I am writing to bring to your attention an issue I encountered during my recent travels on the Atal Setu (Mumbai Trans Harbour Link), specifically regarding a misleading exit display board.

Firstly, I want to express my appreciation for the incredible convenience and time-saving benefits that the Atal Setu has provided to commuters like myself. I had the pleasure o[censored]tilizing this remarkable infrastructure on January 16, 2024, when I travelled from CSMT to Panvel in my vehicle (MH46BA2533). The experience was truly enjoyable, and both I and my family were impressed by the efficiency and ease of travel afforded by this route.

In fact, I was so impressed by my experience that I enthusiastically recommended the Atal Setu to my colleagues in the society. Consequently, on February 11, 2024, I accompanied a friend to Colaba for a family function. Unfortunately, our journey was marred by a significant issue – a misleading exit display board.

Upon nearing our intended exit to Mumbai, we encountered a display board that led us to believe we were heading towards the free expressway. However, to our dismay, this exit actually directed us to Wadala, necessitating a U-turn to return to the correct route towards Mumbai. This misdirection not only caused us inconvenience but also dampened the excitement of my friend's family, who were experiencing the route for the first time.

I am writing to request that immediate action be taken to rectify this issue. It is imperative that clear and accurate signage be installed near the exit points, providing unambiguous instructions for travelers bound for Mumbai and Wadala. Such measures will not only prevent future incidents of confusion and frustration but will also contribute to enhancing the overall experience for commuters on the Atal Setu.

I trust that you will address this matter with the urgency and attention it deserves. I look forward to your prompt response and the implementation of necessary corrective measures.

The metro contractors are unsing the partitioned portion of the two middle lanes all along the metro stretch to illegally store misc materials, their vehicles and other materials thus causing immense hardship to commuters.

Where the pillars have been cast and the overhead slab work is several months in the future there is no need to block the middle lanes any more. All along the kurla to mulund stretch of lbs marg and all along the jvlr, this misuse is rampant and costs millions in wasted fuel and an agonising commute twice each day for the citizens.

Please urgently restore the middle two lanes to public use in order to avoid citizen anger and potential mass action as citizens are being torturd each day when mmrda is simply ignoring the suffering so far.

The skywalk bridge connecting to the metro station in Andheri east has no lights. Some had kept some roof sheets lying on the bridge and due to the darkness, I fell and fractured my arm. Please arrange lights on that bridge as it is also not safe for women.

The JVLR road constructed recently is giving nightmares to the travellers. While project was announced in 2002, govt claimed travel time fromEEH to WEH will come down to 15 mins. Instead in reality now it is more than 60 mins.

The major bottle neck is between IES school and L&T , where the road narrows down from4 lane to 2 lane. Also the condition of road is pathetic , full of pot holes. Also the level of this stretch is very low , which causes heavy water logging. Hence all this ca uses, heavy traffic jam, putting travellers at discomfort and also petroleum product is wasted. This small narrow stretch , which is badly designed , constructed and maintained , needs immediate attention.

Yesterday , which was wettest day this season for Mumbai, the travel time was more than 2 hrs.i a sure,concerned ministries, officials will appreciate urgency to attend to this problem. Appeals to Chief Minister to intervene to solve this long pending problem.

I have been travelling from work place to home and for other reasons via the s.v road......its condition is pathetic, there are so many potholes and it is half made of the pavement bricks and half cement both of which are at different levels. so it is first of all so risky to drive on a bike on the s.v.road.....second of all there are so many potholes i got a back pain. now you tell me why should i pay my tax.....when the road is not even repaired from time to time. i request the mmrda people to repair the s.v road....and level it with only cement......a road of pavement blocks feels like ur riding in village......

Main junction of EasternExpress highwayi.e. patch between Sion - Vikhroli is absolutely pathetic.Especially for persons like us who are travelling on 2 wheeler needs to pray to god for safe travelling. We are facing health issues due to such bad maintainence of roads.

MMRDA to take immediate action or else concerned government authorities should take some legal action against such vendor.

Hope to see some positive effect of this complaint.

Part of JVLR which is the bridge section over railway tracks (gandhinagar) is still not completed. The passage is really narrow which chokes the traffic extensively. This becomes horrible during peak office hours choking the entire Kanjurmarg to Powai route. The particular section is still pending 5 years n more. Extreme dealy by MMRDA to complete this.

I am regular commuter of WEH and travel from Malad to Andheri (Andheri-Kurla Road). I have observed in one last year that in sububan on Western Exp. Highway the most jammed signal is Andheri_Kurla Road signal where Metro railway project is in progress (Since Years..........). In the morning at 9/9.30 if leave my home, I reach this signal of WEH in 15 to 20 mins which is approx 10 to 12 kms. From there mu office is hardly 2 kms which is at JB Nagar. But at this signal traffic so much that it takes again 15-20 mins more to just go 2 Kms. There are two reasons to this traffic. 1st is, the road is very bad near this signal. While crossing this signal the road have so many patches and it is so bad that all vechiles have to go very slow. So much slow that while signal is green and vechiles are moving people easily cross the road. Due to pathetic road comparitively less vechiles cross the signal and this is happening since so many months, but all authorities are sleeping. At leat RTO should complain as they know how much traffice they have to manage. Actually you will find roads are very bad at almost all signals and therefore traffic goes very slow, resulting to more traffic. I don't know whats going to happen in monsoon.........

please put partition at jari mari route.because vechiles are not driving properly,all are driving anyhow wherever they get space to drive ,the result is traffic jam,i[censored] put small divider, at least left side vechiles would be travel left side only,they would not come to right side,so all can travel proper.please take proper action,u people not facing anything,but we are facing lot,we get delayed for office.

I am a resident of Kandarpada, Dahisar and this complaint is about the recently built foot over bridge (FOB). This FOB connects the Link Road Dahisar (W) to Anand Nagar in Dahisar (E),

There are lack of proper safety measures like no signals or smaller speed bumps at the crossroads on the Dahisar West part of the FOB, just before the FOB starts. This endangers the lives of people using the FOB.

The signals and speed bumps are put on the EAST side of the FOB (ANAND Nagar) after some local political party did a road blockage when the FOB was thrown open earlier without the proper safety measures.

We request you to put some adequate safety measures in place before this turns out to become a accident prone zone, especially after a popular fast food joint opens by end of this month.

as a responsible person, i would like to inform you that people are using MMRDA compound at bhakti park wadala east for marrage. today they are putting the Mandap with the help of the chairman and Secretary of this complex.they have given Rs.2000/- to your officers who had come for inspection. if you want you can take action soon. or else i will write to media.
