisor Mr. Yatish Malik, (Job Card NO: JC[protected], he assured me your problems will be checked and will be removed as per company policies.
My Complaints observations are as under:-
1. Bubbling in Front Right Side Tyre.
2. Gear Problem in 1st, 2nd & Back.
3. Skidding of car on Speed Breakers.
4. Play and Loose of Gear Lever.
5. Sound in Shockers of Front Wheels.
I got my car at 5.00 PM on same day. When I asked him what was problem then he told me that “Wheel Balancing and Alignment” was out and we had done it again, now no bubbling in your car and we had also adjust your clutch and overhauled your “Gear Box”. I had made the payment of Wheel Balancing also.
I drive my car and feel it is better then previous one.

I got my car at 5.30 PM on same day and driving of my car is better then previous one.

Wagon R — same problem again & again
sir,i have a wgr car of your co. regt.no. AS23 D 4201, bought from jay bee auto agencies, laipuli tinsukia, assam. i have got this problem right after eight months of the vehicle purchsed. the front right side of the strut or the steering or might be the suspension makes lots of noise as some thing has been banged in. i got my car repaired for this at least ten times from ur dealer, but the problem is still there. two months back i got the whole system repaired by paying around 4000 rs. but again the problem has got back this time the noise is even louder. they again repaired it free of cost but it lasted for just five days, i have never gone to other mechanics. but i really feel that they dont know the exact nature of the problem, or they r making me fool. i m really tired of this. can u people halp me out, if not then also ok, but will never think of buying any maruti suzuki product next time and wont recomend to anyone.

I have purchase WagonR LXI on 10/04/2008 from DD Motors.I notice that during the start it is giving excess smoke, so i complained during the First Services on 12/5/2008, but the problem is not resolve.
Then again i complained regarding the same on 11/06/2008 & your technical person check the same & founded that there is some oil leakage on Plug 2 of engine. The engiineers have recommended to open the engine and recify the problem.But in one month's time if I am getting my engine opened then what will be the reliability of the engine in near future.
Hence will appreciate incase company replaces the engine. I will be obliged.

New Wagon R LXI purchased in Dec 2007 failed to climb on Mussoori Hill Station yesterday on 06/07 June 2009 and we had to return to Dehradun. To day on 8th June 2009, Rohan Motors Service station Dehradun has charged around Rs 7000 saying that the clutch plate was burnt. On asking for the reason of new clutch plate burning so soon even when this new car has run only about 7000 km so far, they could not give satisfactory reply. Bank - Central Bank of India, Kavisha Motors, Agra ke naam issue hua jo 28/11/08 ko Kavish Motors ke account me credit ho gaya.
Humne kavisha motors se apne amount 2601 Rs. ki demand ki to hamko ek baar nahi bar-bar koi na koi bahana banakar return kar diya jata. Aaj jab humne insurance company ke check ki detail di hai to hamse 600 Rs. Cash ki demand ki ja rahi hai. Reason Puchhne par bataya ki yeh apke though ab tak check receives na karne ki penalty hai. hamko apna paisa with interest chahiye. Agar aap hame With Interest Payment nahi Karenge to ham Consumer Court me Appeal karenge.

I have been deliverd a Wagon R in which the painting is not complete.The issue has been noticed at the time of delivery and they said they will clear it at the time of First service and till date they have not done it even after one month I purchased a new wagon R fro T R SAWHNEY moters .After running 25 KM my car stopped. Dear Sir,I have purchased Maruri WagonR Vxi on 31/01/2010, from Amitdeep motors at Allahabad. But sorry to say the coustomer dealing at showroom is worst. At the time of purchase they delighted me from their responce. But now, they are not bothering me. Complaint: Wagon R Vxi : Price changed. I want to buy WagonR vxi, Yesterday price list was given me. Today when I gone to hand over the cheque, suddenly the priced changed !!! I feel unconfrtable, how can the responsible employee of Maruti behave like this! I asked for varification of price structure but he didn't reply satisfactory. Wagon R — Manufacturing Defect
I bought a Wagon R Car LXI on 27th October, 2008 from Rana Motors, B.C Place, New Delhi.On 17th December, 2008 I was coming home and on the way the drum was broken and the rear wheel(left side) came out and the car hit the pole and fortunately i was escaped on my life.
We never expected this kind of quality of parts of Maruti Car.
You are requested to look into the matter and the car has been sent to Rana Motors workshop in Okhla.
Its a shear case of sub standard quality of parts of Maruti Cars.

I bought my car approx 4 year back. Since last 2 year I am experiencing a unique problem i.e Engine oil and Engine Coolant is getting mixed up. Because of this till date I have invested around 14000.
In the last servicing I was told by authorised service center that this is because of Manufacturing defect. Probably there is leakage in the cylindrical head because of which the coolant and engine oil is getting mixed up. The only solution to this problem is that to replace the cylindrical head.
I wrote to Maruti but they are refusing to accept that this is manufacturing defect despite being told by authorised service center.
To get rid of this problem I have to pay approx 30000 (thirty thousand rupee). A very huge money I have to pay because of manufacturing decect.
I tried to enquire about this kind of problem through the authorised service center encountered in past.
I was surprised to find that a small service center in a town like Jamshedpur has encountered more than 10 such complaints till date.
I think this is very serious problem with Maruti Wagon R.

I am facing the same problem right now (though my car is 6 years old and has run more than 100, 000 KM). The head has been 'repaired' once but the problem is still persisting. Replacing the head will involve huge costs. If anybody knows a better solution for this, please let me know.

having Brake problems, very tight in brake paddaling, sounds are coming while running, eingine also slight sounds, body sounds , fue;ll consumption is also 14 kms from purchase. complaint is not rectifyung from the last thrre months. and some manufacturing defects is there. no body is not taking proper care.
