Purchased the product on 29.12.2021. No service person visited for service despite requesting to attend the service call after 5 pm. They repeatedly called and disturbed during my working hours and automatically cancelled the call. I am thinking of approaching the consumer forum with the bills

Noise Issue In Indoor unit
Poor O general team Service. There Is A unwanted Noise In The Ac And I Made Lots Of Complaint About That. It's The New Ac After Installation It Cause Issue From Very First Day. Its his team Who Said That There is No Noise I already Share The Video regarding That but Did Not Get Any Solution Kindly resolve The Issue Or Replace The AC .

Split AC 1.5 Ton
It's been a year that i bought split AC 1.5 ton from Bercos. but experience has been horrible. in the sencod season of its operations, we can find ice on the coil at the setting of 22 degree celsius. Water drips from the indoor unit. on complaining to O general they say that since installation was not done by O general hence warranty is void. While I paid rupees 3500/- (against normal installation chantages of 1500/-), New bercos (dealer and seller) did not issue me any invoice for the same. While i was never told of installation by O general professionals was the option, now O general is contesting that it was lapse on my part and product is not covered under warranty.

I purchased AC on May 16th and they did install on the same day. After using for two days we had mother board issue with that.Because of this, we want to return it immediately.After consulting the person who installed this, he advised to keep email for reference. We are not interested in your product and please take it as soon as possible.

I regret to say that i have lost faith in your company, although i am a long term user of ogeneral appliances however this particular time your customer support have shown me that indeed a customer can be fooled even by a company like yours.
My a/c purchased on 01/04/2019 faced a problem relating to pcb a month back. This was attended by your executive and i was told by him that it will be resolved within a week it has been two weeks and i have still not received any feedback or solution whatsoever even till today.

split ac compressor fault - worst customer service

I have a Ogeneral Split AC under warranty and the compressor is not working and my AC does not cool so I have been trying to connect with customer service via emails and calls and everything I get a response that 24 - 48 hours technical will visit but its been 3 weeks no one has turned up and I guess they never will since the product is under warranty and they will not make any money out of it. Its going worse I am looking for a lawyer who can take this up in consumer forum now.

I have purchased an air conditioner on feb 2018, since then i have been struggling to get the operational issues sorted. I have tried reaching out to both croma & ogeneral representatives however the issue still persists.
Further we have been interacting with mr sachin diwedi from ogeneral from last 3 months and like to express my sincere dissatisfaction with our interaction and services provided by him. There has been multiple visits by ogeneral representatives to examine the issue of ac making sound, despite we were not been provided with the solution.
During the last discussion with mr sachin dixit, it was suggested to change the location of outdoor unit. Further, we requested to change the outdoor unit itself and he assured that he will check and confirm back in a day time. Even after multiple follow up’s with mr sachin dixit, there was no response from him. Finally we heard back from him that there is no solution to the problem and there is nothing he could help in this matter. Sir we bought ac invertor model of o general. We found that ac efficiency was gone down. Requires more time to cool the room . All parameters are found satisfactory but not coping the room

smell problem in ac

I purchased o general 1.5 ton split ac in oct month of 2017 because i think it is a reputed company, now i feel i were wrong, company may be big but a. C. Is much below the mark. That time i have no issues with this ac but in this season i started the ac after service of this it makes smell which is non tolerable after that service man again did the service and he also said smell is coming from the ac but i don't know which smell is this... After that again one technician comes same thing again happen... I submit the complaint on coustmer care which garranties t solve the solution in 24*7 but the person came on 11th day to see that ac with the same technician smell again came in front of him and he told that ur ac is big and room is small so this is happening... What is this ac is big and room is smell so smell is coming... Too much disapponited with this... Will never buy this company product and will never recommend to anyone...

I was purchased an a.c from my local market and the dealer provided me a faulty airconditioner...it doesn't work at all...I want to replace it but dealer doesn't show interest to replace ...plz help me and take out me from this trouble...brand of air conditioner is o general.

I purchased O general AC on 15.05.2017 in Vijayawada, but my AC is problem with Low Cooling from December 2017. i complained three times through customer care of ogeneral. My complaint numbers are anu[protected] dated 30.12.2017 and vij[protected] dated 28.04.2018 and vij[protected] dated 11.05.2018.But not at idetified the problem ti date i.e 21.05.2018.

I bought a o general ac on 9th april 2017, it was leak. I complaint about this in same april month to service center after so many requests an executive came and resolved the problem. Now in month of august i requested the first service of my ac. Request no. Was del[protected] allotted to mr. Jai singh. Mr. Jai singh didn’t came to my home for service of ac and closed the request. This kind of service provided by o general executives. I again gave another request no. Del[protected] and hope any executive come to attend the call. I suggest everyone please avoid to buy this product.

Installation deficiency of service

I had bought a 1.5 tonnes O General Inverter Split AC.
For installation in my village in kanyakumari district in Tamil Nadu two technicians arrive at 1730 hours at the time everyone retires from work though they were called at 1000 hours in morning.
They complete the job at 2000 hours and demand payment for 4 meters 3 core wire at Rs. 90 per metre saying for installation company supplies only 3 Metre wire. I asked him how much sq.mm rating of wire for which there is no answer
I asked why you not ask me to supply you wire before you install. No answer.
For my bedroom split air conditioner both the inside unit and out side unit can be fixed back to back and no need to install 3 meters away.
I had installed two Hitachi split air conditioners same time today which were fitted back to back and no such problems occurred.
1. There is no need to fix the back unit 3 meters away. When I asked the technician stated it will vibrate. It will never vibrate. The technicians are not aware I my self is a Engineer.
2. If they wanted they should have asked me to supply the cable. They never asked.
3. They fitted a low quality wire and demanded Rs. 360 for this 1.5 sq.mm low quality cable.
4. I refused to pay for their wire. Their boss instructed them to remove the wire and go.
O General company need to reinstall the split a.c units back to back so that no additional cables required like this

Lights are continuously blinking after switching on the AC . Working fine for 1 min and later compressor is getting off. The same is happening always when we switch on. R corded in the video.

Compressor fault

This is to bring to your noticed that eti o general compressor are getting failure every year. Iam from hotel vaishnaoi a 3 star hotel at kachiguda, hyderabad since 3 years eti genereal compressor are getting failed and every year 5 to 8 compressor are getting failure without any proper reason and the company representative are least bother to rectify the problem and they only suggesting us to replaced the new compressor and it costing a huge amount every year and the company person are very negligible and not at tall willing to solve the problem.
Eti is a mnc company since 3 years mr shoban and srinivas are suggesting us to replay the compressor but they are not solving the problem and they are not allowing to speak to the higher authority of the company they are troubling the company very badly due to which the customer are getting disturb. Please look into the matter very seriously and immediately.
After purchasing the compressor the company is not giving us the warranty even a day since 3 years we were purchased 9 compressors which is costing about 12 lakhs after taking the proper measure from the authorized eti o general air conditioner representative and given a amc even after the compressors are getting failure. The company representative and the company authorities are not bother to solve the problem. Please take the serous action against company and the representatives.

I purchased OGeneral AC 1.5 Ton from Vijay Sales Ghaziabad dated 11 Feb 2018. As per my knowledge Installation Kit comes with AC (3 Meter Couper Wire, 3.5 Meter wire with other material). But I have charged for said items.

I have bought o general air conditioner model no. Og 1.5 tn sac model: asga18ftta (Id-t026151 0d-t027698 from m/s. Moonair sales & service pvt. Ltd., from ahmedabad with bill no. 000090 dated 21.05.2015. Since august, 2015 i have getting problem of cooling from this ac and i have complaint it to dealer. Many time dealer and company has sent their engineer and technical person to my place and they couldn't giving proper solution of this problem and the problem is same since then. My warranty period is closing on 20.05.2016 so, i have request the company to replace my ac or refund me the fund i have paid to the dealer via mail and cell but they are not replying anything about the same.
So kindly try to solve the problem asap..

Buy it from from Sunil Refrigeration works (darya ganj) receipt serial no. 7721 It was working really awesome, up-to usual mark of O-General air conditioner and that makes me fully satisfied for the extra money (as
compare to others) I have spent on buying an O-General AC.
On 05.06.2014, I raised a complaint GHA[protected] online, Customer Code: EC00263245 @ 10:11AM, against the bad odor I’m getting from the air conditioner. Later in that afternoon a person name Manoj [protected] (i
think is the guy who look after the complaints of my area) called @ 2:24PM, and asked me about the necessary information about the complaint (odor problem) and confirm that someone is going to come to my home
next day.
On 06.06.2014, a technician named Md. Shakeel Ahmad (+91 [protected]) arrived at my home. The technician checks it and found that it is smells very bad. He said that he need to wash the air conditioner, then he has remove the main unit from cabinet (window) washed it, reassembled everything. After installing back I have found
out the air conditioner is still smells very bad. I have asked him what the problem with it is, he said that problem he had seen this problem with fewer air conditioners and it can’t be solved. I have again asked him to send some experience person to resolve this problem then he left nodding his head, I have written all these information on the service report (Report No. 1650).
On 09.06.2014 during night, I have found that the air conditioner stops cooling. Now my air conditioner is still smells bad with no cooling effect and I am suffering in this hottest weather of the year. I can’t be able to sleep that night and have raised a complaint No.: GHA[protected] @ 1:40AM online, for the air conditioner stopped cooling and still prevailing odor problem. Till 12:00 Noon I haven’t got any response, I called Manoj ([protected]) @ 12:04 PM, as I haven’t got any prompt response like in the previous complaint and June are the hottest month in Noida, and I told him that my air conditioner stop cooling, and request him to send a technician at my place, to my surprise he abruptly makes unnecessary excuse like I don’t have the photocopy of your invoice, is it “a duty of a customer to necessarily have a photocopy of invoice?”, or what relationship did an invoice has with cooling?. One the very next moment I have mailed him the copy of my invoice at sta.[protected]@gamil.com @ 1:12 PM and call him to confirm that he has got the invoice copy, he then assure me that he will look into it and send a technician soon, but he has not send anyone. The fact is that the air conditioner is cooling very well before the technician arrived I don’t know what has happen after him.
On 10.06.2014, after spending frustrated hot night I called Manoj @ 12:58 noon, he said he doesn’t have any technician available he can’t do anything, for two days he doesn’t have a single technician? What kind of after sale services are offered by o general?, I called customer care [protected] so that my complaint could be recorded and to seed up my complaint resolution, but I dint get any response as all executives are busy, then I have raised another Complaint No. GHA[protected] DATED 10.06.2014 @ 1:06 PM online. I haven’t got any response either from Manoj or from o general customer care. Again I have to spend another night in this hot weather, is this is for what I have purchased the best air conditioner in India for spending hot helpless night and writing long mails about the my suffering/harassments by o general. The o general promises to get complaint attended in 24-48 but
in my case it is not applicable, all the hard work of follow up and request I have to do myself.
On 11.06.2014, I called o general call center [protected] @ 10:AM, and lucky I got to talk to executive and she assured that the issue will be attended within 48hr and she has forward my complaint to service provider to assign a technician. At 1:09PM, I have received a sms saying that Md. Shakeel ([protected]) will attend my complaint, after waiting till 7:00PM i have called shakeel to assure that he is coming today, but to my surprise someone named pankaj pick up the phone and tell me to call the Mr. Manoj, I called Manoj but he dint pick up my call, what the hell, they are making fool of customer by making customer to go round and round
On 12.06.2014, I called o general call center [protected] @ 10:37AM, but I dint get any response as all executives are busy again at 11:00 AM, i am able to talk to customer care executive, he said that you have raised your complaint online, he cant do anything about online complaints, and if you (me) want action from customer care side the complaint should be raised through customer care, what kind of rules is this?, i asked him what about my previous complaints he said that for those complaints Md. Shakeel has been assign to it and he cant do anything about it, Unwillingly i have to say yes for this and a new complaint number GHA[protected] has been assign to me which according to customer care guy will be solved in new 24-48hr slot starting today, this is how o general wasting time money of consumers? later at 11:46AM i called Manoj, he again said that he has 50 more complaints to resolve and can't arrange anyone to come, i request him to arrange someone he said to call him at 2:00PM but dint promise anything. Today i m waiting for the guy to come to my place.
Will post my further suffering with o general

Subject - Commercial Airconditioner for a restaurant.
In April 2012 - we bought a set of 3 O general airconditioners from M/s Jumbo Electronics - Whitefield, Bangalore. One airconditioner was not working from the beginning. On complaining to Jumbo Electronics - we received no service. On complaining to O General - after 4 weeks they sent a technician who has still not fixed the problem. My sincere suggestion - please do not deal with O General in India. I understand that they have a good reputation but they have terrible dealers and they dont take responsibility for the work of their dealers.

I regret to inform you that the very installation of O General airconditioner sold by Rathna Cools Pvt Ltd 36/1, Rajabader Street., T.Nagar, Chennai -600017 is not done promptly and properly done by them. The airconditioner mechanics sent bythem are not trained and not at all knowing how to instal it besides they don't care to come even in time with all equipments. The name of the service Mechanics is reported to be Shanker from Vadapalani
I also feel sorry to tell you that there is absloutely no proper service after sales and monitoring by the seller by M/s Rathna Cools Pvt Ltd., . WILL YOU THEREFORE PLEASE TO TELL THEM TO APPOINT A GOOD MECHANIC CONTRACTOR REMOVING THIS SHANKAR who seems to be not qualified or experience in this line of Airconditioning.
Kindly do the needful IMMEDIATELY as I have got 2 O General airconditioners bought in the last 2 weeks for which I AM AFRAID THAT THE WARRANTY SERVICE WILL DEFINITELY BE WORST WITH THIS FELLOW WORK.

I am Yogesh Toshniwal from Chandrapur.
The day I bought AC his service is too slow and not proper.. In my family we have 11 AC of O general company AC. And everyones complaint against him is for the same...
The thing is that from last 1 month he is giving me date n date means he is giving me excuses for my AC.
My points :: My ac is not working, not chilling. I called him to send someone for checkup n let me know the problem. After 5 days service person came n checked, after sometime service person telling me 'i think ur gas leakage is problem, we have to open both compressor n machine" but this work is doing by another service person and he left...
Again after 2 days 2nd service came n done all the thing n took ac with him. And i called the dealer atleast 25 -- 30 times in couple of days.
Dealer not have anyother alternate number to call from customer side.
After 8-9 days he received my call and told next morning my ac will get okay and will send service person for fitting.
Service person from dealer side came after 2 days at my home.
AC is working perfect on same day but after 2 days its again creating problem ( gas leakage from pipe and water leakage problem from AC front side). Dealer has taken 3500rs (2500rs for gas leakage n other service charges) for such silly repairing and didn't done work properly.
When i called again to say about the problem, just asked him to know what he had done repairing in AC last time and what he said " gas leakage problem arises again and company dont have new GAS PIPE available at the moment. When ever GAS PIPE available in the company my person will come and repair it and fit at ur place.
I had waited for again 20-25 days and called him again. And what he is saying " company don't have GAS PIPE / other things unavailable"
He telling me -- he visited NAGPUR service office 2-3 times but due to unavailable I can't help,
I asked him if company don't have such parts unavailable then how you arranging such parts for new AC connection..
I told him I will complaint for ur service in COMPANY HEAD OFFICE. After that he is telling me in rude manner ""Aapko jo karna hai karlo, jagah complaint karna hai kardo mujhe koi farak nahi padta. Ab jab tak mujhe koi aapke complaint ke bare me msg or call nahi aata, tabtak aapka ac repair nahi karunga..
How rude behaviour he is giving to customer...
Is such kind of service company providing to their loyal customer.
The reason behind writing complaint to you sir is ---
1) My brother starting Restaurant in coming 1 month and I needed 4 Split AC, he decided to buy other company AC, I had purchased other company SPLIT AC. Just because of such a worst and third class service giving by such dealer...
And also needed 2 Split AC for my home but again I choose to buy other company AC.
2) I am a patient from last 6 months. And from last 25 days I am sleeping in my home without AC with my wife and with 1year old child. It's not possible for me to sleep in daily approx 46`degree temperature..
As per dealer, -- if stock is not available in the company and company is not able to arrange NEW GAS AC PYPE from last 25 days then how I help you, I want to ask if company is not able to arrange AC parts then why company is giving such a faulty promises to customers.
Till date I didn't get my AC, MY ac is with dealer...
I called dealer today again and he is debating and arguing with rude behaviour and he is saying wait till stock available in the company. And he is saying i[censored] r dealing with company sales Person then why I deal with you, contact directly with company.
If I will not get justice against dealer then I will post this all details in newspapers n other social website
I know very well how to demolish company name just because of such worst dealer...But I don't want such things to do and spoil such goodwill and reputation of company in market.

I am sharing my current worst experience of the dealer.
Dear sir,
I am Yogesh Toshniwal from Chandrapur.
The day I bought AC his service is too slow and not proper.. In my family we have 11 AC of O general company AC. And everyones complaint against him is for the same...
The thing is that from last 1 month he is giving me date n date means he is giving me excuses for my AC.
My points :: My ac is not working, not chilling. I called him to send someone for checkup n let me know the problem. After 5 days service person came n checked, after sometime service person telling me 'i think ur gas leakage is problem, we have to open both compressor n machine" but this work is doing by another service person and he left...
Again after 2 days 2nd service came n done all the thing n took ac with him. And i called the dealer atleast 25 -- 30 times in couple of days.
Dealer not have anyother alternate number to call from customer side.
After 8-9 days he received my call and told next morning my ac will get okay and will send service person for fitting.
Service person from dealer side came after 2 days at my home.

Not working Properly

I have purchased O General 1.5 T A C Model 18 GPK-AXG from National Agencies, Patiala in April 08. Because i think it is a reputed company, now i feel i was wrong, company may be big but A.C. is much below the mark. Unchi Dukaan Fika Pakwan is really suit to O general. My complaint is when we start the A.C. after some time it trips we are facing a lot of problem in this hot summer . Website is also vey poor (as A.C.) not consumer friendly, No Toll free number no address of service centre in punjab on the web.

Defective Product
I had bought 3 split air conditioners from O Generals official Dealer in Mumbai - Grand Prix Air Conditioners.
However, since the beginning, there was a problem in one of the machines. On making several complaints, Grand Prix refused to acknowledge and solve the problems. After threatening them with legal action, they accepted the problem and replaced the compressor..
However, now there is a problem of loud noise and insufficient cooling.. The noise from my split a/c is so loud, its scary at times and i keep getting scared my neighbours will wake up in the middle of the night and ask me to shut it off.
Also, the cooling will stop without any notice. After turning off the machine and restarting it after 10 minutes, it sometimes works ok, but the noise is persistent.
O General is not providing consistent quality machines any more and taking customers for a ride. Their brand is a misnomer and no longer represents the quality that they once had.
I will NEVER buy a O General A/C again.

Dear Sir,
I have O general A/c (1.5 tons) at my house. Due to unstable voltage, I by 03 stamps Blue Bird[protected] stabliser. When ever the voltage dips, A/c automatically cut of the compressor. But after the voltage becomes normal, the compressor does not starts at all. It will only starts when we shout down the A/c for at least 20 minutes. In the night it is very difficult sleep the movement the voltage drips down. This make me to change the A/c which is just 02 years old. This is for your kind information.
