Flight cancelled

After 2hours of boarding, we got told that the aeroplane developed some technical issues and were told to go back to airport.
We had to collect our luggage and got tickets for the next available flight which was 48 hours later.
We were provided with a single room for 3 adults.
The whole experience left us stressed and exhausted. The hotel experience contributed alot more stress and anxiety.
We lost 2 days salary due to all this experience.
I need to know if we are intitled to any composition?
Please advise

I'm complaining about our recent experience with Saudi Arabia airline

4 family tickets on Jun, 2020 with the below information have been cancelled by the Saudi airlines due to covid19 measures and KSA travel restrictions.

luggage lost
I had travelled from germany to kochi over medina and then jeddah. My luggage didn't arrive in jeddah as the people told me in kochi on th 14th april 2019. I am here for the wedding of my cousin and all my stuff for the wedding is in my luggage. So please if you see any lost black luggage, please contact saudi arabian airlines. My flight number was sv784 from jeddah to kochi. And from germany to jeddah over medina sv 168. The tag on my baggage is coksv21345.

bad behavior and refund
Hi i travel on 3rd of jan 2019 from jeddah to dubai through sv 594 along with my wife and two 8months old infants. It was really bad experience at jeddah airport. When i see checkin is open i came in the queue for check in counter which are i believe counter # 15 to 27 and queue was very long but i along with my family wait in the queue and when we reach next to check in counter supervisor there start yelling for cairo flights and they stop passengers of all other flights even who are standing in the queue and calling for passengers for cairo even who are not in the queue are going for checkin i request him that as i am with my family and i am in the queue plus it my turn for checkin so let me go but he stopped me i wonder what is the benefit for standing in the queue for so long i fell i am rubbish as i stand in queue for so long than on check in counter i come to know that i can not travel on my confirm seats for which i pay extra and which was booked by saudia staff and they confirm me that i can travel on these seats with infants my confirm seats are 30 b and 30 j for my wife but person at check in said i can’t travel with infants on these seats and they change our seats to 55k and 56 l with out giving any option now it’s more than one month i am writing emails to saudia airline for refund of extra payment which i make for seat selection but they refund only for one seat and one seat payment is still pending and now even they stop replying emails

aggressive behavior from saudi supervisor eisa elmasry

I am complaining from Eisa Eldosry Saudi Arabia supervisor in King Fahd international airport today .as a results of delay flight 339 more than 10 hours he was aggressive towards me and his behavior was very bad when I asked about my rights in such case.i refused to give my passport to one of his subordinate cause he carried more than 100 passport and I afraid to loose mine.
Please take corrective action agains this supervisor cause he didn't represent Saudi airline with this behavior.

worst experience ever
We had a flight from riyadh to manila on the 7th september 2018. After the take off our entertainment screens did not work. After restarting it 3 times, the staff came to us and said sorry they cannot do anything and they cannot move us as the flight was full. Fine, a 9 hour flight with a 4y old with no entertainment and not even an apology. When it came to the meal before we reach manila, choice between fish or chicken were on the menu. But just our luck, they were out of chicken half way through the service and being allergic to fish i had to go hungry. That was they first experience... Second experience came on the way back from manila to riyadh on wednesday 26th september, seats 52 j, k, l. First the seats we booked online with online check in has been moved as they changed aircraft. Again after take off, our entertainment screens did not work. When we asked the staff about it the response was sorry it does not work. I asked to speak to the supervisor onboard, mr. Fazen and after a long talk he finally moved us to another seat. Now the audio did not work. I spoke to the supervisor again and he promised to make the note to the airline. How must we not have entertainment for another 9 hour flight that we paid for? When the meal came again before we reached riyadh, again the chicken run out before it reached us. When we asked the staff to please see if there is any spare, she came back within 10 min with a chicken meal. She told us that this is for us, but it actually is for the staff. I was shocked. I told her to keep her staff meal and again no food.
This was our 5th wedding anniversary and we wanted to be special. But really the way we got treated and no entertainment for 2 x 9 hour flights that we paid for is really shocking. I will never ever recommend saudia airlines and i will never ever fly with them again. The staff attitude really need to change. We paid for the flight, entertainment and food. And not to get that is really shocking.

taxi fare and baggage charges
Dear sir/ madam,
My ticket dammam to new delhi on 12th april 2018 get cancelled by the airlines and issued a ticket for next day. They told me that we will provide you a taxi fare from dammam to jubail and return by showing the invoice at next morning. But when i reached airport next morning 13april 2018 they told me we done have petty cast to give you the money and the station master told me to submit a online complaint on the saudi airlines site that is why i am doing this moreover my luggage was sent to delhi in other flight and while receiving my own luggage next day they charged me rs 300.
Hope i will get justice in sha allah.

Tis is to complain regarding the bad behavior of the saudi airlines staff with as
We make the registration of our tickets 065 [protected] and 065 [protected] then when we went to the boarding it took time due to the long queue by consequence we reached just before 21:00, but we found that the gate already closed
We didn’t receive an official call from the airlines to ask where we were or if we can reach or not. Even we reached before the time
It was easy to open the door for us and we will not cause any delay to the flight
But later i understood why their behavior was in such way??
They want as to miss the flight then they will charge as for the modification of the ticket and this what happened because we were in the obligation to go in the following flight so the ask for 230 aed for each ticket to go for the next flight which was at 23:00 under the booking[protected]
When we came in the plain we noticed that was almost empty, so i don’t understand why the charged as by 460aed even they make a mistake caused us to miss our 1st flight
So kindly we request to refund at least the 460 aed that they charged as because that was not fare

We were on SV 860 riyadh-manila flight 1st the aircon is not functioning properly and when we reach manila we are surprised tagta re baggages did not come out from the conveyor, a ground staff of Saudia Airlines approach us and told us that our baggage were not loaded in theplain, 1st he told us that we can claim it tomorrw since ther eis a 1:00 pm plane second we found out that it will be hiven to us the day after tommorow then finally they need to search were are the baggages, second the manager doesnt know how to troubleshoot sich situation. As if they are talking to an illiterate people

I flew from Jeddah to Amman on the 28th of June 2017 at 20:05 on Saudia Airlines. When I reached Amman my one piece of luggage was missing. We had checked in 14 pieces of luggage but only picked up at 13 items at the airport as 1 bag was missing. They refused to open a claim at Amman airport. They said if I opened a claim in Amman, I would have to pick up my luggage from Amman airport which did not make sense. From Amman we flew to Dubai and then to Durban on Emirates where we rechecked our bags in.
Please can someone help me.
I tried to fill in the contact form on the website but it’s asking for a claim number and I don’t yet have a claim number as they did not allow us to open a claim at the airport.
I need a number of someone i can contact to open a claim for my lost bag. Its been 6 days and its ridiculous that i cannot get through to anyone to help me!!

I had courier all documents to official finance office mumbai.
After loosing my flights due to arline's staff mistakes and even in the next flight i purchased again but i did not get my baggages and airlines provide it after few weeks but lost many things.
Then saudi airlines promise me to. Provide some amount which was not sufficient.
At least they should return my air ticket. I paid two flights payment.
Anyways.
I did not get amount even after approval.

My father started his travel from Delhi, India ( DEL) to Jeddah airport on 04/22/2017 by Saudi Arabia airlines. He reached at Jeddah airport at 04/23/2015 by 1:00am . He was waiting for his luggage but he did not find his luggage .No airport authority looks positive for help . He did not take any additional cloths in the carry on .He is worried about his stuff. I bought air line ticket from CheapOair on April 09-2014 booking number 21002125/Dep-Cairo airport on[protected]
to Washington Dulles DC USA when i went to Cairo airport the Saudi agent refused to board and denied to give me any reason.and i had my valid passport and green card.then i missed my flight after that i have to buy another ticket so
i can go back to USA in the same day.after i arrived try to get my refund they refused also filed dispute with CheapOair and my credit card the answer from the Saudi air was no refund tile today[protected] also i submitted copy of my passport-green card-US immgiraition in JFK NY-and copy of other air line ticket that i bought it in same day.still refused to refund me

Dear all.
I would be very happy, if you please update me about my lost baggage, since till date no positive reply after following up almost every day with your Mumbai office.
For your ready reference my claim # is Mumbai MUMSV 20925.
I would again just brief you shortly about my journey from Baghdad to Mumbai via Jeddah which will help you to locate my bag (Red & Black Colour).
On 08 December 2011 i travelled in ME 323 (Middle East) from Baghdad to Beirut. This flight was delayed & arrived late in Beirut due to which i was not able to board the connecting flight SV 640 from Beirut to Jeddah.
The transfer desk staff in Beirut made me to wait for One day in duty free area. I was left on my own with no mean's of communication (Mobile, Internet, etc.) During this period of 24 hour's i inquired many times about my baggage & every time they confirmed me that i will get my baggage in Mumbai.
I also paid money (605 USD) from my own pocket for my next day (09 December 2011) flight, since the Beirut transfer desk staff told me that the Saudi Airlines has cancelled my yesterday's both ticket's.
Then i travelled on 09 December 2011 in SV 642 from Beirut to Jeddah.
& then on 10 December 2011 in SV 744 from Jeddah to Mumbai.
After searching & waiting at Mumbai airport for almost more than 3 hour's i did not received my luggage.
All this was immediately reported to the Saudi Arabian Airlines counter at Mumbai & the officer also filled up lost baggage form.
Now after calling Mumbai office almost everyday, they have instructed me and accordingly i have filled up one more form (Baggage claim form) on internet on your web-site and also i have filled up the same form and personally send you on the address (To Jeddah) mentioned on your envelope thru Indian Post Office. Also in that same envelope i have attached/posted more copies for your ready reference, all my 3 boarding pass, passport copies & also the form filled at Mumbai airport.
In the claim form i have not added all/many small item's in my bag like medicine's, foot powder, shaving razor's, laundry bag, slipper's, under garment's, c/d's, etc. Also i would like to inform you that the claim (more than 1400 USD) made by me is true. I would have easily mentioned or claimed that i have electronic's like laptop, digital camera, mobile, etc. worth 3000 USD or more. Mainly i have all my certificate's, many document's, which is most important for my future, since this was my end of contract with the Company in Iraq.
I hope you treat this as urgent. Waiting for a positive reply from you.

I Have currently gone through a major accident in which i broke my leg completely.
I cannot walk for another 4 months due to which i cannot take the flight.
I was speaking to their offices in mumbai and they were very rude to me.
Mr. deepak especially. He is very unconsiderable. He even yelled at me and hung up on me.
He says my ticket if i try to reshedulde it for June it will cost me all together 11,500Rs,
which is equal to the ticket amount. Im very dissapointed with this. As i was looking at their website there is a guest value class available for just 50$ more than my fair and mr deepak says that the fares online dosenot reflect on his systems.I feel that they are trying to encash on someones misery. All i want is just to rebook my ticket for june and im ready to pay the
250 SAR + the difference amout shown on their website ie 50$.

Luggage Lost at Jeddah Airport
I had travelled from Chennai to Jeddah on Saudi Airlines flight SV 0769 on 09.11.2009. After landing at Jeddah Airport i could not find my bag. I went to the saudi airlines office lodged a complaint and my complaint File number is JED SV48499. They had given three numbers for enquiry but nobody picks up the call and nobody reponds. I went to the airport to enquire about the luggage they said it has been sent to the Saudi Airliness Headoffice. On checking there also the bag could not be found. Now they have not accepted the Compensation form also. The bag contains very important documents and all my clothes. The tag on the baggage is AI680332.

My mother had lost her luggage in Jeedah airport on 24th September 2009. When we came to Srilankan airport our luggage didn't return we got a complailn NO from Jeddah airport. We people came from Jeddah to Lucknow we have 7 bags but when we reached Lucknow Airport there we find only 6. My one bag is lost. this is regarding airhostess roma, she is so ill mannered .she, and her sister currently stays in my apartment as they own a flat, since 3 years they have been refusing to pay the money which they promised to pay for the application of land regularisation. 3 years back they used to stay some where else and their tenant used to be here, he was in to real estate, he did nt pay the maintainance for 1 month, becoz he was asked to leave by the owner, since the airhostess roma got shifted to india on sept 2018 and her base has been shifted here, i request saudi authorities to remove such people from job, who even after having loads of money, oppress the weak, and they clearly deny that they have to pay the money, i request the authorities to take allah conscious people, and not such cheaters. and they threaten to seal my house. becoz i guess they have great body, great number of male influential people who might be her fan... may ALLAH subhanataala become sufficient for me against such evil doers.. those who stop ( believers who truly believe in the signs of allah ) from ur way and those who belie messengers and who fight your friends. o allah put differences among enemies and make them falter in their footsteps and send upon them your punishment

I have travelled on the above flight yesterday from Riyadh to Aden. At
the checkin counter in Riyadh I was given a thru checkin with two
boarding pass upto aden and was told to take my luggage directly at
aden airport. But when i reached aden i did not find my luggage.
My luggage tag numbers are SV394965 - SV394969.
There are total five pieces which contains some testing equipment and
my personal belongings.
Now I am staying in aden waiting for the luggage. My contact number in

The customer serves representative from Washington contact me, and explain to me what i have to do when missing luggage .He asked me did i claim luggage lost at Riyadh airport and then i did not claimed it even in Washington . i be onset i did not claim my luggage till back to final distention. so he told me to provide that information, because you palmed him . i did not report that in Washington, because lost it in Riyadh not in Washington. I asked in Riyadh what i should do and no one explain to me how to do the claim .

Baggage Lost
While Travelling from Jeddah to Lucknow, India, in BUSINESS Class flight number SV 878 on 17th June 2009, my baggage was lost. The baggage has not been traced despite repeated followups and complaints. This shows the pathetic customer care and attitude of the carrier. It was a Delsey baggage.

while I was travelling from Jeddah to Dhaka on July12th 2010. When we landed at Dhaka one of our expensive suitcase went missing. Our flight number was SV802, we made several enquires at Dhaka airport, they said our luggage is still in Jeddah Airport. When we came back to England we made the claim for compensation to Saudi Airline Office in London. I sent them the necessary documents regarding my lost luggage. It is now April 2011 and I still have not got any compenstaion or a reply. I called them several times but I never had the chance to speak with the right department. I think the service was very bad.

I have called several times Saudi Airlines customer service, followed their WhatsApp regulations and also mailed. This is one of the worst service I have ever experienced.
I have no proper response from anyone. Some ask me to send Saudi IBAN for refund, why will a person who is a German resident will have Saudi IBAN. Some say, your request is forward to following departments, then later we don’t get any info. Some disconnects the call.
What stupidity is this?
