No refund of PTE academic teat

Hi I had taken an appointment with PTE for Academic test and paid for PTE academic test. They have a mandatory field of mentioning the last name and since I don't have a last name and the field was mandatory i mentioned my dad's name as last name and consulted with customer care and Mumbai Andheri branch on the query for name. But they cancelled the exam and mentioned it's major issue and money cannot be refund. Pearson has become a complete unprofessional org.

PTE Academic Mismatch ID

I am writing this complaint about PTE Academic from Pearson which is definitely not helping students or professional in any form and is making one forfeit the fees for silly reasons.
I had scheduled my exam on 6th Oct 2023 at 8 AM (Registration ID:[protected], PTE ID: PTE[protected] in one of Bangalore center and i was not allowed to take up the exam because of the name mismatch in Passport. The center people didn't give much information, they just created case number and asked me to contact customer service.
After coming home and when i read through all policy and the policy requirements everywhere i see that they have mentioned there ID requirement, but i hope they never cared about candidates ID especially from India. Here most of them will have there names in given name with or without surname and also there other govt provided id's will have only Name with initials which usually will be there legal names.

When the center don't want to disappoint candidates and understand real scenario why are they looting money and allowing one to commit mistake instead of taking this issue and fix. I see even lot of complaints in this forum itself for same issue.
By biggest question as an Engineer is instead of so many FAQ's why don't there tool have a simple validation on the first and last name field? When they know that the name field cannot have single alphabet why can't they provide validation from there end?
The consequences of all this is bared by a candidate who would have prepared so well for the exam, managing time, mental stress, nervousness. After managing all and coming to the center, the candidate will not be allowed for such a silly reason? Why can't they consider other documents too which is provided by Indian govt and then take proper decision?
A score report however takes a day or more to be generated so if required, name modification could have done been done later.
Having the system which is really not competent and as per standard requirement and making candidate pay for this is equal to fraud.
I also must say about the customer service who when pinged doesn't even understand the question and the answer provided will be out of topic. I am not sure how many would have been a victim because of there not-knowledgeable answers.
I advice all the people who are taking up the exam to be more mindful while entering names (no initials). If any doubt just contact the customer support and ask them to fix the issue and then book exam. Do not loose money for this silly trap.
I am also not sure or no hopes of Pearson allowing me to reschedule as they don't consider there system validations to be of reason and it's always candidates responsibility but if provided then that will be a real value to the test academies.

Respected Pearson VUE Exam Security, Media, Test Owners and Immigration Authorities,
Time and again genuine people have raised voices to point out malpractices in computer based exam frauds in PTE, GMAT, ICS2, PMP TOEFL, GRE, CAE etc. While Indian criminal investigation agencies have made note and caught a cartel of people operating this online test at home, scam proxy agents have become busy plotting new modus operandi to do proxy and frauds back within test centers.
This email is being shared as whistle blower communication highlighting the hidden agenda of proxy agents who are working with corrupt insiders. We will share complete details so that Pearson VUE and test owners can take action. As per current market intelligence gathered from credible sources show that 40 % of APAC and 65% of India based PTE-A and GMAT test centers are involved in some level of testing frauds. This is evident from the fact that Pearson faced fraud in one of its own test centers in North India.
Unfortunately corrupt people in the Selects and PTE team in India namely Rajiv Kapoor, Abhishek Khetawat and Karan Nanda continue to milk unethical kickbacks with old wine in new bottle strategy. Old closed select test centers persons get new profiles of the same persons and are allocated new test centers to continue frauds and this keeps the kick back cycle going on.
These insiders work in cohorts with West India based kingpin Ms.Rinkoo Shah and Ms Priya who are internally funded by Mr Yogesh Patel. On ground this is further support by local proxy goons namely Charjeev Sharma, Chetan, Gaurav who bride college lab assistants. This people where operating KC college select site when its got closed they were assigned new center Maharashtra College of Arts Science and Commerce, DIT ( which got closed), Gyan Jyoti and Buddha Institute and 2 more are being applied by this cartel in Mumbai of which deals are being spearheaded by Charjeev. Pearson Quality will soon be receiving these colleges from the Selects team. If you need more details we can provide the same too.
This cartel is now eyeing moolah from test centers has onvue is in limelight due to frauds. In Karan Nanda's own words "nothing can stop them now as they have all support from top and they can bypass security, quality processes as selects team has all the power"
We have done our part and moral duty to highlight malpractices. It is up to the uncorrupted test security team to investigate and ensure this rot is addressed.

The FIR was registered on the complaint of one of the representatives of Pearson VUE, Shantanu Kumar. Police said Pearson VUE is authorised to conduct the PTE-A for half a dozen foreign countries, including New Zealand and Austria. A local test centre manager of one of the reputed education services, Pearson VUE, which helps the students wanting to go abroad with English Language Test (The Pearson Test of English Academic [PTE-A]), was booked for arranging proxy candidates in Chandigarh on Wednesday. The test centre of Pearson VUE is located at Elante Mall in Phase-1, Industrial Area.
The accused was identified as Mandeep Sethi. He is absconding. Names of at least 22 candidates against whom proxy candidates appeared were mentioned in the FIR. The PTE-A is a computer-based test of English language made compulsory by various universities, colleges and governments around the world. Sethi was sacked from the Pearson VUE, which belongs to M/s Pearson India Education Services Pvt Ltd.
The FIR was registered on the complaint of one of the representatives of Pearson VUE, Shantanu Kumar. Police said Perason VUE is authorised to conduct the PTE-A for half a dozen foreign countries, including New Zealand and Austria.
A staff member of the company requesting anonymity said, “There is a set protocol for appearing in PTE-A in our centre. A candidate has to give his palm vein scan, photograph and signature at the admin desk before entering the examination room. He also gets his passport checked at the admin desk. After giving the palm vein scan, photograph and signature, the candidate has to wait to enter the examination room. But at Chandigarh centre, we observed various discrepancies. The scrutiny of CCTV cameras revealed that the original candidate entered the washroom but proxy candidates came out from the washroom dressed in the clothes of actual candidates. The internal probe also established when Mandeep Sethi was facilitating these proxy candidates to entre the examination room using some other identity cards. We collected all the relevant evidence in the shape of CCTV footages, signatures and original documents of actual candidates.”
DSP (East) Dilsher Singh Chandel said, “The role of 22 original candidates is being investigated. We have sought more details from the Pearson VUE. As per the company, the internal probe was started when some of candidates who had performed very badly in PTE-A earlier did excellent within a short period. The company launched an internal probe and lodged a complaint with the police.”
A case of forgery, cheating, impersonation and criminal conspiracy was registered at the Industrial Area police station.

PTE academic score delayed still and not received more than 14 days

My name is Sashirupini. My email is [protected]@gmail.com. I did my PTE academic exam with pearson on august 11th 2022 and it is 14 days and still no score. I have filled forms called many times and the pearson VUE team copies a common response and send it across all candidates without solving the issue. They practically don’t care. Pearson got our exam money and didnot send my score or have not even advised why delay. Pearson has left us with so much confusion and causing a huge issue not proceeding us further with our destination. Exam fees fraud

Pearson VUE made me wait for more than an hour for a scheduled exam and finally didn't let in. Also, they are not refunding the exam fees or either letting to reschedule the exam

Pearson vue were suppose to take exam for Microsoft Azure AI-102 but the software they have is full of issue and didn't start the exam even when all the system tests were done and no issues were received. They didn't reschedule the exam also they are just cheaters who loots money by people paying for exam . Very very upset by this fraud....

Only show my previous result in my Pte account but they can don't reply me Pearson. I have sent emails several times don't reply me I call for customer centre ignoring me please you can quickly solve my solution please my result is declare in my Pte account. So I would like to ask you assistance to do a proper investigation on what happen in my result. Thanks

Exam results are exactly the same as previous exam

I took the Texas State PEDAGOGY PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITY EC-12 160 exam and received the "same exact score results" for the second time. I find this very rare and extremely difficult to believe one would receive the same exact results on an exam twice in a row. I scored a 239 both attempts, which is failing by only one point. I tudied fir mobths very explicit covering all the materials on repeat. I know for a fact I did far better on my second attempt so there is no way I scored the same. Please look into my complaint. My entire career is based on passing this exam which I believe to be flawed in the grading system.

Result delay of PTE academic
Myself Rohit Rathee, My PTE academic exam was on 12th of june. After 20 days of my exam I haven't got my result . I filed a complaint in the Pearson customer support center many times but they are just ignoring and doing nothing else. I am totally disappointed by this activity. I want my result as soon as possible because I have to proceed my application process further in the universities.

How someone that lives in Australia for more than 6 years and speak English all day at the job, answering phone calls all the time can take a low score in the speaking?
Yes, PTE will give you a low score just for you pay and pay it again and take the test many and many times and their are happy making money.
Try call to the Australian phone number, you can not understand one word from who will answer the phone...

Not received pte scores

Pearson Vue account locked due to financial issues
I have to download my score report of Blue Prism AD01 Examination from Pearson Vue account, but it is locked.
I applied for Blue Prism AD01 Examination on 20th Aug 2019 and paid examination fees, also received an invoice from Pearson vue having payment receipt details.
On 27th Aug 2019, I appeared in examination and passed it. I could also download score report from my Pearson Vue account.

Recently I changed my work organization and lost the document in the process.
So, I tried to access Pearson vue account to download my score report, as I need to upload the same in current organization portal.
But I found that my account has been locked due to financial reasons, when I contacted Pearson Vue customer support, they said that the payment of examination was not received by them.
They are not considering the receipt I shared with them. Also showed them the bank statement for that transaction, but they are not listening.
They gave me two options either to share my debit card details (Card number, expiry date and CVV) to make payment for examination or share bank transaction statement for the duration: Aug 2019 till date.
If any transaction fails the amount is reversed within 7 working days and not more than that. I appeared for examination a week after making payment for examination and was able to access account post that.
I didn't receive any message/email from bank or Pearson Vue regarding failed transaction.
The customer support keeps sending same general email on each of my enquiry mails and when I contact them through call, they say why didn't I check my account earlier and ask me to make payment for exam by sharing card details which is against RBI guidelines.
I am attaching invoice and email conversation with customer support for your reference.
I applied for Blue Prism AD01 Examination on 20th Aug 2019 and paid examination fees, also received an invoice from Pearson vue having payment receipt details.
On 27th Aug 2019, I appeared in examination and passed it. I could also download score report from my Pearson Vue account.

Recently I changed my work organization and lost the document in the process.
So, I tried to access Pearson vue account to download my score report, as I need to upload the same in current organization portal.
But I found that my account has been locked due to financial reasons, when I contacted Pearson Vue customer support, they said that the payment of examination was not received by them.
They are not considering the receipt I shared with them. Also showed them the bank statement for that transaction, but they are not listening.
They gave me two options either to share my debit card details (Card number, expiry date and CVV) to make payment for examination or share bank transaction statement for the duration: Aug 2019 till date.
If any transaction fails the amount is reversed within 7 working days and not more than that. I appeared for examination a week after making payment for examination and was able to access account post that.
I didn't receive any message/email from bank or Pearson Vue regarding failed transaction.

I score very high on most test’s that I take- but it seems this particular examiner is biased perhaps on my ethnicity- gender- location because I am a very substantial on paper and work performance- I also believe my last test was timed much faster. Do they do that just for Gov contracts? With no real display for grades- I was not given a score and I am a high top secret candidate- lol- this company should be audited. They do this for Government jobs and Comptia

I am having issues with not getting my score back from pearsons Vue. I took my casp+ exam January 8th and it said completed. But I never got my scores. When I go to the site to look at my exam it still states -In progress. I've called them every day it's always it will take 3 to 5 business days.
It's now going on 3 weeks and still no exam. This exam was a work requirement. That now I can't meet so my job let me go. I've contacted Pearson Vue many times. They said it was an issue in their end and to wait 3 to 5 business days and I will get a call. No call. I initially was scheduled to take the test December 30 but had technical issues with their software. I've called them everyday! Their customer service is the worst. They gave me a free voucher for my troubles. That I can't use because my test still shows I progress 3 weeks later. This particular cert is required for my job. Needless to say I didn't meet work requirements and was let go. I was fired because I could not get my test results and all Pearson Vue could say is we can get you a free voucher. I WANT My scores!!! I even opted to re take it but they said the can't close out the test. That's comptias job. This is a horrible company!

Rescheduling / Cancellation of ISC2 Exam with Pearson VUE
I have contacted Pearson VUE for Rescheduling / Cancellation of my upcoming test from ISC2 on 14th September because due Pandemic I am not able to travel to the test location in different state and in my state (mentioned in the address) there is no test center for the particular exam.
I was not able to reschedule the exam as ISC2 suddenly changed their policy that the exam has to be taken within 365 days, this rule came after my booking and also it was not intimated to me by any of the party (mainly Pearson as exam delivery related responsibility is in their part).
After many verifications and communications Pearson agreed to me provide the full refund in different card on 26th September, 2021 (I have closed the old card with account already and that Ihave informed to Pearson) thru email and asked me to contact their support staff thru phone call but their support call denied to help me to cancel the exam and transfer the money in different account and asked again me to drop an email asking for reschedule so that they can coordinate with ISC2 for rescheduling option and I followed their instruction. Meanwhile I received another email from them where they asked me if I can get an email from card vendor mentioning that they can not open a new account linked with the old account then theycould consider. I contacted the card vendor and got the email confirmation for the same as well as I provided the URL from the card company's website, where it is mentioned as notice that the card company presently restricted with some specific RBI guidelines and they can not open a new account for card (customer care representative asked me to provide the link to Pearson). After spending much time on this when I sent the email again I got an email where they mentioned they will be reviewing the case as a rare scenario. When called again the next day their on-call customer care representative refused to help again. The communication started on 14th September for the test scheduled for 7th October, they keep telling me to wait and write an email and the next day they are only denying the email instructions. Now the situation is I am not able to take the exam and get the refund. They are very slow and misguide me as their emails say something and while calling they say something. Also, sometimes they aren't strict to their SLA for replying to emails within 48 hours, because of their delay I mentally frustrated and also need the solution from the consumer court.

They cancel my exam without any solid reason.
I just recently gave the Microsoft AZ-900 exam few days back and on the middle of exam my exam got closed. It was worst experience ever. I got revoke from the exam because according to him I left the webcam repeatedly. My case no is[protected]. They didn't even bother to review the video recording.

This is to inform you. We are putting in a complaint against ged.com. Pearson Vue. And their customer service.
I've had to call several times from the moment we signed up, first our payment info didn't go through... Because the address needed to be removed and reentered... So dumb. That took over an hour, between getting a lost call, and the huge language barrier... She wouldn't transfer is to an English speaking person, or transfer us to someone in the USA. She also wouldn't transfer us to a supervisor.
After purchasing the original pretests, we had to purchase 2 extra failed pre tests and got charged for 3, that's an extra $6.00 charged, which have not been returned. Then we've now scheduled 2 tests which we were not able to sign in for, one was Friday 5/14/21, at noon and another 5/18/21 @ noon, again not able to sign in with good internet. Both paid for. At this moment I've called this company 3 times, twice they lost me, the caller... No call back! I've asked to be transferred to a supervisor/ manager all 3 times with no avail. I've currently been on this call 35minutes. I was just told I'd have to wait another 45-50 minutes, for a supervisor. Still waiting to sign in to account to take a paid for scheduled test. The test was scheduled for noon today it is almost 2pm.
Please get this matter resolved.

Post pre-run system check i was not able to give exam.

They are the worst online exam provider I have ever experienced. Their call center is unprofessional and rude. They had my exam today restarted midway but left dry for three hours after being told to wait. Their online customer service was also rude. After explaining to them what I have encountered today, they just told me they cannot do anything and hang up. That is after 1.5 hours of just waiting to speak to a customer representative. I made my complaint to my professional association (The Institute of Internal Auditors). This time is not my first with what they have done to me. My first horrible experience with them is when I tried to take an exam with CompTIA - The Computing Technology Industry Association. I ended my professional journey with CompTIA - The Computing Technology Industry Association and become Sec+ Certified because of Pearson Vue's unprofessionalism and inefficiency. I hope The Institute of Internal Auditors will end their contract with them.

online testing
On 3-30-20, i took the online test for camp certification through pmi. I completed the test and the screen stated congratulations you passed the exam. An hour later i got an email stating that i left the test and was disqualified. I never left the test.
I have tried to contact them to appeal to no avail. I have contacted pmi and reported this and to see if they have a way to contact them.
I would suggest anyone taking a test from them online, have a camera of your own running too.

Several times i highlighted corruption spread by ex pearson staff nitika jain. Over numerous communications unethical & malpractices done by nitika have shared with pearson and other test centers. It appears that pearson has no control over ex employees who had turn rancid.

getting bribed for pte exam score report
I have taken information about generating pte sxorereport without sitting to exam
And now i am getting forced and bribed for this to pay for my score report and if i thought quitting it because it was wrong way to do so but now i am getting forced to pay them money for which i am not ready.
Other wise they told they would be getting blocked my name and my career would be under danger

agate solutions hyderabad dealing proxy exam
I am a student seen that agate solutions is conducting proxy exams, why the management is not taking action despite of several complaints. This center is writing the exam without candidate.. It charges huge amount to help the candidate,. It is compleity a crime. Please remove the center. Or else we will escalate to higher authority

I had 2accounts and the account was locked, the customer service individual mentioned to share the passport copy and fill the form to fix the profile and unlock my account. However when I attendeda the coordinator checked my passport and she mentioned she will not allow me to take the exam because of the naming convention. 1. The executive who i reached one day before the exam mentioned the name can be corrected on the same day of exam which was wrong info 2 . My profile was created by Pearson customer care they asked me to send the form and the passport to unlock and merge 2 accounts Why should I be penalized for the mistake of Pearson executive. I have raised a consumer complaint in India. Also I am planning to work out with a lawyer fora case of cheating to extract money in a unlawful way. I would expect a callback from Pearson on this also a reschedule of the exam.
