I checked out from oyo life mum 1305, powai on 8th dec. 2019. Till now the security deposit has not been refunded. Moreover neither the property manager nor the support team is responding to my messages/emails regarding the status of security deposit refund. I feel cheated by oyo life and the worst customer support i have ever experienced.

    I started my stay at OYO Life since 4th December 2019. Booking ID: 73406
    They took a month's rent in advance and another month's rent as a security deposit.
    On January 2nd, 2020, they mailed me that the property I was staying at was shut down and that I can move out by January 7th, 2020, and that my security deposit will be refunded within 7 to 10 working days from January 7th, 2020.

    Today is January 21st, 2020, and I called the customer care almost 20 times and mailed them numerous times with no appropriate reply from them.

    They are not at all responsible for their customers.

    Please get me my money back.

        My name is Arpan Thapa. I stayed in oyo life Kolkata, West Bengal .My booking id is : 72561.I checked in there in 1 dec 2019 and checked out on 1jan 2020 due to personal reasons.They took rs 6399 as security deposit. And that should be refunded after i check out but i got only Rs 1796.03 of my security deposit. And when i called the Oyo care they told me they don't have any records . I want my money back or at least an explanation why it was deducted.And if you don't have any explanation please refund my money.

          This is sanket ganorkar, booking id 86276. Under the name policy, oyo life is deducting 500₹ from safety deposite as kyc charges. As everywhere kyc is free, this deduction of money, i find arbitrary and loot. Please look into this matter.

          And also they are deducting 999₹ as exit fee. When reason is asked, this time too they append it with policy.

          As a consumer i should be informed the reason of such money deduction. Such type of money deduction is clearly arbitrary.

            Dear Sir/maam

            My son had stayed in oyolife govindpuri Delhi in Nov 2019 and checked out on 2nd dec.They had collected a security deposit of Rs.7000 which is to be refunded when the room.is vacated.
            They sent a message that they accepted the vacating and will process our refund.
            I have been following up.since dec 13th for this refund..On 18th dec or so the customer service officer Sandeep from Oyolife assures me that the refund is being processed and will be paid in 2 days. They were sorry it got delayed and checked all the relevant data.
            Since.i did not get a cal back from them I followed up again today. The lady who took my call tells me that they have not initiated the process still and will not initiate the process. They expect us to now provide a notice period.
            When they have my 7000 rs in their deposit and the room has been vacated how can they hold.our money
            There is no follow up and their room cleanliness was so bad and that was the reason for vacating the room.in a months time.
            They did not respect any customer and dont keep their promises.
            I have been harassed trying to reach them over and over again for my money and till now there Is no initiative from.theit end
            I seek help to get my refund please.

              Check out on 4th dec 2019 now its already 2020 jan. Tried calling them mANY TIMEs all their response was it's under process please wait for 2-3 days... don't believe that you'll get your deposit in 15 days. So many promises non they fulfilled. Supervisor is full of attitude and don't know ###. CAU increase every month, i was paying 13k in just 3 months its was supposed to be 12k. Horrible experience.

                I was living in oyo pun576(booking id:25607) which has been taken out of Oyo life by the owner and deposit have to be refunded back to tenants. They asked us to shift to a new location or in case if we want to exit, oyo will refund the full security deposit in 7-8 days as it can be seen in the mails provided below. We choose to exit the place and now it is more than 20 days and no money has been refunded back till now and when we are trying to contact them. They are not picking up our phones or giving lame excuses towards the situation. I didn't expect this behavior and negligence from an esteemed company like Oyo. Please look into the matter as they are holding deposit of complete building(more than 10) because most of them chose to exit. This is a serious issue and proper resolution should be taken.

                  I am sorry to say that oyolife is not a professional organization. So far they have not refunded my security deposit inspite of numerous calls, mails. Seems they are not all bothered about customers who believed them and deposited security amount. I have joined blr 1246, falt 201 on july 1st 2019. The agreement between oyolife and property owner got terminated. While i approached oyolife to get a clarity for past 3 months, there was no response from oyolife but they send me reminders, legal notices. I have replied back and called them but of no use. I have vacated the property and the private property owner's representative asks me to contact oyolife for refund. Despite calls and mails there has been no update from oyolife. Please help.

                  I have booked oyo on 24th november 2019. I property name was r OYO LIFE GRG1283 Sector 52, gurgaon. and i have left it on 16 dec 2019. It have been more than 2 week and i have got no clue about my security refunds. my booking id was 68223.

                    This is arijit choudhury with booking id's 56073, 56076.

                    This is a request of refund of the payment of rs. 54682.83/- (Made in three installments) that i had made on 17-october for an accommodation for me and my wife (Mrs. Pallabi dey) through oyo life for room no 201 at property mum1422 in mumbai. The accommodation was supposed to start on 19th october.

                    To our surprise when we arrived at the property on 19-october-2019 we were told by the oyo-life staffs there that the aforesaid room was not ready and could not be made available to us on that day. We were then asked to take a different room in some other property (Mum1200) nearby. The quality of the makeshift room was nowhere near to what we had paid for. The room was unclean, smelly and very small. As such we had no other options but to move out and make some arrangements elsewhere.

                    Consequently, we made the request for refund of the entire sum of 54682.83/- for failing to provide service as per the agreement with the following people from oyolife for the refund (Not sure about their names):

                    1. Shoeb choudhari - +91-[protected]
                    2. Mohd sadab qureshi - +91-[protected]

                    With a lot of disappointment i'm writing this because it is almost a month now. I have called the above numbers and also oyo life customer care several times and also mailed them on 6-nov-2019 regarding the refund but with no success. Unfortunately, i didn't receive any satisfying reply and also lies many a times in call and no reply (Through call or email) at all from the concerned team, now the trust with oyo life is deteriorating as they don't have time to reply to a customer, i had a faith in oyo life but now i don't know.

                    I have a big doubt about my refund from oyo life and i don't know whether i will get it or not.

                      This is Keyur Satra with booking I'd -57896.
                      I have booked OYO LIFE DEL2058 on 24th November, 2019, starting my moving in date from 1st of December 2019 and this complaint is for oyo life regarding to cancel my booking as they don't have any service or a will, to reply the customer back and to give their security deposit refund back.

                      With a lot of dissapointment I'm writing this because I mailed them around 6 times and also called around 15 times to their help team in the last 9 days, But didnt receive any satisfying reply and also lies many a times in call and no reply at all from the concerned team, now the trust with Oyo life is deteriorating as they dont have time to reply to a customer, i had a faith in Oyo life but now i don't know.

                      Its been a lot of days already and I didnt receive my refund of the cancellation booking nor any response from last 9 days, oyo life doesnt have a customer department in, call for cancellation and nor the will or commitment to work for our refunds.

                      I have a big doubt and an, insecurity with my money with Oyo life and I don't know whether i will get it or not.

                        I have a complain against oyo life in the initial agreement my rent is fixed as 5540 for an year and after staying in the property i can see that i am being charged different different amount every month first month i received additional bill of 390 second month i received bill of 490 rs and after two days i see that 490 changes to 750 rs when called to customer care team they respond that you have to pay the charges due to technical error it was showing 490 two days back. I need to know how come it got changed within two days. They did not give proper breakup of the bills. The amenities are also not as per shown or mentioned in the advertisement. They are going against agreement.

                          I was supposed to check in on 28 sep but the property which i had booked was not yet ready to provide the service so i took a room near by my working place. So i mailed them on 1st oct my booking id 48795 and the amount to be refunded is ₹3299. I spoked to customer care but they are least interested in processing the complaint it's almost one month i'm speaking to them, they tell it will be refunded in 7 to 8 working days then again the same thing they repeat our this team is working we are forwarding like same shirt always.

                            I had stayed in oho life from june to sep 2019 and deposited security amount 5999 from some one else’s account whom i had taken help from to deposit my account and do not know him much. I checked out after serving one month notice on 30th sep 2019. From past last one month i had been calling and mailing them to transfer the security amount to my account which is mentioned in the mail. But to no avail they transferred the amount to original payment account which is not mine. Which is still not credited according to that guy whom i don't know will give money or not. I want them to give me back my amount.

                              I left the property of oyolife sector 17 a on august 31, 2019. As per the company's policy, i should have the full security amount refunded by 7- 14 days but it has been more than a month and an additional week but no money has been refunded yet.

                              I have sent multiple emails and called customer care more than 15 times but they make fake promises to refund my money in 1-2 days but no actions are taken post that. I don't even receive any response on my emails either.

                              Worse, there is nobody taking accountability for refunding my money. This is customer care number - [protected]. I have called several times but no solutions is ever provided by the team.

                              It's been really frustrating and i want full refund of my money and fine for this delay and whole lot of inconvenience like they take when the rent is delayed.

                                I have booked an oyo life property BLR 1629 on 02/01/2019. Upon successful completion of the booking the money has been deducted from my account as well as shown success but the failed to process further. Upon enquiry with the customer support they told me that my booking is still in draft and no proof. I mailed them all the screen shot and they asked me to book again. Is this a joke?

                                Oyo is such a scam. Even the bank has confirmed the transaction to be successful yet oyo is denying the fact. Such a shame that oyo life can't make the customer happy.

                                No refund received even after 12 days. Such a pathetic response from oyo. I urge everyone seeing this post to not prefer oyo living on the basis of brand name oyo.

                                I have not received my refund yet but I was told I will receive my refund in 10 days. I have attached the screenshot of the same. Don't trust oyo life. They'll spoil your trust in the oyo brand.

                                  I have entered the oyo life property on 13th of may and vacate the property on 28th of june. By the policy i have filled their checkout form one month prior to checkout date. The policy says within 15 days they will credit the amount.

                                  Its been 19 days and no body in my contact with the oyo is responsive on my request to return me the security amount.

                                    I checked in to the property on 5th may and was just told that you will get the refund back in 15 days after the checkout. Sir, i am not even leaving for a month here. I will be vacating the property on 30th of may. Sir i checked in on the 5th may so how could i have sent a notice on the 1st or 2nd may. Further i was totally unaware about this policy. Sir, if i would have mailed for eviction on 5th may then also i would not have entitled to get my money back. Sir the refund policy is totally arbitrary, against the interest of the consumer.
                                    Sir their is flow in the policy of 30 days eviction period. Sir if a person wants to live for 25 days doesn't he entitled to get back his security deposit back. Further if a person checked in on 5th of the month and wants to live only for 25 days then as per your policy he is not entitled to get the refund of his security deposit. Oyo living also has a policy of no lock in period so it is on the person how many days he wants to stay in the property.
                                    Sir this issue needs to deal with great concern. Further, u also have a policy which says no lock in period. So if i am living for a month. I am allowed to do that further i am entitled to get back my security deposit.
                                    Sir being a student it's very hard to loose such a big amount of money. I request you to please consider the request, accept my request of checkout on 30th may and please refund my security money.

                                    It’s been several months (01/06/22) since I have left the property still they have not initiated my refund.

                                    Last on 08/08/2022 they raised a ticket ([protected]) post that nothing has been communicated from their end.
