WE BOUGHT A HOUSE IN OCTOBER - 2006 IN B.T. COMPOUND, GARHA JABALPUR. WE APPLIED FOR CHANGE IN NAME OF THE HOUSE OWNER FROM MAHENDRA MISHRA TO PRIYANKA NEMA W/O SANDEEP NEMA (CURRENT OWNER) BUT THEY CHANGED THE ADDRESS IN THE FUNNIEST WAY I CAN SAY AND THAT WAS - MAHENDRA MISHRA SURAJ PRASAD NEAR B.T. ROAD, W/O SANDEEP NEMA.

WE CONTACTED IN THE LOCAL OFFICE ( AMANPUR ) THE RESPONSIBLE OFFICER SAID, WE WILL SEE IT AND SINCE THEN WE'VE COMPLAINED FOR 10 TIMES BUT NOW THEY ARE IRRITATED AND SAYS WE WILL NOT CHANGE IT. IT IS A SOFTWARE PROBLEM WE CANT SOLVE IT.

WE ARE HELPLESS, WE CANT USE THIS BILL AS ADDRESS PROOF. WHAT DO I DO NOW?
SHOULD I CLAIM IN COURT?

    Dear Sir,

    I am quite surprised to receive such a heavy bill for domestic power consumed by me during the last month. It was just not possible for me to have used so much of power during this period as my mom was out of station and we did not use AC for the whole month. I suspect that our meter is not functioning properly and is moving fast. Ever since we have taken a 3 phase connection (last year because of AC) we are getting a heavy bill even with the same usage pattern. The problem of low voltage and voltage fluctuation for which we took a 3 phase and increased our load from 2KW to 10 KW is as it is. It is amazing when you spend a lot of money and the problem is not sorted out. Our local electrician told that even 5KW was enough for the small family like yours (we are 4 people at home). But last year MPEB guys came and told to increase our load to 10 KW and threatened to take legal action against us. We increased our load but nothing happened. No voltage problem solved. AC does not work in the night.

    In brief, i want to launch complaint for 3 things:
    1. I want my meter checked, if it is functioning properly or not.
    2. I want to question MPEB for giving me wrong suggestion to increase load to 10 KW, whearas 5KW would do.
    3. When I have increased the load, why is the problem not solved? I want a solution for low voltage and voltage fluctuation problem ASAP.

    Please look into the problem ASAP and oblige.

    M.P.E.B — Voltage fluctuation

    Dear Sir, I am resident of 851,kailash vihar,city centre Gwalior and facing heavy voltage fluctuation problem since last three years always get the assurance when complaint that issue will be resolved this year but still waiting,I would like to invite MPEB people 3 pm to my house to experience horrible voltage fluctuation.

            Respected Sir/mam,
            For a long time now we have been experiencing a lot of trouble because of the irresponsible and careless attitude of the state electricity board, primarily because the state electricity board has already set the load shedding time of our region to a whooping 8-10 hrs and when problems like fault in line, fault in transformer etc. arrises there is nobody to look forward to it. That is why during the rainy season we have to sometimes face a power cut of 16-18 hrs, I would just like to bring this in your notice that most o[censored]s people whose businesses are dependent on electricity are finding hard to survive because of the boards attitude and not only this a lot of time it happens that as soon as the problem gets resolved it's time for load shedding. Sir please do something about it or we would be forced to resort to rallies to show our dissatisfaction with the board

            Dear Sir/Madam,
            I am feeling very bad that the state electricty board of MP is having a very careless persons with a very bad attitude as an employee.These persons dont even know how to treat a coustmer, they are very rude and careless only because they are getiing salary for no work.Whenever somebady complain to them about there services, they dont know what to do, and try to hide there inefficiency, they use to talk in a very bad manner.I am Completely disappointed by the services provided by MPEB.
            Today My father registerd a complain at 1 PM, & the service person told him to attend that within one hour.But even after 6 hour of waiting nobady has come to attend that, & when they were asked about that, they told that they dont have time to do so, & because it was the only complain from that area so we will not attend that.And they said that if you have an emergency, then come to us, bribe us, take us to your home, then only we will attend the complain.
            This is a case from vidisha MP from L B S nagar Link 3 dated 30/06/2011.I want an solid and immediate action against those employees for their misbehave an careless attitude.

                Dear Sir,
                MPEB mhow is supplying wrongs bills to me. I had applied and get a permanent connection in march and getting the liable bills in between Rs 450 to 500 Rs only. then suddenly i got a bill of Rs. 750, next 1200, next 1800, next 2200 then 3100 Rs... a increasing growth in the amount of my electric bills.. how can this possible..? I paid the first bill which was increased of Rs 750 but when i got the next bill of Rs 1200 aprox i gone to the electric board then they changed the amount of rs 1200 to Rs 400 rs and then when i got the another next month bill of rs 2200 then i again gone to the office and they converted the bill from 2200 to 253 Rs only. Now, U say how they can do this, how irresponsible they are.. that they are sending me wrong bills and when this month i got the bill of rs 3100 they converted it into 1371 rs. Now what can i do for this problem
                please suggest me some solid solution so that i'll not face these problems in future.
                Can i register a Case against MPEB branch mhow for this problem. I am having the original and reduced bills copies of every month, which they converted and reduced..!

                  Hello Sir,

                  My father was trying to get an permenant electric connection for newly built home since last 3 months and not yet got any assurance from the MPEB. He is 55 year old man and has served the country as a honest defence personel for 17 years to save his country and sacrifice his life. It is disgrace to see that he is still roaming around different departments and getting an false assurances by curroupt officers. At the end he have to still live in rented house because of not getting an electric connection.

                  Please look into this critical issue to resolve the problem and help my father to live his rest of his life in "peace", the thing which he fought for 17 years.

                        I just brought an a.c worth of rs 25000, but since our colony is newly developed mpeb has just provided 1 transformer to our colony, due to increasing number of houses our colony (new city colony) is facing very serious voltage problem.I am saying ki if we regularly pay bills to mpeb then why don't we get sufficient voltage like the remaining market and main city areas.I have tried everything, brought a stablizer wroth of rs 5000 but light here comes like 100watt bulb is equivalent to a candle.I kindly request consumer court to look after this issue, not vital but due to voltage problem our colony has to face a lot of problems.We kindly request consumer court to warn mpeb against this awfull act of consumer harrasement!!!!!

                          I'm living in Bhagsipura area o[censored]jjain, which is division heaquarters and we are facing a scheduled power cut of 7 hrs a day and unlimited unscheduled power cut. I have also registered a complaint againts the company on www.mpsamadhan.org but I got a rediculous reply from there. They are saying that the line loss on our feeder is more than 77%, we are geniune consumers of electriciy, we are paying our bills regularly then why are we being harrassed. I had talked to the concerned officers as well but all are saying the same thing i.e. line loss issue. I don't know where should I go and register a complaint agaist the company.

                          And mind it, this power cut has started in Nov'08 and increasing day by day.

                            Indian Villagers provide the basic need of living life which is know as food to more than 1 Billion peoples of India even why our government not thinking about villages problem.
                            I am Ravi Choudhary living in Village : Bisnavda , District: Indore. (M.P).
                            My village electricity supply is avg. of 8-10 hrs / day officially but it is not more then 8 hrs per day.
                            And this 8 hrs of electricity supply is not fixed it can vary day by day why it so. It is not only my village problem but it problem of all villages near Indore as i know.
                            How a farmer can schedule his working day.
                            Because of that problem students of villages not able to study properly.
                            Every night villagers need to sleep without fan.
                            How we can manage in 8 hrs electricity .
                            why only city areas people need electricity & all this facility, why villagers are not getting all this facility, they are not the human being.
                            Now it is 20s century we have all the facilities & technologies even then villagers of India are living like 18s century.
                            I have just show above electricity problem this is not only a single problem of villages apart from it lots of problem they are facing.

                              I am Vinod Rajani and I want to register the complain against Madhya Pradesh electricity board on the following basis:-

                              (1) On the basis on estimated consumption
                              MPEB add the estimated consumption in my electricity bill after which that his staff has checked my meter. Sir for your kind information after checking the electricity meter once they cannot add the estimated consumption in my electricity bill.

                              (2) By adding the extra consumption in my bill which is not being used by me.
                              MPEB add the extra consumption in my electricity bill in the moth of NOV-2009 of 500 units the detail of which is as under

                              Specifically this complain has already being resoled by MPEB partly & I have already paid the amount of this bill.

                              (3) On The Basis of Current electricity bill
                              MPEB has added the estimated cost in my bill after checked my meter. The meter has being checked by the authorized engineer of MPEB. After this check the engineer submit the clear report of my electric meter you can see this report on the record of MPEB

                              These are the some thing which the MPEB has done with me regarding my bill due to this entire thing I am felling mental tension and can’t concentrate on my work properly from past 6 moths.
                              I want you to register my complain and take a necessary action against MPEB.

Since that time, the electricity connection from Pole to my house is already disconnectd. but till to date I am getting the Electricity Bill of same reading which is increased to Rs. 14908.00.

                              I made verble complaints several time at MPEB Office, Khairi, but no action has been taken and it is said that first I have to deposit the amount then any further action will be taken. As well as my written complaints is not being received the office.

                              मेरी शिकायत MPEB KOLAR ROAD BHOPAL से है SERVIS NO.[protected], IVRS NO.[protected], है SIR MONTH DECEMBER 2015 मे विजली बिल 32 यूनिट का आया था जो कि ONLINE PAYMENT कर दिये थे I 05 दिन बाद दूसरा बिल 300 यूनिट का दे गए इसके बारे मे MPEB KOLAR ROAD BHOPAL जा कर जानकारी / शिकायत किये तो मिस्टर।यादव जी बोले कि आप घर जाये LINE MAN MR. KAPIL TIWARI आ कर मीटर चेक करेगे एवं TIWARI जी का मोबाइल NO भी दिये बात कर लेना फोन बार -बार लगाने पर भी फोन नहीं उठाये ([protected] ) 300 यूनिट RS 2000/- काफी बड़ा AMOUNT होने के कारण बार -बार MPEB का चक्कर लगाते रहे DATE[protected] को MPEBकी वाहन TP के पास आयी थी तो LINEMAN से बात किये तो आ कर मीटर चेक किये और मीटर बदलने के लिए बोले, मीटर भी बदला दिये MONTH MARCH 15 को MPEB OFFICE जा कर पुरानी बिल की COPY और मीटर बदलने के बाद के बिल COPY ले जा कर गए और बताए की औसत बिजली बिल यूनिट वही है जो मीटर बदलने के पहले था हमारी शिकायत है कि जितनी बिजली काUNIT USE करते है उतना ही बिजली बिल PAY कराये अनवशयक CUSTOMER को परेशान ना करे
                              DATE[protected] को MPEB OFFICE जा कर इसकी शिकायत LETTER के मधायम से करना चाहे तो सभी कर्मचारी अपना पल्ला झाड़ते रहे और मैडम पूनम से मिले वही काम करेगी ऐसा बैठे मिस्टर।गौरव जी, मिश्रा जी एवं अग्रवाल जी बोले और पूनम मैडम 04 PM तक नहीं मिली कही साइट मे थी

                              इसके बाद CM HELP LINE मे शिकायत किये शिकायत पंजीयन नंबर 1847409 है और ONLINE CONSUMER COMPLAINTS कर रहे है


                              आपसे निवेदन है कि समस्या का निदान अति सीघ्र कराये क्योकि बिजली बिल यूनिट AND AMOUNT अधिक होता जा रहा है

                                this is annonymous complaint
                                There is massive powertheft in kalaninagar(Indore)(MP) with the active help of linemen. it is done through transformer from pole near house 477, kalaninagar. when ever problem occurs, this linemen came and help them to establish their illegal electrictiy. this is done on massive scale. around 100 houses are receiving this illegal electrictiy. there are different lines for fridge, fan etc and for light(bulbs, tubes). Send this to required authority so that entrire line and transformer connections could be checked in kalaninagar. this is happening for long time.

                                  It is observed that the amount of bill is 4 times than it was for last one year. The reading is also 4 times shows on the bill but it is impossible as there is no difference in my electrical home appliences for last one year. Please look into the matter

                                    Dear Sir,

                                    With due respected I want to state that my electricity bill is coming more than our expectation. Earlier my electricity bill was coming only Rs.500 to 600/- but from last two three months my bill is coming 1500/- and above. We called electrician from MPEB office to check my meter, they came and checked meter with there electronic equipment and told that there is fault in meter. Even after that they did not changed the meter and no action has taken from there side.

                                    Hence I request you to please do some thing or take appropriate action for the same

                                      Mere ghar me vigat kuch mahino se MPEB ki taraf se jari kiya jane wala bijli ka bill bahut jyada aa raha hai. humne apne ghar ki wiring bhi ellectrition se chek karwa li hai jo ki sahi hai. aur humare ghar me aise ellectranic upkaran ka upyog bhi kam kiya jata hai jo ki jyada (haivy) bijli lete hain. uske baad bhi bill jyada aata hai. isliye meri upbhokya forum se anurodh hai ki is vishay par jald se jald dhyan diya jaye......
