Neurogen Mumbai, Consumer Complaint =================================== 1. We have paid a lump sum amount for stem cell treatment. The accountant simply gave the receipt but never cared to write the purpose of the receipt of the money. On insisting by me, she wrote the purpose as "Stem Cell Treatment". 2. There is no responsible nursing staff to take care of the patient. Some of the people in the front desk at nursing station seemed to be mostly busy in personal calls. 3. No nursing staff came to check the patient's condition. They should do periodic rounds which is completely missing at the hospital. The owner of the hospital (I am not sure if Dr Alok Sharma is also the owner) didn't even care to have a SINGLE good, caring and experienced nurse. 4. The patient was administered IV drip treatment which was not properly handled by the nursing staff properly which is such a simple thing and a pity for the hospital. 5. The staff/nurse who came to take blood sample was highly inexperienced and it was painful experience for the patient. 6. The staff/nurse who came to do ECG took half an hour and it was not a good experience again. 7. We had taken deluxe room for which the AC was in very bad shape, there was no remote for the AC. It was an old AC which used to make a hard & heavy noise every 2 hours. 8. The Western closet was not functioning properly 9. The towel hanger in the toilet also fell down because the screw was very very loose 10. When somebody closes the main door of the deluxe room, it makes a big thud noise which is a big nuisance. 11. There was another patient who was called two times for 1st round of stem-cell treatment which is a big surprise. That patient was kept on dark for 1 hour and later was told to go back to the room as 1st is already over for him. 12. The doctors (who sit in the 1st floor) on rounds seemed to be little knowledgeable and least bothered about the patient's condition. Their objective is to FINISH the rounds only. Even though stem cell therapy seemed to be promising and many patients like us visit these hospitals as a ray of hope, the administration and nursing staff makes the over all experience a very bad one. I am not discouraging the readers of this forum from taking stem-cell therapy, but making it aware that be ready for an unfriendly attitude from the Admin/Nursing staff at this Institute. - Manish from Bangalore.
