I am getting the status: "Police Report is adverse, a show-cause notice is being sent by Post."

I submitted my daughter's passport application on 17/07/09. I submitted in the Head post office. But still the status is not avilable. If I call the call center they say, they haven't received the application. If I enquire at post office, the application is already sent to the regional passport office. This is chaitanya and i have applied for my passport in may 2009 and till now online status is not updated, police verfication is already done. When I logon to www.ap.nic.in/passport it is showing that File Reference Number (Z[protected] is either wrong or Information NOT available...please tell me how can i search my
informaion about passport submited at gurgaon(PO for delhi). I have to show online status in office....
