Naaptol fake letter

I have received a letter along with a scratch card saying that naaptol is celebrating its 11th anniversary and providing random coupon cards/scratch cards to its selected customers. On scratching the card, it indicated that i won mahindra xuv500 and was provided with a number to call and send certain documents. Later i was asked to pay 25600/- if i have to claim a car or otherwise 14600/- if i close to encash my price.

I md faizan received a letter from naaptol saying that i have won naaptol's birthday lucky customer selection and has received 12, 00, 000 rupees. Asking me to provide the bank details and personal details. The government must take action against these fraudsters, don't know how many people got looted.

Hello sir,

I have recieved a letter on 27th August 2020 stating that, you have won 1200000 prize money.

To get this money to my account I need to pay taxes and processing fee and these charges will be paid on our own.

After paying all these charges only they will release the money of the prize amount.

By seeing all the above complaints I got to know that these fraud things are happening from long time.

I would like to recommend strongly to the responsible department to take the appropriate actions against these fraudsters.

And we contacted the person and we asked him instead of car to transfer money he said 1480000. And told to deposit 1% of that amount and we sent him amount.
Again he asked to send 3% of amount and we asked proof for our confirmation
And he one letter in HSBC bank due balance amt your cheque is on hold
Than we send remaining amt
Now he telling to deposit GST 51200
We said we can't send and to return money
He is telling it can not be refunded. Pls help us to get our money.

As everyone stated same happened.. Received a speed post from naaptol which is off course a spam
I m mentioning the whatsapp number they have in the winning letter so that it can be tracked

I got a speed post it shows that i have i selected for the lucky draw which is conducted by naaptol on its birthday and the amount is 120000 and to pay govt taxes first and to send my bank account details given numbers

Hii everyone,
I am from dhanbad. Today (15/07/2020) i got a speed post from naaptol, telling i won 12, 00, 000 inr. The message was telling me to submit my bank info. The letter mentioned about paying gst, bank processing fees towards redemption of prize money in advance.
Website naaptol gift clearly mentions "no need to call service centre because they know about sale and purchase only."

I searched in internet about this, which said it is fraud.
Then i further inquired to naaptol customer care +[protected]. Customer care said it is fraud.

So beware of these fraud letters
They mentioned (A) helpline number as [protected]; (B) tollfree number as[protected] and (C) a website www.naaptol.gift (In which address bar tooltip shows 'connection not secure').
When searched "domains. Google.com", it gave messsage as 'google domains doesn't support the. Gift ending'

I just received a speed post telling i won 1200000 inr and has also asked me to give me my bank account number.

May i know is this a fraud scheme?

Hii iam from manglore yesterday i got letter from naptol by speed post, they are asking to send account details to whatsapp no +[protected] and they are asking to deposit 6500 for mr. Shivkumar sidram swami (Sbi) a/c no-[protected], ifsc code - sbin0000052 and they are telling us we have won 880000. This is a scam don't believe in such frauds.

02/3/2020 today i got a lucky draw coupon letter by speed post. I searched the site and found the no to contact before going ahead, the no is +[protected]. I contacted this no n he called himself as siniar manager amitesh kumar jha. I called other no, s from site, they confirmed that no n amitesh kumar jha as employee of naaptol. Then he called me n told to deposit rs 8800 in fino payment bank.

I deposited the amount to this account in the given account of fino payment bank. Then a day after, he called me to deposit rs 26400 saying that your prize is on hold by rbi. I deposited the amount of rs 26400 thru imps. I didn't received the prize amount of rs 8.10 lakh, but again was told to pay 4% tax of rs 440000, which rang alarm bells. I called the person n told him to refund my deposited amount of rs 8800 and rs 26400, but he misbehaved. So i told him that i will file suit against the naaptol co n u.
Plz look into the matter and inform me as how naaptol is cheating their esteemed customers.
I was a esteemed customer who might have gone for frequent purchases of lakes of rs. The letter was beating logo of hsbc bank.
Plz get to an earliest enquiry n inform as what to do next. Please help me..

I contacted this no n he called himself as assistant manager surjit singh. I called other no, s from site, they confirmed that no n sujeet singh as employee of naaptol. Then he called me n told to deposit rs 6500 in fino payment bank. I deposited the amount in the given account of fino payment bank. Then a day after, he called me to deposit rs 25500 saying that your prize is on hold by rbi. I deposited the amount of rs 25500 thru neft in the given account of axis bank. I didn't received the prize amount of rs 12 lakh, but again was told to pay 4% tax of rs 48000, which rang alarm bells. I called the person n told him to refund my deposited amount of rs 6500 and rs 25500, but he misbehaved. So i told him that i will file suit against the naaptol co n u.

I have recived luck draw coupon two days before and i have call to help line number but no is responding. Is this true or fake. What to do now. How to response to this letter. This letter is from west bengal kolkata and they have said that 9th anniversary celebration of company and they selected me as one of the grand winner of rs. One lakh and addition they have send a scratch and win card to with it. As per letter and card have the total of rs. Eleven lakhs. Give me solution fastly whether to belive or not??

Hi i am from ahmedabad and we received a letter from naaptol along with scratch coupon that we are selected from lucky customer and on scratch coupon it is found that we won 6, 40, 000. On letter they are asking for bank details along with pan, aadhar no and mobile no. As i feel doubt, i inquired on website and finds lots of complaints therefore just sharing this. Pls. Do not provide any details as i also have not given any details and just trash that letter and coupon. Thanks

So i call up to prize helpline number and they said to give my account detailed so i gave to them. And they told me that they will transfer to my account. But they again cal me and said that i need to transfer 12000 in their account first so that they can send the amount.

Today I got a letter form naaptol in which they said I won Cash Price Rs.1, 00, 000 for That I have to Send an my adhar linked account No.with pan card is it Fake! completely Fake moreover they said don't call on Helpline no and call on [protected] this no.was switch off .I Know it's fake Plz take a action on them plz aware your customer didn't respond on those letter or call.@Jago Grahak jago#RTI

Someone calls me and he said i won naptol scarth card they send card from post office..in that card redeeem code is there and helpline num also.. I want to know it is fake r truth.. They said send ur adhar num and bank details through whatsapp.. I think its fraud and i won 1.4lrupes. Please tell me its fake r not and that helpline num is [protected]. My father received a call that he won 320000 prize as lucky draw in 11th Anniversary special of Naaptol .then we received letter in pist office and was told its a cheque for the prize money along with a coupon and also there was an attached money draft for which we were asked to pay 2600 in the post office. After receiving the envelope it had a certificate that we won this prize n we need to contact the helpline number and provide our bank details. This seems fake as i am sure they will ask me to pay them GST to release the Fund's in the bank.

I got prize coupon for 2.5 lakhs. I sent prize code to the number which number is in coupon. I person named as baskar call from kolkata, he told, "you should pay rs. 3500/- for processing charge". And i paid that money. Next i got sms from panjab national bank in that"your transaction is on hold due to 3% (7500) gst is pending". After that i paid rs.7500/- also. But i don't get prize money. After next day i got sms again from panjab national bank.in this time, they told you have to pay cgst-3%. (7500). But i told i can't. Refund my amount. But they are not response.

But they again cal me and said that i need to transfer 11000 in their account first so that they can send the amount.

My sister got a call about a week ago from naap tol, they are saying that she has won samsung note phone along with 250000 indian rupees. They are asking her to pay 4000 rs. To withdraw the cheque and receive the gift. According to my sister that gift is delivered to the district post office. And she has to pay to the post office. Once she complete the payment than only she can able to open the gift box. After that,
She call to the concern person he is saying if you trust me than pay otherwise dont pay.

Is this fake call or genuine?
Please help me to find out the correct way.

Today i. E;29/08/2017 at 12:08pm i got a call from the number "[protected]" saying that i got a tata safari car in naaptol lucky draw.
He is even telling the details of my naaptol orders.
He is asking me to pay 20000to get a car and told that within 5 days the manager will come for a ad shoot.
If i want the cash, he told me to pay 12500.
Please do check whether it is a fake cal or real.

I have got a fake call today by saying that i am the winner of naaptol lucky context and provide them rs 6500 to generate winner certificate and then i will get a brand new maruthy suzuky car worth 4200000/-. They have told the exact product i have baught from naaptol. Then i have called to naaptoll customer care number and they checked my mob number in teir website and told its a fake call. Please take immediate action against these type of complaints. Since normally illeterate house wifes will buy naaptol products and they will not try any customer care number to identify whether its a fake call or not.

Got a call from this number, said talking from naptol. Said i won tata safari car or cash of 12lac. The guy asked me to deposit money of 12500 and registration fees of 6500 in their pvt account number named after rohitraj. I counter checked the details on google and got to read the scam. We, the consumers should file complaint against the company and such scams. I'll file a petition soon and shall post the link on this website too... Need to raise voice against such scams guys...

My wife got the call they said you win the car you want cash or car my wife confirmed car for Tata Safari told me to deposit the amount of 9500rs. I said which company are you from. From the company who supplied to naaptol your purchased product. I asked the company name and a/c details i said why from personal name. Then they said amount comes with officers name only. I said ok i will make rtgs then they given me the following details. My wife did informed to naaptol customer care but no response from them yet. Just got a call from a fraud who told me that he was calling from naaptol & I have won a Tata Safari in a lucky draw. He further said that I might get the money in cash. He told me to deposit the amount of rupees 4500 in the sbi account details of which he messaged to me. When I confirmed the news by calling on the naaptol number they told me that there was no such scheme by company at that time and they do not ask for any money for delivering the prize.
