I Anita Vatsa, is living with 3 children at Sarai Jullena Area. Long time back when Delhi Govt. asked eery ration card holder for the replacement, I have also applied for the same. Where in i was asked to submit my old one. Same was done by me and as per the Govt. Policy i should have recevd the new one. I also have the receipt with me provided by the MCD people for the new card.

When everbody recevd ration card mine was missing from the MCD OFFICE. I have spkn to their employees several times but till today no response. Its been like more than 2 years, i have been chasing MCD people to have my query resolved.

the ration shop on the ground floor of R L A TOWERS COOP HSG STY LTD sells out PDS stock in black market, he charges Rs 30 for kerosene from consumers other than ration card holders ie black, he does not have any stock as he sells them on blank market.

I live in SaltLake in Calcutta, West Bengal. Our nearest ration shop is at AB AC Market. We have been continuously drawing our ration from the ration shop personally. A month ago, I send my servant with ration cards to took the ration. The ration shop owner gave the ration but no entry has been made on the back of the ration card. Earlier also he does not gives the ration slips / invoices and does not enter the details in the register. Now he is saying that since you have not taken the ration for one month, hence you are not eligible to draw any ration and you are hereby abondoned. He is using this type of tactics to so many persons in the locality, in order to gain certain extra money on these type of cheap counts. I earnestly request you to take this matter.

My Mother has purchased a room in Antop Hill, mumbai. She has got new ration card from ration office for the same. We have submitted old ration card for the same. But, by mistake, they have mentioned my age as 14 years (Which is showing in old ration card) where as my present age is 29 years.

Iam working 6 days a week. So, do not have enough time to visist the ration office. Ration officers are saying that there is no need to worry about the age mentioned in new ration card.

i agree with Mr. Kamaludeen Shaikh, Yesterday i visit same ration office and Mr. Shelke treating like beggar me. he ask me for 10 xerox copies of Form No. 1 and when i say no... then he show me the website and say form is available here... and very next day same form available in front of xerox shop of ration shop at Rs. 5/-, the real cost of form is Rs. 2/-, but the lady seating to counter is told me, i[censored] want form then you have to pay Rs. 5/=...

For the past 10 years the rationshop owner of my area blackmarket Kerosene, Grain and groceries.
When we approach the Owner for our ration quota, he always come with the excuse that the ration is over and will have to wait for another week. When the next week comes then he has to say that we had called ration officer and still not received the quota for his ration.
As there is a period which comes between 01-15 of each month which is when we receive the first quota for ration and after this period is over the Owner has to say since we are late he cant help.
I have seen with my own eyes he blackmarket kerosene, grain to people who buy monthly for a certain amount of sum which is more than the ration price.
Inspite request to government officers they pay no heed .

I went to the ration officein Nehru Nagar, Chembur-Kurla, Mumbai to get the registered address changed on the ration card, since I have changed my location in Mumbai. I submitted all the relevant documents including the transfer form from Andheri East Ration Office and the old ration card. The application form was accepted but the clerk returned the old ration card and told me to meet the officer on 16th January 2013. When asked why the old card was returned to me, he said that he could accept the old card since it is punched and that i would be issued a new card. It is correct that I had punched the old card just to keep in my file safely. Nobody at the Andheri Office intimated that I should not punch the card.

In this connection my grievance is :

1. Why I am required to meet an officer after two months when my all papers otherwise is in order?
2. Does it take to complete the formalities two months?
3. Why punching of the card is treated as "cancelled" when the transfer certificate issued by the
original office is attached?

The REVISED MODEL CITIZENS’ CHARTER (JULY 2007 ):
FOR THE TARGETED PUBLIC DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM (TPDS) states :

The State Government shall ensure periodical checking of ration cards to eliminate bogus ration cards and also take stern action against persons found guilty of misusing the TPDS benefits. A time limit for making any additions or deletions in the ration cards will be drawn up by the State Governments as per the chart given below:

Item of work Time Limit * Authority to effect changes.
1. Inclusion / Deletion of family / members (by representation to Area Rationing Office. (i) Same day on presentation of ration cards with required proofs (wherever necessary) (ii) Within seven days if physical verification is necessary (for additions).
2. Change in address within jurisdiction of the same FPS. Same day
3. Change in Address including change in FPS Seven working days
4.Issuance of surrender certificate on transfer of family to other city or otherwise Two working days.
5. Issuance of new ration card within the State (with surrender certificate) Seven working days
6. Issue of new ration cards in case of change of State (with surrender certificate). Two weeks.

My Ration Card Number is 13/G/0534815 issued originally at Pollachi and later transferred to Madurai (West), consequent upon my employment transfer to Madurai.


10 days back, two ladies came to our premises for verification of ration card and verified card of another family residing in our building. But when we produced our card for verification along with my Voter I D Card, they simply refused to verify stating that the relevant verification form for my card is not available with them, They promised to visit our house with the form next day before 10.00 a.m. or after 5.00 p.m. But nobody has turned up to our house so far to verify even after waiting for over 10 days.

We are going nowhere locking the house expecting their arrival for the last 10 days. I heard that the last date for verification was 30.09.2009.

I am now afraid about the fate of my ration card and whether new card will be issued for the next term. If you enquire with the persons who came for verfication, I am sure they will come out with the readymade reply "When we went there the door was locked" etc. But please do not believe them, if such a statement is made as an excuse for non-verification.

I do not know what to do, whom to approach and how to approach for getting my NON-BOGUS RATION CARD verified. I will be much thankful if somebody is able to guide me.

We are newly married. Now I want to apply for a new ration card in Chennai (Mathur MMDA)Re.How can I apply for this and what are the required documents which I need to submit.Can you please guide me with the complete procedure of getting a new Ration Card.

We are four person in my family me, my husband my 3 yrs. old daughter & 9 months old son. I want to apply my ration card at NOIDA as i am working in NOIDA since 1997. After my marriage my father -in-law added my name & my daughter's name in his ration card at shahbadh, kurshetra at haryana. Now i demanded my ration card for address proof, they refused to give the same. they told me it is lost . They even not ready to do any FIR or cancelling our names from the ration card.so kindly tell me the procedur to make a new ration card with the my name, my husband & and my son & daughter's name.

start se problem batata hoon, we were 3 in family me, my mom and siter, but somehow my mom lost the ration card and did not apply for new one when new ration cards were issued. so now i got married n have a baby. meri wife ka naam pehle wale ration card se katwa diye hain. we have the receipt. but my mom is not coopratin in making new ration card kyon ki woh nahin chahti ki meri biwi aur bachchi kam naam ration card mein aaye that why she is not applying for new ration card.

now i have my passport, driving license and voter i d card. so i want to know ki kya main khud ke naam pe ek naya ration card banwa sakta hoon. but the house is on my mothers name. i m worried that my daughter n my wifes name is yet not iin ration card.

so someone can please help me, i need advice that kya main mera naya ration card banwa sakta hoon.

Form D-1 at the official site of Haryana is defective. It has been hoisted without converting it in any language. People are facing difficulty. Pl get it corrected so that people can download it.
