Delay in passport

I applied for the passport on 25 th of November 2011 in the Ranchi passport office. Two times police verification has been done but still i haven't got my passport yet. The period for the passport was one month, but it has been more than two and a half months my passport police verification status is pending. Three times i went to the passport office but they say we haven't got your police verification yet....

applied for passport in january 2011 at ranchi passport office. it has been received by them, they have encashed money from draft i had sent. but didnt send my passport yet. i called many times, either they dont pick up the phone or else do not reply with correct information. Being a government employee, police verification and CID investigation should not be done but CID investigatyion was done. dont even reply to emails. Complaint/Grievance...
