This is Sarumathi Balakrishnan. I have filed for a new passport at POPSK. The police verification was not happening for two weeks. Even though I called them several times before from day 5 after my application submission. Even after such requests still the report was not submitted....

I have Applied for my Passport in the nearest passport office and It has been a Very Long time since I have not received it Yet. It is taking a very long time. Kindly look into the matter and Please help me out to receive my Passport as soon as possible.

I was using "Passport Seva" site regarding re-issue of my passport.
This site is being maintained by Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.

There is spelling mistake of "Receipt" while downloading Passport Appointment Receipt as shown in attached screenshot. It is showing as "Reciept" instead of "Receipt".

Request you to please resolve this issue...

I, RAMANDEEP KAUR was applying for passport through online mode and initiated a payment of Rs. 2017 using a Bank Of Baroda debit card, the amount Rs. 2017 got deducted from the bank account, but the payment status in the passport application portal was failed. In process of filling the application online “present address” filling gave me following error.
“in present address, the entered PIN code does not lie in the selected district. Please re-enter.”
