Overview:
In an unfortunate incident, I fell victim to a deceptive job scam orchestrated by individuals claiming to be representatives of 'Rozgar Mela Niyukti.' The fraudulent scheme offered an enticing job proposition with a promised salary of Rs. 95, 000 per month in my hometown. The scammers cunningly disguised the position as a government job, exploiting the trust of job seekers like myself. This report aims to expose the fraudulent activities and alert others about this malicious job scam while urging authorities to take stringent action against the perpetrators.
Incident Timeline:
1. Initial Contact: On 15th July 2023, I received a call from a person identifying themselves as Sakshi Sharma (Contact No. [protected]), who claimed to be associated with 'Rozgar Mela Niyukti.' She asked me to submit my Aadhar card copy and resume, citing the need for government job process verification.
2. Verification Call: Subsequently, I received another call from an individual named Shrikant Sharma (Contact No. +[protected]), who claimed to be part of the same organization. He verified details from my resume, including previous work experience, skills, and educational background.
3. Examination Form and Payment: After confirming my credentials, Shrikant Sharma requested me to fill out an examination form, stating that it was mandatory for further selection processes. The cost of the form was Rs. 1698, which I paid as instructed.
4. Unsupervised Test: On 20th July 2023, I received a test link for the examination. Surprisingly, the test lacked any form of proctoring or monitoring, raising suspicions about its authenticity. The scammers claimed that securing a mere 40% marks in the test would guarantee my selection for the job.
5. Confirmation Email and Additional Fees: Following the test, I received an email stating that I had cleared the examination and nearly secured the job. However, this communication also demanded an additional fee of Rs. 4589 for purported training modules, police verification, and health insurance.
6. Realization and Counteraction: It was at this point that I became aware of the potential job scam and decided to take action against the fraudsters. I refused to pay any more money and initiated this report to expose their deceitful activities and protect other job seekers from falling prey to this scam.
Action Requested:
I urge the concerned authorities to take immediate and severe action against the fraudulent individuals operating under the name of 'Rozgar Mela Niyukti' and to initiate a refund of Rs. 1698 from such scamsters. It is essential to conduct a thorough investigation to identify the perpetrators behind this job scam and bring them to justice. I seek measures to raise awareness about such scams among job seekers and establish stricter safeguards to prevent these fraudulent activities in the future.

Received a call from a female claiming to be a HR. They will talk genuinely, telling that they have shortlisted your profile and exam is scheduled. They will tell promising words such as you will be in a direct central government payroll. And they will ask you to pay 1698. Everything will seem genuine, until you realize that you have been scammed. Don't be me. Central Govt. jobs are really competitive, and involves lots of process. They won't...
