Hi Team,

This is a complaint regarding RICO Service Center and RICO Mumbai service executives, for a Rico Rechargeable Fan I purchased online from Amazon and from the authorized retailer.

I read the reviews later. that 90% of genuine customers have the same complaint and Amazon doesn't verify this seller as it is reputed one.

After using the product for 10 days itself I started facing issues, but the return window of Amazon was closed, but RICO provided a warranty of 1 year so I tried to contact RICO directly. I didn't get a response due to the 1st WAVE of COVID pandemic.

Around 1 month ago, I was provided with a few service centers far away(~20kms) from my home, I had to reach the service center and handover the product to them, because I had made the mistake of purchasing a RICO product.

I was provided Berugi Electrical & Electronics No.3, Ground Floor, Betadasapura Main Road, Electronic City Phase 1, Bangalore -Karnataka 560100, Near St Xavier School (Map) Mob [protected] / [protected]

I couldn't locate the store in Maps, so I contacted the number provided and I was given the address of a different Electrical store, it didn't matter to me at that time and I reached the destination after Contacting the person INDAR CHAND BHATI...

The concerned person was not there and I had to hand over the product at a different Electrical store and the above Authorized person confirmed that the product is received and he will get it checked and update me soon.

For the next 24 hours there was no update, I contacted the person above, they said in the next 2 hours I will update, the same story continued for 3 days.

I reached out to the RICO Mumbai service center executives, but they supported this Bangalore Service center for the next three days and kept delaying a check of the issue, forgetting about solving it.

RICO boasts of a company established in 1965 and being the first company to introduce mixer and grinders in India, but post pandemic have you people lost it that it takes 10 min to get a table fan open and identify the issue. If I am wrong, then come to my area and I will show you a local electrician who can do so.

The next day, I felt cheated, abrupt power cuts in my area and the heat of the summer disturbed the sleep of my Infant.. so I made the mistake of purchasing this RICO fan, an Indian company, while listening to the speeches of the PM. Modi "VOCAL for LOCAL" but you people are a shame for LOCAL and should be banned from selling in India.

I already wasted 500 bucks in handling the fan to the Authorized service center, now the Mumbai service executive said send the product to our WAREHOUSE and we will repair it and send it back.

This is the height of LOOTING, CHEATING AND FRAUD.. you make me spend more than 1000 for a product of 3, 500 which I have used for more than 10 days. If I send the product there is no guarantee that I will get the product, better to forget about the warranty of the product.

I AM NOT BEGGING YOU GUYS FOR ANYTHING BUT PLEASE STOP BOASTING AND SHUT YOUR SHOP IF YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO RUN IT PROPERLY, DON'T CHEAT CUSTOMERS SO THAT YOU CAN PAY SALARY TO YOUR EXECUTIVES AND DON'T DEFAME INDIAN COMPANIES.

RICO customer care ASMITA, SERVICE HEAD PRADEEP AND Executive SANGITA has started harassing me in different ways. This fake product has cause enough of HARASSMENT, stop RICO appliances from cheating people any further.

    I have purchased The RICO mixer grinder with the following details.
    Serial_No :MG828 HA[protected]
    Product Name :Mixer Grinders - MG 828
    Purchase Date :12 July, 2017
    PurchaseFrom :INCS KOCHI

    Within / Outside Warranty :WITH IN WARRANTY
    During the usage it has been observed that each jar become defective within 02-03 months due to material/design failure. During the first week o[censored]sage one jar coupling thread damaged and the damaged coupling replaced. Further within 01 year all 03 jars blade/coupling become damaged one by one as below:-
    1. Main Jar:- during the usage the blade broken .
    2. Juicer Jar: - The plastic coupling came out form the metal attachment moulded.
    3. Small jar: - The coupling -blade attachment rotating freely due to tread damage
    The jars can be repaired by replacing the coupling / blade attachment.
    I have requested for dispatch the spares for repairs after attaching the photographs of damage on 13- 08-18 by mail and replied to contact local service person. When I contacted he told to forward the relevant documents and photo graphs of damages by whats App and forwarded the same on 30-08-18. There was no reply/response again send a reminder on 13-09-18 and spoken again on 14-09-18 and he has asked to contact Mumbai office for solution. I again send mail to Rico customer service Mumbai on[protected]. Thereafter made many telephone calls and promised several times to send the spares but there was no action. Hence again send mails on 27 Sep 18, 06 Oct 18, 17 Oct 18 and there was no response, so I made many phone calls and initially promised to dispatch and no actions, and not even picking the phone. Then I called from different numbers and finally they told again to contact local service person and will do the necessary action. I again contacted him first he told to send the address and promised to dispatch the spares and there was no action. When further contacted he told to forward the all relevant documents and photos again and I forwarded thee same but no response/action. Further I send reminder and tried to contact by telephone many times and the call was not answered.
