I have a PPF a/c at Post Office, Sowcrpet, Chennai. I have given a request and done all formalities for Transfer of my PPF aaccount to Canara Bank, Sowcarpet Branch, Chennai. This I have done on 27/11/2014. Even though one and half month was over the account is yet not Transfered. The account details is as mentioned: NAME: REKHA DEVI A/C NO: 1039642 IN POST OFFICE, SOWCRPET, CHENNAI.

Dear Mr Chugh,

1. I had applied to PNB BANK, New Jawahar Nagar, for transfer of PPF a/c no 4 & 5 from PNB to SBI, Link Road branch, Model Town, Jalandhar. We met the Manager who referred us to Mr Tiwari, M:[protected]. who accepted the applications of myself & my wife Dr. Rajwant Kaur, on 16/8/14.

2. We were told to enquire after 10 days. So i called Mr Tiwari on 26/8/14, was told to enquire day after tomorrow. Again I called him on 28/8/14, was told that, " email has been sent to Head Office, PNB, so will get reply in 1-2 days, so please call day after tomorrow". So again I called hiim on 30/8/14. Mr. Tiwari again replied the same, so I called him 4th time on 1/9/14. Now he did't even pick up the call.

3. So please reply as early as possible, as transfer to any branch, any bank or post office any where in India is allowed. SBI Head had advised me to get the Draft of PPF till date with all interest, so there is no problem, they told me that they will open the trasferred acccount in a day, as online transaction facility of SBI is very swift for PPF also.

4. I have to deposit money Rs. 50000 each in both accounts online to SBI, kindly transfer the PPF accounts to SBI, Model Town branch as early as possible.

I had requested State Bank of India, Main Branch Aligarh to transfer my & my husband and Gurgaon as I had retired from Service but they are demanding Draft Charges (Approximately about Rs.20000/- & Rs 10000/-). for transferring the aaccount to Gurgaon. Dear Sir,

I had opened a Public Provident Fund (PPF) A/C No 1513 in Feb 1997 with Birlagram Post Office ,Nagda ,Distt Ujjain ,M.P.

While I have already submitted application for issuance of cheque towards the maturity proceed, in the prescribed form , in the first week of April'2012 ,till date the Post Office at Birlagram has not released the amount citing delay at Ujjain Post Office.

Request please take up with the concerned authorities for releasing the amount without any further delay and to take disciplinary action against all persons responsible for this delay.

Hi,

I was working with a DSA Shelters Authorized sales agency of CITIBANK. I had worked there for more than two years. PPF was deducted every month from my salary. The company had shut down in 2008. I had filled up my form and submitted to the company for claiming the PPF in 2008. Till date there has bene no respone in the matter and money net yet received.

I really don not know how to go about claiming the amount. All i just have is my PPF account number.

Sir please remitt my provident fund money at the earliest as i have already deposited my pf documents in Dwarka pf office on 11 january 11 . my account number is DL/18513/8148.
On phone enqury I was told that both of the payments of Rs 24881 and Rs 9950 were made but I have received only Rs 9950 on 30March2011 ,
So if both the payments were made and only one payment is credited in my A/C so I am worried.

Sir, I got my PPF a/c transferred from SBI Narmada Nagar (Khandawa) Code. No.8522 to SBI Morar (Gwalior) Code. 4661 in Feb 2010. IT is heartening to mention that the due interest of financial year 2009-10 is not credited by any SB I. Neither by SBI Narmada Nagar nor by SBI Morar.The details of my PPF a/c are
as follows. Details of PPF a/c Name of a/c holder- Suresh Chandra Yadav Type of a/c .PPF A/c NO. at SBI Narmada Nagar: [protected] a/c NO. at SBI Morar. [protected]
Opening balance while transferring Rs 76789/-
Kindly take a necessary action in order to credit the interest in to my PPF a/c at the earliest. I already complaint by putting up application . They did not bother even to response.

i am having a ppf a/c in allahabad bank a/c no is [protected] i have deposited a ch of 20000 from my bank of baroda a.c on 30/05/2009 which was debited from my bob a/c on 01/06/2009 but it has not been credited to my ppf a/c the bank officials are not responding in this matter

i was opened a PPF A/C on[protected] at ANDUA BRANCH the same was transfered to DURGAPUR(0074) on 12/11/2001 after transfer the interest for the period of 01/04/2001 to 12/11/2001 was not credited by DURGAPUR(0074) to my a/c again i was transfered my a/c to DURGAPUR STEL TOWNSHP B-ZONE (7503) on 06/02/2009 again the interest for the period of 01/04/2001 to 06/02/2009 was not credited to my a/c by DURGAPUR STEL TOWNSHP B-ZONE (7503), pl look into the matter at the erliest. My a/c no.-[protected]

I have applied for my PPF account transfer from Chingelpet to Nanganallur branch on 19.10.09. I was told that the transfer will take place in a day or two. Since i am residing in Nanganallur, i drove down all the way to close my account in Chingelpet on a week day taking leave.
On 27th, I checked up with the SBI Nangallaur branch and was told that the transfer has not taken place and was asked to come the next day. They also told me that the concerned SBI employees of Chingelpet were probably not aware of the procedure of transfer and that they should make a draft, send it to Nanganllur and only then it will get transferred.
The next day morning i went and as usual i was refered to so many employees and finally a gentlemen (if i am permitted to say so) told me that he will check it up and asked me to come in the afternoon (as if i do not have any other work).
I once again spoke to the Chief Manager of Chingelpet on the issue and was told that they will do the needful on 28.10.09
It is quite appalling that SBI Nanganallur is quite irresponsive and has made no effert in solving the problem instead blaming each other. This is not the first time such a thing as happened. The staff in this branch are generally quite arrogant and they need to undergo a course on "Customer Behaviour).
I request your good self to look into the matter and punish the guilty (knowing well that punishment of an emplyee in SBI is something which nobody can do) and the customer has to suffer.
I even tried the complaint cell number but the number was out of order. IT HAS TO BE. The SBI web server is also not accepting any mail.

GOD SAVE THE COUNTRY FROM SBI and in future i will do all that is possible to spoil whatever image the bank has made.

My co-brother passed away on 2nd June 2009 and my sister-in-law wants to settle his PPF account. She is nominee in the account but unfortunately she has lost the PPF account passbook, however she has the account number and branch details. We visited the branch last week and collected the necessary forms for the claim but the manager asked us that it is compulsary to bring the passbook while submitting the claim form. I would like to know if it is necessary to have passbook as the same could be easily re-issued by the SBI branch as they do have the complete record of this account, please advice.

Dear sirs: I had a ppf a/c for 15 years and was getting 8% int. However I forgot to give an extension letter and now 16 years and two months have passed. The bank tells me that your a/c has lapsed and you cannot continue this a/c. Also they have informed that if the amount is not withrawn it will earn only savings bank int. and not 8%. Please inform me regarding the rule.

I had applied for transfer of PPF account from Akurdi post office PUNE M.H to SBI Mudhol – bagalkot dist – Karnataka on December 2008.

It is almost one year now my account has not been transferred I have missed this year investment and maybe some more.

I don’t know what to do? It is causing stress and anxiety

I had opened an PPF account No 82 Syndicate Bank Janpath Branch kindly inform the status of the account as the Branch is not responding due to shifting from Janpath to KG Marg.

I had PPF account no.381with Sector 22 Post office Faridabad 121005. On my request In July 2008 account was transferred to SBI Faridabad. GPO Faridabad had sent all relevant papers for transfer to SBI except the cheque of Rs.3248 of the outstanding in the account.

A photocopy of the cheque clearing statement no.679125 dated 26.7.08; Seq. no.[protected] Pres Bank[protected] for Rs.3248 was obtained which was found to have been cleared by Head Post office Sonepat. Since then we are regularly following up with Post offices at Faridabad and Sonepat but with no clue. It seems officials at both Post offices in collusions are siphoning PPF money of public. I request a through investigation and culprit be taken to task.
