I was staying under oyo life at del1882, booking id 59831.
Oyo left the property on 31/03/202 without informing us and forcefully evicted us amidst the lockdown strictly violating delhi government orders. We were left to lot outside the building.
Even after 2 months my security of 14000 hasn’t been refunded. All the other residents got their security within a week. I’m the only one whose security is still pending.

After 2 months of repeated mails and call they still have a stereotypical response that you need to wait.

I’m planning to file a consumer court case for withholding my security and an fir against the management for forcefully evicting me amidst the lockdown against the government orders.

Any sort of help is highly appreciated.

    I was staying in oyo life blr1365 since oct'19. On 2nd of january'20 we have received an email stating that oyo is no longer interested to run the property and got shut down with 2 days notice.in the mail they have mentioned clearly as security deposit will be refunded within 7-10 working days.

    Since then i have been writing continuous emails and constant phone calls to their customer support team regarding the same.
    First they don't bother to respond to those emails, in case if they reply it will be vague answers stating that it will be resolved shortly...

    Till this time i have neither received my deposit nor any kind of information form the customer support team of oyo

      I had booked an appartment in your property with the code PUN526 under the booking ID 66541 by the name o[censored]manshu Sharma. The booking period was from 1st January 2020 to 31st January 2020. I also sent a confirmation notice regarding my check-out date on January 2nd which is 30 days prior to the checkout date i.e 31st of January, the Screen Shot of which I have attached with this complaint. I left the property on 31st January and from 2 months till a few days back I've been contacting the oyo life support and talking to the executives regarding the delay in my refund. Now after 3 months my refund has been issued to me which is just ₹3207. My deposit amount was ₹13599 out of which I don't know why rent dedication has been done of ₹7706. I have done all the things as per your policies, still such mistake has been made. In the Refund summary it has been reflected that there has been 17 days delay in the notice/ rent not paid, The attachment of which is attached with the complaint.

          I booked oyo life and pay security deposit before checkin my deposit date was 12 march 2020 and amount is 7300 rupees and my check in date was 27th march
          But due to covid 19 i cancelled the booking on 15 th march and requesting from oyo life for my refund but even after 2 months my refund still not credited in my account even after multiple calls dozens of mail. Every time the employees of oyo life have shown the belief that money will be credited in a few days. But never happened yet.

          I requesting so much please send my refund i beg for my money from oyo
          Life, i will never ever book in oyo life again in future.

            I am writing this mail regarding my securtiy deposit which they are not giving me back. I wrote multiple emails to oyo life support but everytime they just says that they are processing it. Its been more than 3 months now and i am tired following up again and again. It seems they dont want to refund my money. I request you to look into this matter and resolve earliest else i need to file a complaint against oyolife. They even changed my booking id multiple times.

              I had booked a room in hyderabad and was supposed to checkin on 18th march. I had paid the rent and security deposit in advance.
              But due to lockdown in mumbai from 14th march, i was not able to travel to hyderabad and had raised a cancellation request at life. [protected]@oyorooms.com.
              It's been more than a month now there is no response to my emails, noboby picks the calls.
              My booking id 111364 and ticket number against cancellation request is 99353. Please help me in getting my refund.

                Oyo life grg1568, booking id 54859, property supervisor - shammi, area head - gurmeet kukreja, this issue has been going over for a month now. there is no internet on my floor for over a month and nobody is ready to work on it. everybody is playing a blame game and nobody is willing to solve the issue. pathetic customer service.

                            On 23 jan i have received a mail from the oyo life that it moving out from the property. And till date i did't get my security money from them.
                            I have complaint about it about 10 times till now and every time they said, sir gove us 10-15 days from last 50 days.

                            I am so irritated by them

                            Please help me in refund of my security money.

                              First i paid for a room but because the room was not available at the time of my shifting they shifted me to some other room which was smaller than the room i paid the rent for. When i complained they shifted me to another room and after few days they forced me to shift to another room. So, basically i changed 3 rooms in one month.

                              Other than that, the kitchen is on the roof, and there is no light in the kitchen and is stinky too. Garbageman doesn't come to pick up trash.

                              Water supply, security and power backup is worst.
                              I was living in Oyo life and I left on 1 dec as the property got churned ... I was living in oyolifegrg 1041 and haven't got the refund yet

                                It's been more than a month vacating oyo life blr1916 but still there is no response about security refund issue. Even after calling on a daily basis, there is a monotonous response that they have forwarded the concern to higher authority. Their higher authority is shameless. They are not coming over call nor acknowledging the mails. They are not providing any proper information whether they will even refund the amount or not. It feels like a torture. Never expected such pathetic behaviour from this brand.

                                    I have checked in my oyolife room on 3 feb. The room which was given to me was so dirty that it was not cleaned from last 2-3 months. The room was without key and i was stuck for whole day because there was no key and couldn’t lock the room. After making so many calls to so many people finally they made the key for which i paid. Than boiler in bathroom was also not working and i had to bath with cold water. After making so many calls it was repaired next day and that created so much mess in the bathroom which nobody came to clean, i did it myself. Than there was a dustbin outside my room which was full and trash ich had not been thrown out from many days. It smelled bad and mosquitos were growling over it. After reminding for so many days i brought the bin bags to through but it wasn’t done. I was told there is washing machine but actually nothing is there. Kicthen come over n have a look one cannot stand over there. I cleaned my room myself this sunday which was promised zo be cleaned by oyo. So after all this i want my refund and would like to check out asap. Please help me out. This is not what i chose for. Thanks

                                      My checkout date is march 6th, but they have some issues that's why they removing property before 28th february. I paid one month advance and every month utensils, vas charges which they are not provide.
                                      I have less time to find a new home in my budget because oyo management are forcing.
                                      Oyo can't provide regular water supply, electrical supply, wifi and some utensils but oyo was charged these all things.
                                      Oyo mailed to me my advance was returned after 10 days of vacating oyo

                                        We had been staying in Oyo Life's PG till January end, after which they shut down the property and asked everyone to vacate the property or relocate to one of their other PGs in the area.They sent a mail informing us about it and also mentioning that they will refund the security deposit within 7-10 days.

                                        However, it's been almost a month now and there is no sign of any refund. We emailed the support team and nobody seems to reply to any o[censored]s. Even on call, they never provide us with a proper answer. I've written to their facebook support team and as usual it's the same answer that I need to wait more.

                                        My booking ID is 65460.Along with me, there are 30 more people who were staying in the PG and haven't received the deposit till now.

                                          I stayed in oyo life almost 2-3 months, then i had to move out due to some emergency and i raised move out request in app on 6th nov 2019 and left on the same day.
                                          Lets say they have 1 month notice period and i had already paid rent for nov month.
                                          According to notice period they can deduct money till 6th of dec, remaining should be refunded back.

                                            My oyo life booking id is 88813
                                            I have moved out of my oyo life on 1st feb, 2020.
                                            After that 15 business days are over and i haven't received my total expected security deposit return.

                                            It was told during move out that rs.999 will be deducted from security deposit dor not staying for minimum of 4months in oyo life though they advertisement says that there are no lock in period in oyo life.
                                            Then also much more than the expected amount is deducted from my account. After i moved out from there new customer moved in. So basically they are taking rent from both customer for that extra few days.
                                            I want the oyo life to return my security deposit. (Which i payed before moving in).
                                            I have the bill for the security deposit.

                                              Constantly trying to get refund for my booking which i made for 7 days and after that i was asked to leave the property with in week i left it and promised to get return of security within 15 days but haven’t got anything till now getting ignored on emails getting fake promises of returning but haven’t got anything till now my booking id is 96424 with oyolifegrg1602
                                              I have stayed in BLR994 for 1 year 2 months and I have not been refunded my security deposit. I have vacated on Jan 13 and my booking ID is 63591 and I have paid 28k as security deposit. Can we file a case against these people to get my security deposit back.

                                                My booking id is 48893. When i checked in oyolife i got the mail written that i need to serve 7 days of notice before move out basis on that i did the same. I checked in the property on 1 oct 2019 and served the notice on 23 nov 2019 and checked out on 1dec 2019. Now i am following up from last 2.5 months for my money but they are not refunding back saying that i need to serve 30 days of notice about which i was unaware as i received for 7 days of notice in mail. Now these people are not replying back on my mails when i attach the mail that i received at the time of check in. I am a student whose financial condition is not good. Pls refund my money asap.

                                                  I recently booked oyo life at pun655 locality based at vadgoan budruk pune.
                                                  I directly opted to book the property without seeking any prior scheduling since i was busy and the ease of taking a virtual property tour via images provided in oyo life app assured me about the probity of the room. However after making a successful booking and following up with the stay supervisor for the last second otp number i came to realise that the single room that i booked for 5.5k rent was in actuality a 1bhk flat with an attached girl room. Now since the stay supervisor illumined me about the mislabelling of the flat from oyo life, i decided to cancel my booking without commencing my term and told them to cancel the said booking at the earliest to which they subsequently agreed and assured me the refund of my money inter alia.
                                                  Now this is where the purgatory dawns.
                                                  I have been following up like a mendicant with oyo customer care about the update of my refund and till when can i expect the same being reflected on my main mode of payment however from past 20days they are running the same mundane line of we are working for a quick resolution" and blithely keep the statement there without practically assuring anything.
                                                  I thought since oyo is a young start up company which is taking a drastic step up in the hospitality industry and is already flourishing well all over india and laterally on a global scale. I thought oyo life might provide a very comfortable roof over my head and will make me feel at home considering their novel terms like no lock in 24/7 security & multiple payments option mode via which we can pay our rent, however now after this recent incident i'm highly doubting about such motley of schemes they are providing and is concerned about their dark or i would rather say lackadaisical truth.
                                                  I understand that the more giant an organisation is the more problems it faces through and i am not vilely blaming oyo for an inadvertent error that they made labelling the room for which i asked for the cancellation of the same and requested for a refund.
                                                  Now since i have requested for my refund all im asking is an expedition of the process so that the reputation of oyo as a reliable and notable hospitality firm could stay alive and people like me who are taking a virtual route from emails to calls for their hard earned money could be reimbursed quick so that we can rebuild our trust with oyo and opt for their service on a consistent scale day by day.

                                                    I checked out from the property on 14/12/2019 and it's 9/02/2020 and i still haven't received my refund. I have called the customer support some 30 times and i always hear the same response that it's under process and it's going to them some more time but they never specify the exact time and now it's has been almost 2 months and still didn't get my refund. The app policy clearly says that i'll receive my refund within 7-10 working days which has not happened. A strict action should be taken against these people. This is so unprofessional.

                                                      I stayed in oyolife nod628 noida.
                                                      My booking id is: 24815
                                                      I moved out on 30th of november 2019.
                                                      I was requested to wait only for 15 days for processing my security refund of 6999 inr. Even after 18th of december when i got no refund, i called them and since then i have been calling oyolife customer services every third day and all they have to say to me is to wait for next 24-48 hours to initiate the refund. It has been more than two months and i am feeling cheated. Please help me and refund my security oyolife.

                                                          My name is sandeep and i have stayed in one of the pg of oyo life in bangalore and my booking id is 69135. Initially i joined in the pg with a view that property is being managed by oyo. (At the time of booking oyo actually manipulated), but it is being handled by local owner. Who is very rude. Due to which i have vacated within a month. It happened about a month ago. I have sent mails asking for my refund but there is no reply from oyo side. Literally they cheated me and now they are not giving my security deposit back.

                                                            Hi, i am chiranshu arora. I stayed at oyo life 1145 hyd from 6 nov to 16th dec, 2019. Its been over a month since i moved out from oyo life and i haven't received my security amount as a refund back yet which is about rs. 6500/-. The policy clearly says that within 15 days of moving out and formalities done away with, the customer will get the refund and nothing of that sort has been done. Rather i have called them 12 times to be exact and one of the times i even got rebuked by one of their helpline workers and recently again kept on hold for about 50 minutes. I have tweeted the issue twice by tagging them and the founder. There have been no replies to my emails which could explain the delay. Every time i have called them, they have asked me to wait more. They basically have cheated me with my money and made me pass through a hell of a time. My money is not secure at all with them. I am attaching my email conversations with them here.
                                                            I am not left with any other option but to approach here. I hope after all this, you would help me get my refund back and damages for making me suffer mentally and waste my time.
