Few fraudulent people are using Indian Army name for looting people by keeping household products at cheaper prices as they pretending that they got transferred from one location to another state urgently and posting the images of household products on OLX and another social media platforms.

Hi. I loose 45, 500 rs through olx. I trusted one seller he acted as army person and shared me his I'd as laxmi narayana and I trusted olx app and send the money to him. And later I came into knew he is a fraudsters. And I had logged a complain in police station. Also it's going to be 4 months no response. That accused has already withdrawn my money also from atm. Because of this olx app only I loose my money they shudnt allow people to edit the location. Dats is the reason i trusted the seller and send him money. This app shud be banned. This app shudnot have the option of editing the location. Because of this I loose money by trusting the seller. I want to take severe action on this olx app . Hw suspicious people are adding In olx and even there shud be action taken on the all sim provider company also. This accuse are using all sums Vodafone, aiterl etc. They shud be punished and shud be caught and shud be kept in jail. They are still active daily on olx.

Saw a post on olx regarding 2018 Honda Activa Golden Color, Claiming himself a CISF Constable posted at Indira Gandhi Airport, New Delhi and claimed that Scooter is with Indian Army transport parcel department who are responsible to transport the vehicle from one place another.Even Sent a receipt of Indian Army transport parcel department.
Took 36988Rs/- from me on the name Formalities done by Indian Army transport parcel department and but now he has blocked me over WhatsApp and answering my phone.

I was looking for second hand mobile phone for 3500 rupees. That seller claim to be Indian army personal. And he looted me amount of 8700 rupees.
he was telling lots of charges.. like gps charge, delivery charge, again and asking .. then I was looted by that person. This is the number he called me through [protected]

I had posted a add on OLX for induction cooktop sale. He cheated by asking me to send 1000 rs via QR code. He blocked my number after that.

Mr. Ravi kant an army man selling his honda activa at ₹9000. I paid ₹4000 further as he told to pay than he blocked ny number.

This guy claiming himself as raghunath singh hawaldar... Posted a add on olx for 5 month old samsung ac for 12500... For which i showed interest... Then he told ki he has been transferred to patna n needs to courier ac from patna to my place... N the courier charge i hav to bear as it is a cod...1050 advance i have to pay n remaining 11450 on delivery... I paid 1050... After paying only i realised that the bill he has sent me belongs from vishakapatnam n he is staying n bihar patna... N his number is from u. P... N then the so called overnite courier guy (Sanju) cald me stating that my courier has arrived in my city... I need to transfer 4000 rs... N then they will do cod... Now i was 100% sure ki it is totally fraud in the name of indian army... This guys should be punished., cheating in the name of army... There should be a message to community from the army side to be aware about this type of fraud... I was lucky that i lost only 1000rs... I saw online people had transferred money in many thousands to these guys doing these fraud.

I have added one of my ads in olx so someone messaged me an army officer he called me and contacted me via whatsapp when i got suspicious, i searched his photo i saw a lot of fraud complaints talking about him so i told him to sell my vehicle and get me a new army bullet our chatting continues this will help the indian army do everything i can i beg him to be arrested and brought before the law

I have posted an add about selling my phone. I got a call from a person called manjith, he said he will buy the mobile and asked me to send my location. Then he sent me a QR code said that it is a merchant account.he asked me to scan that code and i scanned the code it shown 'debited to' my account, So l entered my upi code and then I got credited from my account. Then he again called and asked me to scan again so that I will get refunded but I didn't do that. Then he again called me to do the same. I shouted on him then he cut the call.

Sir, i saw a advertisement on olx of oppo f11 pro. But i get cheated by paying 7500 in advance and he did not delivered my parcel.

I offered him 7500 on olx. He said that i am indian army personale and away from your location send me 1050 for curiour of your phone. First i refused but somehow by showing photo and id he convinced me to pay. After that he said to pay 6500 in evening and again in hassel i got trapped in his words. And did same mistake by paying 6500. After that he refused to his words and not returning my money worth around 7500 rupees.
