this is a usual pract of most. .. or i shuld say almost all the pple wrking working in govt offices. even govt schools live on bribe.

people r fed up. I am studying to be a civil servant only with a hope NOT to be corrupt and to stop these bribes for the betterment. I too Love my India.. more than anythng. but just because of these handful of them our system is critized.

I live in the same vicinity as that o[censored]r mother.. and even m going thru the same procedure. I have sumhow managed to gt my work done without Bribe... cuz i believe it all starts with 1 person. My family wntd 2 gt the wrk done with some money under the table but if i encourged it 2dy, probably 2mrw i wuld nt b fit to call myself a non-corrupt officer...

1 last thing... Always b proud of India. dont lose hopes cuz of few .. m sure 1 day things wil change...

Subj: Removal of name from ration card

I am a house owner and would like to remove my brother's name from my ration card as he is no longer living with me. When I went to submit the relevant form however, I was told that it was necessary for my brother to be present and consent to the removal of his name or it would not be possible to do so. I do not understand why my brother's consent is required when the house belongs to me and it should my decision whether his name should continue to be on my ration card.

I was told this was to protect the interest of my brother. Shouldn't the house owner's interest be priority? What do I do if my brother refuses to accompany me to the office to give his consent for the same?

I checked about new ration card when will i get and officer when will come for verification to my residence but they said no idea may be it will take 15 days, one month, six months but there is no proper responce because its Govt office. and I checked about my LPG Conncection disconnected -One of the Officer said we dont have any objection about LPG Gas Connection. The Distributor has to be released.

This is very difficult to run around behind all the officers and LPG Distributor to Continue supply the Gas Cyldender supply. I request you to look in to the matter because it is very difficult to get the ration card from Food office.

I'm trying to get Ration card to get GAS cylinder for domestic purpose since 3 years from now, but I always find it difficult because the officials don't accept the application. They always send us back and say come next month.

Finally on 17th Sep once again I visited their offices and they said they are accepting the application.

I have submitted Passport copy, House documents as address proof. But the officials insist they require Voters ID card. Although I have applied for Voters ID, I'm yet to receive it. Please tell us, is to mandatory to have Voters ID.

We are having constant problem with the Ration Shop dealer, not only are they behaving rudely, but have been most uncooperative in all manner. The rates they are charging in Sugar is Rs 32/- Kg, Rice Rs 22/- kg, where as we understand it is less in other shop. Even the weight of the items given to us is not enough when verified at home..We will be grateful if the matter is investigated and we are allowed to use the card with other dealer.
.We are sorry to bring this to you, which have been unavoidable due to uncooperative and rude behaviour of the ration dealer.

I'm resinet of mysore from last 3 years and trying get GAS cylinder for domestic purpose.
When I asked Gas Agency, Without Ration Card application will not be considered. I started looking for applying Ration Card. But officials said, at present Ration Card new application are not being taken, temporarily. When this temporary period ends no one knows.

I have applied for Adhar Card, and got a receipt confirmation. Gas Agency is not accepting this as document Proof.

At present, even Online application for Ration Card is also Blocked.

1. How get ration card?
2. For domestic gas connection ration card is mandatory?
3. Adhar Card can help for domestic gas connection?

File an RTI to Public information officer of concerned office asking the same details . You will get response within 30 days .. See the magic of change. The concerned officer has to oversee and make the necessary within the timeline for sure. search RTI for internet and send it by Speed post for good response.


10 rs for postal order and 12 rs for speed post .. and a RTI(simple from to respected sir letter) in english/local language ... You can get the work done..
Since the reply is from an authorized govt officer in written statement . It will have lot of formalities and accuracies to be guarnteed by a GOVT officer... RTI works like a magic in 30 days..

I[censored] feel insecure in filing RTI alone like identity revealing will be problem, Send RTI as a group thru friends or thru RTI activist representative from other states

But till date I am not able to add her name to ration. We had lost our old ration card since the verification issues of civil supply department. so, on their proposal we have applied for a new ration card in our city on 17.5.2010 but so far we have received neither ration car nor any information on it. Today, dated 28/02/2011, is a last day of month, but Sugar is not available in the concerned store. As per the information from Mr. Khrat, (may be owner of the said shop and mostly always available in the store) informed that he has paid the certain amt. through the bank for the purchase of food grain and sugar, kerosine etc. to the concerned Govt. Depatment but supply of food grain is not yet received and there is no chance of getting suger in contrail rate in future.

The complaint is recorded in the Complaint Book of the said Ration Shop.

I also received an information from the said Mr. Khrat (Shop Owner) that concerned Rationing Inspector is not physically visiting to the said store for checking the record but he has to take all books of record to the concerned Rationing Office before the concerned Inspector/officer.

As per my knowledge the concerned inspector has to visit the shop personaly and verify as per the duty confered by the concerned Govt. Department.

Dear team,

My name is yogesh kerkar staying at jogeshwari (east), our ration shopkeeper done a mistake in my ration card.
then after he was told my mother in your ration card GAS registered so i can`t give u kerosene.

We request him we don`t have gas on this ration card, then he told us please put your request to rationing office which is located at andheri (e).

After that we had put written complaint in that office also, they told us officer will visit your place for verification.
from complaint data to today`s date (5-4-11) period is more than 6 month, no one has visited for verification.

and for that silly mistake they want verification, also i have checked my other ration card there is gas registered entry but
on this perticular card i did not found same entry.

then how is it possible
